Abstract

ABSTRACTComposition Of Brick Motif On Baju Kurung BatikBricks are coarse soil that is processed in such a way as to become bricks. The bricks have a block shape and have a rough texture. In the middle of the brick there are 4 (four) holes, these holes are used for air distribution which functions as drying or reducing the water content contained in the bricks, besides that the bricks also have solid and hard properties. The creation of this work begins with the shape of the stylized bricks on each side of the brick. The shape of this brick is composed as a decorative motif on the baju kurung. The process of creating this work goes through three stages, including the exploration stage, which is to see firsthand the process of making bricks. Design by pouring ideas into the form of a sketch which then becomes the chosen design to the realization of the work through the handmade batik technique and then applied to the baju kurung. Creation uses the theory of form, function, color, motif, stylization and aesthetics. The form of the work created is a size S-sized baju kurung using handmade batik techniques. The function of this baju kurung is as clothing for teenage and adult women who are used during formal events or official events. There were five works, with the titles: “Opposite”, “Complexity”, “Scattered”, “Balance”, “Contrast”, “Repetition” and “Simplicity”.Keywords: batik, bricks, baju kurung and motifs. INTI SARIKomposisi Motif Batu BataPada Baju Kurung BatikBatu bata merupakan tanah kasar yang diolah sedemikian rupa hingga menjadi batu bata. Batu bata memiliki bentuk balok dan bertekstur kasar. Pada bagian tengah batu bata terdapat 4 (empat) lubang, lubang ini digunakan untuk penyalur udara yang berfungsi sebagai pengeringan ataupun pengurangan kadar air yang terkandung di dalam batu bata, selain itu batu bata juga memiliki sifat padat dan keras. Penciptaan karya ini berawal dari bentuk batu bata yang sudah distilisasi pada setiap sisi batu bata. Bentuk dari batu bata ini di komposisisikan sebagai motif hias pada baju kurung. Proses penciptaan karya ini melalui tiga tahapan di antaranya, tahap eksplorasi yaitu melihat secara langsung proses pembuatan batu bata. Perancangan dengan menuangkan ide ke bentuk sketsa yang kemudian menjadi desain terpilih hingga perwujudan karya melalui teknik batik tulis lalu diaplikasikan pada baju kurung. Penciptaan menggunakan teori dari bentuk, fungsi, warna, motif, stilisasi dan estetika. Bentuk karya yang diciptakan adalah setelan baju kurung berukuran S menggunakan teknik batik tulis. Fungsi baju kurung ini sebagai pakaian wanita remaja dan dewasa yang digunakan pada saat acara formal atau acara resmi. Jumlah karya yang dibuat sebanyak lima karya, dengan judul yaitu: “Berlawanan”, “Kerumitan”, “Bertaburan”, “Keseimbangan”, “Kontras”, “Pengulangan” dan “Kesederhanaan”.Kata kunci : batik, batu bata, baju kurung dan motif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Surau mempunyai peranan dan fungsi yang disignifikan dalam kebudayaan Minangkabau. Surau yang menjadi acuan penciptaan karya adalah Surau Lubuk Bauk yang terdapat di Nagari Batipuh, Tanah Datar. Konsep perwujudkan karya bersumber dari Surau keselarasan Koto Piliang dengan mengadirkan cerita yang bersumber dari aktivitas Surau keselarasan Koto Piliang. Cerita yang diwujudkan pada relief logam, berupa kegiatan yang terdapat pada Surau tua Lubuk Bauk, seperti mengaji, beladiri, dan gotong-royong. Metode penciptaan karya relief melalui tahapan eksplorasi, perancangan dan perwujudan. Penggarapan karya menggunakan teori, diantaranya bentuk, estetika, fungsi, dan ekspresi. Penggarapan karya menggunakan bahan plat alumunium dan tembaga dengan teknik tatah. Hasil karya relief logam berjumlah lima buah dengan judul yaitu: Mambangun Surau, Mangaji, Basilek I, Basilek II, Basilek III, Judul yang tercipta merupakan gambaran nilai-nilai yang terdapat pada masyarakat Minangkabau diantaranya belajar membaca Al-Qur’an, gotong-royong, dan  pengendalian diri serta bela diri. Kata kunci: Ekspresi , Cerita Surau keselarasan Koto Piliang , dan Relief logam.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the motivations, roles, ideologies and bases of two Acehnese women's movements, namely Inong Balee and Balee Inong. Inong Balee and Balee Inong are interesting to study, considering that these two women's movements are played by grassroots communities in Aceh. This study is a literature research. The results showed that the two basic women's movements were played by grassroots communities even though in their journey these two women's movements opened themselves up to the involvement of highly educated communities. These two women's movements have a very important role in making changes to the conditions of society that are not profitable and marginalized. Ideologically, these two movements are different even though they both have the goal of improving the situation of marginalized communities, Inong Balee has an ideology of ethnic nationalism with the aim of separating himself from the Republic of Indonesia, while Balee Inong has an ideology of injustice and marginalization.

Abstract

The Sumba region, Indonesia, is known for its extraordinary natural beauty and unique cultural richness. There are 19 interesting tourist attractions spread throughout the area, but tourists often face difficulties in planning efficient visiting routes. From this case, it can be solved by applying graph theory in terms of searching for the shortest distance which is completed using the shortest path search algorithm. Then these 19 tourist objects are used to build a weighted graph, where the nodes represent the tourist objects and the edges of the graph describe the distance or travel time between these objects. Therefore, this research aims to compare the shortest path search algorithm with parameters to compare the shortest distance results, algorithm complexity and execution time for tourism in the Sumba area. The results of this research involve a comparison of several shortest path search algorithms, with the aim of finding the shortest distance results, algorithm complexity, and execution time for tourism in the Sumba area. Based on the test results of the five algorithms with the parameters that have been prepared, and the findings show that each algorithm has its own characteristics, the results are as follows: Dijkstra's algorithm can be used to calculate the shortest route for single-source and single-destination types. This resembles the Bellman-Ford algorithm, only the Bellman-Ford algorithm can be used simultaneously on graphs that have negative weight values. Meanwhile, the Floyd-Warshall algorithm is suitable for use on the all-pairs type. Then, the Johnson Algorithm can be used to determine the shortest path from all pairs of paths where the destination node is located in the graph. Finally, the Ant Colony algorithm to compute from a node to each pair of destination nodes.

Abstract

Perairan kolam Ancol merupakan bagian dari perairan Teluk Jakarata. Kolam ini terbentuk karena adanya reklamasi pulau G, F di teluk Jakarta. Kolam perairan ini dijadikan tempat lalulintas perahu wisata dan olahraga Jetski. Survei batimetri merupakan kegiatan untuk mengetahui kedalaman suatu perairan. Metode pengukuran batimetri bisa dalaksanakan menggunakan prinsip akustik bawah air. Prinsip ini memanfaatkan cepat rambat gelombang suara di dalam air. Penggunaan perinsip ini telah berkembang pesat. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan survei batimetri pada saat ini dikategorikan menjadi singlebeam echosounder dan multibeam echosounder. Pada pelaksanaan survey kali ini menggunakan singlebeam echosounder teledyne echotrac CV 100. Pengambillan dan pengolahan data dari survey ini didasarkan standar IHO S-44 edisi ke-V. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji analisis kualitas data dari survei batimetri di perairan kolam Ancol menggunakan singlebeam echosounder teledyne echotrac CV 100 dengan standar IHO SP 44 edisi ke-V. Hasil pengukuran menunjukan berdasarkan hasil antara lajur silang dan lajur utama di dapatkan hasil sounding masuk dalam orde 1a/1b, dan memiliki nilai kepercayaan lebih dari 95%.

Abstract

Neuroscience is a science that studies the nervous system of the human brain. The main focus of neuroscience involves understanding how brain cells communicate. Research in neuroscience has broad implications, from understanding nerves to applications in education. Neuroscience in early childhood education is a field of research that explores the link between children's brain development and the learning process. In the Al-Qur'an there are many explanations about the brain's function for thinking with the word aql. The urgency of character education in early childhood in neuroscience can be seen from the relationship between environmental stimulation and children's brain development. By providing integrated character education, we can create an environment that supports brain and character development in early childhood. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine some of the factors that could affect the value of the company. The independent variables used in this research are managerial ownership, institutional ownership, capital structure, profitability, company growth, company size, and dividend policy. The object of this research is Consumer Goods Industry sector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2020. This research used 40 samples and the research method used was purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistics and regression panel with a FEM model to testing all hypothesis. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the profitability and growth of the company affect the value of the company. Profitability has a positive effect to firm value because the company profit reflects a good performance of company so the investor sees this as a positive signal. Growth has a negative effect because investor sees that company will retain the dividend for financing the new opportunity. Meanwhile, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, capital structure, company size, and dividend policy have no effect on firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the factors that influence dividend policy. The independent variables in this study consist of return on assets, current ratio, debt to equity, company size, total asset turnover, and asset growth. The data for this research are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2020 period. This study used 10 companies and 70 samples and the sample selection procedure used was purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and multiple panel regression. Return on assets and firm size has a positive effect on dividend policy. Its because the return can used by company to share the dividend to shareholders and bigger the company means more assets that could converted into cash. Debt to equity has a negative effect on dividend policy because the company have to pay their obligation, so the company cannot pay the dividend. Meanwhile the other variables have no effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of Tangible Assets, Company Size, Sales Growth, Liquidity, and Leverage on Profitability. The research object used is food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2022. This study uses secondary data and the sampel used is food and beverages subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2022. The research method used is purposive sampling and there are 16 companies that meet the research criteria out of a total of 41 companies, resulting in a total sample of 112. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression panel with a REM model to testing all hypothesis. The research results show that Tangible Assets, Company Size, and Leverage have a negative effect on profitability. Tangible assets and size have a negative effect to profitability because more assets means more cash needed, and will reduce profitabillity of company. Leverage also has a negative effect because more leverage means more interest expense, and it will reduce the company profitability. Meanwhile, Sales Growth and Liquidity do not affect profitability.

Abstract

This research was aimed to answer the problem of the research “What were the students’ needs in the Marketing Department At SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka in learning English?”. This research used a qualitative research design. So the data were explained in the description form. The instruments of the research were questionnaires and interview guidelines. The participants of the research were students of the Marketing Department in the second grade in SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka. The result showed the student needs, the first is for the student's necessities who were more likely to learn speaking skills, and also for the material they want is online marketing material, which means that they consider their needs in the future when they enter the world of work, another thing that students need is in their English learning was they need a material that was appropriate to their major so that what they learn in school can be applied when they are working later, while the students lack was their speaking skill and also vocabulary deficiencies. Which was where they have no space or place to use their English skills that they have learned and for the desires of students in terms of learning English, students are more likely to want to learn English is more likely to go outside and also for the learning methods used by the teacher, students are more likely to study in pairs or groups with their friends rather than study alone. Besides, students also want teachers who can become facilitators and guides in the English learning process
