Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the factors that influence dividend policy. The independent variables in this study consist of return on assets, current ratio, debt to equity, company size, total asset turnover, and asset growth. The data for this research are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2020 period. This study used 10 companies and 70 samples and the sample selection procedure used was purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and multiple panel regression. Return on assets and firm size has a positive effect on dividend policy. Its because the return can used by company to share the dividend to shareholders and bigger the company means more assets that could converted into cash. Debt to equity has a negative effect on dividend policy because the company have to pay their obligation, so the company cannot pay the dividend. Meanwhile the other variables have no effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of Tangible Assets, Company Size, Sales Growth, Liquidity, and Leverage on Profitability. The research object used is food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2022. This study uses secondary data and the sampel used is food and beverages subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2022. The research method used is purposive sampling and there are 16 companies that meet the research criteria out of a total of 41 companies, resulting in a total sample of 112. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression panel with a REM model to testing all hypothesis. The research results show that Tangible Assets, Company Size, and Leverage have a negative effect on profitability. Tangible assets and size have a negative effect to profitability because more assets means more cash needed, and will reduce profitabillity of company. Leverage also has a negative effect because more leverage means more interest expense, and it will reduce the company profitability. Meanwhile, Sales Growth and Liquidity do not affect profitability.

Abstract

This research was aimed to answer the problem of the research “What were the students’ needs in the Marketing Department At SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka in learning English?”. This research used a qualitative research design. So the data were explained in the description form. The instruments of the research were questionnaires and interview guidelines. The participants of the research were students of the Marketing Department in the second grade in SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka. The result showed the student needs, the first is for the student's necessities who were more likely to learn speaking skills, and also for the material they want is online marketing material, which means that they consider their needs in the future when they enter the world of work, another thing that students need is in their English learning was they need a material that was appropriate to their major so that what they learn in school can be applied when they are working later, while the students lack was their speaking skill and also vocabulary deficiencies. Which was where they have no space or place to use their English skills that they have learned and for the desires of students in terms of learning English, students are more likely to want to learn English is more likely to go outside and also for the learning methods used by the teacher, students are more likely to study in pairs or groups with their friends rather than study alone. Besides, students also want teachers who can become facilitators and guides in the English learning process

Abstract

The market has an ultimate level of economics. Islam considers the existence of a market mechanism to ensure that the market can move to be perfect. However, the fact is that there are often market distortions caused by the behavior of sellers. So Islam sees the importance of government intervention in price fixing. The benefit of this research is to examine the concept of market mechanisms and price fixing in the Islamic economy from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Taimiyah. The conceptual thinking of the market mechanism according to Imam Al-Ghazali, especially the factors that influence and based on this price theory on the market mechanism due to the law of supply and demand. Al-Ghazali explained that the government's duty is to oversee the market so that a fair and free market is created. According to Al-Ghazali, price fixing obtains maslahah hajiyyah, that is, everything that makes people feel comfortable when their needs are originally fulfilled. Ibn Taimiyah explained that prices are determined by supply and demand. There are problems where prices are increased due to imbalances and imbalances in the market mechanism, the government can intervene in prices. However, if prices rise/fall naturally in a normal situation, the government has no right at all to set prices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Prabumulih Barat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru pada SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Prabumulih Barat sebanyak seratus empat orang yang digunakan untuk sampel. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner menggunakan skala likert, dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi dengan menggunakan program Statistical Package For Social Science dan Manual. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ada pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Se Kecamatan Prabumulih Barat sebesar lima puluh dua koma enam persen sisanya empat puluh tujuh koma empat persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang bukan menjadi variabel dalam penelitian ini. pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Se Kecamatan Prabumulih Barat sebesar empat puluh enam koma dua persen sisanya lima puluh tiga koma delapan persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang bukan menjadi variabel dalam penelitian ini ada pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Prabumulih Barat, sebesar lima puluh delapan koma lima persen sisanya empat puluh satu koma lima persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya yang tidak termaksud variable variabel pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh sarana dan prasarana terhadap kinerja guru; 2) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru; 3) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan sarana prasarana dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: 1) sarana prasarana berpengaruh secara signikan terhadap kinerja guru; 2) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru; 3) sarana prasarana dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of different parenting styles democratic, authoritarian, and permissive on the intensity of gadget use and its negative impacts on children aged 1-8 years in Bima City. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research design included literature review, hypothesis formulation, data collection via online questionnaires, and data analysis. Quantitative data were analyzed using regression techniques, and qualitative data provided contextual depth. The findings reveal significant differences in gadget use intensity and associated negative outcomes, including reduced social skills and hearing problems, depending on parenting style. Democratic and authoritarian parenting were linked to higher gadget use, while permissive parenting exhibited a wide range of use patterns, from high usage to complete abstention. The study underscores the importance of effective parental monitoring and engagement to manage children's screen time and mitigate adverse effects. Limitations include a localized sample and reliance on self-reported data, suggesting the need for further research in diverse populations. These findings have important implications for parenting strategies and public health policies, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions to educate parents on managing children’s digital habits and promoting healthy development. Future research should further investigate these relationships and develop comprehensive support strategies for parents.

Abstract

As of March 2022, there are 783 companies that have conducted an IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Investors need to analyze the company's value to find out the company's performance. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the dependent variable on Firm Value on the independent variables Return on Assets, Debt to Assets Ratio, Current Ratio, Firm Size, Dividend Payout Ratio, Assets Growth, Assets Management, and Audit Committee. The object of this study is a non-financial company listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from 2019 – 2021 as a population. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling and the method for analyzing data used multiple regression method. There were 93 companies and 279 data that passed the criteria. This study states Return on Assets and Debt to Assets Ratio have a positive effect on Firm Value. The current Ratio has a negative effect on firm value. Firm Size, Dividend Payout Ratio, Assets Growth, Assets Management, and Audit Committee have no effect on Firm Value.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang terus berlanjut dapat menjadi ancaman di dunia maya, terutama dalam hal kejahatan cyber. Kemudian tingkat popularitas smartphone serta jumlah penggunanya meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Sementara itu, smartphone dengan platform android masih menduduki peringkat pertama dalam persentase pengguna tertinggi di dunia. Karena itu, jumlah malware dan serangan berbahaya di platform android semakin meningkat. Pengembang aplikasi penipuan ini mengeksploitasi kekurangan platform android dengan menyuntikkan malware sebagai kode sumber ke dalam aplikasi android dan menyebarkannya melalui blog atau pasar aplikasi android. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik hybrid yang menggabungkan metode statis dan dinamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan contoh malware HummingBad dan CopyCat. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi dan analisis pada malware HummingBad dan CopyCat menggunakan metode hybrid menggunakan mobile security framework. Analisis yang dilakukan pada sampel malware HummingBad dan CopyCat menunjukkan bahwa sampel malware HummingBad memiliki tingkat keamanan 27/100 sedangkan untuk sempel malware CopyCat memiliki tingkat keamanan 38/100. Kata kunci: android, static, dynamic, analysis hybrid, malware ---------------------------------------------------------- The continued development of technology can become a threat in cyberspace, especially in terms of cyber crime. Then the level of popularity of smartphones and the number of users increases from year to year. Meanwhile, smartphones with the android platform are still ranked first in the highest percentage of users in the world. Because of this, the number of malware and malicious attacks on the android platform is increasing. Developers of these deceptive apps exploit the flaws of the android platform by injecting malware as source code into Android apps and spreading it via blogs or android app marketplaces. The technique used in this study is a hybrid technique that combines static and dynamic methods. This study uses the examples of HummingBad and CopyCat malware. This study aims to identify and analyze the hummingbad and copycat malware using a hybrid method using the mobile security framework.
