Abstract

Abstrak – Indonesia pernah tercatat sebagai salah satu negara yang melanggar hak kekayaan intelektual yang parah tinggi di dunia. Tahun 2010 berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan oleh Political and Economic Risk Consultancy, Indonesia adalah pelanggar Hak Atas Kekayaan Intelektual terburuk di Asia, berada pada angka 8,5 dari angka maksimum 10 untuk kawasan Asia. Posisi di bawahnya ialah Vietnam (8,4), China (7,9), Filipina (6,8), India (6,5), Thailand (6,1), dan Malaysia (5,8) (Panjaitan, 2017). Salah satu contoh pelanggaran hak intelektual ialah plagiarisme atau penjiplakan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, diskusi, dan pendampingan lanjutan. Khalayak strategis kegiatan ini ialah guru-guru pada Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain Putra dan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain Putri Narmada Lombok Barat. Mitra dan sekaligus koordinator ialah Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain Putra Narmada Lombok Barat. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan luaran: 1) Pemahaman dan wawasan yang lebih luas menegnai apa, bagaimana dan dampak plagiariasme itu bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta karakter guru dan siswa, 2) Artikel pada JPPM FKIP Universitas Mataram ber-ISSN, pengumpulan palit lambat 1 tahun setelah kontrak berakhir; dan 3) Dokumen Pencegahan Plagiarisme. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini berjalan dengan sangat lancar dan mendapat respon yang sangat tinggi dari khalayak sasaran. Ada keinginan yang kuat dari peserta untuk terus melanjutkan kegiatan serupa dalam waktu yang lebih lama lagi.

Abstract

The use of technology in educational contexts has experienced rapid growth in recent years. This breakthrough offers great potential to improve the quality of learning and teaching at various levels of education. One approach that dominates the conversation is the integration of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) in learning, which includes the alignment of three main components, namely technology (T), pedagogy (P), and content knowledge (CK). This study uses a systematic literature review approach to collect, select, and determine articles, then analyze and synthesize the latest research findings on the integration of TPACK in learning to improve teacher professionalism. The results showed that the trend of research studies related to TPACK in 2019 to 2023 discussed several components such as self-efficacy, a complete understanding of the dimensions of TPACK, the ability to analyze challenges and obstacles in the use of technology in learning, the ability to collaborate in the digital era, and the ability to build a positive paradigm in integrating technology in the learning process.

Abstract

Purpose of Study: Exploring the students’ motivations for studying in the English departments, comparing career choices and interests based on gender, and determining the ‘time’ and reasons for shifting careers. Methodology: This study employed mixed methods. The sample was drawn through proportional random sampling and involved 1100 students from the English departments in Lombok, Indonesia. 380 male and 820 female students, more than 25 percent of the total, filled out the Google Forms questionnaire. The data were collected through questionnaires and academic documents. Quantitative data analysis employed descriptive statistics, while qualitative analysis used ‘Iterative Analysis.’ Main Findings: 1) Being a teacher is the primary motivation for studying in the English departments; 2) Females far dominate men in the choice of the teaching profession, while males in the tourism and hospitality sector; 3) But, career choice shift occurs at the end of the study motivated by socio-economic orientation. So, curriculum developers should consider biological and socio-cultural aspects of English education gender. Further studies should be conducted on the interrelation of gender and socio-cultural and religious perspectives. Novelty/Originality of this Study: The choice of work of the students of the English departments in Indonesia is still determined by its suitability with gender. Some studies on career shifts in universities have been carried out, but a specific study that explored the career choice shift of English department students based on gender has never been carried out. This is the ‘novelty.’ Nevertheless, this study did not include the students’ religion-based educational background.

Abstract

The role of teachers has a significant impact on students' achievements across various sectors, including sports. It is also understood that students' achievements can influence the development of institutions or schools. This study aims to evaluate the contribution of Physical Education, Sports, and Health  teachers in enhancing students' badminton skills at SMP Negeri 4 Sigli for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employs a descriptive quantitative design with a survey approach. The data collection instrument used is a questionnaire with a validity level of 0.830 and a reliability level of 0.915. The study population includes all Education, Sports, and Health   teachers, the school principal, the vice principal, classroom teachers, the vice principal for curriculum affairs, and 26 students participating in extracurricular badminton activities. The sample consists of the entire population. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive with percentages. The findings indicate that the role of Education, Sports, and Health teachers in developing and improving students' achievements at SMP Negeri 4 Sigli is categorized as very good for 7.69% (2 teachers), good for 30.77% (8 teachers), fair for 19.23% (5 teachers), poor for 42.31% (11 teachers), and very poor for 0% (0 teachers).Keywords: Role, Sports Teacher, Achievement, Badminton, Students

Abstract

The community of Lubuk Bendahara Village on oil palm plantations for their livelihood. Currently, the oil palm farmers are organized into five active farmer groups. The implementation of sustainable plantation practices, as required by the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification, presents both a challenge and a necessity for these farmers. According to Presidential Regulation No. 44 of 2020 and the Ministry of Agriculture Regulation No. 38 of 2020, companies and independent farmers must adopt sustainable practices by 2025. This situation requires the farmer groups to continually update their information. Website serves as an effective information system, providing accurate and beneficial information to enhance the role of these groups. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training on the use of the website luben.id, managed by the village and the farmer groups. The website contains information about the village profile, farmer groups, ISPO materials, and details about oil palm plantations. This activity, conducted from July to August 2024, involves MBKM student interns as agents of change. The outcomes include the establishment of website management, knowledge transfer, and enhanced media literacy among palm oil farmers, particularly in accessing information to support ISPO implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a teaching module for Islamic Religious Education and Ethics for class X at SMA Negeri 1 Palopo using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments include interviews, documentation, and assessment sheets (questionnaires). The results of the study show that the teaching module received validation from media experts of 70.83% (valid), material experts of 89.58% (very valid), and linguists of 67% (valid). The practicality test from the teacher gave a result of 75% (practical). Thus, this teaching module is considered valid and practical to be used as an effective learning medium in Islamic Religious Education and Ethics subjects.

Abstract

The development of science grows rapidly. However, this phenomenon raises a huge impact for Muslims. It has been our behavior  that distinguish between Moslem Science and other knowledge. There is a discriminative treatment against the two types of science. Muslims are divided into those who have positive perception of the Islamic sciences, and negative to other, or vice versa. Based on the reality, Al-Faruqi says that there is no other way to raise Islam, except to reassess the culture of Islamic scholarship in the past, present and modern scholarship as well, and then process them into scientific to be a mercy to the world through what called "integrated science". From the background, the purposes of this study are 1) To know the concept of science integration Ismail Raji al-Faruqi sight. 2) To know the method implementation of the science integration concept in Ismail Raji al-Faruqi sight. This research uses descriptive-analysis method. Descriptive method tries to explain the concepts of Ismail Raji al-Faruqi thought about the science integration. While the analysis technique used is a combination among deductive, inductive, and interpretation. After the research completed, it could be concluded that the Science Integration Concepts in Ismail Raji al-Faruqi sight shows us that science is not value-free and must be based on the method of monotheism. Tauhid principle should be the basic or the main foundations in the development of science in Islam. So that, it shows us to the development of community beneficial. The idea of science Islamisation is one solution to overcome the people problems. The ideas are implemented in 12- work plan steps in Science Islamisation program.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Diabetes melitus merupakan salah satu penyakit krosnis yang prevalensinya terus meningkat di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Komplikasi yang sering terjadi pada penderita diabetes adalah masalah pada kaki, yang dikenal sebagai kaki diabetik. Kondisi ini dapat berupa luka kronis, infeksi, hingga amputasi, yang tidak hanya berdampak pada kualitas hidup pasien tetapi juga memberikan beban ekonomi yang signifikan (Yusdiana Dalimunthe et al., 2019). Setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan, peserta dapat memahami tentang Perawatan kaki Dibetik   dan  diharapkan  pasien  dapat   membatu   anggota   keluarga   yang   memiliki penyakit diabetes untuk melakukan perawatan kaki diabetik di rumah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyuluhan perawatan kaki diabetik dirancang untuk memastikan pesan yang disampaikan dapat dipahami, diterapkan, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta. Pendekatan ini menggabungkan metode pendidikan kesehatan yang interaktif, praktis, dan berpusat pada peserta, sehingga memberikan dampak positif dalam perubahan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilakuMelalui penyuluhan yang sistematis dan terstruktur, diharapkan para peserta tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan teoritis, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam jangka panjang, penyuluhan ini berpotensi mengurangi angka kejadian komplikasi kaki diabetik, mengurangi kebutuhan amputasi, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien diabetes. Sebagai kesimpulan, kegiatan ini memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis yang dapat membantu peserta dalam menjaga kesehatan kaki, mencegah komplikasi, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka sebagai penderita diabetes. Dengan perawatan kaki yang tepat dan kewaspadaan terhadap gejala, komplikasi kaki diabetik dapat dicegah. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Diabetes Melitus, Perawatan Kaki, Kaki Diabetik  ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease whose prevalence continues to increase throughout the world, including in Indonesia. A complication that often occurs in diabetes sufferers is foot problems, known as diabetic foot. This condition can range from chronic wounds, infections, to amputations, which not only impact the patient's quality of life but also impose a significant economic burden (Yusdiana Dalimunthe et al., 2019). After receiving counseling, participants will be able to understand about diabetic foot care and it is hoped that patients will be able to help family members who have diabetes to carry out diabetic foot care at home. The methods used in diabetic foot care education are designed to ensure that the messages conveyed can be understood, applied and relevant to the needs of participants. This approach combines interactive, practical and participant-centered health education methods, thereby providing a positive impact in changing knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Through systematic and structured counseling, it is hoped that participants will not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also be able to apply this knowledge in everyday life. In the long term, this education has the potential to reduce the incidence of diabetic foot complications, reduce the need for amputations, and improve the quality of life of diabetes patients. Overall, this activity provides practical knowledge and skills that can help participants maintain healthy feet, prevent complications, and improve their quality of life as diabetes sufferers. Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Motivasi dan Disiplin Kerja secara parsial terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Parepare. (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Motivasi dan Disiplin Kerja secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Parepare. Teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuisioner, dan dokumentasi. Sebagai populasi adalah seluruh pegawai Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Parepare. Agar penelitian ini tepat dan proporsional maka dalam penelitian ini digunakan teknik total sampling. Dengan demikian jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 41 orang. H:asil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Variabel Motivasi (X1) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Parepare dengan dengan thitung 4,330 > ttabel 2.024 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. (2) Variabel Disiplin Kerja (X2) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Parepare dengan hasil dengan thitung 2,462 > ttabel 2.024 dengan nilai signifikan 0,018 < 0,05. (3) Motivasi dan Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Parepare dengan 61.642 lebih besar dari Ftabel 3.24 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 yang berarti di bawah signifikan 0,05. (4) Nilai R2 = 0.764 atau 76,4%, jadi sumbangan pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat yaitu dengan taraf 76,4% sedangkan sisanya bertaraf 23,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti meliputi Lingkungan Kerja, Kepemimpinan, Beban Kerja dan lain sebagainya.
