Abstract

Enhancing Students' Problem-Solving Abilities: The Role of Project-Based Learning, Problem-Based Learning, and Learning Motivation. Objective: This study aims to examine the effect of Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and learning motivation on students' problem-solving abilities at the secondary education level. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with SmartPLS 4 data analysis techniques to test the relationship between the variables involved. The research sample consisted of students at the secondary education level who were divided into three experimental groups. Each group received project-based learning (PjBL), problem-based learning (PBL) interventions, as well as the influence of learning motivation as a factor influencing students' problem-solving abilities. Findings: The results of the study indicate that both PjBL and PBL have a positive and significant effect on students' problem-solving abilities. In addition, learning motivation has also been shown to have an important role in strengthening the development of students' problem- solving abilities. These findings indicate that project-based and problem-based learning can improve students' skills in solving complex problems. Conclusion: The findings of this study provide evidence that Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning methods can be effective alternatives to improve students' problem-solving abilities. Learning motivation also plays a crucial role in supporting the learning process. Therefore, it is important for teachers to create a learning environment that can motivate students to be more active and participate. By combining these two methods, students are expected to develop critical and creative thinking skills, which are very much needed in facing challenges in the real world. Further research is needed to explore other factors that may affect students' problem-solving abilities, such as social and emotional factors. Keywords: PjBL, PBL, problem-solving ability, learning motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterampilan membaca dan menulis siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol di SMP Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 Cirebon sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode Tarkibiyah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis siswa SMP Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 Cirebon. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Keterampilan membaca siswa sebelum pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen dan control menujukkan hasil rata-rata 42,96 masuk kategori cukup. Keterampilan menulis pada sebelum pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen dan control  masuk kategori “kurang” dengan nilai rata-rata 37,78 (2) Keterampilan membaca siswa sesudah pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen dan control menunjukkan peningkatan hasil masuk kategori baik. Keterampilan menulis siswa sesudah pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan hasil dan masuk kategori baik. (3) Hasil nilai N-Gain (dalam persentase) pada keterampilan membaca dan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas eksperimen menunjukkan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Tarkibiyah “cukup efektif” dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan keterampilan menulis siswa. Dengan demikian, maka terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode Tarkibiyah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis siswa SMP Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 Cirebon.

Abstract

The urgency of this research stems from the strategic need to monitor and evaluate the achievements of digital training implemented by various academies under government coordination, including VSGA, FGA, DEA, TA, and GTA. In the context of the national digital transformation program, the availability of an analytical model that can predict the success of participants in completing training is critically crucial to support the achievement of the Ministry’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The purpose of this study is to develop a predictive model based on multivariate linear regression that combines two main variables, the percentage of participants accepted and the percentage of participants who participate in onboarding, to project the level of training completion. This model is expected to provide a quantitative and objective assessment of the effectiveness of digital training implementation in each academy. The targeted outputs of this study include the development of a predictive model with performance validation through the calculation of R², which yielded a value of 0.9448, as well as the provision of technical reports and data-driven recommendations for enhancing digital training governance. The Technology Readiness Level (TKT) of this study is at TKT 3, and there is evidence of conceptual validation of the predictive model based on real data collected from the implementation of the training. This stage marks the readiness of the research to continue developing the system model and implementing it on the training evaluation platform in the next stage.

Abstract

The three-phase current value of a synchronous motor has a great impact on its long-term reliability and performance under load. Therefore, maintenance and monitoring must be performed to determine the performance of synchronous motors. A virtual instrument and its LabView software can be used as a method to determine the operating current value of a synchronous motor. The device used in the study contains a synchronous motor as a load, and his LabView-equipped controller is used to execute commands during synchronous motor testing. NI MyDAQ is used as an input to the controller prior to using LabView, so it can be customized for use as an input to motors and controllers. Power is supplied by adjusting the motor input voltage to 380 volts and the controller input voltage to 220 volts. The purpose of the research is to develop tools and simulation software for synchronous motors that use voltage regulators to react to variations and determine minimum and maximum voltage values to determine motor performance. As a result of examination, the motor output reached a maximum current value of 0.4A at idle and a maximum controller current value.

Abstract

The population density in Jakarta can be seen from the number of people who are increasing every year and increasing the population density living in Jakarta. High urbanization affects the process of urban development, population development and the need for housing that requires a lot of land in the Jakarta area. The government and the private sector in dealing with these problems provide a decent place to live for the community by building vertical housing. Vertical development in the form of flats for residents is considered capable of increasing efficiency, effectiveness of space utilization and saving land so that land can be used for open space or other public spaces. In this study, the author tries to answer the problems regarding the identification of residential space patterns and the typology of flats in the three case studies. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method in which the author will describe and identify every aspect contained in this study based on the theoretical basis that was appointed as a guide. In this study, it was found that user activity in the flats resulted in groupings called zoning which included private, semi-private / semi-public, public, service areas, and circulation areas. Because the flat is a shared house in one building mass, the public zoning area tends to be larger and the residents gather in public areas that have been facilitated.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and identify various types of relational processes found in Sundanese. The analysis is conducted using the perspective of Functional Systemic Linguistics, with a special focus on the transitivity system in the Sundanese language structure. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this research is sourced from Mangle magazine. The data analysis technique involves classifying the clauses into attributive and identifying relational processes based on the transitivity system in Functional Systemic Linguistics. The results show that the texts in the Sundanese-language Mangle magazine contain typical Sundanese relational processes. The types of relational processes found are attributive and identifying relational processes. Each of these types is further divided into more specific categories: intensive, possessive, and circumstantial. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi berbagai jenis proses relasional yang terdapat dalam bahasa Sunda. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan perspektif Linguistik Sistemik Fungsional, dengan fokus khusus pada sistem transitivitas dalam struktur bahasa Sunda. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif.  Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini bersumber majalah Mangle. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasikan klausa-klausa ke dalam proses relasional atributif dan identifikatif berdasarkan perspektif sistem transitivitas dalam Linguistik Sistemik Fungsional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teks-teks dalam majalah Mangle berbahasa Sunda mengandung proses relasional khas bahasa Sunda. Jenis proses relasional yang ditemukan adalah proses relasional atributif dan proses relasional identifikatif. Masing-masing dari kedua jenis proses relasional tersebut selanjutnya terbagi lagi menjadi tipe-tipe yang lebih spesifik, seperti intensive, possessive, dan circumstantial.

Abstract

AbstrakKemampuan dasar numerik dan self confidence dalam mengoperasikan bilangan dengan penggunaan fungsi-fungsi hitung dasar memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kecepatan, kecermatan, dan penalaran untuk menyelesaikan soal matematika. Penelitian kuantitatif ini mengkaji kemampuan numerik dan self confidence peserta didik dengan mengimplemetasikan metode pembelajaran giving question and getting answer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket self confidence. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Manova. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan numerik antara peserta didik yang dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran giving question and getting answer dilihat dengan nilai p-value 0,000 kurang dari 0,05, terdapat peningkatan self confidence antara peserta didik yang dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran giving question and getting answer ditunjukkan dengan nilai p-value 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 dan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan numerik dan self confidence antara peserta didik yang dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran giving question and getting answer dilihat dengan nilai p-value 0,000 kurang dari 0,05.Kata Kunci: Metode Pembelajaran Giving Question and Getting Answer, Kemampuan Numerik, Self Confidence

Abstract

The role of correctional institutions is very important in carrying out services and fulfilling the rights of convicts, including in terms of fulfilling the right to special treatment for elderly convicts. The purpose of this research is to find out the fulfillment of the right to special treatment for elderly convicts in terms of safety and health protection at the Class II B State Detention Center in Takengon. This type of research is empirical juridical research using data sources in the form of primary data obtained from the field directly through interviews and secondary data obtained from primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, tertiary legal materials. The method of data collection was carried out by direct interviews with sources and document studies. The method of data analysis was analyzed qualitatively and presented in a descriptive manner, namely explaining, describing, and describing in accordance with the problems that are closely related to this research. II B Takengon, it has been implemented in accordance with the applicable regulations, namely Article 6 paragraph (1) and Article 7 paragraph (1) of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 32 of 2018 concerning Treatment of Elderly Detainees and Convicts.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas peran penting perguruan tinggi Islam dalam membentuk karakter dan integritas mahasiswa Muslim. Perguruan tinggi Islam memiliki potensi untuk tidak hanya mendidik individu tetapi juga mengubah masyarakat secara keseluruhan dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti integritas, kejujuran, dan empati pada siswa mereka. Melalui pendekatan holistik yang mencakup pengembangan moral dan etika, lembaga pendidikan tinggi Islam dapat membantu siswa menjadi agen perubahan positif di komunitas mereka. Dengan menekankan kejujuran, akuntabilitas, dan keadilan, perguruan tinggi Islam mempersiapkan lulusannya untuk membuat keputusan etis dalam kehidupan pribadi dan profesional mereka, serta mempromosikan budaya kejujuran dan keadilan di masyarakat. Selain itu, tulisan ini juga menyoroti pentingnya refleksi diri, kesadaran, dan pertanggungjawaban dalam membangun budaya integritas dan perilaku etis. Dengan memahami dampak faktor eksternal pada pengambilan keputusan individu, pendidikan tinggi Islam dapat membantu individu menavigasi dilema moral yang kompleks dan membentuk masyarakat yang lebih etis dan bertanggung jawab. Dalam tulisan ini, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan analisis teks untuk menyelidiki peran perguruan tinggi Islam dalam membentuk karakter dan integritas mahasiswa Muslim. Dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis informasi dari berbagai sumber teks yang relevan, penulis menyusun argumen dan pemikiran yang mendukung peran penting pendidikan tinggi Islam dalam pengembangan karakter dan integritas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali dan menguraikan peran perguruan tinggi Islam dalam membentuk karakter dan integritas mahasiswa Muslim. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perguruan tinggi Islam memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membentuk karakter dan integritas mahasiswa Muslim. Dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti integritas, kejujuran, dan empati pada siswa mereka, lembaga pendidikan tinggi Islam dapat membantu menciptakan individu yang berpengetahuan luas, berintegritas moral, dan siap menjadi agen perubahan positif di masyarakat.. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran perguruan tinggi Islam dalam membentuk karakter dan integritas mahasiswa Muslim untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih adil, harmonis, dan beretika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru. Sebagai fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan mendefinisikan kepemimpinan transformasional, mengidentifikasi kriteria utama dalam kepemimpinan transformasional, serta mengevaluasi bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan ini dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data didapat melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala madrasah, guru, dan staf tata usaha atau staf administratif di beberapa madrasah. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama yang berkaitan dengan kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Gaya kepemimpinan ini memiliki dimensi pengaruh ideal, motivasi inspirasional, stimulasi intelektual, dan pertimbangan individual. Kepala madrasah yang menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional cenderung mampu memberikan motivasi yang tinggi kepada guru, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, dapat memberikan inovasi dan kreativitas, serta memperhatikan kebutuhan individu guru. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terbukti efektif dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia dan meningkatkan kinerja organisasi madrasah secara keseluruhan.
