Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a videoscribe media product with a problem-based learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This study found a lack of utilization of audio-visual-based learning media that supports the teaching and learning process in the classroom and teachers of SD Negeri 106838 Jati Mulyo had never used Videoscribe learning media. The method used in this study is the development method or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The results obtained from several expert validators, namely media experts got a feasibility score of 76.9%, material experts got a feasibility score of 85%, teacher responses got a feasibility score of 91.6%, and student responses got a feasibility score of 95.3%. Thus, videoscribe media with a problem-based learning model is very suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Peran pendidikan dalam pembangunan suatu bangsa tidak dapat dipandang sebelah mata, dan kualitasnya sangat bergantung pada pengalaman belajar yang ditawarkan. Di era digital saat ini, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah merevolusi cara pendidikan disampaikan dan diterima. Dalam konteks ini, geografi muncul sebagai mata pelajaran yang dapat mengambil manfaat besar dari alat pembelajaran digital. Geografi, yang erat kaitannya dengan dunia nyata, memberikan peluang ideal untuk memanfaatkan teknologi digital guna meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran. Dengan adopsi pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang peran media pembelajaran digital dalam pendidikan geografi. Analisis literatur yang cermat diharapkan memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi praktisi pendidikan dan para pemangku kepentingan dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran geografi. Melalui integrasi media pembelajaran digital dalam pendidikan geografi, harapannya adalah meningkatkan efisiensi sistem pendidikan, memperdalam pemahaman konsep geografi siswa, dan membuka pintu bagi kemungkinan-kemungkinan baru dalam pembelajaran yang inovatif dan inklusif di era digital ini.

Abstract

Fundamental movement skills are very important and have an impact on children’s development. This research aims to explore and analyze articles related to fundamental movement skills in elementary schools over the last decade through a bibliometric study in order to explore a research roadmap regarding fundamental movement skills in elementary schools. This bibliometric study takes four stages, namely: (1) searching for articles; (2) classifying articles; (3) checking and completing article metadata; and (4) carrying out bibliometric analysis. This study explores seven findings related to (1) publication trends in fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (2) citation trends for fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (3) author collaboration that has the strongest link to publications on fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (4) Development of author keywords in publications onfundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (5) Development of abstracts on publications on fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (6) institutional collaboration on the publication of fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; and (7) Distribution of countries that contributed to the publication of fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023. Based on these seven findings, it can be concluded that there is a lack of attention from academics and researchers to fundamental movement skills in elementary schools. This can be seen from the very minimal number of publications in the last decade

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the game of throwing and catching to improve the learning outcomes of basic throwing and catching movements. This study was conducted on grade V students from one of the schools in Penjaringan District, North Jakarta City. With a total of 30 students who needed action. The design of this study used action research which was carried out through four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and evaluation. This study, which consisted of two cycles, used data collection techniques in the form of observation and throwing and catching test instruments which were then processed with descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed an increase of 80% in students’ throwing and catching movements from the pre-cycle to cycle II. Thus, the implementation of the game method in improving learning basic throwing and catching movements has a significant influence. This study recommends that further research can package games with more interesting game names and focus on the development of movement and student enthusiasm.

Abstract

Social studies is a very important domain in education because it helps the scope of the social sciences field of knowledge to be able to understand and overcome global challenges. In the current era of globalization and complexity of world problems, social science knowledge is becoming increasingly relevant. This article will discuss how IPS can understand various global issues such as climate change, international trade, migration issues, and international conflicts. Social studies not only provides knowledge about these issues, but also teaches the analytical, critical, and problemsolving skills necessary to participate in global discussions. In addition, this article will highlight the importance of a global perspective in teaching social studies. Expert theory also emphasizes that learning social studies from a global perspective can also help increase intelligence, tolerance and cross- cultural cooperation. By understanding differences and similarities around the world, students can become more conscious global citizens and contribute to solutions to global problems. In short, social studies in a global perspective is an important component in education that helps students understand global issues, develop analytical skills, and encourage cross-cultural understanding. This article will discuss the importance of social studies in the context of globalization and how teaching social studies can help students become more informed world citizens and engage in global issues. Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial merupakan ranah yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan karena membantu lingkup bidang ilmu dari IPS mampu memahami dan mengatasi tantangan global. Pada era globalisasi dan kompleksitas masalah dunia saat ini, pengetahuan IPS menjadi semakin relevan. Artikel ini akan membahas bagaimana IPS dapat memahami berbagai isu global seperti perubahan iklim, perdagangan internasional, isu migrasi, dan konflik internasional. IPS tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan tentang isu-isu ini, tetapi juga mengajarkan keterampilan analisis, kritis, dan pemecahan masalah yang diperlukan untuk berpartisipasi dalam diskusi global. Selain itu, artikel ini akan menyoroti pentingnya perspektif global dalam pengajaran IPS. Teori ahli juga menekankan bahwa pembelajaran IPS dalam perspektif global juga dapat membantu mempromosikan kecerdasan, toleransi, dan kerja sama lintas budaya. Dengan menguatkan literasi ilmiah mengenai memahami perbedaan dan kesamaan di seluruh dunia, seseorang dapat menjadi warga dunia yang lebih sadar dan berkontribusi pada solusi masalah global. Abstract

Learning using audiovisual media is an alternative in learning using media that contains elements of sound and images, which involves the senses of sight and hearing. Learning media has an important role in improving elementary school student learning outcomes. Using audio-visual media can help in the Social Sciences learning process for elementary school students. The aim of this research is to find out the benefits of using audio-visual media in social studies learning for elementary school students. The social studies learning process is usually focused on the teacher, because there is a lack of improvisation so there is no other improvisation which causes students to tend to feel bored and only listen to the main material. So teachers need to use interesting learning media in order to improve the quality of students' learning outcomes in social studies scores. This research is based on the researcher's curiosity about the use of audiovisual learning media in junior high schools. The use of audiovisual based learning media is based on the problem of low student learning outcomes in the learning process which causes students to be less active in paying attention to lessons. This research uses qualitative descriptive research with the Literature Review research type. data obtained by analyzing journals related to the researcher's title, namely the use of audiovisual media in social studies learning on student learning outcomes in junior high schools. Keywords : Learning Media, Audio Visual, Social Studies learning Abstrak Pembelajaran menggunakan media Audiovisual adalah salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media yang mengandung unsur suara dan gambar, di mana melibatkan Indera penglihatan dan pendengaran. Media pembelajaran mempunyai peran penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar. Dengan penggunaan media audio visual dapat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa manfaat menggunakan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran IPS bagi siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Proses pembelajaran IPS biasanya terfokus pada guru, karena kurangnya improvisasi sehingga tidak adanya improvisasi lain yang menyebabkan siswa cenderung merasa bosan dan hanya terpaku pada materi pokok saja. Maka guru perlu menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar peserta didik dalam nilai IPS. Penelitian ini didasari oleh ke ingin tahuan peneliti dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran audiovisual di SMP, Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual didasari adanya masalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran yang menyebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dalam memperhatikan pelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian Literature Review. data yang didapatkan dengan menganalisis jurnal yang berkaitan dengan judul peneliti yaitu Penggunaan Media Audiovisual dalam Pembelajaran IPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMP. Abstract

Abstract   Globalization and technology are very much at bringing positive and negative changes and influences. This can be felt in all aspects of life including education. The positive influence of globalization and technology is actually true we can feel the efficacy in education, but we can not deny that the negative impact of globalization and technology is also as much as the positive influence of felt. The negative effects of globalization and technology can cause social problems of learners, for example such as emerging egoism, more condensing towards individualism, lack of effective communication skills, low of empathy of human beings, decreased sense of responsibility, low discipline, and less work together in interacting in social life. In this problem, IPS learning has a very important role in improving aspects of social skills learners. IPS learning is designed to educate learners know the concepts of social life that will be useful in their lives in the community environment. In addition, IPS learning focuses on the values of humanitarian social skills in the institutions and relationships between humans and the environment. This social skill is very important for each individual because of social skills is a need to build and also maintain positive relationships with the community environment. By mastering social skills, learners are expected to socialize well in the era of globalization and technology. To realize the purpose of IPS learning also requires effective learning model for learners to easily understand the material given and can apply it in real life. The method used in this research is literature review or literature review. The data source used in this research is the book, journals, articles and other relevant scientific works.  Keywords : Globalization, technology, social skills, IPS learning.    Abstrak  Globalisasi dan teknologi banyak sekali membawa perubahan dan pengaruh positif maupun negatif. Hal ini dapat dirasakan di segala aspek kehidupan termasuk pendidikan. Pengaruh positif dari globalisasi dan teknologi benar benar dapat kita rasakan kebermanfaatannya dibidang pendidikan, akan tetapi tidak dapat kita pungkiri bahwa dampak negatif dari globalisasi dan teknologi ini juga sama besarnya dengan pengaruh positif yang dirasakan. Pengaruh negatif globalisasi dan teknologi dapat menimbulkan masalah  sosial peserta didik, contohnya seperti timbulnya egoisme, lebih condong ke arah individualisme, kurangnya keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif, rendahnya empati sesama manusia, menurunnya rasa tanggung jawab, rendahnya tingkat disiplin, dan kurang dapat bekerja sama dalam berinteraksi di kehidupan sosial. Dalam permasalahan ini, pembelajaran IPS mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan aspek keterampilan sosial peserta didik. Pembelajaran IPS dirancang untuk mendidik peserta didik mengenal konsep-konsep kehidupan sosial yang nantinya akan bermanfaat di kehidupan mereka di lingkungan bermasyarakat. Selain itu, pembelajaran IPS berfokus pada nilai-nilai keterampilan sosial kemanusiaan dalam institusi dan hubungan antara manusia dan lingkungannya. Keterampilan sosial ini sangat penting bagi masing masing individu dikarenakan keterampilan sosial merupakan suatu kebutuhan untuk membangun dan juga memelihara hubungan positif dengan lingkungan masyarakat. Dengan menguasai keterampilan sosial, peserta didik diharapkan mampu bersosialisasi dengan baik di era globalisasi dan teknologi. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan dari pembelajaran IPS juga memerlukan model pembelajaran yang efektif agar peserta didik mudah memahami materi yang diberikan dan dapat menerapkannya di kehidupan nyata. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu literature review atau tinjauan pustaka. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku, jurnal, artikel dan karya ilmiah lain yang relevan.    Kata Kunci : Globalisasi, Teknologi, Keterampilan sosial, Pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih memprihatinkannya kemampuan berpikir kritsis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS oleh karena itu diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Salah satu pendekatan yang diercaya mampu memberikan stimulus efektif bagi keammpuan berpikir kritsis siswa yaitu pendekatan pembelajaran inkuiri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Pretest Prosttest control group design. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 121 Jakarta, sedangkan sampel yang ditetapkan adalah kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah sebanyak 32 siswa dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Pretest, Prosttest, dan observasi. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji statistika terhadap nilai Pretest dan Prosttest menggunakan Uji Normalitas, Uji homogenitas, dan Uji ‘t’ untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 0,000< 0,05 kemudian nilai thitung sebesar 7,303 > dari nilai (ttabel0,05 (31))=2,04. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang diberikan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran inkuiri untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa

Abstract

This research was motivated by the academic stress level of junior high school (SMP) students aged 14-19 years who experienced moderate to high levels of stress. The increase in academic stress in students in this age group is due to stressors during adolescence, the transition period from childhood to adulthood. The era of globalization in Indonesia is shifting the educational paradigm which prioritizes Human Resources over Natural Resources. The Student Centered Learning approach shifts the role of the teacher from someone who conveys knowledge to students to someone who supervises students in acquiring knowledge on the internet. However, misperceptions in its application trigger academic stress in students aged 14-19 years. Apart from formal education, stress triggers for students can also be caused by non-formal education, such as parental guidance at home. The increase in study time and increased pressure for students to understand school subjects causes an increase in academic stress levels every year, especially among children aged 14-19 years. An increase in academic stress in students aged 14-19 years was seen when the Distance Learning program was implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the whole world, including Indonesia. The increasing academic stress in children aged 14-19 years requires teachers to understand and reduce the stress levels of their students with a good approach through the application of learning methods, religious counseling assistance and other positive activities that can be useful in reducing the academic stress of children aged 14-19 years.
