Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of utilizing Canva as an interactive learning medium in enhancing student learning interest among 12th-grade students at SMK Pelita Harapan Bima. The digital era demands transformation in education from conventional learning approaches toward interactive digital technology utilization. Canva, as an online design platform, offers an innovative solution for creating engaging and user-friendly learning media. This research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Data were collected through interviews and observations involving 12th-grade students and teachers as informants. Source triangulation techniques were used to ensure data credibility. The results show that Canva utilization provides significant positive impacts on student learning interest and motivation. The platform creates a more dynamic and engaging learning atmosphere, facilitates material comprehension through attractive visualizations, and develops students' digital skills. From teachers' perspectives, Canva simplifies learning material creation with drag-and-drop features and ready-to-use templates. Despite some technical constraints such as unstable internet connections and adaptation time required by some students, the benefits obtained are far greater. This study concludes that Canva is effective as an innovative alternative for interactive learning media in the digital era to enhance student learning interest. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pemanfaatan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas 12 SMK Pelita Harapan Bima. Era digital menuntut transformasi dalam dunia pendidikan dari pembelajaran konvensional menuju pemanfaatan teknologi digital yang interaktif. Canva sebagai platform desain berbasis online menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan mudah digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap siswa kelas 12 dan guru sebagai informan. Teknik triangulasi sumber digunakan untuk memastikan kredibilitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Canva memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Platform ini menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih dinamis dan menarik, memudahkan pemahaman materi melalui visualisasi yang menarik, serta mengembangkan keterampilan digital siswa. Dari perspektif guru, Canva memudahkan pembuatan materi pembelajaran dengan fitur drag-and-drop dan template siap pakai. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala teknis seperti koneksi internet yang tidak stabil dan waktu adaptasi yang diperlukan beberapa siswa, manfaat yang diperoleh jauh lebih besar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Canva efektif sebagai alternatif inovatif media pembelajaran interaktif di era digital untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the implementation of digital-based learning media using Quizizz in enhancing student learning motivation at SMPN 3 Bolo. The research method employed is a descriptive quantitative approach with 20 seventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling as the research subjects. Data were collected through direct observation and analysis of digital activity logs from the Quizizz platform, which contained educational puzzle questions during two learning sessions. The research results show significant improvements across various learning motivation indicators. Students' average scores increased from 60.5 to 75.2 (a 24.3% increase), active participation levels rose from 60.5% to 75.5%, and success rates experienced an increase from 70.5% to 80.5%. Learning efficiency was also evident from a 24.7% reduction in average completion time. Behavioral observations of students showed improvements in enthusiasm (10%), active participation in discussions (20%), focus and concentration (18.7%), and positive competitive interaction (24.6%). The distribution of motivation categories showed that 80% of students were in the high and very high motivation categories, with no students in the low motivation category. This research concludes that the implementation of Quizizz as a digital-based learning medium is effective in enhancing student learning motivation through gamification features that create a competitive and enjoyable learning environment. Despite limitations in sample size and research duration, the consistent improvement across various indicators demonstrates that Quizizz can serve as an effective alternative solution to address low learning motivation in conventional learning approaches. Keywords: Digital Learning Media, Quizizz, Learning Motivation Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis digital menggunakan Quizizz dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SMPN 3 Bolo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 20 siswa kelas VII yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan analisis log aktivitas digital dari platform Quizizz yang berisi soal-soal teka-teki edukatif selama dua sesi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada berbagai indikator motivasi belajar. Skor rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 60,5 menjadi 75,2 (naik 24,3%), tingkat partisipasi aktif meningkat dari 60,5% menjadi 75,5%, dan tingkat keberhasilan mengalami kenaikan dari 70,5% menjadi 80,5%. Efisiensi pembelajaran juga terlihat dari penurunan waktu pengerjaan rata-rata sebesar 24,7%. Observasi perilaku siswa menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme (10%), partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi (20%), fokus dan konsentrasi (18,7%), serta interaksi kompetitif yang positif (24,6%). Distribusi kategori motivasi menunjukkan 80% siswa berada pada kategori motivasi tinggi dan sangat tinggi, tanpa ada siswa yang berada pada kategori motivasi rendah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi Quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis digital efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui fitur gamifikasi yang menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kompetitif dan menyenangkan. Meskipun terdapat keterbatasan dalam hal jumlah sampel dan durasi penelitian, konsistensi peningkatan pada berbagai indikator menunjukkan bahwa Quizizz dapat menjadi alternatif solusi efektif untuk mengatasi rendahnya motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran konvensional. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of profitability, capital structure, and company growth on firm value, with dividend policy as a moderating variable in insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period. Profitability is measured by Return on Assets (ROA), capital structure by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), company growth by Growth Assets Ratio (GR), dividend policy by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), and firm value by Price to Book Value (PBV). The research sample consists of 21 insurance companies selected using the purposive sampling method. The analysis method employed is panel data regression, with the Random Effect Model (REM) identified as the most suitable model. The results indicate that profitability, capital structure, and company growth partially have no significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, dividend policy is not proven to moderate the influence of profitability, capital structure, or company growth on firm value. The low Adjusted R-squared value indicates that the independent variables in this study are insufficient to explain variations in firm value within the insurance sector during the observation period.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk gangguan kecemasan berupa Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) yang dialami tokoh Segara Alam dalam novel Namaku Alam karya Leila S. Chudori berdasarkan kajian psikologi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Data penelitian berupa kutipan narasi dan dialog yang menunjukkan gejala gangguan kecemasan pada tokoh utama. Sumber data diperoleh dari novel Namaku Alam sebagai data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan dengan cara membaca secara intensif, mencatat, dan mengklasifikasikan data sesuai fokus penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis data mengacu pada teori Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder yang dikemukakan oleh Gerald C. Davison dkk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Segara Alam mengalami gangguan kecemasan berupa PTSD yang ditandai oleh tiga gejala utama, yaitu gejala penghindaran, gejala gairah, dan gejala mengalami kembali. Pada gejala penghindaran ditemukan tiga bentuk gangguan, gejala gairah ditunjukkan dalam dua bentuk, sedangkan gejala mengalami kembali juga ditemukan dalam dua bentuk. Gejala-gejala tersebut menggambarkan dampak trauma masa lalu terhadap kondisi psikologis tokoh utama. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gangguan kecemasan PTSD memengaruhi sikap, emosi, dan perilaku tokoh Segara Alam secara signifikan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya kajian psikologi sastra serta dimanfaatkan sebagai referensi pembelajaran analisis novel dalam pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of financial technology, financial literacy, investment knowledge, and investment motivation on investment decisions among undergraduate accounting students at public universities in Surabaya. Amid the rapid growth of financial technology and its widespread use among young adults, understanding the key determinants of students’ investment behaviour has become increasingly relevant in contemporary financial markets. Adopting a quantitative approach, data were collected through a structured survey and analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to assess both the measurement and structural models. The findings reveal that financial literacy, investment knowledge, and investment motivation have a significant and positive effect on investment decisions, whereas financial technology does not show a significant influence. These results suggest that, despite the increasing availability of technological tools, effective investment decision-making is more strongly shaped by individual competencies and motivational factors. Accordingly, the study highlights the importance of strengthening financial education and enhancing students’ financial and digital competencies to promote more informed, rational, and confident investment behaviour among future accounting professionals.

Abstract

The Mohuntingo procession is a sacred birth ritual in the Gorontalo community, performed as an expression of gratitude through the ceremonial cutting of an infant’s hair. Beyond its ceremonial nature, this tradition embodies deep philosophical values reflected in each ritual stage and the symbolic use of traditional objects. Every element in the Mohuntingo procession represents the cultural worldview of the Gorontalo people, which is strongly rooted in customary practices and Islamic principles. This study provides a detailed description of the Mohuntingo stages in Kabila District and examines the symbolic meanings of the traditional objects used, including young coconut, betel nut, dulang, fragrant oil, a razor, flowers, and lu’adu. A descriptive qualitative design was employed, with data gathered through observation, interviews with traditional and religious leaders, cultural practitioners, and local residents, as well as field documentation. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and interpretation while maintaining the sociocultural context of Gorontalo society. The findings reveal that each traditional object holds symbolic meanings related to purity, protection, cultural identity, life harmony, and the reinforcement of religious values. The ritual also strengthens social cohesion, deepens kinship ties, and functions as a medium for transmitting customary and Islamic values to younger generations. Overall, the study concludes that Mohuntingo is not merely a birth ritual but a cultural transmission system rich in spiritual, social, and educational significance, demonstrating the enduring relevance of Gorontalo’s cultural identity amid modernizing influences.

Abstract

This study explores the representation of patriarchy in the film Women from Rote Island using a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes’s semiotic analysis. This approach was chosen because it enables the researcher to uncover symbolic meanings, cultural values, and gender ideologies embedded in the audiovisual text. Primary data consist of the film itself, analyzed through elements such as dialogue, gestures, facial expressions, costumes, setting, props, cinematography, and narrative plot. Secondary data include books, journal articles, film reviews, and literature on semiotics, gender, and media. Data were collected through documentary observation (repeated screenings, transcription of key dialogues, and relevant screenshots) and literature review. Analysis followed Barthes’s three stages: denotation, connotation, and myth. The findings reveal that patriarchy operates through harassment, objectification, stigma, and social neglect, which normalize violence and shift blame onto women (victim blaming). The film articulates moral imperatives such as: ending victim blaming, reinterpreting customary law as protection of dignity, fostering empathetic masculinities, ensuring safe public spaces, dismantling stigma as a silencing tool, and demanding state and law enforcement support for survivors. Thus, Women from Rote Island not only exposes the wounds of patriarchy but also conveys an ethical call for protection and the construction of a just and gender-equal culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of bullying on the psychological development of children at the primary education level, with the perspective of Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11. Bullying can harm children's psychological development in emotional, social, and character-building aspects. The verse teaches the importance of mutual respect and avoiding behavior that degrades others, which is relevant in addressing bullying in the school environment. The research method used is qualitative, with a literature review approach and text analysis. Data was gathered through a review of literature related to bullying and the interpretation of Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11. This study also involves observations regarding bullying behavior in primary school settings. The results indicate that bullying can lead to psychological disturbances in children, such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and difficulties in building social relationships. The perspective of Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11 offers social ethical values that emphasize the importance of maintaining harmony among individuals and avoiding behaviors that can harm social relationships. The conclusion of this study is that character education based on Quranic values, particularly those contained in Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse 11, can serve as a strong foundation for preventing and addressing bullying in primary schools. Efforts to prevent bullying through the development of character that emphasizes respect and mutual appreciation should be implemented in primary education to protect the psychological development of children.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar) at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas in the 2023–2024 academic year. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that lesson planning was carried out by teachers through the preparation of teaching modules based on learning outcomes, formulation of learning objectives, sequencing of objectives, and assessment planning. The learning process was implemented in three stages: introduction, core activities, and closing, with formative assessments conducted periodically. Evaluation was carried out through formative assessments during the learning process and summative assessments at the end of learning, in accordance with the prepared teaching modules. Despite challenges such as limited facilities and infrastructure, teachers strived to optimize learning in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum to support the school’s vision and mission.

Abstract

Banking plays a crucial role in supporting national economic growth through its intermediary function, liquidity provision, and credit distribution to the real sector. During the monetary policy normalization period of 2022–2024, the banking industry faces the challenge of maintaining optimal credit distribution without neglecting risk control and capital strengthening. This situation emphasizes the importance of evaluating bank health, both empirically and based on relevant theoretical frameworks. This study aims to analyze the health level of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk based on Risk Profile, Earnings, and Capital aspects , and examine the results from the perspectives of Risk Management Theory, Efficiency Theory, and Trade-Off Theory . The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of financial reports for the 2022–2024 period. The indicators analyzed include Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Return on Assets (ROA), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The research results show that BCA is in the Very Healthy (PK-1) category, with an achievement level of 96.00%–100.00%. Credit growth was not accompanied by an increase in credit risk, profitability increased consistently, and capital remained well above the minimum threshold. These findings demonstrate that the balance between credit growth, risk management, and capital adequacy is key to maintaining banking stability during the economic recovery period.
