Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of ethical marketing in Islamic marketing and its impact on business integrity in modern companies. The background of this research is driven by the importance of understanding ethical values in marketing based on Islamic principles, especially in the era of increasingly competitive market competition. The research method used is a qualitative approach, including in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis in several companies that apply ethical marketing in Islamic marketing. The findings show that the implementation of principles such as honesty, transparency, and fairness can enhance consumer trust and strengthen customer loyalty. However, challenges still exist, particularly regarding consistent understanding across the organization and pressure for short-term profits. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of intensive training for employees on Islamic marketing ethics and the development of value-based marketing approaches to improve company reputation and sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract Tests or questions that use ACTFL standards at level Novice is one way to find out Arabic language learning standards and students' ability standards, especially writing skills tests. ACTFL standardization at the Novice level consists of 3 levels, namely Novice High (high beginner level), Novice Mid (intermediate beginner level), and Novice Low (low beginner level). The research uses a qualitative method through a literature study by studying the Skills Guide book American Council On The Teaching Of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and other literature such as articles and books. Based on the results of the analysis carried out in this research, there are 20 tests or questions according to ACTFL standardization at the level Novice that is 20% of the questions of difficulty level or Novice High (4 questions), 50% of the questions are medium level or Novice Mid (10 questions), and 30% easy level questions or Novice Low (6 questions). Abstract

The objectives of this community service activity were conducted through socialization and training, including (1) enhancing the utilization of agricultural waste such as rice husks into biochar and (2) training on biochar production and its application on land. These activities used the Service Learning (SL) method and involved the community, especially students, as the primary target. The activities were conducted in the Greenhouse by all of the Agroecotechnology Study Program students in the class of 2022 at Universitas Sulawesi Barat. In this community service, students who had studied biochar production explained the process and benefits of biochar based on the materials they learned during lectures. The participants were very enthusiastic about these activities, proved by their statements that they understood the material presented by the speakers.

Abstract

Citizenship education merupakan istilah dari pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Salah satu tujuan dari pelaksanaan pendidikan kewarganegaraan adalah untuk membentuk warga negara yang baik di Perguruan Tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di FKIP Universitas Mataram dan dampaknya terhadap pengembangan karakter dan kesadaran sosial mahasiswa. Berdasarkan kebijakan nasional yang menekankan pentingnya PKn sebagai bagian integral dari kurikulum perguruan tinggi, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana pendekatan berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning atau PjBL) diterapkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap isu-isu kewarganegaraan. Metode PjBL dipilih karena kemampuannya untuk mengaktifkan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kondisi sosial yang ada. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan dosen, survei kepada mahasiswa, dan analisis dokumen kebijakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek tidak hanya meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran PKn tetapi juga mendorong pengembangan keterampilan kritis, kolaborasi, dan literasi digital yang relevan dengan tuntutan globalisasi. Produk-produk yang dihasilkan mahasiswa, seperti video edukasi dan kampanye digital, juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap isu-isu kewarganegaraan. Evaluasi komprehensif yang melibatkan proses, produk, dan refleksi juga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana kebijakan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yang adaptif dan berbasis proyek dapat memperkuat peran mahasiswa sebagai warga negara yang aktif dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif (positivist paradigm) dengan dengan penekanan pada explanatory research untuk penjelasan hubungan kausal antar variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemilik usaha kecil mebel di Kecamatan Polombangkeng Utara Kabupaten Takalar. Teknik penarikan sampel diawali dengan menggunakan formulasi slovin kemudian menentukan dengan cara simple random sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 149 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data utama dengan kuesioner. Kemudian teknik análisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sumberdaya tanwujud (human capital, organizational capital dan relational capital) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap daya saing usaha mebel di Kecamatan Polombangkeng Utara Kabupaten Takalar. Secara parsial human capital berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap daya saing, namun organizational capital dan relational capital berpengaruh signifikan terhadap daya saing. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa daya saing usaha mebel cenderung stagnan sebagai akibat kemampuan pemilik usaha yang kurang kreatif dalam pengelolaan usaha disebabkan mindset yang dipengaruhi oleh pola pengelolaan usaha secara turun-temurun dari nenek moyang. Kamampuan ini tercermin dari sumber daya tanwujud meliputi pengelolaan human capital belum optimal disebabkan pengetahuan pemilik usaha kecil pertenunan kain sutera masih warisan dari keluarga, pengalaman langsung dari pekerjaan ditambah pengetahuan dari training tanpa ada tambahan pengetahuan berarti dari pendidikan formal. Hal ini menjadi pemicu belum optimalnya pengelolaan organizational capital dan relational capital. Kata Kunci: Sumber daya terwujud, Daya saing

Abstract

Adventure games include some of the most popular genres in the gaming industry, with rich narrative arcs and interactive game play. In this research study, the 2D adventure game is designed and developed by using a game engine called Construct 3, which is an easy-to-use and powerful game development application. This study encompasses the design and execution of game mechanics, narrative and graphical elements to provide an immersive experience. We employed an iterative design methodology, which included game prototyping, testing and refinement. The project was assessed in regard to vitality based on gameplay smoothness, user engagement, visuals and received positive feedback from initial testers. Overall, the results point to the successful use of Construct 3 as a development tool, especially for indie developers and educators looking to design gamified learning environments. Overall, this study shows that Construct 3 can help in making game development more accessible to a broader audience, ultimately leading to a more balanced domain of creative outputs in the industry.

Abstract

Abstract. This study investigates the communication patterns used by caregivers at Pondok Yatim and Dhu'afa Amal Sholeh Sejahtera Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on religious social outreach, to cultivate discipline in foster children's Qur'an memorization. Using Josep A. Devito's communication pattern theory, this research examines the effectiveness and challenges of various communication models in this context. Employing a qualitative, descriptive approach, data were gathered through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Results reveal that caregivers predominantly use the "wheel" and "star" patterns of communication, facilitating both interpersonal and group interactions. These patterns, alongside specific memorization techniques—Bin-Nazhar, Tahfidzh, Talaqqi, Takrir, and Tasmi'—support foster children in building diligent, disciplined habits in Qur'an memorization. Identified challenges include fluctuating levels of engagement among foster children and the need for adaptable communication strategies to sustain motivation and consistency in their practice. This study contributes insights into effective communication methods in Islamic education and highlights factors critical to fostering religious discipline among youth.  Abstrak. Penelitian ini mengkaji pola komunikasi yang digunakan oleh pengasuh di Pondok Yatim dan Dhu'afa Yayasan Amal Sholeh Sejahtera, sebuah organisasi non-profit yang bergerak dalam dakwah sosial keagamaan, untuk menumbuhkan kedisiplinan dalam hafalan Al-Qur'an anak asuh. Menggunakan teori pola komunikasi Josep A. Devito, penelitian ini menelaah efektivitas dan tantangan dari berbagai model komunikasi dalam konteks ini. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengasuh umumnya menggunakan pola komunikasi "roda" dan "bintang," yang memfasilitasi interaksi interpersonal dan kelompok. Pola-pola ini, bersama dengan teknik hafalan spesifik—Bin-Nazhar, Tahfidzh, Talaqqi, Takrir, dan Tasmi'—mendukung anak asuh dalam membangun kebiasaan rajin dan disiplin dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an. Tantangan yang diidentifikasi mencakup tingkat keterlibatan anak asuh yang fluktuatif serta perlunya strategi komunikasi yang adaptif untuk menjaga motivasi dan konsistensi dalam praktik mereka. penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang metode komunikasi yang efektif dalam pendidikan Islam dan menyoroti faktor-faktor penting dalam menumbuhkan disiplin religius di kalangan remaja.

Abstract

Changes in land use in accordance with spatial pattern plans are a challenge for the government as the population in an area increases, resulting in increased land requirements. This greatly influences the spatial pattern plans that have been planned previously. These land use changes can be obtained from Remote Sensing data which has the advantage and ease of obtaining land use information. This research uses Sentinel-2A satellite image data for 2017 and 2023. The objectives of this research are (1) To determine the ability of Sentinel-2A imagery to interpret land use (2) To determine changes in land use in 2017 and 2023 (3) To find out the alignment of land use identification with the Padang City spatial pattern plan. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with an approach spatial (spatial approach). The method used for land use classification is the manual digitization method (on screen) and land use area calculation using the Geometry Calculator tool in ArcGIS 10.6.1 software. The research results show the ability of Sentinel-2A imagery to produce 15 land uses, namely highland forest, residential/mixed buildings, rivers, cultivated open land, rice fields, dry land seasonal crops, bushes and thickets, mining, runways, ports, buildings industry and trade, grass, mangrove forests, savannas and stretches of coastal sand. In a period of 5 years there were 13 land uses that experienced changes, namely highland forests, residential/mixed buildings, open cultivated land, bushes and shrubs, mining, industrial/commerce buildings, dry land seasonal crops, rice fields, mangrove forests, stretches of beach sand and grass. The harmony between the land use of Padang City and the Padang City Spatial Pattern Plan is dominated by harmony, but there are also those which are not in harmony, namely highland forests, residential/mixed buildings, rice fields, dry land annual crops and mining.

Abstract

Financial Performance Assessment is based on increased sales. It can be reflected i n a report, a report describing the progress of the company's financial performance in a certain period. Such reports are commonly called financial statements. In orde r for financial statements to be meaningful to the interested parties it is necessary t o analyze the relationship of the posts in the financial statements are often called fi nancial statement analysis. The purpose of this study is to know how the financial performance of PT. Based on the analysis of liquidity ratio, solvency, activity and profitability. The data analysis method used is descriptive quantitative method usin g liquidity ratio measurement, solvency, activity and profitability. Based on the ov erall liquidity ratio, the company is in good condition except for cash ratio in 2022, although over the period of 2021-2023 fluctuates. Based on the sovency ratio of t he company's state in solvable position, because the company's capital is in suffici ent state to guarantee the debt given by the creditors. Based on the overall activity ratio is quite good. Based on the overall profitability ratio of the company is in a b ad position.

Abstract

Organizational ethics plays an important role in shaping a good climate for all members of the organization. The ethical issues concerning to social problem, protection of the rights of employees, public society (social responsibility) and also consumers. The application of ethics in organization raises the employee job satisfaction (seeorganizational justice theory and cognitive dissonance theory). This study was analyzed using multiple regression method by taking the object of research on 350 SME businesses in three regencies, East Luwu, Bone and Tana Toraja in South Sulawesi. This study was focused in three forms, namely egoistic ethical climate, benevolent, and principled ethical climate. The results of the study show that organizational climate is like egoistic ethics climate and benevolence ethical climate the organization does not show positive results on employee job satisfaction. However, the coefficient of egoistic climate has negative influence to job satisfaction. Whereas principled ethical climate shows a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction.
