Abstract

This study aims to optimize the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) model, particularly using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) layers, for detecting SQL injection attacks in database systems. SQL injection remains a critical cybersecurity threat, capable of compromising sensitive data and damaging organizational integrity. Using a dataset sourced from Kaggle, the research explores various hyperparameter combinations, including activation functions (Softmax, Tanh, ReLU, PReLU, and LReLU), optimizers (Adam, SGD), learning rates (0.001, 0.0001), and regularization methods (Dropout and L2). Experimental results show that the highest model performance was achieved using the Tanh activation function, Adam optimizer, a learning rate of 0.001, and 100 epochs—resulting in an accuracy of 98.17% and a loss value of 0.4084. Tanh also performed well with slightly lower accuracy. The findings demonstrate that using adaptive optimizers like Adam and non-saturating activation functions significantly improves model performance. The study also addresses challenges such as class imbalance and emphasizes the importance of comprehensive evaluation metrics beyond accuracy. These results confirm that an optimized RNN-LSTM model offers high detection accuracy with low false positive rates, suitable for real-time intrusion detection systems. This research contributes to strengthening database security and serves as a foundation for further development in intelligent threat detection models.

Abstract

Penerapan sistem dan teknologi informasi di MAN ABC sudah ada dan penting untuk menganalisis manfaat investasi (keuntungan). Salah satu sistem tersebut adalah Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan. Selama ini sering terjadi kesulitan dalam menghitung manfaat yang diperoleh, kecenderungan untuk menekan biaya atau solusi menjadi lebih murah namun dengan kemampuan yang lebih rendah dari yang dibutuhkan dan menyebabkan lambatnya kemampuan untuk memenuhi tenggat waktu, kesulitan dalam mengidentifikasi, menganalisa dan mengendalikan biaya. Untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari investasi yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak sekolah, maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran terhadap manfaat Sistem Informasi agar setiap program yang diterapkan dapat mendukung tujuan sekolah. Metode untuk menilai kelayakan investasi sistem dan teknologi informasi adalah dengan mengukur manfaat dari sebuah implementasi sistem informasi dengan menggunakan Information Economics (IE). Metode yang dikembangkan oleh Marilyn M. Parker dan pendekatan IE ini digunakan untuk menganalisis investasi sistem informasi perpustakaan terhadap manfaat berwujud, manfaat semu (quasi-intangible) dan manfaat tidak berwujud yang dikuantifikasikan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini sangat bermanfaat bagi sekolah dan menjadi bagian penting dalam meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif.

Abstract

Proses penghitungan kendaraan memberikan informasi yang tepat tentang arus lalu lintas, dan waktu puncak lalu lintas di jalan raya. Makalah ini menyajikan penghitung kendaraan dengan menggunakan data dari Google Maps API. Penghitungan kendaraan akan menggunakan rumus rasio densitas dari metode Greenshield, Greenberg dan Underwood. Implementasi dari teknik yang diusulkan telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan framework codeigniter. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi penghitung kendaraan berbasis web yang diharapkan dapat membantu dinas terkait dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat sebagai pengguna jalan

Abstract

Intercomparison of mass quantities is an activity to compare performance between laboratories ofmass quantities and reference laboratories which produces intercomparative data in the form ofconventional mass values and uncertainty values. Clustering of weights was carried out to obtain ananalysis of the laboratory’s participants management. The analysis carried out is very dependent on theaccuracy of the cluster. Clustering using self-organizing maps algorithm, and the results are tested for thelevel of homogeneity within the cluster and the level of heterogeneity between clusters using the icdrate value.The clustering of intercomparison’s data using the self-organizing maps method resulted in an icdratevalue of 0,0713 for an artifact of 1000 g and an icdrate of 0,2889 for an artifact of 200g

Abstract

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks generate high-dimensional network traffic that poses significant challenges for machine learning-based detection systems in terms of predictive accuracy and computational efficiency. This study presents a systematic evaluation of Mutual Information (MI) based feature selection applied to three modern boosting algorithms, namely XGBoost, LightGBM, and CatBoost, using the CIC-DDoS2019 dataset. A controlled experimental design was employed, where data partitioning was performed prior to resampling, and SMOTE was applied exclusively to the training set to prevent data leakage. Feature selection was conducted by identifying the top 25 features based on MI score saturation analysis. The results demonstrate that MI-based feature selection consistently improves classification performance while substantially reducing training time across all models. Among the evaluated methods, LightGBM achieves the best trade-off between accuracy and computational efficiency, reaching an accuracy of 99.88% with significantly reduced training cost. These findings indicate that feature quality plays a critical role in shaping the learning behaviour of boosting algorithms and that MI-based feature selection functions as a structural mechanism for enhancing model stability and scalability in high-dimensional DDoS detection scenarios.

Abstract

Tomato cultivation is a vital agricultural commodity in Indonesia, yet leaf diseases continue to pose a serious threat to crop quality and yield. While deep learning–based classifiers have achieved high accuracy in laboratory settings, most existing tomato leaf disease detection models rely on computationally intensive architectures that limit their practical deployment on resource-constrained devices commonly used in agricultural environments. To address this gap, this study proposes a lightweight Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based on the MobileNetV2 architecture, explicitly combined with systematic hyperparameter optimization, for tomato leaf disease classification. Using 14,529 images from the PlantVillage dataset, the research involves image preprocessing, data augmentation, and structured tuning to improve performance while maintaining computational efficiency. The optimized model achieves an accuracy of 81% using a learning rate of 0.001, 128 units, a dropout rate of 0.3, and an alpha value of 0.35. Although this accuracy is slightly lower than that reported by heavyweight CNN models, it is competitive for lightweight architectures and represents a favorable trade-off between classification performance and computational efficiency. Despite its compact design, the model demonstrates reliable disease recognition and suitability for deployment on devices with limited resources. Furthermore, the trained model was implemented in a desktop-based application as a proof-of-concept system, demonstrating scalability and potential adaptation to mobile or edge-based agricultural decision-support platforms. This study highlights the novelty of integrating lightweight CNN design with systematic hyperparameter optimization and demonstrates that optimized lightweight deep learning models can provide effective, efficient, and deployable solutions for real-world precision agriculture applications.

Abstract

Information Technology is a data processing technology and is a variety of ways to produce high-quality information accurately and quickly, relevant to the needs of individuals and businesses. Strategic information about decision making. The development of information technology is one of the most important factors for the progress of time. There are several fields that are important for technological progress and affect the progress of the country, such as the education sector, the economic sector, the health sector, the government sector, and the socio-cultural sector. Basically, technology is developed to promote human work. Currently, technology is a great need for humanity. In fact, technology is used in all aspects of human life. Predicting heart disease accurately is essential to treat heart patients efficiently before a heart attack occurs. This goal can be achieved by using an optimal machine learning model with complete heart disease health data. Therefore, a comparison of the performance of the Naive Bayes algorithm and the C4.5 algorithm in predicting heart disease requires calculation so that the results obtained are more accurate. Before doing the calculation, it is necessary to check the feasibility of the data to be used, then the division of training and testing data. In the study, there were several scenarios for dividing training and testing data using a confusion matrix. This study resulted in a performance comparison of the Naïve Bayes and C4.5 algorithms in predicting heart disease, 6 experimental scenarios were carried out, each algorithm had 3 experiments with varying amounts of training data and testing data. The C4.5 algorithm performed 3 experimental scenarios, in the first experiment the Naïve Bayes algorithm, the first experiment 70:30 produced an accuracy of 83%. In the second experiment 80:20 produced an accuracy of 83%. In the third experiment 90:10 produced an accuracy of 85%. Then the C4.5 algorithm performed 3 experimental scenarios, in the first experiment 70:30 produced an accuracy of 98%. In the second experiment 80:20 produced an accuracy of 100% In the third experiment 90:10 produced an accuracy of 100%.

Abstract

Coral reef ecosystems represent one of the most diverse marine systems and play a fundamental role in maintaining the ecological stability of coastal environments. Despite their importance, detailed information on coral species composition and morphological characteristics in many Indonesian coastal areas remains limited, including in the Bahari waters of Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency. This study aimed to examine coral species composition, analyze their distribution across different substrate types, and interpret the ecological implications of their morphological characteristics. Field surveys using a descriptive–exploratory approach. Data were collected through the Line Intercept Transect (LIT) method along a 50 m transect line in shallow intertidal waters. Coral colonies intersecting the transect were documented and identified based on morphological traits using the Coral Finder Toolkit Indo-Pacific 3.0. The results recorded a total of 10 coral species belonging to five families: Acroporidae (50%), Agariciidae (20%), and Fungiidae, Leptastreidae, and Merulinidae (each 10%). Species distribution varied across substrate types, with rocky sand supporting the highest species richness (70%), followed by sandy substrates (50%), while seagrass–sand substrates supported only a limited number of species (10%). The dominance of branching corals, particularly from the genus Acropora, indicates environmental conditions characterized by high light availability and relatively stable substrates, while the occurrence of solitary forms such as Fungia reflects adaptive strategies to unstable sedimentary environments. These findings highlight a clear relationship between coral morphology, substrate stability, and environmental dynamics in intertidal reef systems. This study provides baseline ecological information on coral composition and morphology in the Bahari coastal waters and emphasizes the importance of substrate characteristics in shaping coral community structure. The results can support future coastal management and coral reef conservation strategies in South Buton Regency.

Abstract

Precision agriculture demands artificial intelligence solutions that are both accurate and deployable on resource-constrained hardware, yet conventional machine learning models require excessive memory while traditional ANFIS architectures suffer from training instability. This study developed a memory-efficient and gradient-stable lightweight Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) for real-time humidity prediction on microcontroller-class devices. The proposed architecture strategically reduced the rule base from 27 to only 4 interpretable fuzzy rules and limited membership functions to two per input, achieving an 85.2% reduction in learnable parameters. A gradient-stable training mechanism was introduced, combining physics-informed parameter initialization with adaptive gradient clipping to prevent gradient explosion. The model was trained and validated using 31,474 real-world greenhouse samples collected over 218 days, with 80% allocated for training and 20% for temporal testing. Experimental results demonstrated that the gradient-stable architecture successfully converged from a catastrophic R² of -64.08 to 0.9148, with a root mean square error of 1.32% and mean absolute error of 1.05%. The model required only 0.211 KB of memory, representing a 99.9% reduction compared to baseline Random Forest models, while achieving inference time of 8.2 milliseconds on Arduino UNO. The system was successfully deployed on three independent hardware modules, maintaining consistent performance with average RMSE of 1.99% over 168 hours of continuous operation. This study concludes that strategic simplification and stability-aware training enable interpretable neuro-fuzzy systems to operate effectively on ultra-low-resource devices, bridging the gap between predictive accuracy and hardware feasibility in embedded agricultural IoT applications.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of hyperparameter optimization on the performance of four machine learning algorithms—Extra Trees, XGBoost, Random Forest, and AdaBoost—in heart disease prediction. The results show that hyperparameter tuning significantly improves model performance for three out of the four algorithms, with varying effects across models. Extra Trees demonstrates the most consistent improvement, achieving the highest Area Under the Curve (AUC) of 0.9107 and a recall of 80.93%, which is particularly crucial in medical contexts for accurately identifying disease cases. XGBoost exhibits the largest increase in accuracy, rising from 78.11% to 81.49%, while Random Forest shows improvements in both recall and F1-score. In contrast, AdaBoost experiences a slight decline in performance, suggesting that the model was already near optimal prior to tuning. Overall, Extra Trees with hyperparameter optimization emerges as the best-performing algorithm for heart disease prediction, offering high reliability in identifying at-risk patients.
