This study is motivated by the observation that some students struggle to manage their time and study situations, often prioritizing activities that do not support their personal development. This indicates that students may have inadequate self-regulated learning. The objectives of this research are to describe: 1) the overall self-regulated learning of students, 2) the self-regulated learning of students in the exact sciences, 3) the self-regulated learning of students in the social sciences, and 4) to examine the differences in self-regulated learning between students in the exact sciences and social sciences. This research employs a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive design. The sample consisted of 388 students selected using proportional random sampling. The instrument used was a self-regulated learning questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and t-test analysis with Microsoft Excel and SPSS 26. The findings reveal that: 1) the overall self-regulated learning of students is categorized as high; 2) the self-regulated learning of students in the exact sciences is categorized as high; 3) the self-regulated learning of students in the social sciences is categorized as moderate; and 4) there is a significant difference in self-regulated learning between students in the exact sciences and social sciences. The implications for counseling services that can be provided include informational services and group guidance.

The instability of psychological development during this period puts teenagers at risk of experiencing alexithymia, which is a disorder in the form of an inability to identify, understand and respond to the feelings of themselves and others which then appears in the form of weak empathy. A further impact of this disorder is interpersonal relationship problems at the next stage of adolescent development. Apart from that, there is a tendency for more serious mental disorders to emerge. The aim of this research is to develop an online counseling model based on Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy to reduce the condition of alexithymia experienced by middle school students. The model developed is predicted to be able to provide significant changes considering that counseling media is also carried out via a web-based platform, so that it will increase the opportunity to reduce mental disorders experienced by students. This research is development research which is planned to last for 1 (one) year, where the results of research that has been carried out previously, especially related to online counseling (since 2014) are the basis of this research. This research uses a research and development approach with modified ADDIE principles, resulting in a product in the form of an online counseling model that is able to accommodate the process of reducing alexithymia disorders in students. With a combination of a post-modern counseling approach and the use of internet media, it produces a product that has high novelty in reducing psychological disorders in students.

This study aims to describe coping strategies and anxiety among students in writing their theses and to identify the relationship between coping strategies and anxiety among students in writing their theses at Universitas Negeri Padang. This research is a descriptive correlational quantitative study. The research sample consisted of 248 final-year students selected using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling method. Data were obtained using validated and reliable coping and anxiety questionnaires. Data processing was carried out using percentage analysis techniques, and the relationship between variables was tested using the Pearson product-moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The level of coping strategies among students is in the moderate category, with a percentage reaching 71%. (2) The level of anxiety among students is in the high category, with a percentage reaching 87%. (3) Correlation analysis shows a negative and significant relationship between coping strategies (variable X) and the level of anxiety (variable Y) among students, with a correlation coefficient (r) of -0,559 and a significance level of 0.000, indicating a fairly strong relationship between the two variables. This significant negative relationship suggests that the higher the level of coping strategies, the lower the level of anxiety among students, and conversely, the lower the coping strategies, the higher the anxiety level among students.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) includes recurring patterns of obsessions or compulsions, or a combination of both. Obsessions are persistent and intrusive thoughts that cause anxiety and are beyond the individual's ability to control. Compulsions are irresistible urges to perform certain behaviors repeatedly, such as bathing repeatedly, washing hands or clothes repeatedly. One of the counseling services provided for individuals with OCD is using the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach. The method used in this research is a literature study by collecting data from previous research results and relevant results. The objectives of the literature study in this research are 1) finding the problem to be researched, 2) looking for information and data that is relevant to the topic to be discussed, 3) adding new knowledge from the results of the research being studied, 4) testing the basic truth of the approach theory in the problem under study. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of this research indicate that the CBT approach as a counseling service in alleviating the problems of individuals with OCD can be said to be effective. Several previous studies have used this approach in treating cases of individuals with OCD. This is because this approach can change the client's mindset or view of individuals with OCD from irrational in the form of repetitive behavior with obsessions and compulsions to rational. Apart from that, he is also able to express and develop the feelings he has, what he thinks and the behavior he carries out to be better than before.

This study aims to test the application of narrative counseling to reduce students' communication anxiety. The counseling process consists of 3 stages, namely externalization of problems, Mapping the influence of problems in a person's life and Mapping the influence of a person's life on the development of problems. This study used a pre-test post-test one group design. The subjects of this study were 5 students who experienced high communication anxiety. Data analysis of this study used non-parametric statistics of the sign test and IMCS. The results of the data analysis showed that ρ = 0.031 was smaller than α = 0.05. Thus H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, so the accepted hypothesis was that there was a decrease in communication anxiety scores in junior high school students after narrative counseling was given. While the results of the IMCS analysis showed the emergence of different actions, reflections, protests, reconceptualizations and changes before the narrative counseling intervention. This means that the application of narrative counseling can reduce communication anxiety in junior high school students.
