Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of a modified game-based physical fitness learning model (MOFIT) for junior high school students through a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. The study was implemented in three junior high schools in Ciputat District, namely SMP Waskito, SMP Anugerah Abadi, and SMPN 9 Kota Tangerang Selatan, involving 90 students selected through cluster random sampling. Data collection was conducted using adapted physical fitness test instruments (Harvard Step Test, Wall Squat Test, Press-ups Test, Sit and Reach Test) and student/teacher response questionnaires. The research findings showed significant improvements in all targeted physical fitness components: cardiovascular endurance (average decrease of 29.078 bpm, p < .001), muscle strength (average increase of 19.200 seconds, p < .001), muscle endurance (average increase of 7.622 repetitions, p < .001), and flexibility (average increase of 3.002 cm, p < .001). Student responses showed a very high level of acceptance (91.7% approval), with increased enthusiasm (96.7%) and enjoyment (95.6%). Teachers reported the model as adaptable to variations in school facilities. The MOFIT model proved effective in improving physical fitness while facilitating student engagement, offering a viable alternative to conventional methods in physical education.

Abstract

This study originated from the problem of low learning outcomes in long jump and monotonous conventional methods. An initial survey in West Bekasi District revealed that 76.54% of students had not achieved the minimum passing criteria, supported by findings that boring learning was the main cause. The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of a play-based long jump learning model specifically designed for fifth-grade students. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall model, which included validation by nine experts (athletics, physical education, and play experts), a small-scale trial (25 students), a large-scale trial (45 students), and an effectiveness test with a quasi-experimental design (60 students divided into experimental and control groups). The research results successfully produced 16 structured game models based on the stages of the long jump technique. Expert validation placed the product in the “very good” category (average score of 4.22). The effectiveness test showed a very significant increase in the experimental group with an N-Gain of 76.75% (effective), while the control group only had an increase of 8.13% (ineffective). In conclusion, this play-based long jump learning model has been proven to be very effective, feasible, and can be implemented as an innovative solution to improve the quality of physical education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between arm muscle power, eye-hand coordination, and achievement motivation with the smash skills of U15 badminton athletes. The method used is quantitative with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 40 athletes from PB Jaya Raya Ragunan, which were taken using total sampling. Data were collected using a Chronojump Linear Encoder for explosive strength, a modified alternate hand wall toss test for coordination, an achievement motivation questionnaire, and a PBSI smash skill test. The results showed a positive and significant individual relationship between arm muscle explosive power (r=0.741), hand-eye coordination (r=0.735), and achievement motivation (r=0.455) with smash skills. Multiple regression analysis revealed a much stronger simultaneous relationship, with a multiple correlation coefficient (R) of 0.883. The three variables together explained 77.9% of the variance in smash skills (R²=0.779), indicating a strong synergistic effect when the three components were developed in an integrated manner. In conclusion, effective coaching of U15 athletes requires a holistic approach that systematically integrates explosive power training, coordination, and achievement motivation reinforcement to optimize smash skills as a competitive foundation at higher levels.

Abstract

The book Adab Al-'Alim wa Al-Muta'allim by KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari is one of the important works in the tradition of Islamic education, especially in the context of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. This book discusses the ethics and manners of an alim (scholar) and student in the teaching and learning process. One of the important aspects in this book is the method of understanding the hadith presented by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari. Hasyim Asy'ari emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach in understanding hadith, which includes several main methods, namely the Ijtihad approach, the muqaranah approach between verses and hadiths, the bayan approach through the atsar of companions, the qaul of salafus salih scholars, and verses to help understand the meaning. Through this book, KH. Hasyim Ash'ari shows that understanding hadith requires not only mastery of linguistics, but also extensive knowledge of the social context, and principles of Islamic law. This book is an important reference in teaching hadith in Islamic boarding schools and other Islamic religious institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Portable near-infrared (NIR) spectrometers may examine samples directly on-site, speeding up data gathering. However, the NIR spectrometer has a limited wavelength, ranging from 740 to 1,070 nm, whereas previous studies used a longer wavelength. The research aims to determine the fermentation index, pH, and moisture content of fermented dry cocoa beans using a portable Near-Infrared (NIR) spectrometer. The NIR spectra were preprocessed using several methods, including the Savitzky-Golay first and second derivatives (SG 1 and SG2), Linear Baseline Correction (LBC), Multiplicative Scatter Correction (MSC), comparative Partial Least Square Regression (PLSR) modeling, and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). To simulate different fermentation levels, unfermented cacao beans underwent pretreatment fermentation for durations of 0, 24, 48, and 72 hours. The prediction outcomes of ANN models, when applied to dried fermented cocoa beans with data preprocessing, offered better results in comparison to PLSR models, with strong correlation, lowest RMSEC, and highest residual predictive value. The most effective method for predicting fermentation index was ANN combined with LBC preprocessing, while optimal pH models were applied using the SG2 method. The effective moisture content models were developed using MSC preprocessing. The analytical approach of portable NIR spectroscopy produced rapid and accurate results to determine the quality of ground-dried cacao bean fermentation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the use of SE-TG (Sport Education Model-Traditional Games) used in physical education learning at SMK 45 Lembang on Self-Eficacy. The research methodology used is Experimental Designs with Random Assignment sampling. The population in this study were 10 grade XI students of SMK 45 Lembang, totaling 300 people. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling technique, so that 60 students were randomly taken and divided into two groups, where 30 students studied with SE-TG and 30 students studied with the conventional model. The results showed that in the Experimental group, the t-value -4.271, P Value 0.000 and in the control group, the t-value -0.410, P Value 0.681. This means that there was an increase in Self-Eficacy in the experimental group and there was no increase in Self-Eficacy in the control group. The results of the difference test show that for the Self-Eficacy variable, the Z value is -3.190 with P Value 0.001. This means that SE-TG learning has a better influence on Self-Eficacy than the Conventional Model of students at SMK 45 Lembang. For further research, it is very interesting if the concept of the Sport Education Model in collaboration with Traditional Games (SE-TG) can be applied to other physical education materials such as athletics, small ball games, gymnastics and games in the concept of movement (locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative) so that the research results from this concept become more complete.

Abstract

Halal retail is not only required to sell certified products, but also ensure that pricing and promotion strategies are carried out fairly and transparently so that they are in line with sharia maq??id. This study aims to analyze the practices of discounts, bundling, and loyalty programs in halal retail and assess their suitability with the principles of gharar prevention, property protection, and consumer benefit. The research method used was a qualitative case study through semi-structured interviews with managers and frontline officers, observation of the promotion process at the shelves and cashiers, as well as a review of promotional documents and loyalty program provisions. The results show that discounts are effective in attracting visits, bundling contributes to increased transaction value, and loyalty programs strengthen customer retention. However, a number of risks were found, including inconsistency between labels and systems, unclear conditions, and limited information about unit prices and point validity. As an implementive recommendation, this study offers indicators of promotion governance based on transparency, equity of access, and correction mechanisms. The analytical framework used combines Islamic marketing ethics with Islamic pricing principles to interpret findings and formulate operational improvements that can be audited periodically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pattern of agricultural land rental that occurs in the community and examine its suitability with the principles of the ijarah contract from an Islamic perspective. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a field study approach (Field Research). Data were obtained through observation, documentation and in-depth interviews with farmers or land tenants. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the system used by land tenants is to use an annual rental pattern system, a seasonal intercropping system with the main commodity being rice. In practice, it generally uses verbal agreements based on trust. Among the villages studied, there are differences in price due to factors such as soil fertility quality and irrigation access. There are several factors that influence land rental, namely land conditions and water availability, social relations between owners and tenants and religious factors. Viewed from an Islamic perspective, this agricultural land rental pattern can generally be justified as long as it meets the pillars and requirements of the ijarah contract, such as clarity of the lease object, the contract is carried out with the consent of both parties, and the practice takes place in the context of mutual assistance and mutual respect for each other. However, there needs to be an increase in public understanding about the importance of transparency and clarity of rental contracts in order to avoid practices that lead to gharar (unclarity) and potential disputes in the future.
