Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using interactive learning media in increasing students' interest in learning at SDN Giriwinaya. The purpose of the study is to describe the effect of using interactive learning media in increasing students' interest in learning at SDN Giriwinaya. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research participants consisted of fourth grade students, teachers, and principals. The results of the study showed that the use of interactive learning media, such as educational games, learning videos, and interactive applications, was able to significantly increase students' interest in learning. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and involved in the learning process, because the learning process became more interesting and enjoyable. In addition, teachers also felt an increase in the effectiveness of teaching with this interactive media. Supporting factors found include the provision of adequate technological facilities and teacher training in the use of interactive media. However, there are challenges such as limited internet access and the technical skills of some teachers that need to be improved. The conclusion of this study is that interactive learning media is an effective tool in increasing students' interest in learning at SDN Giriwinaya, provided that there is adequate infrastructure support and training. This study recommends increasing access to technology and developing teacher competencies as further steps to strengthen the implementation of interactive learning media in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to address the stagnation of discipline among teachers and educational staff (GTK) at SDN Giriwinaya, Warungkondang District, Cianjur Regency, in carrying out their daily tasks as professional GTKs. The efforts made by the school principal aim to realize their roles and functions in accordance with the mandate of the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 13 of 2007 on the Competencies of School/Madrasah Heads, which states that every school/madrasah head must meet five competency aspects: personality, managerial, supervisory, entrepreneurship, and social. The writing method of this paper is based on empirical experiences while serving as a school principal, supplemented by the author's experience during the Teacher Empowerment Program organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture for the 8th batch in 2023. The discipline of GTK, which has been perceived as lacking in accompanying students in the teaching and learning process, has resulted in a decline in the community's trust in sending their children to SDN Giriwinaya. This has also impacted the quality of graduates, which has yet to show satisfactory results. By analyzing the events experienced during the leadership in the school, the author applies a strategy to discipline GTK through coaching with a humanistic approach, which was carried out throughout the leadership process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi pembelajaran berbasis internet dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi bahasa Inggris peserta didik di SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung dan SMA BPI 1 Bandung. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis internet, serta dampaknya terhadap keterampilan komunikasi bahasa Inggris siswa. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari wawancara mendalam dengan guru bahasa Inggris dan peserta didik, observasi kelas, serta dokumentasi pembelajaran yang mencakup materi pembelajaran dan hasil evaluasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis tematik dan triangulasi data untuk meningkatkan validitas hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua sekolah telah merancang pembelajaran berbasis internet secara efektif dengan memanfaatkan berbagai platform digital, seperti Google Classroom, Zoom, Kahoot!, dan Quizizz, untuk mendukung pembelajaran aktif dan interaktif. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator dan motivator, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendorong partisipasi siswa melalui kegiatan seperti diskusi online, debat, role-play, dan presentasi kelompok. Evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan rubrik penilaian, portofolio digital, dan observasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa. Meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti kesenjangan akses teknologi dan adaptasi guru terhadap metode pembelajaran berbasis internet, sekolah berhasil mengatasi tantangan ini melalui pelatihan teknologi untuk guru, peningkatan infrastruktur, serta bimbingan individu bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi antara perencanaan pembelajaran yang matang, pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat, dan peran aktif guru dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi bahasa Inggris siswa dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan global di era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the role and function of School Administrative Staff (TAS) in improving social competence through community service programs. TAS social competencies support an inclusive and collaborative work environment, ultimately promoting educational success. The approach is a community service method through planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring the program. At the planning stage, TAS’s needs regarding social competence were identified through surveys and focus group discussions. The organizing stage involves forming an implementation team, scheduling activities, and providing relevant resources. Implementation of the program consists of interpersonal communication training, simulation of social situations in the work environment, and intensive mentoring. The supervision stage includes continuous evaluation of the development of participants' social competence through direct observation, interviews, and filling out questionnaires. The results showed a significant increase in TAS's ability to interact more effectively with teachers, students, and parents. The discussion explained that a participatory approach, supportive leadership, and a systematic evaluation mechanism supported the success of this program. This research recommends developing similar programs on an ongoing basis to ensure TAS's role as the leading supporter in creating a harmonious and excellent service-oriented educational environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of violence in schools increases every year. The Indonesian government has issued various policies to prevent violence against children, including violence that occurs in schools. One of them is the Regulation of the Minister of State for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2014 concerning the child-friendly school policy. This study aims to determine and analyze efforts to prevent bullying between students by strengthening the culture of child-friendly schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at Nusa Indah Elementary School, Cipanas District, Cianjur Regency. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of the principal, teachers, students, and parents. The results of the study indicate that planning has not been carried out in a participatory manner and is not supported by written documents specifically for anti-bullying. Organization is not optimal because the Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK) has not been formed. Program implementation focuses more on general character building without specific anti-bullying activities. Evaluation is also not data-based and does not produce concrete follow-up. In conclusion, the child-friendly school culture at Nusa Indah Elementary School has not been implemented effectively in preventing bullying due to the weak school managerial system. Structured planning, involvement of school residents, and continuous data-based evaluation are required.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Jembatan Besi 01 Pagi. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Students with special needs have different backgrounds, with some being more comfortable interacting with fellow students with special needs, while others interact well with regular students. Social interactions in inclusive classes involve associative patterns such as cooperation in academics and non-academically, accommodation provides motivation and assistance so that students with special needs are more open and integrated with regular students. The involvement of parents and communities and the formation of a school culture that supports inclusion and respects diversity are also crucial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan manajemen pembelajaran di RA Al Muawanah dalam memperkuat mutu layanan pendidikan anak usia dini. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan guru, staf administrasi, dan komite sekolah sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran di RA Al Muawanah dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan melibatkan guru dalam penyusunan kurikulum yang berorientasi pada prinsip Merdeka Belajar dan kebutuhan perkembangan anak. Pengorganisasian dilakukan melalui pembentukan tim kerja dengan pembagian tugas yang jelas antara guru, staf administrasi, dan komite sekolah. Tahap pelaksanaan mengedepankan pembelajaran berbasis bermain, tematik, proyek sederhana, dan kegiatan luar ruang yang menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Evaluasi dilakukan secara rutin dan reflektif dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak untuk meninjau efektivitas pembelajaran dan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa praktik manajemen pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dan partisipatif, sebagaimana diterapkan di RA Al Muawanah, berkontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan ekosistem PAUD yang berkualitas. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan kolaboratif, peningkatan kapasitas profesional, dan keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the management of extracurricular sports training at SDN Pasirhuni 01, Bandung Regency and its influence on improving students' non-academic achievements in sports. Extracurricular sports have an important role in developing students' potential outside of academics, including improving achievements in various sports. Effective training management is expected to optimize students' potential and produce proud achievements. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with sports teachers, students participating in extracurricular activities, and related school parties, as well as documentation of training programs and student achievement records. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the management of extracurricular sports training at SDN Pasirhuni 01 involved planning a training program that included selecting sports, preparing schedules, and determining training objectives. This study concludes that planned and structured extracurricular sports training management has a positive contribution to improving students' non-academic achievements at SDN Pasirhuni 01, Bandung Regency. Schools are expected to continue to support and develop extracurricular sports programs as a forum for developing student potential holistically.

Abstract

Abstract: This study explores the implementation of an oyster mushroom cultivation project as a contextual learning model at Sadarmanah Elementary School, located in Campaka Mulya District. The objective of the project was to enhance students’ understanding of scientific and environmental concepts while simultaneously fostering practical skills, critical thinking, and character development. Using a project-based learning (PjBL) framework, students were actively engaged in every stage of the cultivation process, including planning, preparation, observation, and harvesting. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, student journals, and performance assessments. The findings reveal significant improvements in students' conceptual understanding of biology and ecosystems, as well as the development of soft skills such as collaboration, responsibility, and environmental awareness. Moreover, the project served as a bridge between classroom theory and real-life applications, aligning well with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum and the Profile of Pancasila Students. This study suggests that contextual, environmentally-based project learning is an effective strategy to enrich learning experiences and support the holistic growth of elementary students.
