Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan keterampilan sosial-emosional anak usia dini melalui aktivitas bermain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas bermain, seperti permainan peran dan bermain kooperatif, berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan empati, kerja sama, serta kemampuan mengelola emosi. Interaksi sosial selama bermain membantu anak memahami norma sosial dan mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan bermain dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial-emosional anak usia dini

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. 2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. 3) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi lingkungan sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. 4) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik, disiplin kerja dan kondisi lingkungan sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng Subjek penelitian ini yakni guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng berjumlah 70 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan metode kuesioner yang diuji dengan uji validitas, dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus cronbach alpha. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. 2) Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. 3) Kondisi lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. 4) Kompetensi pedagogik, disiplin kerja dan kondisi lingkungan sekolah secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng.

Abstract

This study investigated the heat tolerance of horned and polled Bali cattle under high ambient temperatures and physical exercise using heat tolerance index parameters. Eight male Bali cattle (four horned and four polled) were observed in the morning and afternoon after walking exercises under direct sunlight. Measured parameters included the Iberian Heat Tolerance Coefficient (IHTC), Benezra’s Coefficient (BC), and panting score (PS). A 2×2 factorial design (cattle type × measurement period) was used, and data were analyzed via two-way ANOVA, followed by Duncan’s test for significant interactions (P < 0.05).Results showed no significant differences (P > 0.05) in heat tolerance indices between horned and polled cattle. IHTC (106.15 ± 9.89 vs. 102.40 ± 10.93), BC (2.22 ± 0.35 vs. 2.28 ± 0.39), and PS (0.88 ± 0.83 vs. 1.38 ± 1.06) were comparable, indicating similar physiological responses to heat. However, the measurement period significantly affected (P < 0.05) all parameters. IHTC decreased in the afternoon (96.78 ± 5.56) compared to the morning (114.78 ± 5.22), while BC (2.29 ± 0.76 vs. 1.91 ± 0.77) and PS (1.88 ± 0.64 vs. 0.38 ± 0.52) increased, suggesting cattle experienced heat stress as temperatures rose. significant interaction (P < 0.05) between cattle type and measurement period was observed. Horned cattle had the highest IHTC in the morning (117.70 ± 4.28), while polled cattle had the lowest in the afternoon (92.95 ± 4.25). Polled cattle also had the highest BC (2.64 ± 0.06) and PS (2.25 ± 0.50) in the afternoon, indicating greater heat stress susceptibility. In conclusion, while both types showed similar heat tolerance under normal conditions, polled cattle were more vulnerable to heat stress, particularly after physical exertion in the afternoon.

Abstract

This study analyzes teachers' perceptions of the principal's leadership style in enhancing teacher performance, infrastructure, curriculum implementation, and the teaching and learning process at SD Celebes Islamic School Belopa, Kabupaten Luwu. The study involved 37 respondents (27 educators and 10 administrative staff) using a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data analysis is conducted descriptively. The findings reveal that the principal's leadership style significantly influences education quality: 1) The authoritarian style contributes the most to teacher performance development (37.5%) by increasing compliance through strict supervision; 2) In infrastructure provision, the authoritarian style is dominant (41.3%), ensuring facility availability through strict oversight, while the democratic style (41.2%) promotes participation and transparency, and the laissez-faire style (17.5%) offers freedom but negatively impacts maintenance; 3) The democratic leadership style has the greatest impact on curriculum implementation (43.9%), enhancing participation and satisfaction, whereas the authoritarian style (28.1%) supports uniformity but limits innovation, and the laissez-faire style (28.0%) allows freedom in teaching methods; 4) In the teaching process, the democratic style is most effective (38.3%), fostering innovation and teacher involvement, while the authoritarian style (34.5%) reinforces standards but restricts creativity, and the laissez-faire style (27.2%) encourages creativity but leads to inconsistency. The study highlights that a combination of leadership styles tailored to each educational aspect can create a conducive learning environment, emphasizing the importance of flexible leadership to meet dynamic educational needs and improve sustainable quality.

Abstract

Character education plays a crucial role in shaping the younger generation to be individuals of integrity, morality, and ethics. This article discusses the urgency of instilling positive values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and respect in education. Integrating these values into the elementary and secondary school curricula through a comprehensive approach can create an environment conducive to character development. Various methods, including project-based learning, extracurricular activities, and exemplary behavior from educators, can assist children in learning and internalizing these values. The article also identifies challenges in implementing character education and offers practical solutions to overcome them. By instilling positive values from an early age, it is hoped that the younger generation will grow into individuals who are not only academically excellent but also possess strong character, ready to face future challenges with a positive and constructive attitude.

Abstract

In an effort to eradicate extreme poverty, the Government of Rokan Hulu Regency took steps to implement the first policy strategy, reducing the expenditure burden. Second, increase in income. Third, the reduction in the number of pockets. The aims of this study were (1) to find out what the Rokan Hulu Regency Government's Policies/Programs for Accelerating the Elimination of Extreme Poverty in Rambah Hilir Tengah Village, Rambah Hilir District. (2) Knowing the Effect of Policy Implementation of the Rokan Hulu District Government on the Acceleration of the Elimination of Extreme Poverty in Rambah Hilir Tengah Village, Rambah Hilir District. The research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type, the population is Extremely Poor Families based on Data Targeting the Acceleration of Extreme Poverty Reduction (P3KE), consisting of deciles 1-6 with a sample of 332 households. All instruments have been tested so that they meet the validity test requrements using product correlation and reliability using Cronbach's alpha. Data analysis used the T-test and the large percentage of influence used the Adjuster R Square coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that (1) a reduction in expenditure burden (X1) has no effect on extreme poverty (Y) with a Sig (Perial) value of X1 to Y of 0.143 > 0.05 and a tcount value of 1.470 < ttable 1.967. (2) Increased Income (X2) has a significant effect on Extreme Poverty (Y). (3) minimizing the poverty enclave (X3) has a significant effect on Extreme Poverty (Y), with a Sig (Perial) value of X3 to Y of 0.00 < 0.05 and a tcount value of 42.448 > ttable 1.967. Reducing Expenditures, Increasing Incomes and Minimizing Poverty Pocket Areas Do Contribute to Extreme Poverty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemain bola voli putra cendana seringkali cepat merasa lelah, rawan cedera, dan sulit memulihkan denyut nadi. Adapun yang menjadi masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “apakah ada pengaruh sport massage terhadap penurunan denyut nadi recovery pemain bola voli putra cendana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh sport massage terhadap penurunan denyut nadi recovery pemain bola voli putra cendana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua variabel yang terdiri dari satu variable bebas (sport massage) dan satu variable terikat yaitu denyut nadi recovery. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemain bola voli putra cendana sebanyak 10 pemain. Tehnik sampling yang digunakan yaitu tehnik studi populasi.Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode perbuatan yaitu test dan pengukuran dengan instrument tehnik phalpase. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji t dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Karena t hitung > t tabel (4,196 > 1,833) maka hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh sport massage terhadap penurunan denyut nadi recovery pemain bola voli putra cendana.

Abstract

Principal leadership is an important factor in encouraging the creation of teacher professionalism in elementary schools. Principals who have a transformative, participatory, and visionary leadership style are able to create a school culture that supports the continuous development of teacher professionalism. This study aims to examine in depth the role of principal leadership in improving elementary school teacher professionalism through a literature study approach from various current academic sources. Teacher professionalism is not only seen from the aspects of pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies, but also from attitudes towards lifelong learning, involvement in curriculum development, and adaptation to changes in 21st century education. The results of the study show that effective leadership can encourage teachers to innovate, collaborate, and increase their professional commitment and responsibility. Principals also play a role in providing training, conducting constructive supervision, and creating a positive and supportive work environment. These findings confirm that principals are not only administrative managers, but also strategic learning leaders. Therefore, strengthening the leadership capacity of principals is crucial to encourage educational transformation at the elementary school level. This study recommends the importance of leadership training programs that focus on teacher professionalism development as part of improving the quality of education.

Abstract

AbstractThe use of natural fibers as a substitute for synthetic fibers is one step in improving the quality of superior fiber values. One source of natural fiber that can be used to make fiber is watermelon bark fiber (Guazuma Ulmifolia) which can be obtained from nature. Semang wood trees are a type of plant that is often found in the Papuan wilderness. Watermelon bark can produce fiber from the bark. Fiber can be used as rope or knitted thread because it has good durability. This research uses an applied experimental method with a qualitative approach, the research subject is watermelon bark. The data collection process to complete this research uses two data collection techniques, namely documentation and experimentation. Exploration results show that the process of processing semang bark can be processed into fiber by separating the bark from the tree trunk, then soaking, cleaning and separating the bark and fiber, then drying in the sun. Semang bark fiber can be used to make rope because the fiber is very strong. The results of the research showed that testing the tensile strength and elongation of semang bark had strength and durability when applying noken. This explains that the semang bark fiber meets the fiber strength standards for making noken. Semang bark processing is utilized by making knitted noken or creative noken products of two prototype models that combine semang bark fibers (Guazuma Ulmifolia). This is done to create a different product while maintaining the aesthetic value and prestige value of the noken product producedAbstrakPenggunaan serat alam sebagai pengganti serat sintetis merupakan salah satu langkah dalam meningkatkan kualitas nilai serat yang unggul. Salah satu sumber serat alam yang dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi serat adalah serat kulit kayu semang (Guazuma Ulmifolia) yang dapat diperoleh dari alam. Pohon kayu semang adalah jenis tumbuhan yang  banyak terdapat di hutan belantara Papua. Kulit kayu semang dapat menghasilkan serat dari kulit batangnya. Serat dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai tali-talian, atau benang rajutan karena memiliki daya tahan yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen terapan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, subjek penelitian adalah kulit kayu semang. Proses pengumpulan data untuk melengkapi penelitian ini dengan menggunakan dua teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi dan eksperimen. Hasil eksplorasi menunjukan bahwa proses pengolahan kulit kayu semang dapat diolah menjadi serat dengan cara memisahkan kulit dari batang pohon, lalu direndam, dibersihkan dan dipisahkan antara kulit dan serat, selanjutnya dijemur. Serat kulit kayu semang dapat dimanfaatkkan menjadi tali karena serat yang sangat kuat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengujian kekuatan tarik dan mulur kulit kayu semang memiliki kekuatan dan daya tahan pada penerapan noken. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa serat kulit kayu semang memenuhi standar kekuatan serat untuk pembuatan noken. Pengolahan kulit kayu semang dimanfaatkan dengan cara membuat produk noken rajutan atau noken kreasi sebanyak dua model prototype yang memadu serat kulit kayu semang (Guazuma Ulmifolia). Hal ini dilakukan untuk menciptakan suatu produk yang berbeda dengan tetap menjaga nilai estetika dan nilai prestige dari produk noken yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Kurikulum pendidikan di Indonesia merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Dalam jurnal ini, dilakukan analisis kritis terhadap kurikulum yang berlaku, dengan fokus pada implementasi, efektivitas, dan relevansinya terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat dan perkembangan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis data sekunder dari berbagai sumber, termasuk laporan pemerintah, jurnal akademik, dan studi kasus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kurikulum telah mengalami berbagai perubahan, masih terdapat tantangan signifikan dalam hal implementasi dan adaptasi terhadap kebutuhan nyata di lapangan.
