Abstract

Corruption is a corrupted character and appears in certain politicians. Mental corruption in developing countries requires harsh sanctions, although it doesn’t provide a deterrent effect to the emergence of other corruptors in Indonesia. Imprisonment sanctions as long as possible can provide a religious experience so that the emergence of life changes. This article aims to analyse the spiritual experiences that have changed the lives of former corrupt convicts. Documentation study through the analysis of youtube videos from interviews with former corruption convicts who just got out of prison. The research subject is one woman—qualitative analysis as the basis for the emergence of various dimensions of religious experience. The study results found three basic dimensions of the emergence of spiritual experiences affective, cognitive, and behavioural. Religious experience in the affective dimension changes life with a process of acceptance, awareness, regret/mistake, gratitude, and sincerity—spiritual expertise with a cognitive size through self-belief and life lessons that can change lives. Religious experience also raises behavioural dimensions so that individuals can control themselves, be confident, and dare to act. These three dimensions serve as provisions for policymakers to internalise the anti-corruption character.

Abstract

Bullying in schools is a pervasive issue with profound implications for students' academic performance and psychological well-being. This systematic literature review explores the complex dynamics of bullying, focusing on its contributing factors, impacts on academic outcomes, and preventive strategies. The review synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed studies published between [insert start date] and [insert end date], identified through searches in major academic databases including PubMed, PsycINFO, ERIC, and Google Scholar. Key themes include the role of individual traits, social dynamics, and environmental factors in shaping bullying behaviors. Factors such as peer pressure, family relationships, and school climate significantly influence the occurrence and severity of bullying incidents. The review highlights the detrimental effects of bullying on academic achievement, including reduced motivation, decreased concentration, and heightened psychological distress among victims. Effective prevention strategies discussed encompass proactive measures such as implementing anti-bullying policies, promoting positive peer relationships, and fostering empathy among students. School counselors and educators play pivotal roles in creating safe and inclusive environments through targeted interventions and support for victims. Challenges identified include variations in study methodologies and the need for culturally diverse perspectives in bullying research. Future research directions should prioritize investigating bullying across different cultural contexts and addressing emerging forms such as cyberbullying comprehensively. By advancing our understanding and implementing evidence-based interventions, we can work towards fostering inclusive school environments where all students feel safe, respected, and able to achieve their full academic potential

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyse the ideal character of indigenous counsellors in Indonesia based on moral and spiritual teachings in Serat Wedhatama. Gadamer's hermeneutic approach is used to explore the deep meaning of the Serat Wedhatama text and contextualize it within the framework of modern guidance and counseling. The primary source of Serat Wedhatama was analysed using a qualitative approach, focusing on the reduction process, data presentation, and conclusions. The Miles and Huberman approach was used in the data reduction and presentation process, which allows the identification of the ideal counsellor character based on Serat Wedhatama. The results of the research, based on the analysis of the Serat Wedhatama text, indicate that Characters such as humility, patience, perseverance, compassion, self-awareness, caution, surrender to God, and remembering the afterlife are identified as important attributes of indigenous counsellors. These findings provide a significant contribution to counselling practice in Indonesia, especially in developing a multicultural counselling model that is more relevant to the local cultural context and spiritual values. By combining traditional principles with a modern approach, this study helps build a more holistic and morally grounded counselling model. This research enriches the literature on multicultural guidance and counselling, while offering an alternative indigenous approach that is more appropriate to Indonesian society. Keywords: indigenous counsellor, serat wedhatama, guidance and counselling, gadamer's hermeneutics, spiritual values

Abstract

This study examines the impact of performance evaluation (feedback) on the self-efficacy of counsellors in training in Indonesia using a mixed-method sequential explanatory approach. Quantitative analysis (SEM-PLS) revealed that feedback significantly influences self-efficacy (β = 0.323, p = 0.042), though with a modest effect size (R² = 10.4%). Qualitative findings identified three key themes: (1) constructive feedback (specific, solution-focused, and dialogic) as most effective, (2) self-reflection as a mediator, and (3) the critical role of a supportive environment. The study highlights the need for structured feedback rubrics, integrated reflection sessions, and collaborative evaluation practices to enhance self-efficacy. These findings contribute to the development of evidence-based training models for counselor preparation programs in Indonesia, addressing gaps in conventional evaluation systems.

Abstract

One aspect of university quality assurance is providing guidance and counseling services for students. Students are vulnerable to various problems while undergoing education in higher education. Resilience is one of the characters that is important for students to be able to survive and recover from various difficult situations and problems experienced. To increase resilience, appropriate treatment is needed along with a model as a reference. This study aims to develop a psychoeducational group service model based on Islamic Gratitude to improve student resilience. The research method uses Borg and Gall developmental research until the expert and practitioner validation stage and produces a prototype. The results of the research are the Islamic Gratitude Psychoeducational Group Model to Increase Student Resilience which integrates the stages of gratitude intervention developed by Bohlmajer and the values of gratitude in Islam which include syukr bil qalb, syukr bil lisan, and syukr bil hal, and contains the values of Iman, Islam, and Ihsan. Expert validation of the model shows that the model is feasible and can be used. Further research can conduct small group tests/experimental tests to measure the effectiveness of the developed model

Abstract

The rapid development of social media, particularly TikTok, has had a significant impact on the ethics of Indonesia’s young generation. TikTok, as a short-video sharing platform, functions not only as a medium of entertainment but also as a forum for self-expression and identity formation. However, uncontrolled use can generate negative effects such as addiction, reduced productivity, psychological health issues, and the deterioration of ethical values and social norms. The purpose of this article is to examine the role of TikTok in shaping the mindset and behavior of Indonesian youth through a qualitative literature research approach with explanatory analysis. The findings indicate that TikTok provides opportunities for digital creativity and literacy development, but its use must be accompanied by ethical awareness to avoid undermining cultural identity and national morality. Therefore, strong digital literacy and monitoring from multiple stakeholders are required to create a healthy and responsible digital environment.
