Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the influence of environmental performance disclosure within corporate social responsibility on company value. It assesses the impact of green intellectual capital (human, structural, and relational), green innovation (product and process), carbon emission disclosure, and eco-efficiency on Price Book Value (PBV). The sample includes 11 companies from the Sri Kehati Index 2018-2022, which apply Sustainable Responsible Investment (SRI) and ESG principles. Using multiple regression analysis, the findings reveal that green intellectual capital disclosure does not significantly affect company value. However, green innovation positively impacts PBV, suggesting its importance in enhancing corporate valuation. In contrast, carbon emission disclosure and eco-efficiency are found to negatively influence PBV. These results highlight the critical role of green innovation in driving company value while suggesting that certain environmental disclosures may lower valuations. The study provides valuable insights into how environmental practices affect corporate value within the framework of corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Keywords:Green Intellectual Capital, Green Innovation, Carbon Emissions Disclosure, Eco-Efficiency, Company Value

Abstract

Shallots are a horticultural commodity with high economic value because shallots are always used in almost every dish. The importance of knowledge about shallot cultivation technology according to the agroecosystem has yet to be fully distributed at the Bantang Cama Farmers Group in Manggarai Regency. The targets to be achieved from this PKM program are increasing the skills of farmer groups in Waso Village regarding the cultivation of Bima Brebes shallots, as well as the results of adaptation of Bima Brebes shallots through the implementation of cultivation carried out in the highlands. Service activities were carried out in the "Bantang Cama" farmer group in Waso Village, Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, with 36 participants. They went through the stages of field observation, literature study, outreach, demonstration, and evaluation. The evaluation was carried out using a pretest and posttest to measure the improvement in the skills of the farmer group and see the results of the Bima Brebes shallots that had been cultivated. The results of the service showed that the skills of the farmer group after participating in the socialization increased from 38.50% to 87.60%. Bima Brebes shallots produced low plant height, number of leaves, and tillers. This shows a mechanism of low adaptability to the agroecosystem, the highlands in Waso Village.

Abstract

Stunting is a significant health issue in many developing countries, including Indonesia. Advances in health technology have opened new opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of detecting stunting in young children, with one such advancement being Machine Learning technology. This study compares various Machine Learning algorithms for detecting stunting in children. The methodology includes data collection, data exploration, data preprocessing, feature extraction, model classification, and model evaluation. The results show that Random Forest demonstrates superior performance with the highest accuracy of 0.999132, recall of 0.999132, and a macro-averaged F1-score of 0.998906, making it the most consistent model for predicting child nutritional status. K-Nearest Neighbor also shows very good performance with an accuracy of 0.999050 and an F1-score of 0.998748. Decision Tree has an accuracy of 0.999091 and an F1-score of 0.998705, closely matching the performance of Random Forest and KNN. XGBoost, with an accuracy of 0.991033 and an F1-score of 0.987495, performs lower than the other three models. Therefore, Random Forest is the recommended choice for implementing stunting prediction in children.

Abstract

Numerous studies have addressed the classification of potato plants. However, the available datasets often lack the necessary diversity to improve the accuracy of predictive classification models effectively. Our research capitalizes on synthetic datasets generated through the Stable Diffusion 1.5 image generation method to address this challenge. This study suggests a new way to solve the problem by using artificial datasets created with the Stable Diffusion 1.5 method to teach a Convolutional Vision Transformer (CvT) model how to identify diseases on potato leaves accurately. Our objective is to train the CvT model employing synthetic datasets to excel in detecting potato leaf diseases. Our methodology encompasses the model's training using synthetic datasets from Stable Diffusion 1.5. We employ a comprehensive dataset of 11,121 synthetic images to train the Convolutional Vision Transformer (CvT) model, which enables it to accurately identify various potato leaf diseases such as black leg/soft rot, mosaic, leaf roll, early blight, and late blight. We conduct evaluations at multiple training stages to gauge the model's performance and accuracy. The outcomes of our research underscore the effectiveness of employing synthetic datasets from Stable Diffusion 1.5, which significantly augments the available image data while preserving a high level of accuracy. The CvT model proficiently identifies potato leaf diseases with an evaluation accuracy of 84%. Additional testing reveals that by the fifth epoch, the CvT model attains an accuracy of 81% when assessed using 82 randomly selected images of diseased plants from Google. The implications of this research are far-reaching, particularly within the domains of image processing and agriculture. The strategy of utilizing synthetic datasets to train the CvT model presents an efficient remedy to address the limitations of original image datasets. The adept disease detection capability of the CvT model holds the potential to expedite plant condition identification, mitigate crop loss, and ultimately amplify agricultural productivity. This study effectively demonstrates that the Convolutional Vision Transformer (CvT), when leveraged with synthetic datasets from Stable Diffusion 1.5, produces a model capable of accurately identifying potato leaf diseases. These findings bear positive implications for both the agricultural and image-processing sectors.

Abstract

Marketers often apply the strategy of scarcity promotion to attract consumer attention to the company’s product. However, this strategy often increases consumer’s destructive, aggressive behaviors. A quantitative approach using the experimental method was thus conducted in this study to reveal the effect of advertisement exposure with scarcity promotion strategy on aggressive consumer response towards the product that the company offered. The results show that advertisements with a scarcity strategy expose one’s perception that other consumers are perceived as threats. This perception arises since the probability of getting the product they want will be decreased when others are running after the same product. Theoretically, this condition will elevate the tendency of aggressive consumer behavior when attaining the product. Three studies with multiple behavioral measurements conducted on STIE YKPN students show destructive responses to the scarcity promotion applied by the company

Abstract

Basic education is an important foundation in shaping the quality of human resources and determining the success of the next level of education. In the context of education in Indonesia, Pancasila Education has a strategic role in instilling character and national values from an early age. Unfortunately, the implementation of Pancasila Education learning at the elementary school level still faces two main problems, namely the lack of variety in the learning methods used and the low motivation of students to learn. This study examines the effect of using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model with Canva media on the motivation and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Purwoyoso 04 Ngaliyan Semarang in the subject of Pancasila Education.. The VCT model was chosen because it is considered to be able to increase students' active participation through activities to find, analyze, choose, and decide on relevant values. The research approach used was quantitative experimental with a quasi-experimental design type of nonequivalent control group. Class IV A, totaling 23 people, became the experimental class sample and class IV B, totaling 23 people, became the control class sample. The tests used were pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the VCT model assisted by Canva media had an influence on the results and motivation of learning Pancasila Education in class IV. This result is indicated by the results of the t test of learning motivation sig of 0.001 0.05 and learning outcomes sig of 0.004 0.05, which means that there is a significant influence on the motivation and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in Class IV SD Negeri Purwoyoso 04 Ngaliyan Semarang.
