Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the way people interact, access information, and consume media. The internet, as the cornerstone of this transformation, enables instant access to information beyond the limits of space and time. One prominent manifestation of this progress is the rise of social media platforms, including YouTube Shorts, which offer short-form videos in an engaging and fast-paced format. This platform has gained immense popularity, not only among adults but also among children and adolescents. While YouTube Shorts can serve as a source of education and entertainment, its unrestricted access regardless of age raises serious concerns. Children are particularly vulnerable to exposure to content that is inappropriate for their psychological development, such as verbal violence, consumerist lifestyles, deviant behavior, and misleading information. This situation prompts a fundamental question: to what extent do digital broadcasts influence students’ mindset and behavior? This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the impact of YouTube Shorts consumption on students. The findings reveal a duality of influence: on one hand, appropriate content can enhance literacy, creativity, and language proficiency. On the other hand, without proper supervision, this platform may lead to addiction, weaken social interaction, and normalize behaviors that contradict educational values. Therefore, collaboration between parents and educators is essential. Active supervision at home and digital ethics education at school are crucial to shaping a generation that is both critical and wise in navigating the digital information landscape.

Abstract

Differentiated instruction is a pedagogical approach aimed at addressing the individual needs of students by adapting teaching strategies based on differences in ability, interests, and learning styles. This approach is increasingly relevant in the context of junior high schools, where classroom diversity necessitates more adaptive and inclusive teaching methods. This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated instruction in Social Studies subjects and assess its contribution to the quality of both the learning process and its outcomes. The method employed is a systematic literature review, identifying and analyzing scholarly articles obtained through the Publish or Perish software, which utilizes Google Scholar, focusing on publications from 2016 to 2025. The findings indicate that the application of differentiated instruction has a significantly positive impact on enhancing student engagement, academic achievement, the development of critical thinking skills, and a deeper understanding of concepts in Social Studies. This approach also succeeds in fostering an inclusive, adaptive, and participatory learning environment that encourages intrinsic motivation and boosts students’ self-confidence. The study emphasizes that the success of differentiated instruction heavily depends on teachers' ability to design and implement data-driven, responsive teaching strategies tailored to each student's needs. These findings are expected to serve as practical guidance for teachers in developing more effective instruction, enrich the academic discourse in the field of differentiated pedagogy, and contribute to the formulation of education policies that support diversity and equity in junior high school learning processes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in enhancing the communication skills of junior high school students through a literature review approach. The study critically analyzes a range of scholarly literature and recent research findings concerning the implementation of PjBL, particularly in the context of developing oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills within primary education settings. The findings indicate that PjBL fosters an active, collaborative, and contextual learning environment that significantly contributes to the improvement of students’ communication abilities. Through project completion that involves exploration, presentation, and group interaction, learners are encouraged to articulate ideas effectively, engage in active listening, and produce writing with logical and argumentative structure. Moreover, the model has been shown to enhance students' self-confidence, independence, and sense of responsibility toward their own learning process. Nonetheless, the implementation of PjBL continues to face several challenges, including limited instructional time, insufficient teacher understanding of meaningful project design, and inadequate supporting resources. Without systemic support and continuous professional development for educators, the application of this model risks becoming a mere formality with little substantive impact. Therefore, this study recommends further empirical research using a mixed-methods approach to investigate the effectiveness of PjBL across various subjects and educational levels. Such studies are expected to strengthen the theoretical foundation and promote the adoption of PjBL as a transformative learning strategy in shaping learners.

Abstract

The phenomenon of escalating anime consumption as a form of entertainment among junior high school students (Sekolah Menengah Pertama, SMP) generates an imperative to comprehend its psychological and educational ramifications, particularly concerning learning motivation. This study employs a systematic literature review methodology to analyze the correlation between anime exposure and the learning motivation levels of SMP students, with a particular focus on both intrinsic and extrinsic motivational dimensions. The synthesized literature reveals that anime, through its narrative complexity, visual quality, and motivational character portrayal, functions as a stimulus capable of enhancing intrinsic motivation by instilling ethical values and achievement-oriented zeal, as well as facilitating extrinsic motivation via social recognition incentives and identity aspirations. This augmentation in motivation contributes positively to increased concentration, active participation, and learning perseverance. Nonetheless, findings also indicate potential risks of diminished learning efficacy attributable to disproportionate time allocation towards excessive anime viewing, which may adversely impact academic performance. The contribution of this research lies in the integration of motivational theory (intrinsic and extrinsic) with media effects theory within the context of anime genres—particularly the action genre—to explicate the dynamics of media influence on cognitive, affective, and behavioral learning facets. Overall, the study concludes that the influence of anime consumption on junior high school students’ learning motivation is dualistic in nature; anime can serve as a facilitative medium for learning motivation when consumed in a controlled manner. Therefore, time management and content comprehension emerge as critical factors in optimizing the educational benefits of anime consumption without eliciting detrimental consequences on academic achievement.

Abstract

Students accustomed to more teacher-centered methods may find it challenging to take the initiative, create goals, and monitor their learning required by SRL. In addition to covering the essential material, teachers must create projects that promote SRL. This study aimed to test the effect of project-based Learning (PjBL) on empowering students’ self-regulated learning in some schools in South Sulawesi. The current study utilized a descriptive-quantitative methodology with structural equation modelling (SEM) and partial least squares (PLS) statistical analysis. The population of each school is 1.120 students. This study applied random purposive sampling, and the number of samples was 285 students. Findings show that the structural model reflected the relationship between variables and tested the hypothesis in the inner model. The results described that implementation of project-based learning is effective on student’s self-regulated learning is proved by a t-test of 38.745 smaller than the t-table of 1.96 and the p-value is smaller than 0.05 (p-value =0.00) so it can be seen that all indicators on self-regulated learning have a positive influence on the implementation of project-based learning (PjBL) model. It can be concluded that the key determinant that has the most substantial influence on the quality of students is the effective delivery of project-based learning in fostering the development of self-regulated learning. The implication requires professional development to effectively integrate PjBL with SRL strategies. Training could focus on designing projects that promote self-regulation and developing assessment methods of students' SRL skills.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat. Hal ini diiringi dengan semakin tingginya tingkat konsumsi masyarakat. Awalnya konsumsi dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan. Namun saat ini konsumsi sudah mulai kehilangan fungsinya, konsumsi tidak lagi dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari, melainkan masyarakat mengkonsumsi untuk memenuhi keinginan. Oleh karena itu, motif konsumsi atau pola konsumsi suatu kelompok masyarakat sangat ditentukan oleh pendapatan. Atau secara umum dapat dikatakan bahwa tingkat pendapatan yang berbeda-beda menyebabkan terjadinya variasi pada tingkat konsumsi suatu masyarakat atau individu. Mendeskripsikan pola konsumsi pangan masyarakat di Desa Setren Kecamatan Ngasem Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola konsumsi pangan masyarakat di Desa Setren Kecamatan Ngasem Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Menganalisis gizi ibu rumah tangga di Desa Setren, Kecamatan Ngasem Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi tobit. Ketahanan pangan rumah tangga masih dibawah angka AKE normative sebesar (2150 kkal/kapita/hari) yakni sebesar 1904,71 kkal/kapita/hari dengan konsumsi pangan rumah tangga dilihat dari perolehan skor PPH, dimana skor PPH pada rumah tangga masih dibawah skor PPH normative(100) yaitu sebesar 67.27, terdapat beberapa parameter yang berpengaruh signifikan yaitu Jumlah anggota keluarga (X1), Pendapatan/bulan (X2), dan Dummy Pengetahuan Gizi (DX3) sedangkan variabel yang tidak berpengaruh  secara signifikan yaitu pendidikan terakhir Ibu rumah tangga (X4).

Abstract

Memaknai era revolusi industri 4.0 yang merupakan era transformasi digital maka kegiatan pembelajaran dituntut untuk mengurangi penerapan metode ceramah untuk mentransfer pengetahuan (transfer of knowledge) dan meningkatkan proporsi aktivitas mengonstruksi pengetahuan oleh peserta didik menggunakan media pembelajaran yang inovatif, salah satunya menggunakan media gamifikasi untuk pembelajaran. Berdasarkan fakta di lapangan, tidak semua guru memahami pembuatan media pembelajaran edukatif sebagai media gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran agar mempermudah siswa memahami materi pelajaran dan pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan, sehingga kompetensi guru harus terus diupgrade agar dapat melakukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Adapun subjek atau peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru dari SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta, sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam upaya meningkakan kompetensi guru tersebut adalah melalui kegiatan pelatihan kepada guru dalam mengembangkan media gamifikasi untuk pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan di era digital. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam dalam mengelola pembelajaran melalui pengembangan dan pengintegrasian media edukatif sebagai gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran serta mampu menumbuhkan motivasi dan kesadaran guru-guru dalam mengemas pembelajaran yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi digital dan karakteristik siswa. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan kompetensi peserta dalam hal pengetahuan dan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan media game online sebagai gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran. Kelebihan pengbdian yang dilakukan adalah dengan simulasi dan pembimbingan langsung sehingga peserta dapat secara langsung mampraktekkan penggunaan media game online yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar tendangan momtong dollyo chagi dengan menggunakan irama musik pada ekstrakulikuler taekwondo SMAN 3 Rangkasbitung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di gedung juang 45 Rangkasbitung, kabupaten lebak, provinsi Banten. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuisioner yang berpacu pada teori MC Donald. Jumlah subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa SMAN 3 Rangkasbitung. Penelitian ini terdiri delapan kali pertemuan, dibagi menjadi dua treatment, setiap treatment mendapat kesempatan untuk empat kali pertemuan, dimana pertemuan pertama dilakukan belajar tendangan tanpa menggunakan irama musik, pertemuan treatment kedua dilakukan dengan menggunakan irama musik, setiap diakhir pertemuan treatment pertama dan kedua, di lakukan pengambilan data kuisioner tentang pengaruh musik terhadap belajar tendangan momtong dollyo chagi, Hasil penelitian dari 35 orang siswa ini di peroleh hasil data dari butir pernyataan adalah bahwa belajar tendangan menggunakan irama musik, dapat berhasil dan dikatakan tingkat kriteria keberhasilan dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Physical education teachers are hampered by a lack of information about the development of volleyball extracurriculars organized by related parties. The aim of the service is collaboration between the MGMP Penjas Junior High School and the PBVSI Bantul District Management. This service method involves training for physical education teachers for four days using theoretical techniques (lectures, discussions), practice and assignments. The number of participants in this service is: 36 physical education teachers. Evaluation was carried out using pre and post tests on the level of teacher understanding regarding the development of volleyball extracurricular activities in schools. The result of this community service was an increase in the knowledge of PJOK teachers at Junior High Schools in Bantul Regency regarding the development of volleyball extracurricular activities, with a pretest result of: 51.39. After being given training by the service team, there was an increase in the mean of: 76.39. The conclusion is that training or training on developing extracurricular activities in junior high schools for PJOK teachers in Bantul Regency can increase the knowledge of PJOK teachers to develop extra volleyball activities.

Abstract

Batik merupakan warisan budaya Indonesia yang memiliki nilai seni tinggi dan telah menjadi bagian penting dari industri fashion. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, penjualan produk batik secara online menjadi solusi untuk memperluas pasar dan memudahkan transaksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi penjualan batik berbasis web yang dapat memfasilitasi proses penjualan, manajemen inventaris, dan transaksi secara efisien. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan teknologi PHP untuk pengembangan server-side, MySQL untuk manajemen basis data, serta HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript untuk antarmuka pengguna.
