Abstract

In a study related to the implementation of the Pancasila student profile in driving schools, it was found that students in driving schools had a good understanding of the Pancasila student profile. However, other facts also show that the implementation of the Pancasila student profile is not only happening in driving schools but has started to be implemented in non-moving schools. This creates a gap between previous research and the reality on the ground. The aim of this research is to describe the habits made by teachers in implementing the Pancasila student profile values of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character in class IV A at State Elementary School 80/I Muara Bulian. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 80/I Muara Bulian in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews and document study. The results of this research show that the Pancasila student profile of the faith dimension, being devoted to God Almighty has been implemented at SDN 80/I Muara Bulian. The research results show that the implementation stage through project activities has been implemented in line with what is stated in the Ministry of Education and Culture 2020. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile is implemented well through routine and spontaneous habits. The habituation carried out is able to develop students' character who is religious and has noble character. This is in line with the main characteristics of the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

This study aims to develop students' creativity through a project of making traditional house miniatures from ice cream sticks as part of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) project in grade VI at SDN 97/IV, Jambi City. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that project-based learning is effective in enhancing students' creativity, measured through indicators such as curiosity, self-confidence, perseverance, and imagination. This project also supports the achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile elements, namely creativity, mutual cooperation, and global diversity. Students actively engage in designing and completing the traditional house miniatures by creatively overcoming resource limitations, while drawing inspiration from Indonesia's cultural diversity. Thus, this project not only enhances creative thinking skills but also strengthens students' character in line with the goals of 21st-century education.

Abstract

In a competitive global era, it is important for elementary school children in Indonesia to understand the basics of business, creativity and entrepreneurship. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of business teaching methods that include the use of technology, simulation games, and entrepreneurial projects, as well as to understand the role of teacher, parent, and community support. Using a library research approach, this research collects and analyzes data from academic journals, textbooks and policy documents. The results show that the interactive teaching approach and use of technology improve students' understanding of business and develop very important soft skills such as leadership, negotiation skills, creativity, responsibility, ethics and cooperation. Apart from that, building students' character about business cannot be separated from the support and encouragement from parents and teachers who play a very important role. Suggestions from this research include developing more in-depth teacher training in business teaching, increasing parental involvement, and wider use of technology in the digital era to enrich the learning experience. This increase is expected to strengthen students' business understanding and prepare them for future economic challenges, helping them to form a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude that can benefit their future. This can ensure that business education is effectively integrated into the primary school curriculum in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the differences in data collection techniques in the research as well as identify the advantages and disadvantages of various methods, including surveys, interviews, observations, document analysis, experiments, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The research method used is a literature study, which involves tracing and analyzing written sources to understand the application of each technique. The results show that surveys offer efficiency and a wide range, but often neglect the depth of information needed to understand social contexts. Interviews and FGDs provide deeper insights, although they take time and can be influenced by researcher biases. Observation methods provide a good contextual understanding, but are subjective, while document analysis can present relevant historical data but must be critically evaluated. Experiments allow for the identification of clear cause-and-effect relationships, but are often carried out under artificial conditions that do not reflect reality. Taking into account technological developments, such as online surveys and mobile apps, this article concludes that a deep understanding of data collection techniques can help researchers design more effective and ethical research, resulting in findings that benefit society.

Abstract

Education is a part of human life that is very seriously considered, because with this education humans are protected from ignorance in understanding life and distinguishing it from animals, because humans and animals are creatures of God which are only separated by reason because each other has elements that are at least divided into two parts, namely physical and spiritual, researchers often discuss how to care for the physical and sometimes the spiritual is rarely discussed in more depth. In fact, the spiritual must also be taught and educated with a foundation that comes from the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the role of teachers in encouraging students' entrepreneurial interests and talents at SDN 17/I Rantau Puri. In the research, researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data in the research were collected through unstructured observation and interviews. After the data is obtained, data analysis is then carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are the role of teachers in developing students' entrepreneurial interests and talents through guidance that supports their growth in terms of personality, social interaction, learning, and future career preparation. Entrepreneurial interest and talent refers to a person's interest or inclination towards the business world and having a high entrepreneurial spirit, characterized by courage in taking risks and having a mature vision and mission that emerges from experience and observation of the surroundings. Based on the presentation of the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that in encouraging students' entrepreneurial interests and talents, teachers have a very important role by carrying out their role in guiding and training students. Keywords: Role of Teachers, Interests, Talents, Entrepreneurship Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam mendorong minat dan bakat kewirausahaan siswa di SDN 17/I Rantau Puri. Dalam penelitian, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Data pada penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara yang tidak tersetruktur. Setelah data didapatkan, kemudian dilakukan analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peran guru dalam mengembangkan minat dan bakat kewirausahaan siswa melalui bimbingan yang mendukung pertumbuhan mereka dalam hal kepribadian, interaksi sosial, pembelajaran, dan persiapan karier di masa mendatang. Minat dan bakat berwirausaha merujuk pada ketertarikan atau kecenderungan seseorang terhadap dunia bisnis dan memiliki jiwa berwirausaha yang tinggi dengan ditandai keberanian dalam mengambil risiko serta memiliki visi dan misi yang matang yang muncul dari pengalaman dan pengamatan sekitar. Berdasarkan pemaparan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam mendorong minat dan bakat kewirausahaan siswa guru memiliki peran sangat penting dengan menjalankan perannya dalam membimbing dan melatih siswa. Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, Minat, Bakat, Kewirausahaan

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) adalah salah satu organisasi keagamaan ‎terbesar di Indonesia yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam ‎pemahaman dan praktik ajaran Islam di negara ini. ‎Artikel ini akan membahas secara mendalam mengenai pemikiran ‎hadis menurut NU, pemahaman hadis menurut NU, serta kritik ‎terhadap metode yang digunakan oleh NU dalam memahami hadis.‎ NU memandang hadis sebagai sumber utama ajaran Islam setelah Al-‎Qur'an. Hadis ‎digunakan sebagai panduan dalam berbagai aspek ‎kehidupan, baik dalam ibadah, akhlak, ‎maupun muamalah (hubungan ‎sosial). NU menekankan pentingnya memahami hadis ‎dengan konteks ‎dan tujuan syariat, serta relevansinya dengan kondisi sosial ‎masyarakat ‎Indonesia.‎ NU mengadopsi pendekatan yang menggabungkan metode tradisional ‎dan kontemporer dalam menafsirkan hadis. Metode ini mencakup ‎penggunaan kitab-kitab klasik dan pandangan ulama terdahulu yang ‎diharmonisasikan dengan konteks modern. NU sangat menekankan ‎pentingnya sanad (rantai perawi) dan matan (isi hadis) dalam ‎menentukan kesahihan sebuah hadis. NU juga menggunakan metode ‎takwil untuk memahami hadis-hadis yang dianggap mutasyabihat ‎‎(samar).‎ Pemahaman hadis menurut NU ditandai dengan sikap moderat dan ‎inklusif. NU berusaha menjaga keseimbangan antara pemahaman ‎tekstual dan kontekstual hadis. NU juga menekankan pentingnya ‎ijtihad (penalaran hukum) dan istinbath (penyimpulan hukum) dalam ‎memahami hadis, sehingga menghasilkan fatwa yang sesuai dengan ‎kondisi zaman.‎ Meskipun pendekatan NU dalam memahami hadis dihargai oleh ‎banyak pihak, terdapat beberapa kritik. Beberapa ulama menganggap ‎bahwa metode takwil yang digunakan NU terkadang terlalu bebas dan ‎tidak cukup konservatif. Ada juga kritik bahwa NU tidak selalu ‎konsisten dalam penerapan metodologi hadis, terutama dalam konteks ‎politik dan sosial. Namun, NU terus berupaya untuk memperbaiki dan ‎mengembangkan metode pemahaman hadis mereka agar lebih sesuai ‎dengan kebutuhan umat Islam.‎ Tujuan tulisan ini agar mengetahui hadis menurut NU. Metodologi yang dipakai dalam tulisan ini ialah metodologi kualitatif dengan jenis library research. Sedangkan teknik penggalian data yang digunakan ialah dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa NU turut memberikan kontribusi terhadap perkembangan kajian hadis di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examined the effectiveness of English as the solely instructional medium in one informal educational institution. In the first English class, an English-only rule was strictly ruled whereas in the second English class, the use of Bahasa Jambi as the students’ local language was permitted. The research is appropriately undertaken as a mix method research with quantitative and qualitative approach. The site of the research is an established informal English institution in Indonesia. The authors used three kinds of instruments in collecting the data; questionnaires, tests (pre-test and post-test), and interviews. Participants of the research are the students of intermediate classes of an informal education institution in Jambi. The results show that 1) the students of the first class have stronger preferences to learn English than the students of the second class 2) the students’ English proficiency improvement of the first English class “under the strict rule of the use of English” is slightly higher than that of the second class “the local language permitted”. Suggestions and recommendations are offered for the betterment of English teaching and learning in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library study) yang mengumpulkan teori dan pendapat terkait dengan membangun jiwa kewirausahaan pada anak sekolah dasar. Dari berbagai analisis teori penelitian ini menemukan ba hwa untuk membangun jiwa kewirausahaan pada anak sekolah dasar perlu dilakukan dengan cara (1) Menerapkan pendidikan wirausaha di sekolah dasar, (2) Mengenalkan wirausaha di sekolah dasar (3) Melatih keterampilan wirausaha (4) Mencoba berwirausaha dari sekolah dasar. Menumbuh kembangkan jiwa wirausaha sejalan dengan Intruksi Presiden Nomor 24 Tahun 1995 tentang Gerakan Nasional Memasyarakatkan Membudayakan Kewirausahaan. Salah satunya dengen mengintegrasikan pendidikan kewirausahaan dengan semua mata pelajaran.
