Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the application of the cooperative learning model type The Power of Two on global warming material on the cognitive competence of class VII students of SMPN 1 South Solok. This research was a Quasi Experiment type with a randomized control group posttest only design. In taking the sample used cluster random sampling. And the science learning achievement test sheet is an instrument in this study. In this study, the t test was used as a tool in analyzing the test results at a significant level of 0.05. Thus obtained tcount 3.80> t table 1.68. This proves that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive effect of the application of the cooperative learning model type The Power of Two on the cognitive competence of class VII students of SMPN 1 South Solok. Based on this, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model The Power of Two type on cognitive competence in science lessons shows a positive impact.

Abstract

The teacher is a factor that can directly influence quality improvement in improving the quality of education and students' critical thinking skills. Teachers are responsible for encouraging and guiding students to become proficient in active critical thinking and enjoy learning. The teacher is also responsible for all things in the class and provides assistance such as supporting the stages so that students can develop. A process so that teaching and learning activities in the classroom turn interactive and achieve the objectives of the teaching and learning activities is to use a learning model. An example of a learning model in order to improve students' critical thinking skills is a problem-based learning model. This research methodology is based on seven steps of literature search: determining the purpose of writing, selecting database sources, selecting keywords at the stage of searching a database, carrying out the stages of searching for literature, and determining the inclusion criteria for the articles used. selected according to inclusion characteristics and synthesis results in 20 national and international journals. The purpose of this study was to test the effect of the problem-based learning model (PBL) assisted by worksheets on students' thinking skills. The results of the study found that the problem-based learning model supported by LKPD was effective in increasing students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The objective of this writing audit is to look at different pieces of writing about how project-based learning can help students think more creatively and critically. The survey on writing found that project-based learning can help students think more critically and creatively. For research, a narrative review design is used in a literature review. Over the course of five years, 19 scientific articles from national and international journals were used in this study. Reliable sources, the quality of the research process, the quality of delivering information, and the completeness of the information are some of the validation criteria for scientific articles. Simplifying, displaying, drawing conclusions, and verifying data are all part of the qualitative analysis model of Miles and Huberman's method for presenting tabular data. The writing survey uncovers that project-based learning strategies can upgrade understudies' basic and imaginative reasoning abilities in science acquiring. The syntax of the project-based learning method be able to assist students in optimizing their creative and critical mindsets by starting learning with essential questions, working together to plan, developing project completion schedules, timelines, and deadlines

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui kebutuhan LKPD berbasis pendekatan inkuiri terhadap pengetahuan peserta didik pada materi Animalia. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu satu orang guru biologi yang mengajar kelas X dan 33 orang peserta didik di SMAN 1 VII Koto Sungai Sarik. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) Pada materi Animalia, guru sudah menggunakan LKPD tetapi belum maksimal, (2) Materi Animalia sebagai materi yang memiliki materi yang kompleks untuk dipelajari lebih lanjut, (3) Peserta didik memiliki pengetahuan terhadap materi Animalia, dan (4) Pengetahuan peserta didik dalam mempelajari materi Animalia semakin bertambah sesuai dengan kemampuan peserta didik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu LKPD berbasis pendekatan inkuiri pada materi Animalia dibutuhkan untuk memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran serta dapat mengasah keterampilan ilmiah peserta didik.

Abstract

Pendekatan ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran menekankan pada keaktifan peserta didik dalam penyelidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi sistem sirkulasi yang valid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R & D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kualitatif dalam bentuk deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh rata-rata hasil validitas 93,2% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Uji praktikalitas oleh guru memiliki hasil 92,6% dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik memiliki hasil 93% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi sistem sirkulasi untuk peserta didik kelas XI SMA memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dan sangat praktis sehingga dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran biologi.

Abstract

Inovasi dalam media pembelajaran pada kegiatan pembelajaran salah satunya adalah booklet. Media booklet berisi informasi dengan pembahasan topik tertentu didalamnya. Dalam proses pembelajaran ada beberapa materi yang sulit dipahami oleh peserta didik sehingga adanya media booklet dapat memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Media booklet ini dapat digunakan peserta didik secara mandiri serta penerapannya diharapkan dapat membantu dalam memahami materi pembelajaran yaitu fungi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keabsahan booklet pada materi fungi sebagai tambahan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta- analisis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengkaji dan menganalisis jurnal- jurnal yang berhubungan dengan booklet. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 15 jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan booklet. Hasil meta-analisis penelitian adalah untuk media pembelajaran berupa booklet didapatkan sebesar 88,01% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dengan itu, dari hasil meta-analisis penelitian ini diharapkan validitas Booklet pada Materi Fungi untuk Peserta Didik Kelas X MA diperoleh kriteria sangat valid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui etnobotani pada prosesi mao kayi masyarakat desa pendung hilir Kabupaten Kerinci. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan metode eksploratif. Sumber data berasal dari masyarakat Desa pendung Hilir yang dipilih secara purposive sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi lapangan dan wawancara terstruktur. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 14 Spesies dan 14 famili tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam proses mao kayi masyarakat Desa Pendung Hilir. Upacara mao kayi dalam masyarakat desa pendung hilir terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan memanfaatkan 4 jenis tanaman yang terdiri dari Sirih (Piper betle), Kemenyan (Styrax benzoin Dryand), Pinang ( Areca catechu) dan gambir (Uncaria), Tahap memandikan bayi ke sungai atau sumur memanfaatkan 7 jenis tanaman berupa Bunga kembang sepatu ( Hibiscus rosa-sinensis), Rumput teki (Cyperus rotundus), Bunga Pagoda (Cleianthus coccineus Lour), Bunga Kertas (Bougainvillea glabra), Bunga Mawar ( Rosa sp.), Andong (Cordyline fructosa) dan Bunga Kamboja (Plumeria) dan tahap setelah memandikan memanfaatkan 3 jenis tanaman kunyit ( Cucurma domestica), Melati ( Jasmimum sambac) dan Kenanga (Cananga odorata).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of blended learning in the biology subject at State Senior High School 1 in Jambi City, considering various aspects such as context, input, process, and product, as well as analyzing the inhibiting factors of blended learning implementation in the biology subject. This study used a descriptive evaluation research method, utilizing the CIPP evaluation model, and was conducted at State Senior High School 1 in Jambi City. The data was collected through questionnaires and interviews and analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The evaluation results of the context, input, process, and product aspects showed that the implementation of blended learning in the biology subject at State Senior High School 1 in Jambi City has been quite successful and has achieved the objectives of blended learning, which are to accommodate the needs of both students and teachers to achieve all aspects of biology learning competencies. However, inhibiting factors of the blended learning implementation model were identified, including communication technology, such as unstable internet networks, discomfort in interpersonal communication between students and teachers, lack of understanding among students of digital media communication culture, levels of stress and decreased learning motivation, non-conducive learning environment, and low commitment and empathy from teachers.

Abstract

The Merdeka curriculum prioritizes the development of the character profile of Pancasila students through content on learning such as having noble character, piety, critical thinking, working together, and being creative. Based on the observation results, information was obtained that the students' spiritual and emotional abilities needed to be supported through learning biology on viruses. The learning media used before had never contained ESQ nuances in learning media to improve students' spiritual and emotional abilities in the learning process. Students revealed that the existing learning media were less attractive and less motivating to learn and learning media such as printed books, LKPD, and LKS were difficult to carry anywhere, expensive, and easily damaged. So based on these problems, an ESQ nuanced e-booklet was developed on virus material for class X SMA/MA to optimize students' spiritual and emotional abilities. This research uses the 4-D (Four-D) development model consisting of four stages, namely the definition, design, development, and deployment stages, but in the implementation of this research using the Four-D stage only up to the development stage and does not reach the deployment stage because of time constraints and lack of cost in deploying the product commercially. The data in this study were obtained quantitatively descriptive and qualitative. Validation of the e-booklet product was carried out by three validators and practicality tests were carried out on one biology teacher and 35 students of class X MIPA at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The average value obtained from the validity of the e-booklet is 87.22% with very valid criteria. The average value of the e-booklet practicality test is 94.62% with very practical criteria. So, it can be concluded that the e-booklet with ESQ nuances on virus material for class X SMA/MA is very valid and very practical to use as additional biology teaching material in schools

Abstract

A very basic concept in the traditional Toba Batak kinship organization is the clan. Marga is a group of people who come from the same grandfather and follow the lineage from the father which is called patrilineal. Toba Batak customs are connected by a red thread that is tied in a kinship relationship "Dalihan natolu ". This study aims to analyze multidimensional science education in the ethnoscience of Dalihan Na Tolu in the perspective of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. This study is a literature study (library research) with data sources from previous research articles on topics related to science education, science concepts, ethnoscience, and Dalihan natolu .The literature review method is by searching for Discopus literature for the 2017-2022 year using keywords or the keywords Dalihan natolu . The stages of literature are carried out in a simple manner, namely: (1) Searching and presenting literature, (2) Literacy analysis process, (3) Article preparation. The stages of literature are carried out in a simple manner, namely: (1) Searching and presenting literature, (2) Literacy analysis process, (3) Article preparation. The results of the study show that (1) the nature of learning science can be classified into three dimensions, namely science as a product, science as a process, and science as an attitude; (2) Dalihan Na Tolu Dalihan Na Tolu is a philosophy that is an integral part of the life of the Toba Batak people (3) ethnoscience Dalihan Na Tolu contains the concept of kinship and can be integrated into the concept of science such as Biology, Mathematics and Physics (4) several learning models with an ethnoscience approach can improve conceptual understanding, science process skills, conservation attitudes, and students' creative thinking abilities.
