Abstract

The increasing population growth in Pinrang Regency every year had an impact on increasing the need for food, especially rice production which was generally a staple food source in Pinrang Regency. so it was necessary to do a forecast to anticipate future food shortages. This study aimed to determine the yield of rice production in Pinrang Regency in 2021 and the level of accuracy of the method used. The results of the study obtained forecast for rice production in Pinrang Regency in 2021 using the Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) method, respectively from the first quarter to the third quarter of 33603 tons, 25988 tons, and 43234 tons with the level of forecasting accuracy based on standard MAPE value obtained by 4.97 %. The MAPE value obtained was less than 10 % and close to 0 %, meaning that the SSA method with windows length 9 and 7 groups were very accurate to be used to predict rice production in Pinrang Regency.

Abstract

Dalam upaya mengembangkan perekonomian di Indonesia, tentunya aspek ekonomi masyarakat menjadi hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup seluruh masyarakat Indonesia menjadi lebih baik. Salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia adalah Pengembangan Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM). Penelitian ini akan mengelompokkan IKM salah satu daerah di Sulawesi Selatan yakni Kabupaten Wajo dengan menggunakan Metode Average Linkage Clustering dan Metode K-means. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Average Linkage, diperoleh 1 industri di kategorikan sebagai anggota dari Industri Menengah, sementara 29 lainnya dikategorikan sebagai anggota Industri Kecil. Untuk metode K-means, sebanyak 6 industri di kategorikan sebagai anggota dari Industri Menengah, sementara 24 lainnya dikategorikan sebagai anggota Industri Kecil. Dengan melihat nilai centroid-nya, metode K-means dinilai lebih baik untuk merepresentasikan IKM di Kabupaten Wajo.

Abstract

Background: The coexistence of hiatal hernia (HH), gastric polyp, and lupus nephritis in an adolescent patient presents a unique clinical challenge, demanding a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and management. This case report aims to highlight the complexities involved in addressing these concurrent conditions and their implications for patient care. Case presentation: A 16-year-old girl with a history of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and lupus nephritis presented with recurrent abdominal pain. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) revealed a hiatal hernia and an esophageal polyp. The patient underwent laparoscopic gastrofundoplication for the hiatal hernia, and the polyp was subsequently removed via polypectomy. Histopathological examination confirmed a hyperplastic gastric polyp. The patient's postoperative course was complicated by electrolyte imbalances and dysphagia, which were managed successfully. Conclusion: This case underscores the importance of a thorough diagnostic workup in adolescents with SLE presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms. The concurrent presence of HH, gastric polyp, and lupus nephritis necessitates a multidisciplinary approach involving gastroenterologists, surgeons, rheumatologists, and other specialists. Careful attention to potential complications, such as electrolyte imbalances and dysphagia, is crucial for optimal patient outcomes.

Abstract

Changing the curriculum is something that must be done by a country along with the times. Curriculum changes in Indonesia have been made several times. The results of the latest curriculum changes have resulted in the Independent Curriculum. Curriculum changes are expected to have a significant positive impact on learning and outcomes. However, curriculum changes also provide flexibility to teachers who carry out learning in the classroom. Students of the Teacher Education Study Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Buton as prospective teachers need to be equipped with experience before they become teachers. This training activity aims to provide experience to participants implementing the independent curriculum. The activity was attended by 12 students as training participants. In general, this training activity is carried out in three stages: the presentation of material, training, and evaluation of results. The presentation of the material uses the lecture and question and answer method, the practice uses the tutoring method, and the evaluation of the results uses the observation method. The evaluation results showed that the average ability of participants to compile learning tools was 88.44%, the average ability to carry out learning reached 90.56, and the personality of participants reached 92.88. Based on the analysis of the results of the discussion, it was concluded that this training activity has had a very satisfactory impact on the ability of trainees in the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

The point of this study is to try and look into what happens to employee productivity at PT. Infomedia (Grahapena) Makassar when they get education and training to improve their performance. This study's group was made up of up to 60 people who worked at PT. Infomedia (Grahapena). In this study, a saturated sampling method was used to choose the sample, which meant that the whole community was used as the research sample. This study used first-hand information as its data source. A questionnaire filled out by PT workers was used to get primary data for this study. The news agency GRAhapena in Makassar. There are different types of tests used to look at data, such as validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests, simultaneous tests, determination tests, and classical assumption tests (such as normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and multicollinearity tests). The study shows that training makes PT workers more productive, and the effect is big and positive. The news agency GRAhapena in Makassar. This means that training is a factor in figuring out how productive an employee is at work. On the other hand, schooling doesn't have a big effect on how much work people get done. Abstract

The research is aimed at implementing and testing the information systems of the Tracer Study at Panca Development University using the BlackBox Testing method. The BlackBox test method is chosen to evaluate the functionality of the system without having to know the internal details of that system. Previous research results showed that BlackBox testing was effective in identifying functional errors without requiring in-depth knowledge of the internal structure of the system. In the context of information system development, the use of testing methods such as BlackBox Testing becomes essential to ensure that the developed system functions properly according to the needs of the user. Implementation of this method on the Tracer Study information system is expected to improve the quality of the system and ensure that the system can provide accurate and useful information to the user. Thus, the research contributes to the development of the information system Tracer Studies in the higher education environment, in particular Panca Budi Development University, with a testing approach that focuses on the external functionality of the systems. The results of the implementation and testing using the BlackBox Testing method are expected to improve the quality and reliability of the Tracer Study information system that can support better decision-making in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the policy is implemented in the distribution of the family hope program for the empowerment of poor communities in Duampanua Subdistrict, Baranti Subdistrict, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained by conducting more in-depth observations and interviews with the sub-district head, social assistance assistants, and beneficiary families. Then the data obtained from the interview results was processed using the Nvivo 12 Plus application. The research results show that the implementation of policies in the distribution of the Hope Family program has been realized, but in terms of target accuracy, this program is considered to be less effective. The factors that hinder the distribution of this program are external factors and internal factors.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Village Head Election Process is held during Inter-Time Changes in Talumae Village, Watang Sidenreng District. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling technique with 7 informants as data sources. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation with data processing and analysis techniques using Nvivo 12 software. The results of the research show, This research found that the process of selecting village heads over time in Talumae Village succeeded in implementing the principles of local democracy in depth. . The results of the analysis show that the two main dimensions of democracy according to Robert Dahl, namely liberalization (through open and competitive public contestation) and inclusiveness (with broad participation from various levels of society), are implemented well. Actors such as the Chair of the Village BPD, the PAW Village Election Implementation Committee, the District Head, and the Village Government are actively involved in ensuring political freedom without discrimination and equal participation, building legitimacy and public trust in the election process. High transparency in each stage also increases public monitoring and legitimacy of election results.

Abstract

In obtaining student achievements and learning outcomes, students must have good skills and abilities. However, the fact is that many students still have low achievement and learning outcomes. This is urgent to research because there is a difference between theoretical expectations and reality to analyze learning skills and academic achievement within groups and to analyze differences in learning skills between male students and female students. The method in this research is quantitative by testing ANOVA. The subjects were 180 high school students. Data collection technique is using a learning skills instrument that contains two parts. The first section contains the demographics of the respondents. The second part also contains questions regarding learning skills. Instruments are assessed on a critical scale of 1 to 5 by distributing instruments using Google. A data analysis technique is using SPSS Version 25.0. Data analysis was analyzed using the Pearson correlation test to measure the relationship between learning skills and academic achievement. The results and findings show that the exam results show that there are no significant differences in learning skills among fourth-level students of different genders. ANOVA test results show that there are differences in learning skills among students in achieving academic achievement. The Pearson correlation test shows that there is a positive relationship between learning proficiency and academic achievement. The conclusion is that in obtaining achievements and learning outcomes, individual student learning skills and good academic performance are still needed.

Abstract

As the main producer, seagrass leaves are the main food for several marine animals such as turtles and dugongs, while seagrass fruit which contains soft seeds can be consumed as food for humans, but it is not very popular and there is not much information regarding the nutritional content of seagrass fruit. One species of seagrass that is often found in the waters of Samboang Beach, Bulukumba Regency is the Enhalus acoroides species. This research aims to determine the proximate and essential metal content of Enhalus acoroides seagrass fruit taken from Samboang coastal waters, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. Determination of proximates, namely proteins, was carried out using the Kjeldahl method, fats using the extraction method with n-hexane solvent and essential metals, and while determination of essential metal content using the atomic absorption spectrophotometry method. The results of this research show that the water content is 87%, the ash content is 0.76%, the protein content is 1.2%, the fat content is 0.66% and the carbohydrate content is 10.38%. The essential metal test results show zinc (Zn) levels of 5.32 ppm, iron (Fe) of 7.2 ppm, and cobalt (Co) of 0.11 ppm. Keywords: Enhalus acoroides, proximate, protein, Samboang beach, essential Abstrak Sebagai produsen utama, daun lamun merupakan makanan utama dari beberapa hewan laut seperti penyu dan dugong sedangkan buah lamun yang mengandung biji yang lunak dapat dikonsumsi sebagai pangan untuk manusia, tetapi belum begitu populer dan informasi terkait kandungan gizi dari buah lamun tersebut belum banyak ditemukan. Salah satu spesies lamun yang banyak ditemukan di perairan Pantai Samboang Kabupaten Bulukumba adalah dari jenis Enhalus acoroides. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kandungan proksimat dan logam esensial dari buah lamun Enhalus acoroides yang diambil dari perairan pantai Samboang Kabupaten Bulukumba Sulawesi Selatan. Penentuan proksimat yaitu protein dilakukan dengan metode kjeldahl, lemak menggunakan metode ekstraksi dengan pelarut n-heksan dan logam esensial, sedangkan penentuan kandungan logam esensial dengan menggunakan metode spektrofotometri serapan atom. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kadar air sebesar 87%, kadar abu sebesar 0.76%, kadar  protein sebesar 1.2 %, kadar lemak sebesar 0.66% dan kadar karbohidrat sebesar  10.38 %.
