Abstract

GRDP counting based on chain value method is important to be known by Surakarta’s and Sukoharjo’s stakeholders. The provided data can accompany GRDP counting based on current and constant price methods so that the macro economy of Surakarta and Sukoharjo is described well. The aim of this public serving is to raise the know-how of Surakarta and Sukoharjo Statistics through motivation encouraging, strengthening and sustaining of GRDP chain value method counting. The public service method is an assistancy method by offering discussion, practising and performing a simple ‘animation’ of GRDP counting using chain value method. The result shows that discussion encourages motivation of GRDP counting using chain value method. The result also shows that practicing and performing a simple ‘animation’ of GRDP counting using chain value method do not strengthen and sustain the motivation to raise the know-how. Performing the microsoft powerpoint presentation as a simple ‘animation’ is too simple to sustain the know-how of GRDP counting using value chain method. Therefore, the public serving can motivate the Surakarta and Sukoharjo Statistics, but cannot strengthen and sustain the motivation to raise know-how of GRDP counting using chain value method

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has driven the digitalization of accounting systems as a strategic tool to enhance the operational efficiency of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital economy era. This study aims to analyze the impact of accounting system digitalization on MSMEs’ operational efficiency and to identify factors influencing its implementation. Using a qualitative library research method, this study systematically reviews relevant national and international literature published over the last decade. The findings indicate that digital accounting systems significantly improve time and cost efficiency through automation, enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, and support more effective managerial decision-making. However, the effectiveness of digitalization is mediated by factors such as digital literacy, managerial support, innovation capability, and regulatory environment. This study concludes that accounting digitalization represents a strategic organizational transformation essential for improving MSMEs’ operational efficiency and competitiveness in the digital economy.

Abstract

Functionally graded aluminum matrices produced by means of centrifugal casting offer a route to location-specific properties, yet sustainable feedstocks and dual-density reinforcements are less well explored. In this work, we evaluate vertical centrifugal casting (VCC) of a remelted, recycled piston alloy reinforced with silica (SiO₂) and copper (Cu) particulates selected for their contrasting densities relative to the matrix. Castings were produced at 1000 rpm for 5 minutes using a 500 °C preheated mold and an 800 °C pour temperature. Cu was added at 1–4 wt.% and SiO₂ was added at 0–9 wt.%. Bulk density/porosity measurements, Vickers hardness testing, and optical/SEM microstructural analysis were employed to characterize the resulting gradients. The density increased with the radial distance from the rotation axis, accompanied by a monotonic decrease in porosity, consistent with centrifugal separation. Microstructurally, SiO₂ concentrated toward the inner region near the rotation center; in comparison, Cu was enriched at the outer periphery. Correspondingly, hardness exhibited a spatial gradient: SiO₂-reinforced zones were hardest near the inner region, whereas Cu-rich outer zones were hardest at the external rim. These results demonstrate that VCC of a recycled Al–Si feedstock can be used to reliably tailor its microstructure and properties through density-driven particle segregation, enabling controllable, bidirectional functional grading using environmentally friendly starting materials.

Abstract

Basic literacy skills, particularly reading and speaking, play an important role in supporting students’ academic and social development in elementary school. Low reading interest and limited speaking skills are still commonly found among early grade students. This study aimed to describe the implementation of storytelling techniques in improving reading interest and speaking skills of first-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Barenglor. The research employed a qualitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 28 first-grade students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, speaking tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative and simple quantitative analysis through mean scores and percentages. The results showed that the implementation of storytelling techniques improved students’ reading interest and speaking skills. The average score of reading interest increased from 46.55 in the pre-action stage to 54.40 in Cycle I and 72.44 in Cycle II. The percentage of students with high reading interest also increased to 78.57%. Speaking skills improved as indicated by the increase in the average score from 47.27 in the pre-action stage to 57.76 in Cycle I and 75.84 in Cycle II, with 75% of students reaching the high category. These findings indicate that storytelling techniques are effective in improving reading interest and speaking skills of early grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital, credit risk, and liquidity on financial performance, with financial technology as a moderating variable in conventional banking companies in Indonesia. This research is based on the Resource-Based View, which emphasizes the importance of managing internal resources to achieve competitive advantage. The population characteristics of conventional commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. Using purposive sampling, 22 banks were selected, resulting in 110 observations. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis with EViews 12. The results indicate that intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, while liquidity has a negative and significant effect. Meanwhile, credit risk does not significantly affect financial performance. Furthermore, financial technology is proven to strengthen the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance. However, financial technology is not able to moderate the relationship between credit risk and liquidity on financial performance. These findings suggest that in the digital transformation era, optimizing intellectual capital supported by financial technology is crucial in improving banking performance. This study contributes to the literature by integrating internal resources and digital transformation in explaining financial performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on investment decisions, with government regulations as a moderation variable. The motivation for this research is the growing investor interest in corporate sustainability practices and the importance of regulation in enhancing the credibility of ESG information in the capital market. This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach. The data used is secondary data obtained from the company's annual reports, sustainability reports, and ESG databases listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2024. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. SPSS 27 was used for data analysis, with Panel data regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) applied. The results show that ESG disclosures have a positive and significant impact on investment decisions. These findings imply that companies with higher levels of ESG disclosure are associated with fewer negative investment responses from investors. In addition, government regulations have been found to strengthen the link between ESG disclosures and investment decisions across environmental, social, and governance dimensions. The results are consistent with the theory of Perceived Firm Legitimacy, which holds that a company's legitimacy increases when it meets the social and regulatory expectations that apply to it. This research theoretically contributes to the development of ESG literature and corporate legitimacy, as well as has practical implications for companies and regulators, by improving the quality of ESG disclosure and the effectiveness of sustainability regulations to support sustainable investments.
