Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate presidential candidates’ ideologies and strategies of communication though the type of transitivity processes in their speech on the last presidential debate. The final debate of presidential candidates in 2024, all Candidates used languages to shape public opinion and persuade the audience. Critical discourse analysis (CDA) reveals hidden meanings or agenda of the candidates in debate. It examines how language supports power dynamics, social hierarchies, and ideologies. Those are expressed through text and speech in social and political contexts. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research began with the observation of the speeches of the candidates on an official video. Secondly, the data was subjected to a critical discourse analysis. This analysis was used to determine how the candidates presented themselves in terms of their different and common ideologies. The research findings revealed that six types of transitivity processes were found in the candidates’ speeches, with material processes dominating and then there was also a structural analysis that revealed that all candidates used different types of processes to display their respective leadership styles. Each Candidate’s reveals different ideologies, language patterns and political communication strategies that boosts persuasive and reveals the link between language, power, and ideology. It shows how all candidates create messages that resonate with voters, influencing public opinion and prompting action. Furthermore, the result of this research is to provide insight into the linguistic construction of political ideology and power in Indonesian politicaldiscourse.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of advertising, endorser credibility on purchase intention of e-commerce shopee where e-wom is an intervening variable. Based on previous research and associated with supporting theories put forward by experts using the SPSS program as a statistical data processing tool. This type of research is associative research. In this study, the researcher used a nonprobability sampling technique because the researcher did not know the total number of members of the population studied. The sample in this study was 100 samples.

Abstract

Nilai perusahaan merupakan cerminan usaha manajemen dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Dengan tingginya nilai perusahaan, maka dapat menarik minat investor untuk menanamkan dananya pada perusahaan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini pengaruh nilai perusahaan dilihat dari penghindaran pajak. Penghindaran pajak merupakan praktik yang sah dalam meminimalisir pembayaran pajak sepanjang memenuhi ketentuan perpajakan yang berlaku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan pengujian dan memberikan bukti empiris pengaruh variabel independen yaitu Penghindaran Pajak terhadap pengaruh dependen yaitu Nilai Perusahaan dengan Ukuran Perusahaan sebagai variabel kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penghindaran pajak tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

Bireuen District has significant potential in fisheries resources. However, the high potential of marine fisheries comes with various threats, such as overfishing and destructive fishing, which can disrupt the sustainability of marine ecosystems. The use of environmentally friendly fishing gear is a crucial aspect of sustainability. This study aims to identify environmentally friendly fishing technologies in Bireuen District. Data collection was conducted using a descriptive method with survey techniques, observations, and structured interviews with respondents. The sampling method employed purposive sampling, selecting respondents based on specific criteria or considerations relevant to the research objectives, with a total of 50 respondents directly involved in capture fisheries in Bireuen District. Data analysis was carried out using a scoring analysis based on nine criteria for environmentally friendly fishing gear, following the guidelines of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries.The results of the study indicate that fishing gears with very environmentally friendly technology include purse seines, trolling lines, set longlines, pots, and gillnets. Abstract

In 2024, halal certification for business actors will become mandatory based on Law No. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantees, which is also enhanced by Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. However, in practice, there are several obstacles faced by MSMEs in carrying out these obligations, such as; costs, access to information and knowledge for MSMEs, and the process of digitizing halal certification which MSME players do not easily understand. Therefore, this program aims to assist MSMEs in processing halal certification. The target in this first stage is five MSMEs in Bogor City/Regency, which will involve IAI Tazkia students as the accompanying team. The service method used in this community service program is service learning.

Abstract

The rapid growth of information and technology recently brings new opportunities in business operational. An optimal used of resources may leads into business efficiency and therefore minimizing operational cost. Moreover, new opportunities are also revealed by creating more innovations in business. Metaverse gain its popular name firstly in public awareness in October 2021, when Facebook, Inc. renamed it "Meta" and announced a multi-billion-dollar investment in Metaverse technology. In Indonesia, the concept of big data and metaverse technology is still growing and keep attracting attention of many researchers, academics, and business practitioners. Besides the promised opportunities, these technologies are facing several obstacles in adoption. Lack of available talents and infrastructure still two dominant topics to be discussed. Fortunately, Indonesian government shows a serious effort on pursuing a better infrastructure and available talents through providing supports and quality training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan sosial anak melalui Ekstrakurikuler Tapak Suci di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal 06 Surabaya. Penelitian dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian adalah anak-anak TK Aisyiyah 06 Surabaya dan guru kelas. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi Teknik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penelitian yang telah dilakukan di TK Aisyiyah 06 Surabaya mengenai ekstrakurikuler tapak suci yang telah di amati dan di emplementasikan oleh peneliti dapat menghasilakan adanya peningkatatan kemampuan sosial anak dengan adanya ekstrakurikuler tapak suci dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sosial anak. Tapak suci juga merupakan salah satu ekstrakurikuler yang di emplementasikan oleh peneliti sebagai salah satu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler guna meningkatkan kemampuan sosial anak di TK Aisyiyah 06 Surabaya tersebut. This study aimed to determine the social abilities of children through the Tapak Suci extracurricular at Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Kindergarten 06 Surabaya. This final project research used a qualitative method with the children at Aisyiyah Kindergarten 06 Surabaya and their classroom teachers as the subject. The data collection was by observation, documentation, and interviews. The data validity was examined by source and technique triangulation. The research resulted in an increase in childrens social abilities with the presence of the Tapak Suci extracurricular that can improve childrens social skills. Tapak Suci is one of the extracurricular activities was implemented by researchers to increase childrens social ability at TK Aisyiyah 06 Surabaya.

Abstract

Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems of halal tourism development especially tourism village in Riau Province, Indonesia along with the solutions, potentials and also the best strategy to use. Method : The research method used in this study is Analytic Network Process (ANP). Informants are experts in the field of halal tourism. This study involves 5 (five) informants consisting of regulators, academia, and practitioner. Finding : The results showthat the main potential that will be increase in halal tourism Dayun tourism village is creative economic sector, while the main problem is the lack of innovation. In terms of solutions, the lokal tourism regulation provided by the government is themain solution to enchance lokal halal tourism And the first strategy is to be need competitive human resources. From these results, the government can consider to improve human resources skill in every region of tourism so there will be competitive human resources in order to developing sustainable halal tourism

Abstract

This research aims to analyse metaphors which appear from Amanda Maclean as main character in The End of Men Novel. Metaphors that used in the work as representation of chaos condition because of Pandemic was happening in the story. Theory which used in this research from George Lakoff. He gives understanding that metaphor is not just as stylistic in the linguistic’s concept but it reflects thoughts and experiences of characters. He argues that metaphor divided into three type, they are structural metaphor, orientational metaphor and ontological metaphor. This is qualitative descriptive research, means each data would be described deeply. The data source from a novel titled The End of Men by Christina Sweeney-Baird. Data are taken from words, sentences and quotations from the novel. This research focus to analyse metaphors that appear in the work and describe them with Lakoff theory. Research question in this research is what are kinds of metaphor that used in the novel ? The result of this study, there are two kind of metaphor appear in the novel, the are structural and ontological metaphor. Second, the meaning of structural type show that characters in the novel present another terms to communicate their purpose and condition. In other hand, ontological metaphor gives understanding about abstract of mind.
