Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of modeling techniques in overcoming maladaptive behavior in class X students at Madarasah Aliyah Negeri. The method used in this research was pre-test post-test only control group design with sampling using a purposive sampling technique, taking a sample of 20 students with the lowest scores and high levels of maladaptive behavior based on the results of the pretest analysis, with the reason that purposive sampling increases methodological accuracy and trustworthiness of data and results by matching the sample to the aims and objectives of the study. The sample used was 20 class X students. Data collection was carried out using a maladaptive behavior questionnaire which has been proven valid and reliable. From the results of research using the t test, it is known that behavioral counseling using modeling techniques is effective in overcoming maladaptive behavior. This can be seen from the results of research data analysis, which shows that tcount = 3.806, and ttable with db = 18 and a significance level of 0.05 or 5% is 2.101, so it is obtained that tcount > ttable (3.806 > 2.101) from the post test results of the experimental group is greater than control group. So the conclusion of the alternative hypothesis is accepted in other words. Behavioral Counseling with Modeling Techniques is Effective in Overcoming Maladaptive Behavior in Class X State Madrasah Aliyah Students.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to apply group counseling with a behavioral approach to improve the learning achievement abilities of class VII students at MTS TPI Medan. This research uses quantitative. The method used in this research is one group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study was all 60 class VII students. The research sample consisted of 9 students. The data collection tool is a learning achievement questionnaire whose validity has been tested using SPSS 29.0. From the results of the t test in the form of a paired sample test, learning achievement ability is in the high category with an average value (mean) of 16.88889 and also shows that there is a significant value of <.001, meaning less than 0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected. So it can be said that there is a significant difference between learning achievement abilities before and after implementing group counseling with a behavioral approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektifitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan Teknik Resolving Conflicts Cooperatively terhadap sikap toleransi beragama siswa di kelas XI SMA SWASTA UTAMA MEDAN. Jenis penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental dengan model one-group pretest-posttest Design. Pengambilan responden penelitian ini secara purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA SWASTA UTAMA MEDAN berjumlah 7 siswa dengan tingkatan sikap toleransi beragama rendah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test). Hasil Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan uji asumsi, data memenuhi kriteria normalitas dan homogenitas. Selanjutnya, hasil uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig.2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05), yang mengidentifikasi adanya peningkatan sikap toleransi beragama siswa secara signifikan setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan Teknik resolving conflicts cooperatively.

Abstract

In this global era, like it or not, we have to deal with technology, especially information technology. This is because the technology has affected our daily lives. Therefore, we should not 'stutter' technology. Many research results show that those who are late in mastering information, then it is too late to get opportunities to advance. This is as stated by Alfin Toffler that those who do not master science and technology, then their position will be marginalized and they will be blown away by the wave of globalization which is full of competition. In this modern era, information and communication technology has developed so rapidly. Information and communication technology has penetrated and penetrated so deeply into various aspects of human life. The application of information technology in education is a real and factual challenge. It is undeniable that advances in information technology have had a positive impact on the advancement of education today. Especially computer and internet technology, both in terms of hardware and software, provide many offers and choices for the world of education to support the learning process. The advantage offered lies not only in the speed factor for obtaining information but also in multimedia facilities that can make learning more interesting, audiovisual and interactive. In line with the development of internet technology, many learning activities can be carried out by utilizing this technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Group Guidance Services with Role Playing Techniques to Improve the Ability to Manage Emotions in Al-Washliyah 12 Perbaungan High School Students. The model in this study uses a quantitative method, an experimental model of quantitative research can be interpreted as a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research a certain population or sample, data collection using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical with the aim of testing the hypothesis that has been set. Based on the output of "Test Statistics" above, it can be seen that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is worth 0.043. Because the value of 0.043 ˂ 0.05, it is concluded that H1 is accepted. Which is an increase in the control of angry emotions of Al-Washliyah 12 Perbaungan High School students after being given role playing group counseling. So it can be said that the influence of group guidance services with role playing techniques can improve the ability to manage emotions in Al-Washliyah 12 Perbaungan High School students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of Special School C Muzdalifah, 2) to determine the curriculum and teaching methods of Special School C Muzdalifah, and 3) to determine the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education at Special School C Muzdalifah. In this study the author uses a historical method or historical method. The historical method consis of data collection, source criticism, interpretation and finally historiography. The research approaches used in this study are the geographical approach, sociological approach, educational approach and historical education. The results of this study are 1) Special School (SLB) C Muzdalifah is an educational unit that is managed in an integrated manner (one roof) consisting of SDLB, SMPLB, and SMALB. Based on its geographical location, SLB C Muzdalifah is located at Latitude 3 Longitude 98 which is near the Medan city crossroads, North Sumatra. Initially, before changing its name to an educational unit, SLB C Muzdalifah was established as a halfway house for street children and scavengers. They were given an education and skills so that the Foundation Management found children who were physically good and good but experienced intellectual delays. The Foundation Mother was motivated to collect mentally retarded students to be given education so that the education office gave advice and recommendations and gave permission for the establishment of a special school in 2000 so that with the passage and development of time, SLB C Muzdalifah was established. 2) The curriculum used at SLB C Muzdalifah is the independent curriculum. In the implementation of this curriculum, children are given the opportunity to develop themselves with their desires and can develop their potential, and teachers are only facilitators. and 3) Implementation of Islamic Religious Education at Special School C Muzdalifah, namely a) Learning and Practicing Prayer, b) Learning Morals, c) Learning pronunciation and writing of hijaiyyah letters, d) memorizing prayers, and muroja'ah Al-Quran.

Abstract

The importance of education is very consistent in the fields of science and culture, Islam has its own teachings in the field of education, and Islamic education is to realize the ideal image of Muslims. Therefore, the education theory that is built must be sourced from Islamic education. Because all references or references from which emanate values and knowledge will be internalized in Islamic education. The process of formal Islamic education came only after the revival of madrasas. In this study, the author uses field research (field research) which is a mixed-method research method with a phenomenological approach, (examining the facts of what happened) where the author focuses more on describing a phenomenon or event that is obtained with the background of the researcher's interest in a phenomenon. Students at MTsN 1 Langkat 1 Langkat. Based on the data, in the 4-year academic year before the pandemic and until the initial meeting, it was found that in the 2020/2021 academic year as many as 256 or 28% of students, students experienced the following problems: violation of school rules, student attendance, lazy learning, brawls, pornography, disturbing friends, learning difficulties in learning, feelings of inferiority, fear of being wrong/ Lack of confidence and lack of serious learning awareness. This madrasa is still very much needed by parents who show their desire to send their children to a better education through the program -programs that shape early adolescent development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using modeling techniques in improving students' learning motivation through group guidance services for class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. The researcher applied a quantitative approach to measure the effect of treatment objectively through data that can be analyzed statistically. The type of research used was pre-experimental. The design chosen in this study was a one-group pretest-posttest design, which is a design involving one group that is given a pretest before treatment and a posttest after treatment, allowing researchers to observe changes or improvements that occur after the intervention is carried out. The population in this study consisted of all class VIII students, totaling 110 students, while the sample taken was 8 students with low levels of learning motivation. The sample collection technique used was non-probability sampling, especially purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out with a learning motivation scale. The analysis requirement test applied in the study as a requirement for this parametric statistical analysis was the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Paired sample t-test, with a significance level of 5%. The results of the analysis showed the Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. So, there is a real difference between the mean of the learning motivation indicator in the pretest and posttest (2-tailed), which is 0.000 < 0.005, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. After the implementation of group guidance with modeling techniques, there was an increase. In this regard, group guidance services with modeling techniques affect increasing learning motivation in class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan.

Abstract

The low ability of children with autism to maintain eye contact and remain seated during learning activities often becomes a major obstacle in the classroom learning process. These behavioral limitations reduce focus, interaction, and learning effectiveness, as observed among autistic students at Sibolga State Special Needs School. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of token economy counseling in improving eye contact and sitting behavior in children with autism. The research employed a single-subject research (SSR) method using an A–B–A design, with data collected through direct observation during baseline condition 1 (A1), intervention condition (B), and baseline condition 2 (A2). During the intervention phase, subjects who received token economy counseling showed a significant improvement in eye contact and sitting behavior, achieving a very good category. Furthermore, the improvement persisted in baseline condition 2 (A2), indicating that the positive effects of the intervention remained even after the treatment was discontinued. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that token economy counseling is effective in improving eye contact and sitting behavior in children with autism and can be applied as a behavioral intervention strategy in special education settings.
