Abstract

Background: Resistance of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis is a condition in which Anti-Tuberculosis (OAT) drugs are unable to kill the Mycobacterium Tuberculosis germs. One type of resistance is Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis. Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB) is TB caused by TB bacteria that are resistant to 2 types of OAT, namely INH and Rifampin. The consequences if resistance to OAT are deterioration of health, increased costs, prolonged treatment, high rates of therapy failure and death. Objective: This study aimed to determine relationship between age, gender, educational level, occupational, and knowledge level about multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) among tuberculosis patients at the Kanigaran Public Health Center, Probolinggo City. Methods: This study used a cross sectional research design with a sample of 60 respondents with pulmonary TB undergoing treatment at the Kanigaran Public Health Center, Probolinggo City. Data was collected using a questionnaire with an ordinal scale which was then analyzed using the Spearman Rank statistical test. Result: Based on the research results, it was found that only age and educational level had a relationship with knowledge level (r = -.291, p = .024; r = .470, p = .000; respectively). Conclusion: The level of knowledge of TB patients about multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) can be influenced by education level and age, so that health workers can provide an understanding related to MDR-TB according to the level of education and age of the TB patient.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the constitutional responsibility for food sovereignty and self-reliance as regulated in Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation. The type of research used is normative research with a statute approach and conceptual approach. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the enactment of Law No. 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation, especially in terms of food, has implications for the goals of food sovereignty and self-reliance in Indonesia, which were previously stipulated in Law No. 18 of 2012 concerning Food. It is feared that this will affect the decline in farmers' welfare levels due to the absence of restrictions on food imports. The position of food imports parallel to domestic production and national food reserves no longer reflects the essence of food sovereignty. In this problem, the constitutional responsibility related to food sovereignty is to review Law No. 6 of 2023 on Job Creation to ensure the achievement of public welfare.

Abstract

Mengembangkan kompetensi komunikasi antarbudaya (ICC) sangat penting dalam pengajaran bahasa asing karena berdampak signifikan pada pembelajaran di kelas multikultural. Mengajar bahasa asing memerlukan pengajaran bahasa dengan budayanya yang khas yang menggabungkan agama, jenis kelamin, dan seperangkat kepercayaan seseorang. Oleh karena itu, ICC telah menjadi tujuan utama pengajaran/instruktur bahasa asing. Meskipun bahasa dan budaya begitu terkait sehingga yang satu tidak dapat hidup tanpa yang lain, bahasa masih diajarkan sebagai fenomena yang terpisah dari budaya). Mengikuti model ICC7 penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi manfaat dan tantangan kompetensi komunikasi antarbudaya di kelas bahasa asing melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dari 9 mahasiswa internasional (dari lima negara berbeda) yang terdaftar dalam kursus Pashto, Urdu, dan Inggris. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa (i) mahasiswa menjadi tahu tentang berbagai budaya, bahasa, nilai-nilai budaya, adat istiadat, dan tradisi; (ii) ICC menimbulkan hambatan pembelajaran bahasa, keterasingan budaya, dan kesulitan dalam mempelajari dan memahami budaya dan norma sosial orang lain; (iii) namun, siswa mengembangkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran dan pengetahuan tentang budaya orang lain dan mengembangkan keterampilan literasi di kelas bahasa asing melalui ICC.

Abstract

Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu penyakit keganasan yang paling sering menyerang wanita dan menjadi penyebab kematian utama akibat kanker di dunia. Di Indonesia, insiden kanker payudara menduduki peringkat kedua setelah kanker serviks, dengan angka kejadian yang terus meningkat. Kanker ini berasal dari jaringan epitel duktus atau lobulus payudara, yang dapat menyebar ke bagian tubuh lainnya. Penyebab tingginya angka kejadian kanker payudara antara lain adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya deteksi dini, keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang gejala dan faktor risiko, serta perubahan gaya hidup yang tidak sehat. Upaya deteksi dini seperti Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri (SADARI) dan mammografi sangat penting untuk mendeteksi keberadaan kanker pada tahap awal. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang deteksi dini kanker payudara melalui program penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan di Pimpinan Ranting Aisyiyah (PRA) Nogotirto. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini melibatkan penyuluhan interaktif dengan ceramah dan diskusi, dilengkapi dengan media edukasi seperti poster, presentasi PowerPoint, dan video. Kegiatan ini mencakup survei awal untuk memahami tingkat pengetahuan peserta, penyampaian materi, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan nilai pre test sebesar 65% dan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan, kemudian dilakukan post test, nilai post test meningkat menjadi 85%. Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20%. Peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta tentang gejala, faktor risiko, dan langkah-langkah deteksi dini kanker payudara. Peserta mampu menjelaskan ulang materi yang disampaikan dengan benar, menunjukkan efektivitas pendekatan edukatif ini dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan. Kesimpulannya, penyuluhan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan ibu-ibu PRA Nogotirto tentang deteksi dini kanker payudara. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik, diharapkan mereka dapat rutin melakukan SADARI dan lebih waspada terhadap kesehatan payudara mereka.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Artikel ini membahas inisiatif optimalisasi pencegahan stunting di Desa Disanah, Kecamatan Sreseh, Kabupaten Sampang, dengan fokus pada peningkatan sumber daya manusia (SDM) dan pembentukan desa peduli stunting. Melalui Program Sosialisasi dan Pendampingan Tata Kelola Dapur Sehat (DAHSYAT), upaya pencegahan stunting dilakukan dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam pengelolaan gizi dan kesehatan keluarga. Program ini mencakup penyuluhan gizi, serta pendampingan dalam tata kelola dapur sehat untuk meningkatkan pola makan dan kebersihan. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah penurunan angka stunting, peningkatan kesadaran gizi di kalangan masyarakat, serta terbentuknya desa yang lebih peduli terhadap kesehatan anak-anak. Artikel ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendekatan berbasis komunitas dan pelatihan berkelanjutan dalam menciptakan perubahan positif di tingkat desa untuk mencegah stunting secara efektif.

Abstract

Leprosy is an infectious disease that causes very complex problems. The problem that is needed is not only from a medical point of view but also extends to social, economic problems for sufferers, thus allowing a change in the self-esteem of lepers. In this study, researchers used a Pre-trial research design (One-group Pre-test-post test Design). Taking respondents in this study used a consecutive sample technique in which the sample was patients in Sumber Glagah Leprosy Hospital, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency, which corresponded to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 30 respondents. The results showed that respondents' self-esteem before counseling was mostly moderate for 26 respondents (86.7%), the self-esteem of respondents after counseling was mostly 20 respondents (66.7%). To analyze the differences in influence on increasing self-esteem, a T test was conducted using SPSS, obtained α = 0,000, where α <0.05, which means H1 was accepted or there was an increase in self-esteem at the Sumber Glagah Pacet Hospital Mojokerto. This involves the counseling factor itself that supports patient knowledge and is an application of the relationship between nurses and patients, so this counseling needs to be supported and programmed to improve patient effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of the Physical and Sports Physical Education teacher at MTsS Nurul Iman Dharmasraya Regency based on pedagogic, personality, social and professional competence.The research method used is qualitative. The informants in this study were the principal, teachers, school supervisors, the community, and students. Data were obtained by observation, interview and documentation techniques. And data analysis techniques used are using triangulation.  The results showed that: 1) Based on the Pedagogic performance of Physical and Sports Physical Education Teachers in Nurul Iman Private Madrasah Stanawiyah categorized as not good. 2) Based on personality, the performance of the Physical and Physical Education Teachers in Madrasah Stanawiyah Private Nurul Iman is categorized as good. 3) Based on social competence, theperformance of Physical and Sports Physical Education Teachers in the Private Nurawi Iman Madrasah Stanawiyah is categorized as not good. 4) Based on the professional competence the performance of the Physical and Physical Education Teachers in the Madrasah Stanawiyah Private Nurul Iman in professional competencies is categorized as not good.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance (case study on PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU III Plaju). The population in this study is all employees at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU III Plaju as many as 868 employees in 2024. The sample used in this study was 148 respondents using the proportional random sampling method in determining the sample. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that work motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation is expected for PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU III Plaju to form work team members that need to be adjusted to the appropriate level of education, appropriate work experience, and additional skills possessed by employees. Work discipline, the application of sanctions for employees who have been warned not to repeat their mistakes. In addition, the use of protective equipment at work needs to be maintained to avoid work accidents.

Abstract

Embung Raja Village is one of the villages in the Terara sub-district, East Lombok. Based on the geographical location of this village, this village has abundant natural resource potential, including in the agricultural and fisheries sectors. Based on the results of a survey conducted, the challenge that is still felt by the local community is that the existing natural resources have not been utilized. The potential is in the field of fisheries, in this community service we initiated training on making fish balls in partnership with PKK women with the hope that it can be developed as a form of business for the Embung Raja village community. The series of training activities started with introducing the virtues of tilapia meat and continued with making meatballs and the packaging process using a vacuum seal. The market segmentation that is our target consumer is children and adults.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of appellate remedies in divorce cases as a legal mechanism that protects individuals who disagree with or are dissatisfied by decisions made by the court of first instance. Within the framework of Indonesia’s civil procedural law, appeals function as a corrective measure to address potential judicial errors in the application of law or the evaluation of facts. The research focuses on the normative legal basis of the appellate process as regulated in the Herziene Indonesisch Reglement (HIR), Rechtsreglement voor de Buitengewesten (RBg), Law Number 48 of 2009 on Judicial Power, and the amended Law Number 7 of 1989 concerning Religious Courts. Additionally, the study examines the implementation of Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) Number 1 of 2019, which introduces the use of electronic systems for filing appeals. Appeals in divorce cases are commonly initiated due to disputes over divorce rulings, child custody, division of marital property, or alimony determinations considered disproportionate. This research employs a normative juridical approach with qualitative analysis, relying on secondary data sources including primary legal materials such as statutes and court decisions, as well as secondary sources like legal literature and academic journals. The findings indicate that the appellate mechanism plays a vital role in ensuring tiered justice and provides an important avenue for parties who feel aggrieved to seek a review of decisions perceived as legally or substantively flawed.
