Abstract

Salah satu energi alterniatif bahan bakar minyak adalah bahan bakar hidrogen. Namun untuk melakukan proses elektrolisis air diperlukan lebih banyak energi listrik. Agar tegangan baterai tetap stabil diperukannya tegangan tambahan yang bisa di dapat dari pemanfaatan gas buang kendaraan bermotor berupa pembangkit listrik sederhana dengan memanfaatkan generator/dinamo sepeda dan turbin angin mini yang dikemas sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat menyalurkan gas buang kendaraan bermotor untuk dikonversi menjadi energi listrik. Penelitian ini berfokus pada modifikasi pada lilitan generator untuk dilihat hasil konversi tegangan listriknya. Jumlah lilitan yang digunakan adalah 99, 104(standar), 109, 114, 119, 124 dan 129 lilitan pada kecepatan yang bervariasi dari 30 km/jam, 40 km/jam, 50 km/jam, dan 60 km/jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, jika dibandingkan dengan output lilitan standar, lilitan 99 dan 109 mengalami penurunan masing-masing sebesar 1,21% dan 0,4%. Sedangkan hasil lilitan 114, 119, 124 dan 129 lilitan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 1,8%, 6,7%, 8,5%, dan 17%. One of the alternative energy sources to fossil fuel is hydrogen fuel. However, the process of water electrolysis requires a significant amount of electrical energy. To maintain battery voltage stability, additional voltage is needed, which can be obtained from the utilization of vehicle exhaust gases through a simple power generator using a bicycle generator/dynamo and a mini wind turbine designed to harness the exhaust gases of motor vehicles and convert them into electrical energy. This research focuses on modifications to the winding of the generator to observe the results of its electrical voltage conversion. The number of windings used is 99, 104 (standard), 109, 114, 119, 124, and 129 windings at varying speeds of 30 km/h, 40 km/h, 50 km/h, and 60 km/h. The research results show that, when compared to the standard winding output, windings of 99 and 109 experienced reductions of 1.21% and 0.4%, respectively. Meanwhile, windings of 114, 119, 124, and 129 experienced increases of 1.8%, 6.7%, 8.5%, and 17%, respectively.

Abstract

Tujuan riset media pendidikan berbasis android memakai ispring suite pada modul motor bensin adalah menciptakan media pendidikan jenis android yang valid dan praktis. Pengembangan aplikasi dicoba dengan tata cara riset model pengembangan 4- D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). Penelitian dilakukan di Departemen Teknik Otomotif FT UNP. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 56 orang mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Otomotif Angkatan 2021. Berdasarkan validasi yang telah dilakukan oleh ahli materi terhadap pengembangan aplikasi memperoleh nilai 0,883 sehingga tercantum dalam jenis “Validitas Tinggi”. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli media memperoleh nilai 0,927 berarti “Validitas Tinggi”. Pengujian praktikalitas dilakukan oleh dosen terhadap pengembangan aplikasi memperoleh hasil 94% yang berarti “Sangat Praktis”. Hasil uji praktikalitas mahasiswa memperoleh persentase nilai sebesar 96% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”.    The purpose of researching android-based educational media using the ispring suite on the gasoline motor module is to create valid and practical android-type educational media. Application development is tried with the research procedures of the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The research was conducted at the Department of Automotive Engineering FT UNP. The subjects of this research were 56 students of the Department of Automotive Engineering Class of 2021. Based on the validation that has been carried out by material experts on application development, the value is 0.883 so that it is listed in the "High Validity" type. The results of the validation carried out by media experts obtained a value of 0.927, meaning "High Validity". Practicality testing conducted by lecturers on application development obtained a result of 94% which means "Very Practical". The results of the student practicality test obtained a percentage value of 96% in the "Very Practical" category.

Abstract

Sistem pendingin pada kendaraan berfungsi untuk melindungi mesin kendaraan dengan cara menyerap panas yang dihasilkan dari pembakaran bahan bakar dalam silinder, jika panas dari pembakaran dibiarkan, maka dapat menimbulkan panas yang berlebihan (overheating). Sepeda motor 4 langkah memiliki oil cooler  dengan tipe standar bawaan pabrik yakni oil cooler  3 baris. Performa dari oil cooler  tersebut cukup baik dalam menjaga temperatur oli mesin tetap optimal. Akan tetapi, ketika berada dijalanan ramai,kemacetan dan berhenti saat lampu merah oil cooler  3 baris tidaklah cukup dikarenakan kurangnya suplai udara yang mengakibatkan suhu mesin meningkat, maka penyelesaiannya mencoba mengganti oil cooler  3 baris dengan oil cooler  5 baris dengan tujuan bisa menurunkan suhu mesin dari sebelumnya. Untuk melihat hasil dari proses tersebut, pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan 2 tipe oil cooler  yaitu oil cooler  3 baris dan oil cooler  5 baris dengan waktu pengujian 60 detik serta variasi putaran mesih sebesar 2000 RPM,5000 RPM, dan 8000 RPM. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dari data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan pada oil cooler  5 baris terjadi penurunan suhu oli mesin sebesar 8 %, 4%, dan 13%  dan kenaikan konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 40 %, 16%, dan 6% dari oil cooler  3 baris. The vehicle's cooling system protects the engine by absorbing the heat generated by the combustion of fuel in the cylinder; if this heat is not removed, it can lead to excessive heat (overheating). The 4-stroke motorcycle is equipped with a 3-line oil cooler as the factory default oil cooler. The oil cooler is quite effective at maintaining the ideal engine oil temperature. Due to a lack of air supply, a 3-row oil cooler is insufficient on busy roads, in traffic jams, and when stopped at red lights, resulting in an increase in engine temperature. Therefore, the solution is to attempt to replace the 3-row oil cooler with a 5-row oil cooler, with the goal of reducing engine temperature from before. Two varieties of oil coolers, namely 3-row oil coolers and 5-row oil coolers, were tested with a test time of 60 seconds and variations in mesih rotation of 2000 RPM, 5000 RPM, and 8000 RPM to determine the results of the process. After calculating the obtained data, it is possible to conclude that the 5-line oil cooler reduced engine oil temperature by 8%, 4%, and 13%, while increasing gasoline consumption by 40%, 16%, and 6% compared to the 3-line oil cooler.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi bagi guru dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran bagi siswa tentang sistem injeksi bahan bakar diesel common rail sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai teknologi mesin diesel dengan sistem common rail karena kendaraan terbaru yang menggunakan mesin diesel sudah menerapkan sistem injeksi bahan bakar common rail. Pelaksanaan PKM dilakukan dengan metode yaitu: 1) ceramah dan tanya-jawab, 2) diskusi, 3) demonstrasi, 4) praktik, 5) bimbingan dan evaluasi. Jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 orang dan jumlah pengabdi sebanyak 10 orang dari Departemen Teknik Otomotif Universitas Negeri Padang. Berdasarkan analisis data, dijelaskan bahwa keterampilan guru dan siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan mengenai sistem bahan bakar common rail dan penggunaan alat kalibrasi injektor test bench common rail meningkat secara signifikan, dibuktikan dengan nilai ketuntasan seluruh peserta pengabdian mencapai 100%. Disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan PKM pelatihan keterampilan penggunaan test bench common rail berhasil.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) to find out and analyze the contribution of the special job market to work readiness, 2) to find out and analyze the contribution of the ability to cooperate to work readiness, 3) to know and analyze together the contribution of the special job market and the ability to work together on work readiness. The type of research used is quantitative and uses a descriptive approach. The method used in finding research results is by distributing questionnaires. This research works using three hypotheses: 1) partially there is a positive and significant contribution of the specific job market to work readiness, 2) partially there is a positive and significant contribution of the ability to cooperate to work readiness, 3) jointly there is a positive and significant contribution special job market and the ability to cooperate on job readiness. The research results obtained are: 1) special job fairs have a positive and significant contribution to student work readiness by 31%. This indicates that the better the special job market, the better the student's work readiness and vice versa, 2) the ability to cooperate with students has a positive and significant contribution to student work readiness by 49.3%. Based on these results, it shows that the better the student's collaboration skills, the better the student's work readiness and vice versa. 3) the special job market and the ability to cooperate with students contribute positively and significantly to student work readiness by 49.6%.

Abstract

Manajemen pendidikan merupakan suatu struktur organisasi yang teratur dan berada dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidik dan manajemen pendidikan merupakan kegiatan yang harus dilaksanakan oleh pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, dan lembaga pendidikan sampai akhir. Manajemen kependidikan adalah kegiatan yang menyangkut penetapan norma, standar, prosedur, pengangkatan, pembinaan, pengurusan, tunjangan, dan pemberhentian tenaga kependidikan sekolah dalam rangka menunaikan tugas dan fungsinya dalam mencapai tujuan sekolah.Metode penelitian ini mensitasi artikel untuk mengambil kesimpulan dalam penelitian. manajemen pendidikan memiliki fungsi dan tugas yaitu perencanaan, perekrutan, penempatan kerja,kompensasi, pembinaan dan pengembangan, dan mengevaluasi.Prinsip prinsip manajemen adalah pernyataan atau kebenaran mendasar yang menjadi pedoman untuk menyelesaikan tugas membimbing upaya untuk mencapai keseimbangan terbaik dalam proses pencapaian tujuan sebaik-baiknya.prinsip prinsip manajemen yang dibagi menjadi 14 bagian, yaitu division of work,authority and responsibility,discipline, unity of command, unity of direction, sub ordination of individual interest to general interest, remuneration of personnel, centralization, scalar chain, order, equity, stability of tonure of personnel, initiative. ecsprit de corps. Abstract

This research is based on the results of a preliminary study which found the problem that learning was not optimal. The aim of the research is to develop the WBL-TEFA Learning Model Learning Module as an effort to improve valid, practical, and effective automotive vocational student academic achievement skills and task skills. The research method is Research and Development using the Borg & Gall development procedure. After implementing the WBL-TEFA Learning Module, students can build knowledge inductively and deductively, as well as learning experiences in one-way interaction, personal interaction and multi-way learning interaction. The results of this research generally produce a learning module design consisting of covers, prefaces, table of contents, module position maps in learning, glossary, pre-learning, learning, evaluation, and closing. Learning Module The WBL-TEFA Learning Model is statistically valid and practical. Whereas the average Aiken's V value obtained is 0.941, so that the contents of the Learning Module can be declared in the valid category. The WBL-TEFA Learning Module was stated to be very practical, this was shown from the results of the practicality assessment of the average lecturer response of 91.29% and student response of 89.60% in the "Very practical" category.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to compare career management strategies and levels of self-development among automotive engineering students at FT UNP who enrolled in 2019, particularly at the fourth stage of their studies. The research sample comprises 60 students, with 20 students from each admission path: SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent Selection. The analysis employs ANOVA to address two research hypotheses regarding the differences in career management strategies and levels of self-development among the three admission paths. The results of the study significantly support the first hypothesis, indicating a meaningful difference in career management strategies among students admitted through SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent Selection. Similarly, the second hypothesis is also confirmed, demonstrating a significant difference in the level of self-development among students from the three admission paths. This research provides valuable insights into how automotive engineering students navigate their careers and self-development through various admission paths. The practical implications of the study can offer guidance to academic institutions and stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of career management and student self-development, taking into account the diverse characteristics and needs of students from different admission paths.

Abstract

This research aims to develop, measure the validity, assess the practicality, and evaluate the effectiveness of an e-module based on discovery learning to enhance the learning outcomes of 11th-grade students in Electrical Vehicle Maintenance subject. This study falls under the category of Research and Development, involving the development of an e-module for the topic of light vehicle electrical maintenance that is valid, practical, and effective using the discovery learning approach. The development of this e-module based on discovery learning follows the 4-D model, which includes defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The validation results of the developed e-module based on discovery learning fall under the category of valid. The practicality assessment of the discovery learning-based module is classified as very good, and the effectiveness of the e-module based on discovery learning as a learning media indicates that this learning media is considered effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran partisipatif berbasis e-learning terhadap hasil belajar Teknologi Alat Berat di Departemen Teknik Otomotif Universitas Negeri Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian berupa 60 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket untuk Pelaksanaan pembelajaran partisipatif berbasis e-learning (X), serta nilai akhir untuk hasil belajar (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukan korelasi ini terbukti positif dan signifikan, dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000, lebih rendah dari tingkat signifikansi 0.05. Koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.714 menandakan korelasi yang kuat dan variabel pembelajaran partisipatif berbasis e-learning memberikan kontribusi sebesar 51% terhadap hasil belajar. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran partisipatif berbasis e-learning memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar Teknologi Alat Berat. This study aims to determine the contribution of student perceptions to the implementation of e-learning-based participatory learning on the learning outcomes of heavy equipment technology at the Department of Automotive Engineering, Padang State University. The research method used was quantitative-descriptive, with research subjects in the form of 60 students. The instruments used are questionnaires for the implementation of participatory learning based on e-learning (X) as well as final grades for learning outcomes (Y). The results showed this correlation proved to be positive and significant, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, lower than the significance level of 0.05. A correlation coefficient of 0.714 indicates a strong correlation and e-learning-based participatory learning variables contribute 51% to learning outcomes. It can be concluded that e-learning-based participatory learning has a significant contribution to the achievement of learning heavy equipment technology.
