Abstract

AbstrakSistem Informasi pengajuan cuti dan perjalanan dinas merupakan sebuah sistem yang digunakan untuk proses penyimpanan data permohonan cuti dan perjalanan dinas yang mendukung operasional perusahaan. Dengan seiringnya perkembangan teknologi yang sangatlah cepat, kebutuhan informasi saat ini semakin meningkat seperti halnya dalam meningkatnya kinerja perusahaan dalam mengelola informasi. Namun didalam pelaksanaan sistem pengajuan cuti dan perjalanan dinas pada PT.IGTax Ekuseru Indonesia yang bergerak dibidang jasa konsultan masih bersifat manual dan hanya bisa dilakukan pada jam kerja kantor hal ini sangat tidak efektif bagi karyawan dalam mengajukan permohonan cuti maupun perjalanan dinas untuk bertemu client. Sistem Informasi pengajuan cuti dan perjalanan dinas ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode waterfall berbasis website. Tahapan metode meliputi tahapan analisis, perancangan, dan pengujian. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dan wawancara tentang proses bisnis yang sedang berjalan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perancangan aplikasi berbasis website dengan pengujian menggunakan black box testing. Sehingga pengujian yang dilakukan pada sistem informasi pengajuan cuti dan perjalanan dinas yang telah dirancang berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi; Waterfall; Cuti; Perjalanan Dinas; BlackBox; Website;  AbstractInformation System for filing leave and official travel is a system used for the process of storing data requests for leave and official travel that supports company operations. With the rapid development of technology, the need for information today is increasing as well as in increasing the performance of companies in managing information. But in the implementation of the application system for leave and official travel to PT.IGTax Ekuseru Indonesia which is engaged in consulting services is still manual and can only be done during office hours this is very ineffective for employees in applying for leave and official travel to meet clients. Information system for filing leave and official travel is designed using the website-based waterfall method. The stages of the method include the stages of analysis, design, and testing. Needs analysis is done by collecting data and interviews about ongoing business processes. The results of this study are website-based application design with testing using black box testing. So that the testing carried out on the information system for filing leave and official travel that has been designed to run according to needs. Keywords: Information System; Waterfall; Leave; Service; BlackBox; Website;

Abstract

PKBM Ulul Albab Kecamatan Sirampog menerapkan program pendidikan kesetaraan paket C. Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran, tidak sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui 1) bentuk interaksi sosial warga belajar 2) perilaku sosioemosional warga belajar 3) perilaku tugas warga belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan 1) bentuk interaksi sosial warga belajar pendidikan kesetaraan paket C di PKBM Ulul Albab terdiri dari warga belajar dengan warga belajar, warga belajar dengan tutor, warga belajar dengan kelompok, dan kelompok dengan kelompok. 2) perilaku sosioemosional warga belajar saling menunjukkan solidaritas kelompok, dramatisasi dan respon kesepakatan. 3) perilaku tugas warga belajar saling memberi dan meminta informasi. Saran bagi warga belajar harus meningkatkan kehadiran di kelas, meningkatkan interaksi khususnya aktif memberikan pendapat pada saat pembelajaran, tutor harus menerapkan metode pembelajaran diskusi, dan pengurus menerapkan program penangguhan raport dan ijazah bagi warga belajar yang sering absen mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study focuses on English teachers’ methods in teaching reading comprehension of procedure text. The main purpose of this study is to describe the methods used by English teachers and reveal the strengths and weaknesses of those methods used for teaching reading comprehension of procedure texts. The research was a qualitative case study. The participants of this research were two English teachers at one of junior high schools in Semarang in the academic year of 2019/2020. In collecting data, several data collection instruments were used, including: interview, observation guideline and document analysis checklist. The findings showed that English teachers planned the teaching materials and strategies in advance. They also used various methods in teaching reading of procedure text. Both teachers almost used the same methods which were audio-visual method, scaffolding, grammar-translation method, and project-based learning. The difference was in the step of the strategy implementation. In addition, the findings showed that the most appropriate method in teaching reading comprehension was grammar-translation method since it helped students comprehend the procedure text. There were several students who still had a hard time following the lessons. Teachers are supposed to make sure that all students have understood the whole text or not and they should observe the students’ situation and needs so that the teaching and learning is contextual.

Abstract

Textbook is a tool which functions as a manual instruction in any branch of study included in language learning. Therefore, teachers should select an appropriate English textbook to support the learning activity because it have a big influence in the learning process. This study is about strategies of EFL teachers at a vocational high school in Semarang for selecting appropriate English textbook. The main purpose of this study was to investigate teachers’ strategies in selecting appropriate English textbook and dr. This study drew from the teachers regarding their criteria in selecting appropriate English textbook. Hence, this is a qualitative study that investigate the EFL teachers as the subjects. In collecting the data, we used open ended interview, questionnaire, and document analysis checklist. This study eployed theory of Garinger (2002) and BNSP by Permendikbud (2013) to analyse the data in order to know the strategies and the criteria used by the teachers in selecting appropriate English textbook. Based on the interview and the questionnaire, the finding showed there are some strategies in selecting appropriate textbook: teacher matched the textbook with the 2013 curriculum, read the KI, KD, Syllabus and learning objective. The data showed that all teachers select textbook based on their chosen, so that they were free to choose their textbook to support learning activity. However, some teachers select textbook by involving administrator and head school. There are also some textbook criteria there are: considering the goals and curriculum, textbook series, learning objective in the textbook, the age and background of the students, the availability and the effective cost. Based on the document analysis checklist, this research showed that the criteria of appropriate textbook in line with the Garinger (2002) and 2013 curriculum aspects based on BNSP. Next, the teachers also considered about the price of the textbook that must be cost effective and the textbook is easy to obtain. We argue that the identified strategies and criteria can be used as a consideration by English teachers to selectan appropriate English textbook.

Abstract

In the learning process, teachers should pose some questions in order to check what has been learnt and understood, to help them review previous learning, and assess whether students are ready or not to move forward and learn new information. Regarding that statement, questioning section in the learning process is important. The aim of this research was to find out how the teachers use the questioning section in the learning process to promote the students’ high order thinking skills which are divided into three skills that are analysing, evaluating and creating skill. This study implied case study research. The instruments used in this research were observation checklist, recording, interview and questionnaire. The main data was the teachers’ recording in the learning process. The subjects of this study were three teachers of a religion-based high school in Semarang, Central Java. and the students of that school. The findings of the study showed that the teachers used questioning section in their learning process. The kinds of questions used were mostly open questions and close question or yes/no questions. Those questions were used in order to make the students think more critically. The teachers think that high order thinking skill is so important for the students so they applied those skills maximally in the learning process and by questioning, the teacher could get some advantages such as they could assess the students and also know the students understanding toward the material given. It can be concluded that the use of teacher’s questioning could be a tool to promote students’ high order thinking skills in EFL learning. It is also suggested for the teachers to use more questioning section in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat aktifitas matematika pada Arsitektur Mesjid Raya Sultan Riau Penyengat yaitu aktivitas mengukur, ada beberapa konsep matematika yang terdapat pada arsitektur Mesjid Raya Sultan Riau Penyengat yaitu berupa bangun datar, bangun ruang dan refleksi (pencerminan). Konsep-konsep matematika ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar matematika. Kata kunci: Sumber Belajar Matematika, Refleksi.

Abstract

Alternative medicine has long been known among the public as a treatment that can cure a variety of diseases. Types of alternative medicine are many types of one that we know in the form of acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture treatment in Indonesia is not new and there are many people who do treatment in this way , even it has been fairly official because it is already a clinic - clinics scattered throughout Indonesia. One of the acupuncture clinics located at Jl. Lelel 5 Pamulang Timur, South Tangerang. At Klinik Akupuntur Sehat Sejahtera offers a variety of acupuncture packages, only in the system used in this clinic is still manual ranging from recording patient data, drug data to payment transactions. With that reason, a solution is needed that can be used to facilitate data collection and also more efficient in data storage, namely with desktop application information system. By using rad research method as the flow of the system. The results obtained from RAD methods and applications with JAVA can help admins in inputting patient data, drug data and payment transactions at healthy acupuncture clinics in east Pamulang.

Abstract

Purpose:  Facial skin is the skin that protects the inner part of the face such as the eyes, nose, mouth, and other. The skin of the face consists of some type, among others, normal skin, oily skin, dry skin, and combination skin. This is a problem for women because it is hard to get to know and distinguish the type of peel, this is what causes some women’s, it is hard to determine which product cosmetology and proper care for her skin type. Methods: In this study, the method of the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is an appropriate method to classify the type of the skin of women of age 20 – 30 years by following a few stages using Python 3.5 with a depth of three layers. In this study, the method used CNN to distinguish the type of skin of the label object of the type of skin that a normal skin type, oily, dry and combination. A combination skin type is composed of normal and dry skin types. Result: The process of learning network CNN to get the results of the value by 67%. As for the classification of Normal skin 100%, the type of the skin of the face 100% Dry, kind of Oily facial skin 100% and combination skin type (Normal and Dry) to 100%. Novelty: It can be concluded that the use of the method of CNN in automatic object recognition in distinguishing the type of leather as a material consideration in determining the object of the image. And the classification method using CNN with the Python program to be able to classify well.
