Abstract

Seiring dengan pertumbuhan penduduk dengan meningkatnya pemenuhan kebutuhannya, maka kompleksitas pembangunan dengan berbagai permasalahannya juga semakin meningkat. Dalam penyelenggaraan pembangunan tersebut peranan data/ informasi sangat penting dan akan menentukan keberhasilannya. Berdasarkan penelitian, bahwa 80% informasi yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan pembangunan dalam satu wilayah selalu berhubungan dengan data spasial atau komponen geografis. Komponen geografis atau informasi geospasial dalam satu wilayah dapat disusun dalam satu basis data yang terdiri dari berbagai lapisan data. Basis data tersebut mampu menggambarkan karakteristik wilayah tersebut, baik gambaran unsur-unsur fisik (alam) maupun non fisik (deskriptif). Berdasarkan kemajuan teknologi geospasial dalam era digital yang semakin maju, dapat dibuat satu sistem basis data kewilayahan secara komprehensif dan terpadu. Sistem basis data tersebut selanjutnya berfungsi sebagai dasar untuk membuat berbagai skenario pembangunan dan sebagai alat bagi pengambilan kebijakan dalam penyelenggaraan pembangunan. Dalam konteks satuan wilayah desa, maka berdasarkan aspek geospasial dengan kemajuan teknologi digitalnya sekarang ini mampu mempercepat proses pembangunan dan sekaligus memberdayakan desa tersebut sesuai dengan karakteristiknya.

Abstract

Improving health services to the community is the responsibility of all health facilities throughout Indonesia. One aspect that health facilities must pay attention to is being able to provide sustainable health services by looking at the diagnosis history and drug therapy that has been given to patients. This requires a tool to be able to view the history. However, in conditions where patients receive health services at different clinics or hospitals, problems arise, such as (1) Doctors cannot see the history of diagnosis and drug therapy at other health facilities, (2) Errors may occur in the next disease assessment, (3) and medically psychologically it can hinder doctors in making a diagnosis because sometimes the information from the patient is incomplete or does not meet the elements of truth. Hospital Management Information Systems usually only record the history of services, diagnoses, medical procedures, drug therapy given at the hospital. To find out the history of patients at other hospitals, SIMRS needs to bridge with systems outside it. Namely the BPJS Information system. The BPJS system has provided a service that can be used by Health Facilities to view patient history at other health facilities that the patient has visited. The system is named Icare BPJS. By connecting the Hospital SIM with the Icare BPJS SIM, it is hoped that it will be able to provide continuous health services to patients and minimize errors in determining diagnoses, drugs to be given and other medical procedures.

Abstract

Utilization of Information Technology can assist clinics in improving the quality of service to patients. Friends of the clinic is an obgyn clinic in the city of Padang and is one of the clinics that has many patient visits. So far, the queuing system for patient registration at the clinic has used technology such as WhatsApp, but with this method there are several obstacles, such as (1) having to involve clinic staff to register patients to get a queue, (2) patients piling up in the waiting room to wait for services, (3) and psychologically has the potential to increase the patient's illness because of the long waiting time. This running queuing system is considered inefficient, so innovation is needed to create queuing applications that can be used by patients independently without involving clinic staff, view doctor's schedules in real time and get queue numbers automatically and queue status can be monitored by patients. With this clinic queuing system, patients will come to the clinic when they are close to the queue number they have, get service without having to queue in waiting in the clinic waiting room. By using the queuing method that is designed, it is expected that speed, accuracy, integration, service improvement, and efficiency of service to patients can be further improved.

Abstract

This research describes factors causing many students in an EFL classroom struggle with speaking due to reticence, which significantly impacts their language learning and academic achievement. This study aims to identify and describe the factors causing students' reticence and propose possible strategies to cope with students' reticence in speaking classes in the English Education Department. It applied a descriptive qualitative approach, chosen specifically to offer a straightforward description of the phenomenon of the research. Data collection for this study was carried out using observation and interviews. This study involved 13 students as the sample of reticence students. The results revealed nine (9) key factors causing students' reticence in speaking classes. These include anxiety, personality (introverted), lack of confidence, lack of motivation, and low English proficiency. Additionally, fear of negative evaluation, unwillingness to participate, comparison with peers, and uncomfortable classroom atmosphere were identified as significant contributors to students' reluctance to engage in speaking activities. The findings also comprise the strategies to cope with students’ reticence in speaking classes involved classroom arrangements which refers to students’ seating position that makes students participate more and enjoy the class with their peers and using an appropriate teaching method.

Abstract

In May 2022, it has received by WHO reports from non-endemic countries on cases of monkey pox disease. Monkey pox is a rare zoonotic disease caused by infection with the monkeypox virus that belongs to the genus orthopoxvirus and the family poxviridae, and also the variola virus. This study aims to classify patients who have contracted the monkey pox virus. We modeled an analysis of monkey pox disease and conducted comparisons utilizing a dataset from Kaggle consisting of a CSV file with records for 25,000 patients. The monkey pox dataset was analyzed using the correlation coefficient and the number of target variables. Machine learning (ML) methods are used for classification by utilizing the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF), and Gradient Boosting (GB) algorithms. This study resulted in the highest classifier Gradient Boosting (GB) algorithm with an accuracy value of 71%. then the accuracy obtained by Support Vector Machine (SVM) is 69%, Random Forest (RF) accuracy is 68%, and finally K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) obtains 63% accuracy. This ML method is expected to analyze monkey pox disease so that it helps the country and government, especially the health field in assessing, identifying, and being able to take appropriate action against monkey pox disease.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of digital marketing and social media on the creativity of products and the empowerment of culinary groups of women in Bojong Kulur village, Bogor. It also aimed to identify the most important factor in increasing product creativity and culinary group empowerment. A total of 180 respondents were purposefully selected from April to August 2023. Purposive sampling was used to collect questionnaires from producers and consumers. Descriptive statistical analysis using SPSS version 22 was used to analyze the data.The research results showed that digital marketing and social media have a significant impact on creativity empowerment. The study found that the significance value (Sig) of digital marketing strategy (X1) on creativity empowerment (Y) is 0.000, which is less than the significance level of 0.05. This means that there is a statistically significant relationship between digital marketing strategy and creativity empowerment. The study also found that the significance value (Sig) of the effectiveness of using social media (X2) on creativity empowerment (Y) is 0.001, which is also less than the significance level of 0.05. This means that there is a statistically significant relationship between the effectiveness of using social media and creativity empowerment. Based on these findings, the study concluded that digital marketing and social media have a simultaneous effect on creativity empowerment. This means that both digital marketing and social media can independently and jointly influence creativity empowerment.

Abstract

Anak kecil terlindungi dengan vaksinasi. Vaksinasi adalah upaya memberikan kekebalan pada bayi dan anak dengan cara menyuntikkan vaksin ke dalam tubuh yang menghasilkan antibodi yang mencegah penyakit tertentu. Tindakan vaksinasi merupakan cara yang paling hemat biaya untuk mengurangi angka kematian akibat penyakit yang dapat dicegah dengan vaksin, dan vaksinasi diharapkan dapat mengurangi angka kematian pada bayi dan anak kecil. Secara umum tujuan dari kegiatan program kerja ini adalah : Memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat desa tebat monok khususnya kepada para ibu mengenai pentingnya imunisasi pada bayi dan balita agar bayi dan balita tetap dapat hidup sehat. Maksud dari program kerja ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat desa tebat monok khususnya kepada para ibu mengenai pentingnya melakukan imunisasi yang lengkap secara rutin pada anak sejak mereka bayi. Pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian Masyarakat bidang Keilmuan dilaksanakan di Desa Tebat Monok Kabupaten Kepahiang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas keterampilan passing dalam olahraga futsal melalui latihan permainan 1 dan 2. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan (action research) dengan melibatkan 17 siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler futsal sebagai sampel. Tes passing dilakukan sebelum tindakan (pre-test) dan pada setiap akhir siklus untuk mengukur perkembangan kemampuan passing. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa hanya 41,1% dari pemain yang mencapai ketuntasan, sementara 58,9% belum tuntas. Setelah penerapan latihan permainan 1 dan 2 pada siklus pertama, persentase ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 52,9%. Pada siklus kedua, seluruh pemain mencapai ketuntasan dengan persentase 100%, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 47,1% dibandingkan siklus pertama. Refleksi dari siklus pertama menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan passing pemain meningkat, mereka lebih aktif mencoba, dan lebih percaya diri. Siklus kedua memperlihatkan efektivitas yang lebih tinggi dari latihan ini, dengan seluruh pemain mencapai ketuntasan. Kesimpulannya, latihan passing dengan metode permainan 1 dan 2 terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan passing pemain futsal. Rekomendasi diberikan kepada pelatih dan pemain futsal untuk mengimplementasikan metode latihan ini guna mencapai hasil yang lebih baik dalam keterampilan passing. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teknik dasar futsal yang lebih baik melalui latihan yang terprogram dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Social innovation tactics have emerged as one of the most relevant approaches to addressing various social and economic challenges in Indonesia. Given the country's complex social and economic diversity, this approach offers solutions that focus on creativity and community engagement to create significant change. This study aims to examine various social innovation tactics that have been implemented in Indonesia, evaluate their effectiveness, and provide recommendations for more effective development and implementation of social innovation in the future. This study employs a qualitative research approach with a literature review method. Data were collected from Google Scholar with publication dates ranging from 2018 to 2024. The findings indicate that social innovation has substantial potential to make a significant positive impact, as evidenced by various programs analyzed in the literature. Programs such as PKH, Ruangguru, Kiva Indonesia, and Sahabat Alam demonstrate how creative and community-based approaches can address multidimensional issues like poverty, educational inequality, and climate change. This approach also highlights the importance of collaboration between the government, private sector, and civil society in creating sustainable and effective solutions.

Abstract

In today's dynamic global economy, organizations face increasing challenges in managing risk amidst market uncertainty. This paper addresses a gap in current research by focusing on innovative risk management strategies designed to effectively address these uncertainties. Using a qualitative research approach, this study investigates how organizations identify, assess, and mitigate risk through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis. The novelty lies in exploring the integration of traditional risk management frameworks with emerging qualitative methodologies to improve decision making and resilience. By leveraging qualitative insights, this research aims to uncover various risk factors that are often overlooked by quantitative approaches, thereby offering a comprehensive understanding of risk dynamics in complex global markets. This study contributes to advancing theoretical frameworks and practical applications in risk management, empowering organizations to proactively adapt and thrive in turbulent environments. Based on the evaluation that has been carried out, it can be stated that risk management plays a crucial role in influencing company performance. Risk management not only functions to manage company resources with efficiency, but also to optimize the results obtained so that the company can achieve the financial goals that have been set.
