Abstract

The observations showed that the ability to read and watch students was low. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of Indonesian language learning and the reading and viewing abilities of third-grade elementary school students. This research was conducted in grade 3 with 20 students and the homeroom teacher. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The techniques used in collecting data are observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. First is the ability to grasp the meaning of reading; 11 people cannot grasp the meaning of reading. The second indicator, the ability to grasp meaning in reading, needs repetition in explaining questions so students can catch meaning in reading. The ability to see students has three indicators, namely first, watching when playing a fairy tale video, students look calm and focused. Second, listening. In this skill, students listen to videos well, which can be seen from the response when asked questions by the teacher regarding the video. Third, looking closely, it was found that 16 students could not answer the given LKPD questions. It was concluded that the implementation of learning Indonesian on the ability to read and watch using strategies, methods and media had yet to achieve the indicators in the learning objectives.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Medan City branch of the Indonesian Zakat Initiative Amil Zakat Institute. This study aims to determine the implementation of PSAK 109 at IZI Medan branch. PSAK 109 explains that zakat is assets that must be issued by people who are obliged to pay zakat (muzakki) in accordance with sharia provisions to those who are entitled to receive it (mustahik). Likewise with infak/alms issued by muzakki in an effort to realize God's commands by helping human beings who are entitled to receive them and also helping the public good. The type of research conducted in this study is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection method in this study is through; direct observation, interviews, documentation, reporting at IZI and then compared with the Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK). The results of this study indicate that the management of productive-based zakat infaq alms is good in receiving funds from muzakki and distribution to mustahik, and in financial reporting LAZNAS IZI Medan Branch has implemented PSAK 109 well in terms of recording and measurement while presentation and disclosure can only be made in reports finance at IZI central Jakarta only.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Pendekatan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM)diterapkan sebagai strategi inovatif guna memacu antusiasme belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn), dengan memanfaatkan portofolio sebagai instrumen evaluasi alternatif non-tes. PBL dipilih karena metode ini memicu keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran, mendorong pemecahan masalah nyata, serta memperkuat kolaborasi antar siswa. Pendekatan ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan minat yang lebih mendalam serta meningkatkan partisipasi mereka terhadap materi PKN. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu sekolah menengah dengan melibatkan sekelompok siswa sebagai objek studi. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang terbagi dalam sejumlah siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup empat tahap utama: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Dalam proses ini, instrumen portofolio dimanfaatkan sebagai alat penilaian holistik yang merangkum tiga aspek penting: pengetahuan kognitif, keterampilan praktis, serta pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Portofolio berperan sebagai arsip perjalanan belajar siswa yang memberikan gambaran konkret tentang sejauh mana pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep-konsep Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKN) serta penerapannya dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) dengan penggunaan portofolio secara efektif mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan. Hal ini tercermin dari tingginya keterlibatan aktif, semangat belajar yang meningkat, serta pencapaian hasil belajar yang lebih optimal. Siswa tampak lebih tertarik dengan materi PKN dan mampu menghubungkan pembelajaran dengan berbagai fenomena nyata yang terjadi di lingkungan sekitar mereka Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menyumbangkan ide-ide segar untuk merancang metode pembelajaran PKN yang lebih kreatif dan efisien. Tak hanya itu, artikel ini juga bertujuan menginspirasi para pendidik untuk mengadopsi pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif serta berfokus pada pemecahan masalah. Dengan begitu, kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung lebih hidup, menciptakan atmosfer pembelajaran yang atraktif, mendalam, dan sarat makna bagi para peserta didik.

Abstract

Kurikulum memiliki peranan penting berbentuk perangkat pembelajaran yang berisi tentang perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran dalam bentuk suatu proses pemerolehan pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang didapatkan melalui rangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kurikulum merdeka lebih lanjut dengan memfokuskan perencanaan implementasi kurikuum merdeka dan perencanaan pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka di jenjang sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Desain kualitatif diimplementasikan dan dilakukan pada kepala sekolah dan guru kelas 1 dan guru kelas 4. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu model interactive  model yang mana unsur-unsurnya meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka membutuhkan kesiapan kepala sekolah dan guru untuk mempelajari hal baru. Pada proses perencanaan, guru masih mengandalkan modul ajar yang disediakan oleh pusat. Terdapat hal baru yang harus diperhatikan di dalam kurikulum merdeka dengan adanya project penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran abad ke 21 dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar di sekolah.

Abstract

The lack of visual and interactive learning resources in the Visual Communication Design (DKV) program presents challenges for students at SMK Negeri 48 Jakarta in understanding Digital Marketing material. This program aimed to enhance students' understanding and engagement through an interactive learning application on the "Content Creator" theme. Conducted at SMK Negeri 48 Jakarta, this program involved 11th-grade DKV students as partners. The Activities carried out are educational which includes planning, developing content and visual assets, application testing, and evaluation. Results indicated a significant improvement in students' comprehension, as shown by a 71.86% increase in the average post-test scores compared to the pre-test. The application demonstrated a positive impact on students' interest in technology-based learning tailored to visual needs. This innovation is particularly valuable for DKV students as it integrates visual elements, animations, and educational games. This program can serve as a model for similar initiatives in other schools, adapted to various fields of study. It underscores the importance of integrating technology as a modern learning resource in the digital era

Abstract

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a tool used by workers to protect themselves from potential hazards and work accidents that may occur in the workplace. In research, there are still many workers who do not comply with wearing PPE at work because it makes it difficult for them to do their job, starting from not wearing gloves, shoes and eye protection. This researcher aims to determine the relationship between individual characteristics and adherence to the use of PPE personal protective equipment. Quantitative research using a cross sectional approach. Sampling used in this study is the Simple Random Sampling method with workshop workers as respondents totaling 99 using the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a questionnaire and then data were analyzed using SPSS with univariate and bivariate analysis. This data analysis used the chi-square statistical test (α = 0.05). Results: The results showed that the variables age, years of service did not have a significant relationship with adherence to the use of PPE with a p value greater than 0.05, namely the p value of age 0.362 > 0.05 while years of service p value 0.624 > 0.05. There is no relationship between individual characteristics and adherence to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Factors that have a relationship with adherence to the use of PPE are age and years of service. Keywords: Compliance, Use of PPE, Workshop

Abstract

Classroom learning is mostly still beating students' abilities, while students' abilities vary, so that learning methods are needed that are in accordance with the abilities of each student. Education in Indonesia requires an increase that is able to provide enlightenment, with yesterday's covid 19 making student learning disrupted. Differentiated learning is a new learning system following the times that is expected to provide rapid change for education in Indonesia. This study aims to describe differentiated Indonesian language learning for students in grade IV elementary school. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are the application of differentiated learning at SDN 11sondakan Surakarta, in grade IV Indonesian language learning, and the impact of the application of differentiated learning at SDN 11 Sondakan Surakarta on grade IV Indonesian language learning. The conclusion of this research is that differentiated learning refers to an approach that considers the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. The most important component is understanding the ability of individual students. The results of differentiated learning are more improved than before.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis peran media sosial TikTok dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa Universitas Jember tentang Wawasan Nusantara melalui konten kreatif dan edukatif di TikTok dan untuk mengukur pengaruh penggunaan bahasa Indonesia di platform media sosial, sehingga dapat memperkaya kosakata dan meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Jember (UNEJ) yang aktif pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa UNEJ yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Sampel ini dipilih untuk mewakili populasi mahasiswa yang aktif menggunakan TikTok dan memiliki akses terhadap konten yang relevan dengan Wawasan Nusantara. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Bahasa Indonesia memiliki peran penting sebagai alat pemersatu bangsa dan media komunikasi nasional. Sebagai bahasa resmi, ia mengatasi kesenjangan komunikasi antar kelompok sosial yang berbeda, memperkuat solidaritas, dan membangun identitas nasional. Dalam konteks pendidikan, bahasa Indonesia berfungsi sebagai bahasa pengantar yang meningkatkan akses dan literasi. Namun, di era globalisasi tantangan terhadap keberlangsungan bahasa ini meningkat, sehingga perlu pengembangan kosakata dan penanaman sikap positif terhadap penggunaan bahasa Indonesia. Upaya kolaboratif antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sektor pendidikan sangat penting untuk menjaga dan memperkuat peran bahasa Indonesia di dalam dan luar negeri.

Abstract

Introduction: Medical waste is waste produced from infectious materials, used medical equipment, expired medicines, and others, and the amount of medical waste is expected to continue to increase every year. WHO criticizes good hospital medical waste management at 15%, but in Indonesia the disposal rate is 23.3%, containerization 20.5%, and transportation 72.7%. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitude of nurses and the management of hazardous and toxic waste (B3) in the inpatient room of Sundari General Hospital Medan. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a cross sectional approach. The research population is all nurses with a sample of 50 people using the total sampling technique. Data were collected by interviews using questionnaires. Data analysis uses univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. The results of the study showed that 26 people (52%) had good knowledge, 29 people (58%) had negative attitudes, and 31 people (62%) had poor waste management. The results of the chi-square  test were obtained that  the p-value of knowledge was 0.007 and attitude was 0.008. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude with B3 waste management in the inpatient room of Sundari General Hospital Medan. It is recommended that hospitals make policies on B3 waste management, facilitate B3 waste containers and provide socialization about waste management.

Abstract

Equity in the division of inheritance between men and women continues to be a relevant and ongoing topic of discussion. The traditional view held by some classical circles is that the division of inheritance between men and women, as written in Surah An-Nisa' verse 11, is final and cannot be changed. Any change to this provision is considered a deviation from the sharia. On the other hand, contemporary scholars see the division as a rule that must be contextualized in accordance with the times and the existing social dynamics. Progressive thinking in this case is spearheaded by gender activists who consider that fiqh mawaris still has a gender bias. This study aims to analyze the application of the distribution of inheritance property that is fairer and in accordance with the conditions of Indonesian society through a gender theory approach. The methodology used is descriptive analytical, focusing on the issue of the distribution of inheritance that applies 1:2 for men and women. Data analysis was conducted by examining the arguments of inheritance through a socio-historical approach. The results show that the division of inheritance in Islam which refers to the ratio of 1:2 is not final. In the context of a changing society, the division can be adjusted to 1:1 or even 2:1. This research emphasizes the importance of contextual understanding of sharia texts so that the goal of Islamic law can be achieved, namely balanced justice for all parties. With this approach, it is hoped that the inheritance system can adapt to the more progressive values of gender justice in modern society.
