Abstract

Burnout is a psychological problem frequently experienced by healthcare workers due to high work demands, emotional stress, and patient care responsibilities. This study aims to analyze the influence of job strain and defense mechanisms on healthcare worker burnout, with resilience as an intervening variable at Dr. Nur Clinic in Cimahi City. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of healthcare workers working at Dr. Nur Clinic. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) to test the relationship between the research variables. The results showed that job strain significantly influenced resilience, while defense mechanisms also had a significant influence on resilience. Resilience was shown to have a significant influence on healthcare worker burnout. Job strain did not directly influence burnout, while defense mechanisms had a significant effect on burnout. In addition, resilience was shown to mediate the relationship between job strain and defense mechanisms on burnout. The findings of this study indicate that burnout in healthcare workers is not only influenced by work pressure, but also by the individual's psychological ability to deal with work stress. Therefore, strengthening resilience and developing adaptive coping strategies are important to reduce the risk of burnout in healthcare workers.

Abstract

The decline in outpatient visits is a major challenge for regional hospitals amidst increasing competition in healthcare services. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 7P marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence) in increasing outpatient visits at Mayjen HM Ryacudu Regional General Hospital in Kotabumi, Lampung. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with management, medical personnel, and patients, which were then validated through source triangulation, field observation, and documentation. Then, they were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that price and place elements are the hospital's main strengths due to affordable rates and strategic location. However, limited pricing flexibility due to government regulations limits the function of price as a differentiation tool. People and process elements play a significant role in shaping patient perceptions of service quality, while promotion has not been optimally utilized. A SWOT analysis places the hospital in a position that requires aggressive market penetration through service digitalization and physical facility modernization to restore public trust and increase visits by BPJS and general patients. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating all elements of the 7P marketing mix synergistically to increase patient interest in visiting regional hospitals.

Abstract

Efektivitas pelayanan kesehatan di klinik sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan organisasi dalam mengelola pengetahuan dan menerapkan inovasi layanan. Klinik yang mampu mengoptimalkan manajemen pengetahuan dan inovasi layanan cenderung memberikan pelayanan yang lebih efisien, konsisten, dan berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan manajemen pengetahuan, inovasi layanan, serta efektivitas pelayanan, sekaligus menganalisis pengaruh manajemen pengetahuan dan inovasi layanan terhadap efektivitas pelayanan di Klinik Azizah Medika Bandar Lampung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh tenaga kesehatan di Klinik Azizah Medika sebanyak 40 orang dengan teknik total sampel jenuh. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dan dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, serta regresi linier berganda dengan uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen pengetahuan berada pada kategori baik, dan sebagian besar responden menilai efektivitas pelayanan tergolong efektif. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pengetahuan dan inovasi layanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pelayanan. Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan dengan kontribusi sebesar 78,9%. Penguatan manajemen pengetahuan dan pengembangan inovasi layanan menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pelayanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Antenatal care (ANC) services play an important role in maintaining maternal and fetal health. However, the quality of services in primary healthcare facilities is still not optimal, and dissatisfaction among pregnant women has been identified, particularly in aspects of communication, empathy, and waiting time. Data from the Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia indicate that ANC visit coverage has not yet reached the expected targets over the past three years (Ministry of Health, 2022–2024). A preliminary study conducted at Puskesmas Pematang Kandis, Merangin Regency, also revealed complaints from pregnant women regarding inadequate information and limited attention from healthcare providers.This study aims to analyze the relationship between the quality of antenatal care services and the satisfaction of pregnant women at Puskesmas Pematang Kandis, Merangin Regency, in 2024. This study employed a quantitative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 328 pregnant women, with a sample of 77 respondents selected using purposive sampling, based on inclusion criteria of pregnant women who attended ANC visits and were willing to participate. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis (Chi-Square test). The results showed a significant relationship between service quality dimensions, including tangibles (p=0.016), responsiveness (p=0.001), reliability (p=0.031), empathy (p=0.005), and assurance (p=0.003), and the satisfaction of pregnant women. In conclusion, the quality of antenatal care services is significantly associated with the satisfaction of pregnant women. It is recommended that Puskesmas Pematang Kandis improve service quality through effective communication training, enhancement of healthcare providers’ empathy, and improvement of service systems to reduce waiting time

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal's academic supervision and work motivation, both partially and simultaneously, on teacher performance at SMKS Al Ittihad, Karangtengah District, Cianjur Regency. The research used a quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative methods. The study population consisted of all 36 teachers at the school, using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. Basen on the statistic results that Academic supervision has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (t-count = 5.938; Sig. = 0.000), and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (t-count = 3.867; Sig. = 0.000). And Then Academic supervision and work motivation together have a significant effect on teacher performance (F-count = 26.759; Sig. = 0.000) with a contribution of 61.9% (R² = 0.619). The remaining 38.1% is influenced by other factors outside the model. The Conclusion is Teacher performance at SMKS Al Ittihad Cianjur can be significantly improved by enhancing the quality of academic supervision that is developmental in nature and by comprehensively strengthening teacher work motivation. It is recommended that principals integrate both aspects into their strategies for teacher professional development and guidance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of healthcare service quality, healthcare facilities, and community health center (Puskesmas) image on outpatient satisfaction at Sebangki Community Health Center, Landak Regency, West Kalimantan. The research employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 128 outpatient respondents. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that service quality, healthcare facilities, and Puskesmas image have a positive effect on patient satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The findings affirm that patient satisfaction can be enhanced through improvements in service quality, the availability and comfort of facilities, and the strengthening of a positive institutional image in the community. Among the three variables, healthcare service quality showed the lowest average value, suggesting the need for greater attention in continuous improvement efforts. The implications of this study may serve as valuable input for Puskesmas management in formulating more effective service strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Indonesia's technological landscape is in a state of constant evolution, offering both unprecedented opportunities and formidable challenges to businesses. Strategic Human Resource (HR) optimization has emerged as a critical imperative to thrive in this dynamic environment. This research delves into the pivotal role of HR management in achieving sustainable profitability within the Indonesian technological landscape. The study employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative data from surveys and interviews with HR professionals, business leaders, and employees and qualitative data from industry reports and case studies. The findings underscore the importance of strategic HR optimization, revealing four key aspects: the role of HR in technological transformation, addressing the skills gap, promoting diversity and inclusion, and prioritizing employee engagement and well-being. In-depth analysis demonstrates that HR departments are crucial in guiding organizations through digital transformation. Aligning HR strategies with technology adoption leads to higher success rates and reduced resistance to change. Furthermore, a significant skills gap in the workforce demands substantial investment in training and development programs. Embracing diversity and inclusion fosters innovation and competitiveness  while  prioritizing  employee  engagement  and  well-being increases productivity and profitability. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of investment portfolio allocation optimization and corporate performance stability on employee well-being at PT X, a reinsurance brokerage company. The research background is based on the importance of investment management and operational stability in creating sustainable value while enhancing human resource welfare. This study employed a quantitative method using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression, with primary data collected from a survey of 25 employees. The results show that the investment portfolio allocation is categorized as moderate (54.33%) with a positive and significant effect on employee well-being (coefficient 1.322). In contrast, corporate performance stability, also in the moderate category (57.31%), has a negative but insignificant effect (coefficient -0.146). Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect employee well-being with a significance value of 0.000 and an R-square of 0.981, indicating that 98.1% of the variation in employee well-being is explained by the model. The findings conclude that investment portfolio optimization is the dominant factor in improving employee well-being. Meanwhile, corporate performance stability strategies need to be reconsidered to avoid work pressure that may reduce employee welfare. The integration of investment strategy and performance management oriented toward employee well-being is the key to corporate sustainability

Abstract

This research is motivated by the misalignment of admission pathways in the implementation of the New Student Admission System (SPMB) at SMA Negeri 1 Mataram, conducted by the Department of Education and Culture of West Nusa Tenggara Province. This policy is implemented as an effort to promote equitable access to and quality of education across all regions, particularly at the senior secondary education level. The main issues encountered in the implementation of this policy include a surge in applicants to favored schools, public resistance to the zoning system, and various technical and social obstacles. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation for data collection. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, supported by Atlas.ti 25 software to map the findings. The study focuses on (1) the implementation of the SPMB policy, (2) supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation process, and (3) strategies employed to overcome the challenges. The findings reveal that the SPMB policy at SMA Negeri 1 Mataram has been implemented in accordance with guidelines from the Education Department, yet still faces significant challenges such as domicile data manipulation, limited infrastructure, and insufficient public outreach. Key supporting factors include the school's commitment, readiness of the online system, and supportive regulations. Strategies undertaken include enhanced inter-institutional communication, adaptation of admission quota allocation, and improvements to digital services. This research recommends strengthening transparency, equal distribution of facilities across schools, and reinforcing monitoring and regular evaluation systems for the SPMB implementation. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for refining education policies, particularly in ensuring fair and equitable student admissions.
