Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat Moi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) sebagai strategi untuk memperkuat toleransi mahasiswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode survei, penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa, dosen, dan tokoh adat sebagai informan utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan observasi langsung terhadap penerapan nilai-nilai budaya Moi dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai budaya Moi, seperti solidaritas, kebersamaan, dan saling menghormati, secara signifikan meningkatkan sikap toleransi mahasiswa serta memperkuat solidaritas sosial dan identitas budaya mereka. Selain itu, lingkungan pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal memberikan mahasiswa keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman lebih mendalam tentang keberagaman dalam konteks akademik dan sosial. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan dari pemangku kepentingan, termasuk institusi pendidikan, pemerintah, dan masyarakat adat, untuk memastikan implementasi pendidikan berbasis budaya yang lebih luas dan berkelanjutan. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai budaya lokal tidak hanya dapat diterapkan di masyarakat Moi tetapi juga berpotensi diadopsi dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan lainnya di Indonesia guna membangun masyarakat yang lebih inklusif dan harmonis.

Abstract

Transformasi peran guru di era digital menjadi isu strategis dalam pendidikan, seiring tuntutan adaptasi kemajuan teknologi dan perubahan paradigma pembelajaran. Masih terbatasnya pemetaan sistematis mengenai tren, kolaborasi, dan tema utama penelitian terkait transformasi peran guru, di tengah tantangan kesenjangan literasi digital dan keterbatasan pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan perkembangan, pola, dan dinamika penelitian tentang transformasi peran guru di era digital selama lima tahun terakhir (2020-2025) dengan pendekatan bibliometrik. Data dikumpulkan dari Google Scholar dan Dimensions menggunakan Publish or Perish, kemudian dianalisis dan divisualisasikan melalui VOSviewer untuk mengidentifikasi tren publikasi, keterkaitan kata kunci, serta jejaring kolaborasi penulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tren publikasi meningkat sejak 2022, dengan tema kluster utama yang menyoroti tema transformasi, digitalisasi, dan penguatan peran guru. Namun, jejaring kolaborasi penulis masih terbatas dan topik penelitian cenderung terfragmentasi. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan perlunya penguatan kolaborasi riset, pengembangan kompetensi digital guru, serta inovasi kebijakan pendidikan berbasis data. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan peta literatur yang komprehensif dan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan kebijakan, program pelatihan, maupun penelitian lanjutan yang lebih terarah dan berdampak. Disarankan agar studi berikutnya memperluas cakupan database, periode publikasi, dan mengombinasikan analisis bibliometrik dengan kajian sistematis isi agar pemahaman terhadap transformasi peran guru semakin mendalam.

Abstract

Praktik makan masyarakat adat bukan sekadar aktivitas konsumsi, tetapi bagian dari sistem nilai, identitas, dan spiritualitas kolektif. Di Kampung Adat Cireundeu, makanan pokok seperti rasi (olahan singkong) merepresentasikan warisan budaya dan bentuk resistensi terhadap modernisasi. Namun, kajian mengenai pengalaman gastronomi masih banyak berfokus pada konteks pariwisata komersial, sementara pengalaman makan masyarakat adat jarang dikaji secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana masyarakat adat Cireundeu memaknai praktik makan sebagai bagian dari pengalaman gastronomi yang terstruktur secara sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pemilihan pendekatan ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan untuk menggali praktik budaya secara kontekstual dan mendalam. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis yang mengacu pada teori praktik sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga temuan utama: (1) makanan lokal dipahami sebagai simbol kehormatan leluhur dan identitas budaya; (2) praktik makan kolektif menjadi ruang pewarisan nilai dan solidaritas sosial; dan (3) terdapat dimensi spiritual dan ekologis dalam struktur praktik makan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengalaman gastronomi masyarakat Cireundeu merupakan praktik sosial yang kompleks dan bermakna. Rekomendasi ditujukan untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar melakukan studi komparatif di komunitas adat lain guna memperluas pemahaman dan kontribusi teori dalam konteks lokal yang beragam. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah ruang lingkup lokasi tunggal.

Abstract

Pedophilia is a part of child abuse that tends to occur in children surrounding environment. Pedophiles are not only about trauma but create a sexual predator cycle when the victims are not managed properly. This study aimed to analyze the fear of crime and post-traumatic stress disorder treatment in pedophilia cases in Indonesia. As qualitative research, data was obtained using observation and interview activities for one year continuously for each area of interest. This study was held in three regions in Java, Indonesia, which were specific locations of the victims’ residence in Sudajaya Hilir (Sukabumi City, West Java), Cintanagara (Garut Regency, West Java), and Sukamanah (Tangerang Regency, Banten). This study showed that fear of crime from the victims' parents and families is still low. It can be seen from those who tend to give full trust to the suspects because closely and consider like good people. In Garut and Sukabumi's cases, inappropriate post-traumatic disorder treatment caused the victims to transform into sexual predators. Pedophilia made the fear of crime in society, where the suspects have similar images as good and undangerous people for children. Not ideal post-traumatic stress disorder treatment is proven to cause the sexual predator cycle.

Abstract

Neighbourhood safety remains a critical urban challenge, with social disorganisation theory positing that structural factors like poverty and residential instability weaken community cohesion and amplify crime perceptions. While Scotland has seen declining crime rates, persistent violence in deprived areas, and emerging disorder in affluent communities necessitate safety measures across socioeconomic situations. This study examines how social disorganisation influences perceptions of safety across affluent and deprived neighbourhoods in Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scotland. Using a cross-sectional survey of 610 residents, we employed multiple regression and ANOVA models to analyse six key indicators of social disorder (noise, vandalism, verbal abuse, burglary, unsupervised children, and physical assault) against self-reported feelings of safety. Data were transformed using the Item Response Theory and Rasch Model to enable parametric analysis, with cross-validation confirming model robustness (R² 0.92).  Results revealed that verbal abuse (β = -0.565) and physical assault (β = -0.499) were the strongest predictors of reduced safety, with deprived areas exhibiting heightened vulnerability. Counterintuitively, affluent neighbourhoods reported higher perceived disorder for vandalism and unsupervised children, suggesting socioeconomic differences in reporting behaviours or tolerance thresholds. City-specific variations emerged: vandalism significantly impacted safety in Glasgow’s deprived areas but not Edinburgh’s, highlighting the need for locally tailored interventions.  The findings reinforce social disorganisation theory while demonstrating its nuanced application across socioeconomic contexts. Urban safety research by incorporating minor incivilities often overlooked in crime statistics, offering evidence for holistic approaches to neighbourhood security.

Abstract

Vocational training institution as non-formal educational institutions play a role in providing job training to prospective migrant workers who will work abroad. The formation of work character in shaping the performance character of prospective migrant workers to meet the standards, ethos, and work culture in accordance with the demands of the global industry. This study aims to analyze the performance character development strategy by vocational training institutions for prospective Indonesian migrant workers who will work in Japan. Using a qualitative approach with the grounded theory method, the study was conducted at three different vocational training institution in Lingua Global Utama, Palapa Muda Indonesia and Puspa Setya Abadi. Data collection used in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, and was analyzed using coding techniques consisting of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The findings show that, the work character development carried out by vocational training institutions in sending prospective migrant workers to Japan integrates the 5S principles (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) as both theoretical and practical learning. The 5S principles become the basis for performance character which is carried out with a contextual approach based on the reality of Japanese work culture collaborated with an experiential learning approach. The implication of the research is that the strategy for developing performance character based on the 5S principles in preparing prospective migrant workers needs to develop technical competencies supported by strengthening cross-cultural competencies.

Abstract

This article examines how rival football supporter communities in Yogyakarta, namely Slemania (PSS Sleman) and Brajamusti/Mataram Independent (PSIM Yogyakarta), interact. The urgency of this research is that citizen diplomacy is a critical new approach to de-escalating conflict while strengthening social bonds among supporters. The study identifies three key strategies within citizen diplomacy practiced by supporters: cross-group dialogue forums, collaborative social actions (such as blood donations and disaster relief), and digital campaigns aimed at reframing rivalry into an inclusive narrative of solidarity. Drawing on qualitative data from interviews and participant observation, the article analyzes practical implementation challenges, including intergenerational divides and institutional fragility. The findings suggest that while these initiatives remain uneven in reach, they have contributed to a significant reduction in intergroup violence and fostered renewed engagement with national identity among participants. This research offers empirical evidence that citizen-led diplomacy within football culture can serve as a transformative mechanism for social cohesion and civic integration in divided communities.

Abstract

This study highlights the significance of integrating Moi community customary values into civic education to encourage students to develop a more tolerant mindset. This study uses a qualitative methodology to incorporate values such as solidarity, mutual respect, and togetherness into the learning process. According to the study's findings, including these values in the education of students not only enhances their capacity to exhibit tolerance towards others but also contributes to a greater sense of solidarity with other individuals and an increased sense of national pride. Furthermore, the incorporation of Moi traditions helps create an inclusive learning environment that equips students with the practical skills necessary to manage diversity. This study found that to successfully implement culture-based education to create a harmonious and pluralistic society, it is required to secure broader support from stakeholders, including educators, policymakers, and local communities.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti mengenai relasi sosial antar etnis (studi kasus berbasis nilai-nilai multikultural pada masyarakat di Kota Pontianak). Perbedaan suku, agama, RAS, dan antargolongan (SARA) sebagai kondisi nyata yang diwarisi turun temurun, merupakan unsur-unsur kekayaan yang mewarnai budaya bangsa Indonesia, namun hal ini juga merupakan ancaman potensial bagi eksistensi bangsa hingga terjadinya konflik antar golongan. Kalimantan Barat sendiri sebenarnya telak mengalami konflik antar etnis sejak tahun 1950-an, dengan total konflik yang tercatat adalah sejumlah 19 kasus. Konflik pertama pertama kali terjadi pada tahun 1950 di Semalantan, kemudian berlanjut pada tahun 1966, 1967, 1968, 1976, 1977,1979, 1982, 1983, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2003, 2007, dan 2008. Pada tahun 2012 dan 2017 juga sebenarnya hampir terjadi konflik di kota Pontianak, namun tidak terjadi karena para pemuka adat dan agama berhasil menghimbau masyarakat untuk tidak terpancing dengan kontroversi-kontroversi yang beredar. Permasalahan dalam studi ini adalah 1) apa saja yang menjadi pendorong terjadinya konflik antar etnis di Kalimantan Barat?, 2) bagaimana relasi sosial antar etnis di kota Pontianak sekarang ini?. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi literatur. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) selain faktor perbedaan budaya, faktor balas dendam dan sengketa lahan adalah faktor utama yang menimbulkan konflik-konflik antar etnis di Kalimantan Barat. 2) relasi sosial antar etnis di Kota Pontianak Kalimantan Barat sendiri dapat dikatakan sudah terjalin dengan baik, hal ini tidak lepas dari sudah banyaknya berdiri paguyuban-paguyuban yang menjadikan hubungan antar etnis harmonis dan saling menghormati.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the role of satirical figures of speech and the educational value contained in the collection of poems "Malam Hujan" with the title of poetry “Kali Martapura” by Hijaz Yamani, namely the value of character education in learning in college. The technique of taking the research subject is a collection of Yemeni Hijaz poetry. This research uses purposive sampling. Then, the data collection technique uses purposive. The results of this study state that: (1) satire in poetry Hijaz Yamani there are 9 poems from 129 poems that act as satire against the authorities, satire on development, a satire on the economy, satire on the environment (2) The value of Character education in the Hijaz Yamani's poems are religious values, honesty, tolerance, hard work, democracy, and social care. (3) The role of satirical figures of speech and the value of character education.
