Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze in depth the influence of training on service quality, the influence of competence on service quality, and the simultaneous influence of training and competence on service quality at the Jakarta Islamic Hospital Pondok Kopi. This study uses a quantitative approach, namely an approach that emphasizes the collection and processing of data in the form of numbers so that the results of the analysis can be interpreted objectively and measurably. However, this study is also supplemented by qualitative data as support, such as verbal statements in questionnaires, open comments, and the results of consultations or short interviews between researchers and informants to enrich understanding of the variables studied. The study population amounted to 245 employees, while the sample used was 89 respondents selected based on sampling techniques appropriate to the research needs. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the SPSS version 29 analysis tool, which is able to test the relationship between variables simultaneously and accurately. The results show that training (X1) and competence (X2) have a positive and significant influence on service quality (Y) partially. Furthermore, the R-Square test result of 0.402 indicates that 40.2% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 59.8% is influenced by factors outside this study. This finding emphasizes the importance of improving training and competency for service quality

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a multicultural curriculum integrated within an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework in higher education. While previous studies have explored OBE and multicultural education separately, limited research has addressed their integration in Islamic higher education contexts. This study aims to analyze the implementation, benefits, and challenges of an OBE-based multicultural curriculum at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Indonesia. A qualitative approach was employed using semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the integration of multicultural values into the OBE framework enhances graduate competencies by aligning academic, social, and spiritual dimensions. The curriculum is characterized by the integration of unity of sciences, Islamic moderation, and green campus principles. However, the implementation faces challenges such as limited resources, lecturer readiness, and the complexity of outcome-based assessment. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical insights into how multicultural education can be systematically integrated within an OBE framework to support the development of adaptive, value-based graduates in higher education.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the design of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and holistic evaluation methods in elementary schools, with a focus on implementation in Indonesia and lessons from global practices. The research employed a systematic literature review method, analyzing 25 sources published between 2010 and 2025, selected based on their relevance to CBC and holistic assessment. The sources included journal articles, books, and official reports accessed through Google Scholar, Scopus, and local repositories. Data were collected from written documents and analyzed using thematic coding techniques. The results show that CBC in elementary education is effective in integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies through contextual and student-centered thematic approaches. Holistic evaluation methods, such as authentic and formative assessments, are more appropriate for elementary students compared to traditional testing systems. However, key challenges in implementation include limited teacher training, uneven infrastructure, restricted access to technology, and an education culture still focused on memorization. In conclusion, the successful implementation of CBC requires strong policy support, improved teacher capacity, technological integration, and stakeholder involvement to achieve inclusive and sustainable elementary education.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum based on the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product) and to identify its implications for the Merdeka Curriculum. The research employed a qualitative approach using a literature study method, drawing on relevant books, scientific articles, and theses. The findings indicate that the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum still faces several challenges, such as teachers’ limited readiness to understand curriculum changes, inadequate learning facilities, and rigid implementation that has not fully supported meaningful learning. Therefore, its implications for the Merdeka Curriculum highlight the need for curriculum simplification, strengthening teacher competencies, and increasing flexibility in the learning process to make it more adaptive to school contexts as well as students’ needs and characteristics.

Abstract

Curriculum development is a key element in education, particularly at the elementary school level. A well-designed curriculum must be able to respond to contemporary challenges and prepare students with comprehensive 21st-century competencies. This study employed a qualitative descriptive literature review method to examine innovative strategies in elementary school curriculum development. The main focus is on the implementation of innovative learning models such as Student-Centered Learning (SCL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and Project-Based Learning (PjBL), which emphasize creativity, collaboration, and active student engagement. Curriculum development is not only a technical process but also contains anticipatory values toward social change and technological advancement. The success of curriculum innovation depends heavily on collaboration among stakeholders, including teachers, students, principals, and the community. The application of these innovative strategies is expected to improve learning quality, character development, and students’ life skills. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of continuous and innovative curriculum strategies as a response to global challenges and rapid changes in order to achieve better educational quality.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy represents a strategic initiative to transform higher education by enhancing the relevance of graduates to societal and professional demands. The Elementary Islamic School Teacher Education Program (PGMI) has distinctive characteristics that require contextualized implementation of MBKM aligned with the values and practices of madrasah education. This article aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of implementing MBKM in PGMI programs through a literature review. The research employed a non-PRISMA literature review method by examining relevant journal articles, conference proceedings, and policy documents published between 2015 and 2025. Data were collected through systematic literature searching and analyzed using content and thematic analysis techniques. The findings indicate that MBKM implementation in PGMI offers significant opportunities for strengthening pedagogical and professional competencies of prospective teachers, developing soft skills, promoting experiential and contextual learning, and expanding collaboration with madrasa partners. However, several major challenges were identified, including limited curriculum and lecturer readiness, issues related to credit recognition and conversion, constraints in madrasa partnerships, and the need to harmonize MBKM policies with the distinctive characteristics of Islamic education. The study concludes that the successful implementation of MBKM in PGMI programs depends on adaptive planning, institutional support, and the development of contextual MBKM implementation models that are responsive to the needs of madrasah-based teacher education.
