Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at the Ummu Aiman Orphanage in Makassar City as an effort to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age through creative craft training using recycled materials. This topic was chosen due to the limited availability of practical skill empowerment programs in orphanages that can support children's economic independence. The implementation methods included material presentations, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and participatory discussions using educational and communicative approaches. The children were guided to create simple products with both functional and economic value, such as pencil holders made from plastic bottles. The results showed that the participants became more active, confident, and capable of creating independently. In addition, their understanding of small business concepts and marketing through social media also began to form. This program had a positive impact on shaping independent, creative, and productive character. These findings serve as an important foundation for developing similar training models in other social institutions.

Abstract

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Socialization Program at SMPN 1 Raja Ampat was implemented as an effort to enhance digital literacy in remote areas. This activity aimed to provide students with a basic understanding of AI concepts and their applications in daily life. The methods used included visual presentations, educational video screenings, simple AI application simulations, and group discussions. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of AI, with 90% of participants able to explain basic AI concepts after the program. Moreover, students' interest in learning more about AI technology increased, as reflected by their high enthusiasm and active participation throughout the session. Despite challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and varying levels of student comprehension, the program was successfully adapted to local conditions. This initiative is expected to inspire other schools in remote regions to recognize the importance of digital literacy within their curricula, thereby promoting equitable access to knowledge and preparing students for future technological advancements.

Abstract

PADUKA (Collective Service for Registration of Population Documents and Civil Registration in Villages) is a digital innovation from the Cirebon Regency Disdukcapil which aims to make it easier for the community to access population administration services. This service runs on a non-mandatory cooperation agreement between the Disdukcapil and the village, so that the services are not evenly distributed in Cirebon Regency. This research aims to determine the dimensions and implementation of PADUKA's services, and identify obstacles and efforts to improve the quality of services. The methods used in the study are qualitative methods, data collection through observation, interviews, and dookumentation, with analysis based on the E-Govqual theory according to Papadomichelaki and Mentaz (2012) which includes six dimensions. Based on the results of the research, the implementation of PADUKA services provides convenience in the population administration process based on the quality standards of Content and Appearance that runs optimally. Meanwhile, the dimensions of Ease of Use, Trust, Reliability, Citizen Support, Functionality of Interaction are still constrained in implementation. The main obstacle lies in the nature of non-mandatory and permanent cooperation agreements, as well as communication and low quality of human resource competencies. The efforts made are to improve the cooperation agreement period, operator training, and system improvement. Overall, PADUKA has shown a positive contribution to the transformation of digital-based public services, although more intense evaluation is needed to ensure equitable distribution and optimization of services.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the basic characteristics of simple experiment. The main focus is to observe and measure sound properties such as frequency, amplitude, and speed of propagation under various conditions. The experiments include the use of a tuning fork to determine frequency and resonance in an air column to calculate the speed of sound in air. Additionally, changes in sound intensity are observed along with changes in distance from the sound source. The results of the experiments show a direct relationship between the length of the resonant air column and the wavelength of sound, as well as an inverse relationship between sound intensity and the squae of distance. This research reinforces basic physics principles about sound waves, providing a clear understanding of the fundamental properties of sound through easily replicable experimental methods.

Abstract

Cafés are commercial establishments that serve food and drinks to customers in a casual setting. They also provide a conducive environment for relaxation and socializing with relatives. However, the operational processes of many cafés in Yogyakarta, including the Konogawa Coffee & Culture, still rely on manual methods, resulting in long queues and extended waiting times when multiple customers arrive simultaneously. To address these challenges and enhance service performance, a system comprising a mobile application and an interconnected website has been developed. The website serves as a promotional medium, providing information about the café, while the mobile application enables customers to conveniently place menu orders online. The system design incorporates API technology to establish seamless connectivity between the website and the mobile application. When a customer uses their mobile device connected to the local area network to place an order, the ordering information is promptly transmitted to the cashier, who then forwards it to the kitchen. By improving the delivery of order information, this system enhances service performance and reduces customer wait times.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of vegetation found in the Genduang Village Forest area, Pangkalan Lesung District, and integrated into the design of poster media on biodiversity material. This study is a type of quantitative descriptive research consisting of 2 stages, namely the field research stage in the Genduang Village Forest, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency and the poster media design stage. Determination of the research location was carried out by purposive sampling, which means that the determination of the station used as a research site is based on certain considerations, namely high vegetation density, medium density and low density so that 3 research stations were obtained. The parameters observed include biological parameters and environmental physical and chemical parameters. The results of this study are the composition of vegetation in the Genduang Village Forest found as many as 16 families with tree strata consisting of 223 individuals, pole strata consisting of 145 individuals, sapling strata consisting of 94 individuals and seedling strata consisting of 259 individuals. The diversity index value for tree strata is 2.255 categorized as moderate, pole strata is 1.998 categorized as moderate, sapling strata is 1.949 categorized as moderate, and seedling strata is 1.621 categorized as moderate. Chemical factors are soil pH ranging from 6.7–7.0. Physical factors are soil temperature ranging from 26.67-280C, air temperature ranging from 27.50-290C and air humidity ranging from 83.41-90%. The results of the vegetation diversity index in the Genduang Village forest are categorized as moderate diversity. The results of the research that has been conducted are integrated into the design of poster media on biodiversity material in grade X of high school which can later be used in the biology learning process in schools.

Abstract

The literacy and numeracy skills of elementary school children in Klurahan Village are still relatively low, due to low motivation to learn, lack of variety in teaching methods, and limited involvement of parents and supporting facilities. To address these issues, students from the Ngawi Islamic Institute conducted a tutoring program through a Community Empowerment Practicum (PPM) in July 2025. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with 30 students from grades I–VI at Klurahan Elementary School and Nurul Islam Klurahan Islamic School as subjects, who participated in 13 sessions. The program was implemented through the stages of problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using a contextual, participatory, and enjoyable learning approach. The results showed an improvement in students' basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic, as well as a higher enthusiasm for learning. The results indicated an improvement in children's basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic, as well as the development of a learning spirit. The evaluation also noted positive changes in learning habits, although these were not yet uniform. Challenges faced include irregular attendance and limited parental involvement. This program makes a tangible contribution to improving the quality of basic education in rural areas and is relevant for sustainable development through cross-sectoral collaboration. Keywords: tutoring, literacy, numeracy, basic education, community empowerment   Abstrak: Kemampuan literasi dan numerasi anak sekolah dasar di Desa Klurahan masih tergolong rendah, disebabkan oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar, metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif, serta terbatasnya peran orang tua dan sarana pendukung. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, mahasiswa Institut Agama Islam Ngawi melaksanakan program bimbingan belajar melalui kegiatan Praktikum Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PPM) pada Juli 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek 30 anak kelas I–VI yang berasal dari SDN Klurahan dan MI Nurul Islam Klurahan, yang mengikuti 13 kali pertemuan. Program dilaksanakan melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual, partisipatif, dan menyenangkan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dasar siswa dalam membaca, menulis, dan berhitung, serta munculnya semangat belajar yang lebih tinggi. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan dasar anak dalam membaca, menulis, dan berhitung, serta tumbuhnya semangat belajar. Evaluasi juga mencatat perubahan positif dalam kebiasaan belajar meskipun belum merata. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi ketidakteraturan kehadiran dan minimnya keterlibatan orang tua. Program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dasar di wilayah pedesaan dan relevan untuk dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan melalui kolaborasi lintas sektor. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Social Media Marketing dan Brand Love terhadap Purchase Decision dalam pembelian Solo Album “Happy” milik Kim Seokjin BTS. Fenomena perilaku konsumen dalam komunitas penggemar K-pop, khususnya Army yang menunjukan bahwa startegi pemasaran digital serta ikatan emosional terhadap idola menjadi faktor utama yang mempengaruhi Purchase Decision. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melalui penyebaran kuesioner melalui google Form kepada komunitas Army yang masuk kedalam anggota grup Borahae.Hope Store yang telah membeli album “Happy” tersebut. Analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan model Structurl Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Social Media Marketing dan Brand Love berpegaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Purchase Decision. Penelitian ini juga memperkuat hasil penelitian sebelumnya serta menegaskan pentingnya peran media sosial sebagai sarana promosi, sekaligus menunjukan ketertarikan emosional penggemar K-pop dalam membeli album di industri musik Korea.

This study investigates the implementation of politeness principles in Lifebuoy product advertisements, focusing on how linguistic politeness contributes to effective and ethical communication. Politeness in language plays a vital role in advertising, as it seeks to attract consumer interest while avoiding offense, ambiguity, or miscommunication. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology and a discourse analysis approach, this research delves into the strategic use of politeness elements, such as goodwill, message clarity, respect for the audience, and careful word choice, in Lifebuoy advertisements. The analysis highlights how these advertisements align with politeness principles by ensuring relevance, maintaining clarity, and employing persuasive yet respectful and culturally sensitive language. Additionally, the study identifies how these strategies foster consumer trust, reinforce brand credibility, and contribute to a positive product image. By balancing persuasive techniques with ethical communication, Lifebuoy advertisements successfully convey their messages while respecting the audience's values and expectations, offering insights into the broader implications of politeness in advertising. This research underscores the importance of integrating linguistic politeness in marketing strategies to enhance consumer engagement and brand perception.

Abstract

This study analyzes the perception of students of the Islamic Banking Study Program of Nahdlatul Ulama Jepara Islamic University towards the threat of phishing as a banking crime. In the digital era, students have the potential to become agents of change in creating a safe Islamic banking ecosystem, but low digital literacy and education about data security make them vulnerable to online fraud. This study aims to explore students' understanding of the mechanism of phishing attacks, their level of awareness of cyber risks, and the factors that influence their perceptions and responses. The method used is qualitative with literature studies and interviews to obtain in-depth data. The results of the study show that the level of student understanding varies, some already understand this threat well, while others are still less familiar. Education from the campus is needed to increase students' awareness and understanding of the dangers of phishing, so that it can strengthen digital literacy and personal data protection among them.
