Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires prolonged treatment therapy to reduce the incidence of complications. The purpose of this study is to determine the data that can increase a person's risk of developing diabetes mellitus, such as age, weight, family history, lifestyle, and diet and to determine whether high blood sugar levels contribute to an increased risk of blood pressure in type II diabetes mellitus patients. The method used is correlation with a cross sectional approach emphasizing the time of measurement or observation of data on the independent variable and the dependent variable only once, at a time. The population in this study is the number of patients who have a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Ciracap Health Center working area of 94 people. This study will use 55 respondents, using the slovin formula. The sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The results showed that the P Value obtained from the Chi Square test for asymp sig. (2-sided) is 0.002. This value shows the result of p <0.05 and means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between blood sugar levels and blood pressure in patients with diabetes mellitus II in the Ciracap working area.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between family support and self-care management in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients undergoing hemodialysis at Sekarwangi Regional Public Hospital. A correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed, involving 109 respondents. Data on family support were collected using the Perceived Social Support-Family (PSS-Fa) questionnaire, while self-care management was assessed using a self-care management scale. Descriptive and bivariate analyses were performed to analyze the data. The results indicated that 78.9% of respondents received good family support, and 91.7% demonstrated good self-care management. Statistical analysis using Fisher’s Exact Test showed a significant relationship between family support and self-care management (p = 0.019). Patients with good family support were more likely to have better self-care management (95.3%) compared to those with insufficient family support (21.7%). This study highlights the critical role of family support in enhancing patient confidence and adherence to self-care practices, which contributes to better management of CKD and improved quality of life. The findings suggest that strengthening family involvement in care could significantly improve the self-care management of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Further interventions to enhance patient education and family support are recommended to optimize health outcomes for CKD patients.

Abstract

Tafsir Qur’an Karim by Mahmud Yunus is recognized as the first complete modern-style exegesis of the Qur’an in Indonesia. One of its notable approaches is the integration of scientific perspectives into the Qur’anic verses. This study aims to examine how Mahmud Yunus interprets verses of the Qur’an related to science. This research employs a qualitative library research method, using Tafsir Qur’an Karim as the primary source, alongside various books, and scholarly articles as a secondary sources. Data related to Mahmud Yunus’s scientific exegesis were collected from a specific section at the end of his tafsir titled Kesimpulan Isi Al-Qur’an, which features scientific themes, particularly verses concerning natural phenomena such as physics, chemistry, and earth sciences. Based on these themes, we conducted a close reading and analysis of his interpretation of relevant verses. The findings highlight two main points: (1) Mahmud Yunus engaged in scientific exegesis earlier than the commonly recognized introductory phase of the 1960s, positioning him as one of the pioneers of scientific exegesis in Indonesia; (2) his model of scientific exegesis includes references to scientific theories from European scientists, such as Newton and various astronomers, aiming to provide a broader explanation that strengthen faith, as illustrated in QS. Al-An’ām (6): 96. In several instances, he attempts to harmonize kawniyyah (cosmological) verses with scientific findings to highlight the miraculous nature of the Qur’an, as seen in QS. Al-Anbiyā’ (21): 30. Thus, his approach to scientific exegesis can be categorized as both apologetic and descriptive-informative, rather than theoretical critique.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop valid, practical, and effective number bowling media to improve children's counting skills at IT Al-Kahfi Kindergarten, Kemu Village. The research method is research and development with the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The one to one trial stage amounted to 5 students and a small group trial with 10 students. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses validity test, practical test, and effectiveness test. The results showed the validity of material experts 87.5 very valid category and media experts 92.5 very valid category. Practicality test of number bowling media based on teacher response questionnaire, 86.6 very practical category and in the student response trial using one to one 91.28 categorized as very practical and 89.63 categorized as very practical in the small group trial. The effectiveness test is seen from the hypothesis test using the t-test, obtained tcount = 103.439 while for ttable = 2.313. So it can be concluded that tcount> ttable then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It is concluded that the number bowling media to improve children's counting skills is valid, practical, and effective to use in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to compare two leading PHP frameworks, Laravel and Symfony, in the context of modern web application development. Using a Comparative Literature Study approach, this study analyses various relevant literature sources to evaluate the performance, ease of use, key features, security, as well as scalability and community support of each framework. Laravel is known for its simple and productive approach, making it popular among beginner to intermediate developers. Meanwhile, Symfony has a more complex and flexible architectural structure, which is often used in large-scale projects and enterprise systems. From the results of the study, it was found that Laravel is superior in terms of ease of use and the availability of extensive documentation, while Symfony shows more stable and flexible performance in large-scale applications. In terms of security, both frameworks provide protection features against common threats such as SQL Injection, CSRF, and XSS. Laravel has the upper hand in providing off-the-shelf solutions, while Symfony provides more advanced settings for experienced developers. Laravel's community support is also greater, making learning and development easier. This research provides an objective overview for developers in choosing a framework that suits the needs of the project, both from a technical and practical perspective.

Abstract

This study uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to examine user opinions about the X app on the Google Play Store. Data went through preprocessing steps like cleaning, casefolding, tokenizing, filtering, and sentence reconstruction from 5,000 reviews that were gathered via web scraping. Using a lexicon-based method, sentiment labeling was carried out, categorizing reviews into three groups: neutral, negative, and positive. The findings indicated that 49.4% of respondents had unfavorable opinion, followed by neutral (29.8%) and positive (20.8%). An SVM model with an accuracy of 86.3% was generated by feature extraction using Bag of Words with CountVectorizer. The neutral class had the highest recall (0.96) and the negative class the highest precision (0.95). With an F1-score of 0.78, the positive class performed the worst, most likely as a result of data imbalance. Despite difficulties in categorizing minority classes, this study shows that SVM is useful in sentiment analysis.

Abstract

The exotic fruit that became the pride of farmers as an additional family income in Tanah Merah and Langsar villages is a srikaya fruit that is in great demand by Madurese people and outside the region because the texture, taste, and aroma are better than other regional production. To be able to get into the hands of consumers, marketing srikaya fruit requires marketing agencies (intermediary traders) that play a role in selling to consumers. Competition often occurs between traders especially when there is an increase in demand. This study aims to determine the market structure of srikaya fruit in Bluto Seasonal Fruit Market. Primary data were obtained through observation and interviews with traders as many as 19 respondents and literature studies were used to obtain secondary data. The data analysis method uses market share analysis, market concentration, and minimum efficiency scale (MES). The results showed that the market structure of the srikaya fruit formed in the Bluto Market from the calculation of CR4 amounted to 28.52%, which led to a monopolistic market. The barriers to entry for new traders are fairly easy to know through the MES calculation results of 8.3% with this value new traders can still compete in the fight for market share.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan spiritualitas peserta didik, namun tantangan berupa rendahnya motivasi dan partisipasi aktif siswa masih menjadi kendala dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis nilai-nilai Islam melalui model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning/PjBL) guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, melibatkan analisis literatur dari berbagai sumber akademik yang relevan. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama terkait integrasi nilai Islam dalam bahan ajar berbasis proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, motivasi belajar, serta internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman pada peserta didik. Selain itu, bahan ajar digital interaktif yang terintegrasi dengan PjBL terbukti efektif dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan siswa. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan integrasi nilai Islam tidak hanya meningkatkan capaian akademik tetapi juga membentuk karakter religius siswa, sehingga layak diterapkan secara lebih luas dalam pendidikan agama untuk menghadapi tantangan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

This paper presents a design for the automatic control system of the threshing station model using PLC Zelio smart relay. Threshing station is a station where a process of separation palm kernel from the bunch by way of slamming into a rotating drum. The threshing station model is a shape which resembles of the threshing station palm oil mill of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V- PKS Sei Galuh, it has been scaled 1:8. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is a microprocessor based on instrument that can be programmed to control the machining process automatically. This system design has 2 inputs and 3 outputs. The inputs are push button to turn on and turn off of the works system and a rotary encoder sensor to detect rotating screw conveyor. The outputs are 3 units of DC motors. The programming language is used the ladder diagram by using the Software Zelio Soft 2. This system includes design of ladder diagram program, design of control system on auto feeder and design of rotary encoder sensor. The result of this design is revealed that auto feeder runs automatically turn on for 60 seconds and turn off for 30 seconds, continuously. The sensor works with voltage is 4.4 Volt at the moment un-stunted and 0.1 Volt when the stunted.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran sudah menjadi salah satu kebutuhan yang harus dipersiapkan para guru. Guru harus menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi informasi. Guru harus beradaptasi dan menyesuaikan dengan anak-anak yang lebih banyak menggunakan teknologi informasi dan lebih pintar dalam menggunakan smartphone. Banyak aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi infomasi. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan soal online adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Wordwall. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini diantaranya memberikan alternatif kepada para guru dalam penggunaan aplikasi untuk membuat latihan soal online. Pemilihan aplikasi Wordwall dengan pertimbangan aplikasi tersebut mudah digunakan dan soal yang disajikan ke siswa dapat dipilih dalam bentuk permainan. Dengan mengemas dalam permainan diharapkan siswa merasa senang dalam mengerjakan soal. Metode dalam kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan mempraktikkan secara langsung. Penggunaan metode praktik ini diharapkan para guru dapat langsung mengimplementasikan pembuatan soal. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, para guru mampu mengembangkan soal online dan membentuk luaran soal dengan berbagai bentuk permainan dan mendistribusikan soal ke siswa
