Abstract

The transformation of the Arabic language curriculum in Indonesia represents an adaptive response to changing times, student needs, and global developments in education. This article aims to examine the historical development of the Arabic curriculum over time, explore its underlying philosophical foundations, and evaluate recent innovations in modern learning contexts. The study employs a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, using data gathered from academic journals, books, policy documents, and recent research findings. The results reveal a significant paradigm shift from a grammatical to a communicative and contextual approach. Philosophically, the curriculum integrates Islamic values, the educational philosophy of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, and the principles of progressivism, which emphasize active and humanistic learning. Innovations such as the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, the integration of digital technology, and project-based learning reflect a new direction toward a more flexible and relevant curriculum. This study concludes that the development of the Arabic language curriculum must be carried out collaboratively, inclusively, and sustainably to address the challenges of education in the modern era. ABSTRAKTransformasi kurikulum Bahasa Arab di Indonesia mencerminkan upaya adaptif terhadap dinamika zaman, kebutuhan peserta didik, serta perkembangan global dalam pendidikan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menelaah perkembangan historis kurikulum Bahasa Arab dari masa ke masa, mengkaji landasan filosofis yang mendasarinya, dan mengevaluasi berbagai inovasi yang diterapkan dalam konteks pembelajaran modern. Dengan menggunakan metode literature review berpendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah seperti jurnal, buku, dokumen kebijakan, dan hasil penelitian terkini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum Bahasa Arab di Indonesia telah mengalami pergeseran paradigma, dari pendekatan gramatikal menuju pendekatan komunikatif dan kontekstual. Di sisi filosofis, kurikulum ini mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam, pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara, serta prinsip progresivisme yang menekankan pembelajaran aktif dan humanistik. Sementara itu, inovasi kurikulum terkini seperti implementasi MBKM, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dan pendekatan berbasis proyek menjadi bukti konkret dari transformasi kurikulum yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan abad ke-21. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan dalam mengembangkan kurikulum Bahasa Arab yang relevan, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the feasibility of the abacus skills training management model product designed to improve the competency of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. Product feasibility assessment is carried out through validation tests by design experts, material experts and language experts, practitioners and then the results are in FGD. The assessment results show that the product received a score of 78.50% from design experts in the "decent" category, 85% from material experts in the "very feasible" category, and 80% from language experts in the "very feasible" category. Overall, the average model feasibility value reached 81.2%, which is included in the "very feasible" category. These findings indicate that the abacus skills training management model has significant potential to be implemented in supporting the competency development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. It is hoped that this model can be an innovative solution in improving the quality of learning in madrasas

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan kurikulum Bahasa Arab di madrasah memiliki urgensi tinggi mengingat perannya sebagai bahasa utama dalam memahami ajaran Islam, namun masih menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam hal efektivitas pembelajaran, integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman, serta relevansi dengan kebutuhan zaman. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyusun tinjauan sistematis terhadap berbagai pendekatan, teori, dan model pengembangan kurikulum Bahasa Arab di madrasah, dengan menganalisis kekuatan dan kelemahan masing-masing model serta menawarkan rekomendasi pengembangan yang holistik dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah terkini, dengan kriteria inklusi mencakup publikasi lima tahun terakhir yang relevan secara empiris maupun teoritis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model integratif (kurikulum nasional-pesantren), pendekatan nadhariyyah al-wihdah, multiliterasi berbasis kearifan lokal, hingga pendekatan berbasis teknologi dan ACTFL telah diterapkan dengan hasil bervariasi. Keberhasilan pengembangan kurikulum sangat ditentukan oleh keterlibatan guru, relevansi konteks lokal, serta kesiapan infrastruktur digital. Meski terdapat berbagai inovasi, ditemukan pula tantangan berupa ketidaksiapan guru, keterbatasan sarana, dan kesenjangan antara idealisme kurikulum dan praktik lapangan. Dengan menyintesis temuan-temuan tersebut, artikel ini merekomendasikan model pengembangan kurikulum Bahasa Arab yang adaptif secara digital, berbasis nilai spiritual, dan relevan dengan dinamika sosial budaya madrasah masa kini.

Abstract

Abstrak Kemajuan globalisasi yang pesat mendorong pesantren di Indonesia untuk berevolusi sambil tetap mempertahankan identitas pendidikan tradisional mereka. Namun, proses ini sering kali mengabaikan implementasi terstruktur dari teks-teks Islam klasik seperti Fathul Qarib, sebuah kitab fundamental dalam studi fikih (yurisprudensi Islam). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi dan dampak pengajaran kitab Fathul Qarib terhadap pemahaman dan praktik ibadah para santri di Pondok Pesantren Alhana, Bangkalan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data mengikuti metode Grounded Theory yang melibatkan pengodean terbuka, aksial, dan selektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran Fathul Qarib dilakukan melalui tiga tahap utama: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pendekatan terstruktur ini secara signifikan telah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep fikih dan meningkatkan akurasi dan konsistensi praktik ibadah mereka, yang selaras dengan ajaran Fathul Qarib. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Fiqih, Fathul Qarib, Pesantren, Praktik Ibadah, Implementasi Kitab Klasik Abstract The rapid advancement of globalization compels Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia to evolve while preserving their traditional educational identity. However, this process often overlooks the structured implementation of classical Islamic texts such as Fathul Qarib, a fundamental book in the study of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence). This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation and impact of Fathul Qarib instruction on students' understanding and worship practices at Alhana Islamic Boarding School, Bangkalan. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Grounded Theory method involving open, axial, and selective coding. The findings reveal that the Fathul Qarib learning process is conducted in three key stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Abstract

This study explores how Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is institutionalized. In the era of global educational reform and Industry 4.0, higher education institutions are required to adopt learning models that emphasize measurable competencies and graduate relevance to societal and industry needs. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) has emerged as a strategic response to these demands, particularly in Islamic higher education, where integration with spiritual and ethical values remains essential. This study aims to explore how OBE is institutionalized through transformative curriculum management at UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Indonesia, by analyzing its planning, implementation, and evaluation stages within the framework of Hunger and Wheelen’s strategic management theory. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation review involving university leaders, curriculum developers, and lecturers. The findings reveal that the institutionalization of OBE at UIN RIL is characterized by a systematic and participatory process, including the formulation of learning outcomes aligned with the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), capacity building for lecturers, and the establishment of continuous quality improvement (CQI) mechanisms through internal audits and tracer studies. The study concludes that transformational leadership, adaptive governance, and integrated quality assurance systems are critical factors in sustaining OBE-based reforms. Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan agama Islam bagi sebagian siswa sangat tidak menyenangkan sehingga kurangnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran pendidikan Agama Islam menyebabkan mereka tidak memahami materi dengan baik dan tidak dapat mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Strategi pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan tidak menarik bagi siswa sangat berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar. Salah satu faktornya kemampuan mengajar guru Peniddikan Agama Islam masih kurang efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan strategi pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Strategi pembelajaran yang diuji adalah strategi yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran PAI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research), Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. Strategi pembelajaran yang efektif yaitu meliputi penggunaan multimedia, diskusi, dan simulasi. Dengan demikian penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI.Learning Islamic religious education for some students is very unpleasant so that students' lack of interest in learning Islamic religious education causes them not to understand the material well and cannot apply religious values in everyday life. Learning strategies that are less varied and unattractive to students have a big influence on interestin learning. One factor is that the teaching ability of Islamic Religious Education teachers is still less effective in increasing student learning activity. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing learning strategies on increasing student learning activity in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. The learning strategies tested are strategies designed to increase student involvement in the PAI learning process. The research method used in this research is library research. The results of this research show that the application of effective learning strategies can increase student learning activity in PAI subjects. Effective learning strategies include the use of multimedia, discussions and simulations. Thus, this research is expected to provide a better understanding of the importance of effective learning strategies in increasing student participation in PAI learning.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the management of religious culture in SMP IT Tulang Bawang District, Indonesia. Specifically, it seeks to understand how the school integrates religious values and practices into daily life, fosters tolerance and respect for diverse faiths, and addresses challenges related to religious education. Methodology: A mixed-methods approach was employed, utilizing qualitative interviews with school administrators, teachers, students, and parents, alongside quantitative data analysis of school documents and surveys. Results: The findings reveal that SMP IT Tulang Bawang implements a comprehensive religious culture management system. This includes mandatory daily prayers, religious studies classes, integration of religious values into various subjects, and extracurricular activities promoting interfaith dialogue and understanding. The study also identifies positive outcomes such as increased religious awareness, tolerance, and respectful behavior among students. However, limitations such as limited resources for religious education and potential challenges in addressing sensitive religious topics were also acknowledged. Limitations: The study's generalizability may be limited due to its focus on a single school and context. Furthermore, potential social desirability bias in responses needs to be considered. Contribution: This study provides valuable insights into the successful management of religious culture in Islamic schools, offering valuable lessons for other educational institutions seeking to foster a values-based and inclusive learning environment. It also highlights the importance of continuous improvement and addressing emerging challenges in religious education.

Abstract

Purpose: This proposes is a strategic plan for fostering religious moderation within the Al-Ma'arif Institute in Way Kanan District, Indonesia. The plan aims to cultivate a tolerant and inclusive learning environment that embraces diversity and promotes peaceful coexistence among students and staff. Research methodology: The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis to gather data on existing religious practices and attitudes within the Institute. The insights gained inform the development of a strategic framework encompassing key areas such as curriculum development, teacher training, student engagement activities, and community outreach initiatives. Results: The anticipated outcomes of implementing the strategic plan include enhanced understanding and appreciation for diverse religious perspectives among students and teachers., development of peaceful and tolerant campus culture that respects individual beliefs, improved community relations and contributions to fostering religious harmony in Way Kanan District. Contribution: This research offers a valuable roadmap for educational institutions seeking to promote religious moderation within their communities. The strategic plan, tailored to the specific context of the Al-Ma'arif Institute, provides a practical framework that can be adapted and applied by other institutions in diverse settings. Abstract

Purpose: This research explores in detail each of the PDCA stages with reference to the concept of entrepreneurship and how it is implemented at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Research methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach, this type of research is a case study. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Data collection procedures through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction (Data Reduction), data presentation (Data Display), Conclusions: Drawing / Verifying. Results: The results showed that the implementation of entrepreneurship education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 in Bandar Lampung provides many benefits, but cannot be separated from several obstacles that need to be overcome. The lack of adequate infrastructure and facilities is one of the main obstacles, limiting the school's ability to organize optimal entrepreneurship activities. Teacher support and understanding are also key factors, as a lack of commitment or understanding can hinder program implementation. Students' limited knowledge and skills, especially related to entrepreneurship, are also barriers that need to be addressed. Additional efforts may be needed to improve students' understanding of business concepts and the practical skills required. Challenges in integrating the curriculum, limited financial resources, and the unsustainability of local industry involvement are also barriers that require special attention.

Abstract

Purpose: This research delves deeply into various strategic aspects involving Aisyiyah Lampung Kindergarten, a preschool educational institution in Lampung. The main focus of the research involves the analysis of common problems related to education promotion, with an in-depth focus on promotion strategies, branding, local community involvement, and educational excellence. Results: The results of the study show that the main problems of institutions involve promotional strategies that need to be updated, as well as the challenge of building a strong brand image. Improvement efforts, such as increased involvement in the local community, clarification of promotional messages, and emphasis on the institution's core values, have had a positive impact on the brand image of Aisyiyah Lampung Kindergarten. These results have implications that a holistic strategy involving active engagement, careful brand management, and a focus on educational excellence can increase the institution's attractiveness in the eyes of the local community. Contribution: This research contributes to a further understanding of the dynamics of preschool education and provides a foundation for continuous improvement in brand promotion and management strategies in similar institutions.
