Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee career development strategies based on gamification and microlearning and their impact on human resource (HR) retention and performance. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method, using descriptive analysis of literature obtained from Google Scholar and credible websites between 1964 and 2025. Initially, 50 articles were collected, then rigorously screened to obtain 24 relevant articles for analysis. The review findings indicate that gamification enhances motivation, engagement, and enjoyable learning experiences, while microlearning facilitates short, focused, and applicable learning. The integration of both creates adaptive and personalized career development experiences, contributing to improved employee retention and HR performance. This study provides practical implications for organizations in designing technology-based career development strategies while reinforcing the theoretical foundations of Human Capital and Self-Determination Theory in the context of modern HR development.

Abstract

-Upon closer observation, the rapid population growth in the Malang region is not solely due to birth rates but also urbanization factors. Urbanization, as agreed upon by experts, is one way to alter one's status. This is because the trade exchange value of the rural agricultural sector, including wage levels for minimally land-owning farm laborers, is far lower than in urban areas. The density of urban populations is further evident due to the influx of migrant workers employed across various sectors. These migrant workers typically originate from villages surrounding the city. Migrant workers or "metu" workers (a term for migrant workers in Patokpicis Village, Wajak, Malang) will be examined in this research, particularly concerning social changes in Patokpicis. Jika diamati lebih jauh, pertumbuhan penduduk di wilayah Malang tidak hanya disebabkan oleh kelahiran, tetapi juga oleh faktor urbanisasi. Urbanisasi, sebagaimana disepakati oleh para ahli, merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengubah status. Hal ini terjadi karena nilai tukar dagang di sektor pertanian pedesaan, termasuk tingkat upah bagi buruh tani yang memiliki lahan minimal, jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan di kota. Kepadatan penduduk di kota semakin terlihat karena banyaknya pekerja migran yang bekerja di berbagai sektor pekerjaan. Pekerja migran ini umumnya berasal dari desa-desa sekitar kota. Pekerja migran atau pekerja metu (sebutan untuk pekerja migran di Desa Patokpicis, Wajak, Malang) akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan perubahan sosial di Patokpicis.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the moderating role of gender diversity in the relationship between green innovation, carbon emission disclosure (CED), and financial performance. A quantitative approach was applied using secondary data from financial and sustainability reports of high-profile and low-profile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2023–2024. From a population of 738 firms, 177 were selected through purposive sampling, yielding 354 observations. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with WarpPLS 7.0. The results reveal that green innovation and CED have a positive and significant effect on financial performance, reflected in improved cost efficiency, reputation, sustainable financing access, and stakeholder trust. Furthermore, gender diversity strengthens the impact of green innovation and CED on profitability and corporate legitimacy. These findings highlight the importance of integrating sustainability strategies with balanced gender representation on boards to enhance financial performance and ensure long-term corporate sustainability. Practically, the study suggests that companies should reinforce green innovation, environmental disclosure, and gender diversity as synergistic strategies to achieve optimal performance.

Abstract

The important role of MSMEs in the economy cannot be ignored, as they create jobs and contribute to economic growth significantly. However, in the midst of increasingly fierce competition in the era of globalisation and information technology, MSMEs face various challenges to maintain and develop their businesses. This study aims to examine the role of education and training as a means of developing the skills of MSMEs. This research is a literature review using a qualitative approach, which implies that data will be analysed and interpreted with reference to information and texts obtained from various sources. The results of this study show that education and training play a very important role in developing the skills and competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs play a strategic role in a country's economy, but they often face constraints such as limited knowledge, skills, capital and market access. Education and training provide key benefits in improving the competencies, skills, and knowledge needed by MSMEs to run their businesses more efficiently, optimise operations, and make smarter decisions. In addition, education and training also help MSMEs to innovate, adapt to market and technological changes, and understand regulatory aspects of business.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key indicator of organizational success, especially in cooperative institutions, and one of the determining factors believed to influence performance is work motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance at Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia (KPRI) Karya Dharma Paiton. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, where primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to all cooperative employees (total sampling). The research instrument was validated through validity and reliability tests and then analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS software. The results show that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.487 and a significance value of 0.000. This means that the higher the employee’s motivation, the better the performance produced. These findings support Herzberg’s and Maslow’s theories and strengthen previous research, which confirms that both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation consistently play important roles in performance improvement. The study concludes that KPRI Karya Dharma management should place greater emphasis on work motivation strategies to enhance productivity and sustainable performance. The study recommends that the cooperative develop incentive systems, training programs, and employee involvement in decision-making. The limitation of this research lies in its narrow scope, suggesting that future studies expand the coverage and apply mixed-method approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the media relations strategy implemented in handling the crisis arising from a car tire theft incident at a Central Jakarta mall. The case drew significant public attention because it raised security concerns that affected the mall’s image as a safe and comfortable public space. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method, supported by in-depth interviews and content analysis of media coverage related to the incident. The findings reveal that the company’s media relations strategy consisted of two main stages: first, delivering fast and transparent communication to ease public concerns; and second, reinforcing a positive image by distributing press releases through conventional media, particularly in the Central Jakarta area. The study concludes that the effectiveness of media relations in crisis management relies on the speed, transparency, and consistency of the messages conveyed, as well as the role of the media as a mediator shaping public perception. The study recommends the establishment of a proactive media relations team and the strengthening of collaboration with media outlets to minimize the impact of crises on the organization’s reputation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi media relation yang diterapkan dalam penanganan krisis pada kasus pencurian ban mobil di Mal Jakarta Pusat. Peristiwa ini menarik perhatian publik karena melibatkan isu keamanan yang berdampak pada citra mal sebagai tempat umum yang aman dan nyaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam. Data juga diperoleh melalui analisis konten dari pemberitaan media massa terkait insiden tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi media relation yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan melibatkan dua tahap utama: pertama, komunikasi cepat dan transparan untuk meredakan kekhawatiran publik, dan kedua, penguatan citra positif dengan penyebaran press release pada media konvensional terutama di daerah Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas strategi media relation dalam penanganan krisis bergantung pada kecepatan, keterbukaan, dan konsistensi pesan yang disampaikan, serta peran media sebagai mediator yang mempengaruhi persepsi publik. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya tim media relation yang proaktif dan penguatan kerjasama dengan media untuk mengurangi dampak krisis terhadap reputasi organisasi.

Abstract

Posyandu (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu) merupakan salah satu ujung tombak pelayanan kesehatan dasar di masyarakat, terutama di daerah pedesaan seperti Nagari Sungai Pinang. Meskipun memiliki peran yang penting, kegiatan pencatatan data kesehatan di Posyandu umumnya masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku catatan atau formulir kertas. Hal ini menyebabkan proses pencatatan, pelaporan, dan analisis data menjadi lambat, rentan terhadap kesalahan, serta sulit untuk dilacak. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader Posyandu dengan memberikan pelatihan tentang pembuatan dan penggunaan aplikasi skrining kesehatan berbasis Android. Aplikasi ini dirancang dengan tampilan yang sederhana dan ramah pengguna, sehingga mudah digunakan oleh kader Posyandu dalam mencatat data kesehatan balita dan ibu hamil, melakukan skrining kesehatan, dan menghasilkan laporan secara otomatis. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dalam empat tahap: analisis kebutuhan, perancangan aplikasi, pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi, dan evaluasi pasca-pelatihan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 kader Posyandu di Nagari Sungai Pinang, dan aplikasi yang dilatih memiliki fitur untuk input data balita dan ibu hamil, serta indikator status gizi dan kehamilan. Selain itu, aplikasi juga memiliki notifikasi otomatis jika ada data yang tidak sesuai dengan standar kesehatan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 85% peserta merasa aplikasi sangat membantu dalam mempercepat proses pencatatan, dengan peningkatan akurasi data sebesar 40%. Meskipun ada tantangan teknis, aplikasi offline terbukti sangat berguna. Diharapkan, pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

The use of Information Technology can help hospitals improve the quality of patient care and control drug bills to BPJS. RSKB Ropanasuri is a specialized surgical hospital in Padang and is one of the hospitals with many patient visits. Currently, the drug billing system that is not included in the BPJS patient service package has been implemented using the online pharmacy information system provided by BPJS. However, with this method there are several obstacles, such as (1) having to enter drug data repeatedly (2) requiring a long time in the drug data entry process, (3) and the potential for lost drug claims and losses to the hospital because it is not controlled by an integrated information system. This current work system is considered inefficient, so innovation is needed to create a SIMRS application that has a bridging pharmacy module with the BPJS pharmacy application that can be used by pharmacists in real time, so that the work of drug claims to BPJS is not repeated. With the existence of a pharmacy work module like this, it is hoped that it can improve the efficiency of the pharmacy department's work, speed, accuracy, integration, and efficiency of drug claims to BPJS can be managed well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kualitas, motivasi karir, dan motivasi ekonomi terhadap minat mahasiswa mengikuti pendidikan profesi akuntansi. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 55 responden atau mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Prodi Akuntansi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, bahwa motivasi kualitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa mengikuti pendidikan profesi akuntansi. Sedangkan motivasi karir tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa mengikuti pendidikan profesi akuntansi dan motivasi ekonomi tidak berpengaruh signifikan tehadap minat mahasiswa mengikuti pendidikan profesi akuntansi. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Kualitas, Motivasi Karir, Motivasi Ekonomi dan Minat Mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of TikTok content from the account @ashleywrobz in shaping expectations about romantic relationships, particularly among the younger generation. The expectations discussed are based on the uses and gratifications theory, which explains the motivation and gratification of media users, as well as the interpersonal communication elements by Joseph Devito, namely openness, empathy, supportiveness, positivity, and equality. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore users’ perceptions and experiences related to the content. The findings indicate that TikTok content from @ashleywrobz significantly shapes positive expectations, especially in terms of openness and supportiveness in romantic relationships. However, the expectations formed are often excessive and unrealistic, potentially leading to conflicts or disappointment. This study provides insights into the role of social media as a shaper of romantic expectations while emphasizing the importance of digital literacy to understand and align expectations with reality. Recommendations are offered to individuals, couples, and academics to enhance healthy interpersonal communication and adopt a critical perspective toward digital content. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran konten TikTok dari akun @ashleywrobz dalam membentuk ekspektasi pada hubungan berpacaran, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Ekspektasi yang dibahas meliputi teori uses and gratifications, yang menjelaskan motivasi dan gratifikasi pengguna media, serta elemen komunikasi interpersonal dari Joseph Devito, yaitu keterbukaan, empati, dukungan, rasa positif, dan kesetaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk menggali persepsi dan pengalaman pengguna terkait konten tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konten TikTok @ashleywrobz secara signifikan mampu membentuk ekspektasi positif, terutama pada aspek keterbukaan dan dukungan dalam hubungan berpacaran. Namun, ekspektasi yang terbentuk sering kali berlebihan dan tidak sesuai dengan realitas hubungan, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan konflik atau kekecewaan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai peran media sosial sebagai pembentuk ekspektasi romantis, sekaligus menekankan pentingnya literasi digital untuk memahami dan menyesuaikan ekspektasi dengan realitas. Saran diberikan kepada individu, pasangan, dan akademisi untuk memperkuat komunikasi interpersonal yang sehat serta bersikap kritis terhadap konten digital.
