Abstract

This study aims to explore the enhancement of teachers' social competence through a collaborative-based teacher professional education program at UMS Rappang. Social competence plays a crucial role in fostering effective communication, building positive relationships, and creating a conducive learning environment. The collaborative approach in the program involves interaction among educators, experts, and stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices. The research adopts a qualitative methodology, analyzing data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the collaborative-based education model significantly improves teachers' interpersonal skills, adaptability, and professional relationships. These improvements ultimately contribute to a better teaching-learning process and professional growth. This study highlights the importance of collaboration in teacher training programs to develop comprehensive social competence.

Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential skill for teachers in the era of educational digitalization. The Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang (UMS Rappang) aims to enhance teachers' competencies by integrating educational technology into the curriculum. This study examines the implementation of educational technology in the PPG program and its impact on improving teachers' digital literacy. The findings indicate that the use of tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), video conferencing platforms, educational software, and AR/VR technologies significantly enhances participants' ability to utilize digital tools in teaching. Furthermore, strategies such as intensive training, digital evaluation, and collaborations with technology industries contribute to achieving program goals. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, digital competency gaps, and resistance to change require targeted solutions. This study underscores the importance of continuous evaluation and innovation to optimize the integration of educational technology and promote teachers' digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) in improving the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers in the digital era. With the rapid advancement of technology, demands for educational quality and teacher competence are increasing. The PPG program, as a means to enhance teacher quality in Indonesia, is expected to contribute significantly to the development of pedagogical competence and teacher professionalism in addressing the challenges of digital education. This research employs a quantitative survey approach involving teachers who have participated in the PPG program across several regions. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' pedagogical competence, including understanding technology-based learning approaches and managing digital classrooms. However, challenges remain in the application of technology in daily teaching, particularly regarding limited access and adequate training. In conclusion, the PPG program has proven effective in enhancing pedagogical and professional competence, though improvements in modules and intensive training are needed to meet the growing demands of digital learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between professional competence obtained through Teacher Professional Education (PPG) and the teaching readiness of teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Pangkajene Sidrap. The research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method to explore how the professional skills acquired from PPG influence teachers' preparedness in delivering lessons effectively. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, involving teachers who have completed the PPG program as participants. The findings reveal a significant correlation between professional competence and teaching readiness, indicating that the training provided in PPG equips teachers with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their classroom performance. The results of this research provide insights into the importance of professional development programs in improving the quality of education and contribute to strategies for optimizing teacher training initiatives.

Abstract

KKN means practicing knowledge received in college directly in the midst of society (Big Indonesian Dictionary). In the Mataram University KKN-Thematic activities carried out in Loyok Village, Sikur District, East Lombok Regency, the Mataram University KKN-Thematic group and Mataram University Lecturers carried out various activities with the main target of the activity namely developing the tourism potential of Loyok Village. The purpose of implementing the KKN-Thematic University of Mataram is to answer various problems that exist in the social community, including in agriculture, social affairs, education and tourism. Based on the survey results and discussions with village officials regarding the situation in Loyok Village, Mataram University KKN-Thematic Students designed various activities such as clearing signposts and maps of tourist destinations and making promotional videos. The results of the activities carried out during the KKN-Thematic work period at the University of Mataram are signposts and maps of tourist destinations that can help tourists find the location of Loyok Village as well as promotional videos for tourist villages that can introduce tourist destinations in Loyok Village. In addition, Mataram University KKN-T students are also involved in various other activities, namely socialization on prevention of early marriage, teaching at school, teaching the Koran, making compost, planting seeds, and clean Friday. The results of the activities carried out can improve good relations between the community and Mataram University KKN-Thematic Students.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of BAP concentrations on explant response and callus formation in Massoia. The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three BAP concentrations: 0.5 mg/L, 1.0 mg/L, and 1.5 mg/L, each with 24 replications. The culture medium used was Murashige and Skoog (MS), and observations were carried out for 7 days after planting. Parameters observed included the percentage of viable explants, browning, contamination, average callus formation, callus color, and texture. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that 0.5 mg/L BAP yielded the highest explant survival rate (54%), the lowest browning rate (13%), and 35% contamination. Meanwhile, 1.5 mg/L BAP produced the highest average callus formation (0.21) with compact texture and brown coloration. Although not statistically significant, BAP concentrations affected explant viability and callus formation. A concentration of 0.5 mg/L tended to be optimal for maintaining explant viability, while 1.5 mg/L was more effective in inducing callus. These findings provide a preliminary basis for optimizing Massoia tissue culture techniques.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk kesantunan dan bentuk nilai dalam pembelajaran di SMPN 1 Panca Rijang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskripsi kualitatif untuk mendeskrikan data berupa bentuk kesantunan dan bentuk nilai dalam pembelaran di SMPN 1 Panca Rijang. Populasi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 kelas pada kelas IX SMPN 1 Panca Rijang dan sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari kelas IX1-IX2. Yang Jumlah keseluruhan Siswanya 51. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, catat dan video, setelah itu di lanjutkan dengan menganalisis data yang ditemukan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data mengenai Bentuk kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi dari guru ke siswa yang berwujud tuturan deklaratif menaati maksim kearifan, pujian, dan kemufakatan; tuturan interogatif menaati maksim kearifan dan pujian; tuturan imperatif menaati maksim kearifan; tuturan ekslamatif menaati maksim kearifan.sedangkan Bentuk kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi dari siswa ke siswa yang berwujud tuturan deklaratif menaati maksim kearifan, kedermawanan, pemufakatan, dan simpati; tuturan interogatif menaati maksim kearifan dan simpati; tuturan imperatif menaati maksim kearifan; tuturan ekslamatif menaati maksim kearifan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh teori pengkajian puisi dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang. Populasi penelitian ini keseluruhan siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang yang berjumlah 148 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditarik sebesar 30% atau sebanyak 49 orang. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, dan teknik tes. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis kuantitatif meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguasaan teori pengkajian puisi dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang. Hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0.05. Hasil lain menunjukkan perbedaan nilai mean postest kelompok eksperimen nilai mean kelompok kontrol yaitu 84,84 > 74,91. Hal ini berarti ada perbedaan nilai mean hasil tes menulis puisi antara siswa yang menguasai teori pengkajian sastra dibandingkan hasil tes menulis puisi siswa yang tidak menguasai teori pengkajian sastra. Motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren DDI As-Salman Allakuang. Hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0.05. Hasil lain menunjukkan perbedaan nilai mean postest kelompok eksperimen nilai mean kelompok kontrol yaitu 86,73 > 75,73. Hal ini berarti ada perbedaan nilai mean hasil tes menulis puisi antara siswa yang motivasi belajarnya tinggi dibandingkan hasil tes menulis puisi siswa yang motivasi belajarnya rendah.

Abstract

Understanding expressive illocutionary speech increases the ability to feel and understand the feelings of others, helping to increase empathy and interpersonal support. Overall, a good understanding of expressive illocutionary speech is an important aspect in building effective communication skills and maintaining healthy social and emotional relationships. The importance of understanding expressive illocutionary speech lies in the ability to strengthen interpersonal relationships and prevent miscommunication. In this research, the researcher focuses on expressive illocutionary speech acts with the aim of: (1) Analyzing the function of expressive speech acts in the novel "Ayahku Bukan Pembohong" by Tere Liye, (2) Knowing the contribution of expressive speech act analysis to Indonesian language learning in high school. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data in the form of all character dialogue containing expressive forms of speech, collected using reading and note-taking techniques. From the results of data analysis, expressive speech forms were found with the function of praising, the function of complaining, the function of criticizing, the function of thanking, and the function of scolding.

Abstract

Abstract: There are a great number of academics that are now conducting research on sentiment analysis by employing supervised and machine learning techniques. The research can be carried out with the assistance of a variety of sources, including reviews of movies, reviews of Twitter, reviews of online products, blogs, discussion forums, and other social networks. With the progress of technology, individuals may now effortlessly utilize social media platforms to access and share information, as well as express their viewpoints to the general public, without any constraints of distance or time. Twitter is a social media network that serves as a repository for opinions. Diverse techniques are employed to provide optimal and realistically precise pressure detection. The analysis and discussion affirm that the Support Vector Machine (SVM) was effectively employed in this study, utilizing public opinion data on television program reviews in Indonesia. An SVM classifier is employed to examine the Twitter data set by utilizing various parameters. The study successfully completed the preprocessing process by collecting a total of 400 data points, consisting of 320 reviews from 4 television shows for training data and 80 reviews for testing. The data was filtered and classified using SVM, with 200 positive and 200 negative data points for comparison. The experiment utilized the SVM method using TF-IDF to achieve the most accurate test results. The test accuracy was 80%, while the training data accuracy reached 100%.            Keywords: Sentiment Analysis; Support Vector Machine; Television Shows Review, TF-IDF,  Abstrak: Saat ini, banyak akademisi sedang menyelidiki analisis sentimen melalui pemanfaatan teknik yang diawasi dan pembelajaran mesin. Kajian dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa sumber seperti review film, review Twitter, review produk online, blog, forum diskusi, atau jejaring sosial lainnya. Dengan kemajuan teknologi, masyarakat kini dapat dengan mudah memanfaatkan platform media sosial untuk mengakses dan berbagi informasi, serta menyampaikan pandangan mereka kepada masyarakat umum, tanpa batasan jarak dan waktu. Twitter adalah jaringan media sosial yang berfungsi sebagai gudang opini. Beragam teknik digunakan untuk menghasilkan deteksi tekanan yang optimal dan presisi secara realistis. Analisis dan pembahasan menegaskan bahwa Support Vector Machine (SVM) efektif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, memanfaatkan data opini publik tentang review program televisi di Indonesia. Pengklasifikasi SVM digunakan untuk memeriksa kumpulan data Twitter dengan memanfaatkan berbagai parameter. Penelitian berhasil menyelesaikan proses preprocessing dengan mengumpulkan total 400 titik data yang terdiri dari 320 review dari 4 acara televisi untuk data pelatihan dan 80 review untuk pengujian. Data disaring dan diklasifikasikan menggunakan SVM, dengan 200 titik data positif dan 200 titik data negatif sebagai perbandingan. Percobaan ini menggunakan metode SVM dengan menggunakan TF-IDF untuk mencapai hasil pengujian yang paling akurat.
