Abstract

ABSTRACT Low birth weight (LBW) babies are babies whose weight is less than 2500 grams regardless of gestational age. Kangaroo Method Care (PMK) is an important intervention for LBW babies that involves skin-to-skin contact between mother and baby. This method aims to increase the baby's body temperature, provide a sense of security, and support the baby's physical and emotional development. LBW in carrying out PMK at home, as well as understanding the challenges and benefits experienced in carrying out PMK at home. This research used a qualitative phenomenological approach involving three mothers as participants selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected through in-depth interviews which were recorded and transcribed, then analyzed using the Colaizzi method.From the data analysis, seven main the mes emerged, namely: Reasons for carrying out KMC: The mother's motivation to carry out KMC and the hope for her child's health makes the mother continue to carry out KMC. Time for implementing KMC: The duration and frequency of implementing KMC depends on the condition and abilities of the mother and baby.  Benefit of KMC: The mother feels a positive emotional response and calm during KMC. Social Support and Health Workers: Support from family, social groups and health workers plays a very important role in implementing KMC. Challenges and obstacles in implementation: Mother's anxiety level is the main obstacle factor in carrying out PMK at home. Mother's level of knowledge about PMK: In implementing PMK at home, mothers have different levels of knowledge and understanding about PMK, Solutions and strategies for facing obstacles: Motivation from within is the solution in facing obstacles. This research requires support from health workers and the social environment to increase mothers' knowledge, abilities and motivation about the importance of FMD for LBW babies. The results of the research provide recommendations for developing educational programs for mothers who have LBW babies, as well as the need for more attention to the psychological condition of mothers during care at home. It is hoped that this research can serve as a guide for further research and improve the quality of care for LBW babies in the community. Keywords: LBW, KMC, Babies.  ABSTRAK Bayi berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR) adalah bayi yang berat badannya kurang dari 2500 gram tanpa memandang usia gestasi. Perawatan Metode Kanguru (PMK) merupakan intervensi penting bagi bayi BBLR yang melibatkan kontak kulit antara ibu dan bayi. Metode ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan suhu tubuh bayi, memberikan rasa aman, dan mendukung perkembangan fisik serta emosional bayi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman ibu dengan bayi BBLR dalam melaksanakan PMK di rumah, serta memahami tantangan dan manfaat yang di alami dalam melakukan PMK di rumah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan melibatkan tiga ibu sebagai partisipan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam yang direkam dan ditranskrip, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Colaizzi. Dari analisis data, muncul tujuh tema utama, yaitu: Alasan Melakukan PMK : Motivasi ibu untuk melakukan PMK dan harapan untukkesehatan anaknya menjadikan ibu tetap melakukan PMK, Waktu Pelaksanaan PMK : Durasi dan frekuensi pelaksanaan PMK tergantung dari kondisi dan kemampuan ibu dan bayi, Manfaat PMK: Ibu merasakan respon emosi yang positif dan ketenangan saat PMK, Dukungan Sosial dan Tenaga Kesehatan: Dukungan dari keluarga, kelompok sosial dan tenaga kesehatan sangat berperan dalam pelaksanaan PMK. Tantangan dan hambatan dalam Pelaksanaan : Tingkat kecemasan ibu menjadi faktor hambatn utama dalam melakukan PMK di rumah, Tingkat Pengetahuan Ibu tentang PMK : Dalam pelaksaan PMK di rumah, ibu memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang berbeda tentang PMK, Solusi dan strategi Menghadapi Hambatan : Motivasi dari dalam diri menjadi solusi dalam menghadapi hambatan. Penelitian ini membutuhkan dukungan dari tenaga kesehatan dan lingkungan sosial untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan dan motivasi ibu tentang pentingnya PMK bagi bayi BBLR. Hasil penelitian memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan program edukasi bagi ibu yang memiliki bayi BBLR, serta perlunya perhatian lebih terhadap kondisi psikologis ibu selama perawatan di rumah.Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi penelitian selanjutnya dan meningkatkan kualitas perawatan bagi bayi BBLR di masyarakat. Kata Kunci: BBLR, PMK, Bayi.

Abstract

Seorang Guru harus mempunyai kemampuan soft skills yang baik sebagai penunjang menjadi guru yang profesional. Kemampuan soft skills menjadi bagian dari kompetensi kepribadian dan sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan soft skills Guru Penjasorkes Kelompok Kerja MTs Jepara Tahun 2018. Metode penelitian menggunakan survei dengan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dengan angket self- report. Populasi sebanyak 66 Guru Penjasorkes, sampel diambil dengan teknik accidental sampling yaitu ketika peneliti menjadi narasumber dalam workshop kurikulum 2013 Penjasorkes. Sebanyak 50 Guru Penjasorkes yang hadir dijadikan sebagai sampel. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan prosentase. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa aspek keterampilan berkomunikasi prosentae 80,30%, aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis dan memecahkan masalah 80,65%, aspek kerja tim 79,08%, aspek keterampilan belajar manajemen informasi 81,30%, aspek kewirausahaan mendapatkan 76,60%, aspek etika dan moral 79,60% dan aspek keterampilan kepemimpinan 83,73%. Disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan soft skills guru penjasorkes di KKMTs Kabupaten Jepara Tahun 2019 masuk dalam kategori baik sekali dengan prosentase rata-rata sebesar 80,18%.

Abstract

The research investigates pre-service teachers’ ability to create mathematical proofs through cooperative learning, as this skill becomes essential in university mathematics education. The research used a mixed-methods survey design to study 24 students who attended the Mathematics Education program at Universitas PGRI Palembang. Data was collected by a questionnaire, a mathematical proof test, and in-depth interviews. Data analysed descriptively. The results showed that most students were in the medium category of mathematical proof ability using a cooperative learning approach, with smaller proportions in the high and low categories. The investigation concluded that students with high mathematical proof ability demonstrated the ability to implement the five Mathematical Proof Indicators (IPMs) in constructing logical and systematic arguments and using mathematical representations appropriately. Students with moderate mathematical proof ability had difficulty with IPMc (third IPM) and IPMd (fourth IPM), while students with low mathematical proof ability had difficulty with almost all IPMs. The analysis of the investigation results indicates that strategies for conducting mathematical proofs require cooperative learning support to facilitate understanding of the concepts required for proofs and collaboration, and recommends its application in mathematics learning in higher education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of graduate quality as an indicator of educational success, which is influenced by teacher professionalism and work discipline at Elementary Schools in Gugus 4, Ulu Belu District. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of teacher professionalism and work discipline, both partially and simultaneously, on the quality of graduates. This study employed a quantitative method with an ex-post facto approach, involving a sample of 51 respondents selected through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been validated and tested for reliability, and then analyzed using multiple linear regression via the SPSS program. The results showed that, partially, teacher professionalism has a positive and significant effect on the quality of graduates with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Similarly, teacher work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on the quality of graduates with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence the quality of graduates with a contribution of 99.5%, while the remaining is influenced by other factors. The study concludes that improving the quality of graduates at Elementary Schools in Gugus 4, Ulu Belu District can be optimally achieved through strengthening professional competence and consistent enforcement of teacher work discipline.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and the work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Regional Secretariat of West Sumatra Province. This study was qualitative. The population consisted of 66 employees at the Regional Secretariat of West Sumatra Province. The sample selection method used total sampling, resulting in a sample size of 66. Data analysis used structural equation modeling (SEM) with the help of the smartPLS 3 application. The results of this study found that leadership style has no significant effect on job satisfaction. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Leadership style has no significant effect on employee performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of leadership style on employee performance. Job satisfaction mediates the effect of motivation on employee performance. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini Pegawai yang ada di Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat yang berjumlah 66 orang. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan sampel total sampling dan mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 66 sampel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan structural equation model (SEM) dengan bantuan aplikasi smartPLS 3. Hal penelitian ini, menemukan gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepuasan kerja tidak memediasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Abstract

The KIPAS Counseling Model (Intensive, Progressive, Adaptive, and Structural Counseling) was developed in response to the growing demand for counseling services in Indonesia that are contextual, religiously rooted, and culturally relevant. This model integrates Islamic values, local wisdom, and modern psychological principles into a holistic and dynamic counseling framework. This study uses a literature review method to explore the background, rationale, and philosophical-scientific foundations underlying the KIPAS model. The approach not only addresses psychological issues but also aims to shape character, strengthen self-identity, and foster spiritual awareness. From the perspective of philosophy of science and human nature, this model highlights the importance of glocalization and postmodern approaches in advancing guidance and counseling knowledge. Therefore, the KIPAS model provides a comprehensive, ethical, and culturally responsive solution for counseling practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

Determining the eligibility of scholarship recipients often faces problems of subjectivity and inaccuracy of targeting due to the limitations of manual assessment. This research implements the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN) method to determine scholarship eligibility at SMA Kristen Tunas Kasih, under the auspices of the Gereja Kebagunan Kalam Allah Indonesia (GKKAI). The goal is to build an accurate and objective classification system for selecting financially disadvantaged yet promising students. The dataset consists of 112 active students from the 2023/2024 academic year, divided into 90 training data and 22 testing data (80:20 ratio). Classification criteria include parental employment, parental income, and parental status. The MKNN method is implemented through several stages: Euclidean distance calculation, data normalization, validation, and weight voting. The system is developed as a web application using PHP and MySQL, featuring student data management, training-testing data division, weight calculation, and result visualization. Testing results show an accuracy of 95.45%, precision of 100%, recall of 75%, and F-measure of 85.71%. Out of 22 testing data, 21 were classified correctly, with only 1 mismatch. The optimal K value found through Grid Search is K = 3, yielding the best classification. This study demonstrates that the MKNN method delivers strong performance in determining scholarship recipient eligibility.

Abstract

Integrated aquaculture or IMTA is a cultivation method that involves several communities with different trophic levels, in terms of the utilization of food sources (energy) in the waters. To determine the effect of species combinations on snapper growth in integrated cultivation of controlled recirculation system and To determine the effect of species combination on snapper survival in integrated cultivation of controlled recirculation system, the research method used was Complete Random Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 replications and used ANOVA (Analysis Of Variance) data. The results showed that the survival of white snapper during 5 weeks of maintenance showed that the cultivation system had a significant effect on the ability of fish to survive, with the highest value in P4 treatment (IMTA) of 85.0% and lowest in P1 treatment (monoculture) of 43.80%, while P2 and P3 treatment reached 54.20% and 60.40% respectively. This pattern indicates that the integration of snapper with green shellfish and sea grapes in the IMTA system is able to create a more stable maintenance environment and support fish survival through the use of feed waste and feces as a source of nutrition for other organisms, thereby reducing the accumulation of toxic materials such as ammonia that have the potential to trigger stress and death. The results of ANOVA's analysis, which showed a significant influence of species combinations on synthesizers, as well as Tukey's follow-up tests, which confirmed the very real difference between P4 and other treatments, reinforced that integrated aquaculture approaches are more effective than monocultures or simple polycultures in improving the survival of white snapper in a closed recirculation system

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap Organization Citizenship Behaviour dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Rendahnya motivasi kerja, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi serta perilaku ekstra peran pegawai menjadi tantangan dalam instansi pemerintah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis Partial Least Square (PLS) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0. Sampel terdiri atas pegawai ASN yang ada pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Sumatera Barat sebanyak 77 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Organization Citizenship Behaviour. Gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Organization Citizenship Behaviour. Motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Organization Citizenship Behaviour. Motivasi kerja tidak mampu memediasi pelatihan dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap Organization Citizenship Behaviour. Temuan ini menunjukkan pelatihan harus ditingkatkan dan gaya kepemimpinan perlu dilakukan pengembangan menjadi komunikatif dan partisipatif agar bisa meningkatkan motivasi serta menumbuhkan perilaku ekstra pegawai.                                                                        Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Organization Citizenship Behaviour, Motivasi Kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh work-life balance dan profesionalisme terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kualitas pelayanan publik sebagai variabel intervening di Ditlantas Polda Sumatera Barat. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 82 responden dari total 468 personil menggunakan metode SEM dengan SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dan kinerja pegawai. Profesionalisme juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dan kinerja pegawai. Kualitas pelayanan publik terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Namun, pengaruh work-life balance terhadap kinerja melalui kualitas pelayanan publik tidak signifikan. Sebaliknya, profesionalisme memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kualitas pelayanan publik sebagai variabel intervening. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan profesionalisme sama-sama penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Namun, profesionalisme memiliki peran mediasi yang lebih kuat melalui kualitas pelayanan publik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan profesionalisme dan perhatian terhadap work-life balance dalam upaya memperbaiki pelayanan publik dan kinerja pegawai di Ditlantas Polda Sumatera Barat.
