Abstract

This research aims to determine the urgency of problem-solving training for students in SMP N 10 Tanjung Balai School by using group counseling services. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research sample consists of 12 students, the homeroom teacher, and also the guidance counselor. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, which requires deep thinking insight. After reducing the data, the data is presented and then the researcher draws conclusions. The data validity test technique in this research uses triangulation by asking the same questions to different sources. In general, problem-solving training for students in school is very important because everyone faces problems frequently. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that problem-solving training is very important and has a positive impact on students. Therefore, the researcher wants to conduct research with the title “The urgency of problem-solving training for students in SMP N 10 Tanjung Balai school by using group counseling services”.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of modeling techniques in overcoming maladaptive behavior in class X students at Madarasah Aliyah Negeri. The method used in this research was pre-test post-test only control group design with sampling using a purposive sampling technique, taking a sample of 20 students with the lowest scores and high levels of maladaptive behavior based on the results of the pretest analysis, with the reason that purposive sampling increases methodological accuracy and trustworthiness of data and results by matching the sample to the aims and objectives of the study. The sample used was 20 class X students. Data collection was carried out using a maladaptive behavior questionnaire which has been proven valid and reliable. From the results of research using the t test, it is known that behavioral counseling using modeling techniques is effective in overcoming maladaptive behavior. This can be seen from the results of research data analysis, which shows that tcount = 3.806, and ttable with db = 18 and a significance level of 0.05 or 5% is 2.101, so it is obtained that tcount > ttable (3.806 > 2.101) from the post test results of the experimental group is greater than control group. So the conclusion of the alternative hypothesis is accepted in other words. Behavioral Counseling with Modeling Techniques is Effective in Overcoming Maladaptive Behavior in Class X State Madrasah Aliyah Students.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to apply group counseling with a behavioral approach to improve the learning achievement abilities of class VII students at MTS TPI Medan. This research uses quantitative. The method used in this research is one group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study was all 60 class VII students. The research sample consisted of 9 students. The data collection tool is a learning achievement questionnaire whose validity has been tested using SPSS 29.0. From the results of the t test in the form of a paired sample test, learning achievement ability is in the high category with an average value (mean) of 16.88889 and also shows that there is a significant value of <.001, meaning less than 0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected. So it can be said that there is a significant difference between learning achievement abilities before and after implementing group counseling with a behavioral approach.

Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of the parenting role in the context of decision making regarding further education for students in Islamic boarding schools. This research was conducted to understand how the care provided by Islamic boarding school caregivers influences students' decisions in choosing further education. A qualitative approach was used with in-depth interview techniques with caregivers and students to collect data. Data analysis was carried out using the content analysis method to identify the main themes in parenting that have an impact on students' further education decisions. The findings of this study provide insight into the parenting factors that are significant in the decision-making process of students regarding their further education. The implications of the results of this research can be used to improve understanding and approaches to care in Islamic boarding schools to support better further education decision making for students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of counseling guidance in the context of the success of the Independent Curriculum in secondary schools. The Independent Curriculum is known as an initiative to promote competency-based education with an emphasis on developing relevant skills, knowledge, and attitudes for students. The research method used is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The research participants consisted of counseling guidance teachers, school principals, and students involved in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews and participatory observations. The results of the study show that the implementation of counseling guidance plays an important role in supporting the success of the Independent Curriculum. The findings highlight that counseling guidance assists students in identifying and developing competencies in accordance with the demands of the new curriculum. In addition, the role of counseling guidance teachers in facilitating students' understanding and motivation towards the new curriculum is also very important. This study provides practical implications for the development of further education policies in integrating the role of counseling guidance as the main supporter in the success of the Independent Curriculum. It is hoped that this research can be the foundation for the development of a more effective counseling guidance program in supporting broader educational goals.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) menganalisis kesesuaian pembinaan rumah tangga sakinah dengan prinsip-prinsip Bimbingan Konseling Islami, 2) mengetahui aktualisasi prinsip-prinsip Bimbingan Konseling Islami dalam membina rumah tangga sakinah di masyarakat, dan 3) menganalisis dampak dari prinsip-prinsip Bimbingan Konseling Islami dalam membina rumah tangga sakinah di Kecamatan Medan Kota, Kelurahan Teladan Timur, Lingkungan V. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan teknik triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) pembinaan rumah tangga bagi pasangan suami istri dan calon pengantin yang dilakukan oleh BP4 dan ustaz yang dipercaya KUA sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Bimbingan Konseling Islami, metode konseling nasihat, sesuai dengan nilai keislaman, 2) aktualisasi prinsip-prinsip Bimbingan Konseling Islami,ternyata mampu diterapkan di dalam masyarakat, sebab masyarakat menerima baik peran ustaz dalam membina keluarga yang membutuhkan bantuan menyelesaikan masalah rumah tangga, dan 3) hasil dari penerapan prinsip-prinsip Bimbingan Konseling Islami mendapat respon positif oleh masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Kota Keluraha Teladan Timur Lingkungan V.  Kata Kunci: Prinsip, Bimbingan Konseling Islami, Rumah Tangga, Sakinah ABSTACTThe purpose of this study is to 1) analyze the suitability of the construction of the hospital's Sakinah with Islamic Counseling Principles, 2) to know the actualization of Islamic counseling guiding principles in building the hospital's sacramency in the community, and 3) analyzing the impact of Islamic counseling guiding principles in building a hospital of Sakinah in Medan City district, village example east, Environment V. This research uses qualitative methods with case study approaches and triangulation techniques. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis mengenai jenis-jenis masalah dalam belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Tanjung Tiram di kabupaten Batu Bara. Dikatakan masalah dalam diri seseorang, bukan hanya berdampak kepada sifat negative-nya saja, akan tetapi siswa yang terlalu berambisi dan kepintarannya diatas rata-rata-pun dapat juga menjadi masalah. Masalah bagi siapa? Melalui   penelitian ini, maka akan diketahui nantinya bentuk-bentuk permasalahan yang sering dialami oleh siswa pada umumnya, serta yang akan membawa obat penenang dari masalah tersebut adalah para guru yang berprofesi di Madrasah. Perlu diketahui, yang disebut guru pembimbing dalam penelitian ini adalah guru BK dan guru kelas yang akan menjadi detektif bagi anak didiknya pada masing-masing kelas. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, dapat diketahui bentuk-bentuk masalah yang terjadi dan dialami oleh siswa/I Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Tanjung Tiram berupa, siswa sering; tidak masuk kelas, gemar permisi, tidak melaksanakan tugas, dan kurang lengkapnya sarana prasarana yang ada pada Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Tanjung Tiram tesebut, sehingga berakibat sering terjadi kealfaan siswa dalam belajar. Selain itu, adapun pelaksanaan bimbingan dalam menyelesaikan masalah belajar yang diterapkan di MAS Al Washliyah adalah berupa layanan-layanan dalam konseling. Diantaranya; layanan bimbingan konseling kelompok, layanan penempatan dan penyaluran, layananan pembelajaran/penguasaan konten serta layanan informasi dan orientasi. Kata Kunci: Layanan Konseling; Siswa Bermasalah; Pembelajaran                                                                                                                 ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out, analyze about the forms of problems experienced by students in Al Washliyah Private Alyahliyah Madrasah Tanjung Tiram in Batu Bara District, as well as how the concept of tutoring is applied to Tanjung Tiram Aliyah Madrasah, Batu Bara. The problem in this case in the problem of students participating in learning at school. Where there is a problem, then rest assured there is a cure (solution). A problem for who? Through this research, it will be known later the forms of problems that are often experienced by students in general, and who will bring a sedative from the problem are the teachers who work at this Aliyah Madrasah. Please note, what is called the supervising teacher in this study is the class teacher who will be a detective for their students in each class. As for the conclusions of this study, it can be seen the forms of problems that occur and are experienced by students in Tanjung Tiram Private Aliyah Madrasah in the form of students often; do not go to class, like to excuse me, do not carry out the task, and the incompleteness of the existing infrastructure in the Tanjung Tiram Aliyah Private Madrasah so that often results in the absence of students in learning. In addition, as for the concepts applied to the Tanjung Tiram Aliyah Private Islamic School in Batu Bara, namely: understanding the meaning of tutoring, understanding the functions, benefits, and objectives of tutoring, as well as complying with the steps of tutoring. Based on the results of the analysis, the teachers have tried their best to carry out their professional duties, but the students at Tanjung Tiram Private Aliyah Madrasahs still cannot carry out the disciplines that are applied to Tanjung Tiram Private Aliyah Madrasas in Batu Bara Regency properly. Keywords: Counseling Services; Students with Problems, Learning

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan  penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis pemahaman guru BK  terhadap self control dan pelaksanaan bimbingan konseling dalam meningkatkan mutu belajar pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batu Bara. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan tehknik triangulasi dan subjek adalah guru Bimbingan Konseling. Temuan yang diperoleh tentang pemahaman guru bimbingan konseling mengenai self control baik, sesuai dengan aspek yang dikemukakan oleh teori Averill dan praktik pelaksanaan Bimbingan Konseling di MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram dalam meningkatkan self control siswa menggunakan teknis model bimbingan konseling konvensional secara islami, yaitu memberikan jenis layanan, proses, dan tindakan  sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik baik secara per-individu maupun kelompok. Mengenai siswa dalam berperilaku, normal layaknya siswa pada umumnya. Fungsi BK dalam hal ini dapat menimbulkan kesadaran diri hingga menyebabkan peserta didik dapat menerima kondisinya dengan baik dan menjadikan Rabb-Nya sebagai sandaran saat timbulnya masalah. Perhatian orang tua dan motivasi konselor sekolah juga berpengaruh terhadap sikap siswa dalam belajar, baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Pelaksanaan bimbingan konseling merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara bimbingan konseling konvensional dengan islami. Konselor mampu melayani siswa/i untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri mengenai nilai dalam Islam hingga menjadikan mutu belajar pada siswa dapat berkembang sesuai harapan. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Konseling; Kesadaran Diri; Siswa Aktif. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to explain and analyze the understanding of counseling teachers on self-control and the implementation of counseling in improving the quality of learning in students. This research was conducted at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram Batu Bara Regency. The method used is a qualitative method with triangulation techniques and the main subject is the Counseling Guidance teacher. The findings obtained about the understanding of counseling guidance teachers regarding self-control are good, in accordance with the aspects put forward by Averill’s theory and the practice of implementing Counseling at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram in improving student self-control using conventional conventional Islamic counseling guidance models, namely providing types services, processes, and actions according to the needs of students, both individually and in groups. Regarding students’ behavior, normal like students in general. The function of BK in this case can lead to self-awareness (self control) so that students can accept their conditions well and make their Rabb a back when problems arise. In addition, the attention of parents and the motivation of school counselors also affects students’ attituudents’ attitudes in learning, both at school and atdes in learning, both at school and at home. Thus the implementation of counseling guidance at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram, Batu Bara Regency is the result of a collaboration between conventional counseling guidance and Islam. This makes the counselor able to serve students and female students to increase self-control regarding values in Islam so that the quality of learning in students can develop as expected. Keywords: Counseling Guidance; Self Control; Active Students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Implementasi manajemen bimbingan kelompok (2) pelaksanaannya (3) perlunya evaluasi manajemen bimbingan kelompo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, tempat dan waktu penelitian bertempat di MTs Negeri Tebing tinggi. Waktu penelitian ini dimulai Bulan Februari 2020 (di awal masa studi) berakhir di bulan September 2020. Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Implementasi manajemen yang direncanakan dalam bimbingan kelompok berupa rancangan dalam program mingguan, bulanan, semesteran dan tahunan dan dirancangkan pada dua kegiatan, yakni kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikulernya (2) Pelaksanaan manajemennya menggunakan Metode Keteladanan, Metode Pembiasaan, Metode Pemberian Nasihat, Metode Motivasi, Metode Persuasi dan Metode Kisah. (3) Perlunya evaluasi dikarenakan oleh dua faktor, yakni Faktor penghambat dan pendukungnya. Untuk faktor penghambat di antaranya adalah Kurangnya jam pelajaran tambahan. Kurangnya atensi pengawasan yang optimal dari kepala sekolah yang terjun langsung ke lapangan dengan tatap muka. Kurangnya pelatihan sosial keagamaan. Dan untuk faktor pendukungnya adalah isi kurikulum dan materi pelajaran.Isi materi pelajaran yang diberikan sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar dan dasar kompetensi Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan dan Muatan isi pelajaran sesuai dengan kompetensi kognisi peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Layanan, Bimbingan, Kelompok, MTs Negeri Tebing tinggi. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine (1) the implementation of group guidance management (2) its implementation (3) the need for evaluation of group guidance management. This study uses a qualitative method, the place and time of the research is at MTs Negeri Tebing Tinggi. The time of this research starts in February 2020 (at the beginning of the study period) ends in September 2020. The data collection technique uses interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are: (1) the implementation of management planned in group guidance in the form of weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual programs and designed for two activities, namely intracurricular and extracurricular activities (2) The implementation of management uses the Exemplary Method, the Habituation Method, the Method Giving Advice, Motivation Method, Persuasion Method and Story Method. (3) The need for evaluation is caused by two factors, namely the inhibiting and supporting factors. The inhibiting factors include the lack of additional lesson hours. Lack of optimal supervisory attention from principals who go directly to the field face-to-face. Lack of socio-religious training. And for the supporting factors are the content of the curriculum and subject matter. The contents of the subject matter provided are in accordance with the basic competencies and basic competencies of the Education Unit Level Curriculum and the content of the lesson content is in accordance with the cognitive competence of students. Keywords: Services, Guidance, Groups, MTs Negeri Tebing Tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of the Al-Fatih Islamic Elementary School and find out the curriculum used. In this research the author uses historical methods or historical methods. The historical method consists of data collection, source criticism, interpretation and finally historiography. The research approaches used in this research are the geographical approach, sociological approach, educational approach and historical education. The results of this research are 1) Al-Fatih Islamic Elementary School or abbreviated as SD I Al-Fatih was founded in 2014 and is located at Jln. Medan-Tanjung Morawa Gg. Darmo KM. 13.5 Hamlet VII Bangun Sari Village. From the first year to the fourth year, namely 2014-2017, the principal was Ustad Indra Rustam, M.Ag. Then from 2018 until now, the principal was Ustad Ahmad Solihin, S.HI. and received accreditation in 2019 with accreditation B. Currently this school has 276 students. 2) the curriculum used at this Islamic Elementary School is Curriculum 13 and focuses on the Tahfid program, which is mandatory in every class. The number of subjects is 16 lessons, namely: a) Tahfidz, b) Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK), c) Arabic, d) Hadith, e) Aqidah Akhlak, f) Indonesian, g) Mathematics, h) Fiqh , i) Qur'an Hadith, j) Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn), k) Arts and Culture, l) History of Islamic Culture (SKI), m) Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), n) English, o) Social Sciences (IPS), and p) Social Sciences (IPA).
