Abstract

Penambahan campuran kaolin sebesar 5% sampai 15% mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja beton antara 0,15 % sampai dengan 30 % dari kuat tekan beton normal. Pemanasan 100oC, pemberian campuran kaolin sebesar 5% sampai 15% mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja beton sebesar 10% sampai 36 % dari kuat tekan beton normal. Pemanasan 150oC, pemberian campuran kaolin sebesar 5% sampai 15% mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja beton sebesar 7% sampai 38 % dari kuat tekan beton normal. Pemanasan 100oC dan 150oC, mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja sebesar 0.62% sampai 5.5% dari kuat tekan rata-rata beton tanpa pemanasan. Campuran beton kaolin 5 %, pemanasan 100oC dan 150oC, mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja sebesar 10% sampai 12% dari kuat tekan rata-rata beton tanpa pemanasan. Campuran beton kaolin 10 %, pemanasan 100oC dan 150oC, mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja sebesar 2% sampai 10% dari kuat tekan rata-rata beton tanpa pemanasan. Abstract

ABSTRAKKomposisi campuran bahan penyusun beton (semen, agregat kasar, agregat halus, air dan aditif) sangat mempengaruhi kekuatan beton struktur. Dengan demikian diperlukan perencanaan campuran (mix design) agar beton dapat memenuhi spesifikasi teknik yang ditentukan. Penelitian mengenai kuat tekan beton dengan menggunakan agregat pecahan genteng press jatiwangi dan bahan additive bermerk damdex pada campuran beton dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari masing-masing bahan terhadap kuat tekan beton. Sampel dibuat dengan berdasarkan perhitungan campuran beton metode British DOE, dengan perbedaan pada kadar agregat. Berdasarkan hasil uji kuat tekan beton rata – rata pada sampel dengan penambahan agregat kasar genteng press jatiwangi sebanyak 40% dan bahan additive damdex sebesar 1,5%, terjadi peningkatan kuat tekan beton sebesar 92,41%, dan pada sampel dengan penambahan agregat kasar genteng press jatiwangi sebanyak 50% dan bahan additive damdex sebesar 2,5%, terjadi peningkatan kuat tekan beton sebesar 87,18%. Dari hasil kuat tekan beton rata – rata yang diperoleh tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan bahan genteng press Jatiwangi dan bahan additive damdex pada campuran beton dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan beton.Kata Kunci: kuat tekan beton, agregat kasar, genteng press Jatiwangi, DamdexABSTRACTThe composition of the mixture of concrete ingredients (cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, water and additives) greatly affects the strength of the concrete structure. Thus, a mix design is required so that the concrete can meet the specified technical specifications. Research on the compressive strength of concrete using Jatiwangi roof-tile aggregate and additive Damdex in the concrete mixture was carried out to determine the effect of each material on the compressive strength of the concrete. The samples were made based on the calculation of the British DOE concrete mixture with differences in aggregate content. Based on the results of the average concrete compressive strength test, in the sample with the addition 40%  coarse aggregate of Jatiwangi roof-tile and additive damdex by 1.5%, there was an increase in the compressive strength of the concrete by 92.41%, and in the sample with the addition 50% coarse aggregate of Jatiwangi roof-tile and additive damdex by 2.5%, there was an increase in the compressive strength of the concrete by 87.18%. From the results of the average compressive strength of the concrete obtained, it can be concluded that the addition of Jatiwangi rooof-tile and additive damdex to the concrete mixture can increase the compressive strength of the concrete.Key words: concrete compressive strength, coarse aggregate, Jatiwangi roof-tile, Damdex.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDinding penahan tanah adalah suatu struktur yang dibangun untuk menahan tanah lateral ketika tanah mengalami perubahan dalam elevasi, dan melampaui sudut geser dalam tanah. Dinding pengaman tebingan yang terletak tepat di Situ Bala, Desa Purwasari, Kecamatan Dramaga telah mengalami kerusakan pada bagian dasar strukturnya terutama pada bagian yang terkena sistem irigasi sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan terhadap dinding penahan tanah eksisting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kondisi lereng akibat tergerus oleh aliran udara yang mengakibatkan terjadinya longsor, merencanakan dinding penahan tanah agar memiliki faktor keamanan yang cukup, dan menghitung kapasitas daya dukung tanah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Rankine .Hasil analisis menunjukkan perlindungan terhadap guling Fs= 0.86 < 1,5 (tidak aman terhadap geser Fs = 2.5119 > 1,5 (aman), dan analisis ketahanan daya dukung tanah qtoe = 12419.5895 < Qall= 4139.8631 (aman) dan qhell = 31.4263 (aman).  Kata kunci: Stabilitas, dinding penahan tanah , Metode Rankine ABSTRAKA retaining wall is a structure constructed to resist lateral soil when the soil undergoes a change in elevation and exceeds the angle of shear in the soil. The cliff safety wall which is located right at Situ Bala, Purwasari Village, Dramaga District, has suffered damage to the basic part of the structure, especially the part affected by the irrigation canal so that it is necessary to repair the existing retaining wall. The purpose of this study was to analyze the condition of the slope, where the air flow above it eroded which resulted in landslides changing the channel so that it was necessary to redesign the existing retaining wall, plan the retaining wall to be safe against shear conditions, overturning, and the carrying capacity of the soil. The method used in this study is the Rankine Method. The results of the analysis show resistance to overturning Fs= 0.86 < 1.5 (unsafe against shear Fs = 2.5119 > 1.5 (safe), and soil bearing capacity analysis qtoe = 12419.5895 < Qall= 4139.8631 (safe) and qhell = 31.4263 ( safe). Kata kunci: Stabilitas, dinding penahan tanah, Metode Rankine

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of integrating Business English and soft skills in improving the competence of graduates at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Madura. By adopting a qualitative approach, this study revealed the perceptions of students and graduates regarding the relevance of these two skills in the world of work. The results show that graduates who participated in this integrated program are more confident and able to communicate effectively, both in English and interpersonal contexts. However, challenges remain in implementing this program, including limited resources and relevant teaching materials. Therefore, it is recommended that FETT Universitas Madura design a more comprehensive training program for lecturers and periodically update the curriculum in line with industry developments. This research also shows that mastery of English and soft skills not only increases the competitiveness of graduates in the job market but also contributes to the professionalism and effectiveness of teaching in the educational environment. The integration of these two skills is expected to be a model for other educational institutions to prepare competent educators who are ready to face challenges in the global era.

Abstract

Purpose: The local food processing business is essential to the Indonesian economy. Lumpangan Village in Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi, has great potential due to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) product "SEHATI," which manufactures Marning Corn. However, the need on sunshine for drying limits production, reducing output during the rainy season. To address this issue, the Akademi Komunitas Industri Manufaktur Bantaeng community service programme strives to improve corn product quality through the use of mechanical dryers and the education of workers on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Methodology: This program's methodology comprises collaborating with village officials, observing SMEs, developing solutions, implementing the community service programme, and assessing the program's success. Results: Observations show that mechanical dryers are successful in resolving drying problems, and GMP education enhances product quality. Conclusions: The service program was successful in raising the marning corn production by UMKM "SEHATI" and establishing the program as a long-term initiative. In addition, the program received the full support of village officials by the successful in overcoming production constraints during the rainy season through the purchase of corn dryers and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) education. Limitations: Prior to deployment, the primary drawback was a reliance on dry weather conditions. Contributions: This programme makes a substantial contribution, with the expectation that its long-term success will help to create other SMEs in Lumpangan Village and increase the quality of Marning corn products through better drying technology and worker education.

Abstract

Encyclopedia is a summary that contains information on the field of science being discussed. Nature is everything that exists on this earth, be it geology or the living things in it. But in this modern era, there is still no special application that helps to access knowledge and information related to nature. Searching for information about nature through browsing has to go through different web pages, this is not very effective because it takes time and is certainly not efficient. The solution to the problem is with the Natural Encyclopedia search application which uses a string matching algorithm, which is an algorithm that can search for words (patterns) in a text sentence (string) to find a word and display a word found in the text. Winnowing algorithm is used in similarity detection using hashing function. Winnowing is an algorithm used to perform the document fingerprinting process.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work ethics, work stress and workload on employee job satisfaction at PT. Nusantara Beta Farma Padang Pariaman. This type of research is associative research, namely research that asks about the relationship between two or more variables. It was found that the work ethics variable had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Job stress has a negative and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Workload has a negative and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Work ethics, work stress and workload simultaneously have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. the contribution of work ethics, work stress and workload influence job satisfaction at PT. Nusantara Beta Farma Padang Pariaman is 38.5% while the rest is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The attendance tracking process for village officials in Sogaan Village has traditionally been conducted manually, leading to issues such as data inaccuracies, delayed reporting, and time wastage. This study aims to design and implement an Android-based Online Attendance System for Sogaan Village officials to address these problems. The research methodology consists of three main stages. First, a needs analysis was conducted through interviews and observations with village officials to identify required features. Second, system design was carried out, including user interface development, attendance feature configuration, and integration with a database for attendance data management. Third, the application was implemented using Android technology, involving system testing to ensure functionality and reliability. The goal of this research is to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the attendance process for village officials. By utilizing an Android-based application, the system is expected to facilitate real-time attendance tracking, reduce manual errors, and simplify reporting and monitoring. Additionally, the system aims to improve transparency and accountability in attendance administration for village officials.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills by enhancing their intrinsic motivation to learn. It compares the effects of three instructional models PBL (Problem Based Learning), DL (Discovery Learning), and Direct Instruction (DI) on students’ mathematical critical thinking across four levels of intrinsic motivation: high, medium, low, and overall. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The sample consisted of 75 seventh-grade students: 25 students each from classes VII A and VII B as experimental groups using PBL and DL models, and 25 students from class VII C as the control group using DI. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. Results indicate that PBL significantly outperforms DL in improving students’ mathematical critical thinking skills. In turn, DL shows a more pronounced effect compared to DI. Intrinsic motivation plays a crucial role: students with high and medium levels of motivation benefit the most, while those with low motivation show weaker outcomes. A significant interaction effect was found between the type of instructional model and the level of intrinsic motivation, suggesting that the choice of instructional model should consider students' motivational profiles. These findings imply that instructional strategies tailored to students' motivation levels can significantly enhance mathematical critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of good corporate governance as proxied through independent commissioners, institutional ownership, managerial ownership and audit committees on company performance by manufacturing companies listed on the Bursa Efek Indonesia in 2019-2021. The independent variables used are independent board of commissioners as measured by comparing the number of independent commissioners and the total number of commissioners, then institutional ownership as measured by comparing the number of shares owned by the institution and the number of shares outstanding, then managerial ownership as measured by comparing the number of shares managerial ownership and the number of shares outstanding, and the audit committee as measured by the number of audit committees. The dependent variable used is company’s performance as measured using the Return On Assets (ROA) by comparing the amount of net profit after tax and total assets. Test were carried out using SmartPLS. The results obtained from this study are the independent commissioners and the aduit committee have a significant effect on company performance, while institusinal ownership and managerial ownership have no significant effect on company performance.
