Abstract

Sampah adalah bahan sisa hasil dari kegiatan manusia yang sudah tidak terpakai lagi, sehingga harus dilakukan pengelolaan. Pencemaran perairan merupakan masalah lingkungan yang serius, yang berdampak pada kualitas air, kesehatan ekosistem, dan keanekaragaman hayati.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang dan mengelola sampah di kawasan tersebut serta mengidentifikasi dampak pencemaran dan upaya penanganannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi langsung dan wawancara terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat masih membuang sampah secara sembarangan ke perairan akibat minimnya kesadaran lingkungan dan fasilitas pengelolaan sampah. Dampak yang dirasakan meliputi pencemaran visual dan bau tidak sedap, terutama saat musim hujan dan kemarau. Upaya penanganan yang dilakukan masih bersifat insidental seperti kerja bakti warga, tanpa dukungan sistematis dari pemerintah setempat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya peningkatan peran serta masyarakat dan keterlibatan aktif pemerintah dalam menyediakan fasilitas dan edukasi untuk pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kualitas air sungai memainkan peran yang penting dalam mendukung berbagai ekosistem air dan aktivitas manusia. Namun, Sungai Gentung saat ini mengalami perubahan kondisi yang dapat dilihat secara fisik. Hal ini kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh semakin meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan aktivitas ekonomi yang intensif di sepanjang bantaran sungai yang dapat meningkatkan risiko pencemaran air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks pencemaran dan prediksi distribusi kualitas air sungai Gentung, Kabupaten Pangkep. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan parameter fisik seperti suhu, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), dan Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) serta parameter kimia yaitu pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), dan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). Selain itu, Analisis Spatial Inverse Distance Weighted juga dilakukan untuk menggambarkan profil distribusi kualitas air sehingga diperoleh data sebaran kualitas air sungai pada empat titik pengambilan sampel yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kualitas air Sungai Gentung, Kabupaten Pangkep dalam keadaan tercemar ringan hingga sedang. Indeks pencemaran titik satu yaitu 5,66 (cemar sedang), titik kedua 5,78 (cemar sedang), titik ketiga 6,04 (cemar sedang), dan titik keempat 2,39 (cemar ringan). Selain itu, hasil Analisis Spatial Inverse Distance Weighted dengan merujuk dari hasil pengujian laboratorium dan perbandingan syarat baku mutu menunjukkan distribusi kualitas air sungai pada tujuh parameter pengujian yang terindikasi tidak memenuhi syarat baku mutu adalah Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), dan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). Penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan rujukan dan rekomendasi bagi pihak pemangku kepentingan untuk mengambil langkah penanganan permasalahan lingkungan yaitu kualitas air Sungai Gentung, Kabupaten Pangkep.

Abstract

The FTTH network is currently a reliable network concept used in an era where very fast access to information is needed as it is today, but several problems arise in the FTTH network, for example, reduced data transmission speed due to losses in the transmission cable connection or drop core. In this study, activation of the FTTH network will be carried out so that it can function for internet data transmission and observations will also be made of the connection losses on the 10-meter dropcore cable with the number of connections respectively, namely no connection, 1 connection, and 2 connections, where each connection obtains connection losses from 0.00 to 0.02 dB which will affect the total attenuation obtained in the activated FTTH network. Standard attenuation for fiber optic network activation starting from OLT to ONT according to IEEE Std 802.3ah states that the permissible attenuation / loss tolerance is between 20-24 to 29 dB. Splicing losses are caused by errors in the process of joining the fiber optic cable cores. The number of connections in a fiber optic cable can affect the attenuation value in the fiber optic cable. The more connections, the higher the attenuation in the fiber optic cable.

Abstract

Technology in the telecommunications sector continues to develop. One of them is the Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna used in WIFI access oint application using MIMO technique in enhancement the need to transfer large amounts of data. In the design and manufacture of MIMO antennas for WIFI access applications point with dimensions of 110 mm x 112 mm using FR-4 substrate specifications with a thickness of 1.6 mm. The antenna consists of four ports and is at each corner The groundplane has four slots to achieve good isolation and produces good bandwidth. The antenna simulation produces a bandwidth of 1.0516 GHz with frequency 2.4 GHz, return loss -12.78 dB, isolation -16.08 dB, and VSWR 1.53 dB. Meanwhile, manufactured antennas produce a bandwidth of more than 100 MHz with frequency 2.4 GHz, return loss -13.5 dB, isolation -18.8 dB, and VSWR 1.29 dB. Antenna simulation using the CST Studio Suite 2019 software application. In the application of the antenna used for Wi-Fi as a transmitter By comparing distances, different results are obtained where the power value is Each distance is different because the farther the distance, the greater the power value produced or emitted will be smaller or less optimal  network.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian di SMAN 1 Lembang Jaya Kabupaten Solok bekerja sama dengan Politeknik Negeri Padang dilakukan sebagai kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan dan pembinaan kepada guru dan siswa agar unit program robotik dapat terbentuk. Kegiatan ini akan berdampak pada pengembangan siswa untuk melakukan kegiatan ekstra kurikuler bidang Robotik serta nantinya dapat memfasilitasi siswa-siswi SMAN 1 Lembang Jaya Kabupaten Solok. Dan kedepannya bagi siswa SMAN 1 Lembang Jaya Kabupaten Solok dapat ikut ambil bagian dalam agenda tahunan lomba science bidang TIK khususnya bidang robotik. unit program robotik sebagai salah satu ekstrakulikuler siswa sehingga akan muncul kreatifitas-kreatifitas baru baik dari guru maupun siswa. Pihak SMAN 1 Lembang Jaya berterima kasih sekaligus memberikan apresiasi kepada PNP karena telah membantu menambah keterampilan siswa. Selain itu SMAN 1 Lembang Jaya berharap kerjasama yang berkesinambunagn dengan PNP tetap terjalin dalam inovasi teknologi khususnya di bidang pendidikan.

Abstract

Panciro Village faces significant problems related to the accumulation of plastic waste that is carelessly dumped in rivers, roadsides, and empty land. This study explores the application of the ecobrick method as an alternative solution to plastic waste. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the Panciro Village community regarding waste management with the ecobrick method, evaluate the effectiveness of ecobricks in reducing plastic waste and analyze the challenges and opportunities for implementing ecobricks as an environmentally friendly solution in Panciro Village. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results, the population density of Panciro Village contributed to the increase in waste volume. The positive perception of the community towards ecobricks as a better solution than burning or littering, the effectiveness of ecobricks is considered moderate to significant depending on the level of community participation. The main challenges in implementing ecobricks include the process of shredding waste and the lack of public awareness. Ecobricks have economic value if managed properly. This study recommends technological innovations and more efficient methods to facilitate the process of making ecobricks.

Abstract

This article explores the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) and hospital image on hospital patient loyalty, emphasizing the mediating role of patient commitment. Amidst the development of the healthcare industry sector in Indonesia, this study highlighted that e-WoM and hospital image significantly enhanced patient loyalty, with patient commitment playing an important mediating role. This article suggested practical strategies for hospitals, such as improving the quality of healthcare services, leveraging positive e-WoM, and implementing loyalty programs to elevate patient commitment and loyalty. These findings underscore the importance of hospital image and e-WoM in patient retention, providing valuable insights for strategic planning in the context of the healthcare industry.

Abstract

This research aims to design a rectangular patch microstrip antenna design with rectangular slots on the 2.4 GHz ground plane for Wi-Fi applications using CST Studio Suite 2019 software and antenna measurements using Vector Network Analyser. Some of the antenna parameters produced are return loss, bandwidth, VSWR, radiation pattern, and gain.  This antenna has a rectangular patch shape and has a ground plane that has a rectangular slot. The antenna is designed on a circuit board (PCB) with a permittivity of 4.6 and a thickness of 1.6 mm. The antenna is designed based on the characteristics of several antenna parameters, namely having a return loss-10 dB gain value ≥1 dB, and VSWR < 2 dB. After several simulations, the results at a frequency of 2.4 GHz obtained a return loss value of -14.84 dB, a bandwidth of 53 MHz, a VSWR value of 1.442, a gain of 2.063 dbi, and has a Unidirectional radiation pattern. The measurement of the fabricated microstrip antenna using a Vector Network Analyser shows a return loss value of -11.68 dB, and a VSWR of 1.747 dB.

Abstract

This study aims to design and test a Rectangular miscrostrip Rectifier antenna for  television signal reception in the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) pathway. The research method includes designing antenna designs and designing Voltage Multiplier rectifier circuits. The antenna  parameters  measured include working frequency,  Return Loss, Bandwidth, VSWR, Antenna Impedance, Polarization, and Gain. The results showed that  the Return Loss  value in the frequency range of  540-884 MHz had a value of ≤-10dB, with the lowest value of -26,868 dB at a frequency of 598 MHz in the simulation results. After fabrication,           the Return Loss  value in the frequency range of 632-785 MHz has a value of ≤-10dB, with the lowest value of -42,375 dB at a frequency of 668 MHz.   or transmissions  connected to it. The antenna impedance  was 50.60Ω in the  simulation results  and 51.107 Ω in the measurement results.

Abstract

The source of Radio Frequency  (RF) electromagnetic wave energy in the atmosphere is currently abundant and wasted due to the rapid development of RF technology today. Utilizing the rectenna system to harvest energy, this RF energy source can be used as an environmentally friendly distribution method. To improve the rectenna's ability to convert electromagnetic waves into direct voltage (DC) sources, a rectenna antenna  system was designed using a serial rectenna system. using 3 antennas and 3 rectifier circuits, to design a  serial rectenna system. A circular patch microstrip antenna with a frequency of 2.4 GHz is used in serial receiving systems to receive WiFi signals.  Schottky 2860 diodes and 1nF smd capacitors are used in the 6-stage voltage multiplier of the rectifier circuit,  which is used in the rectifier.  Round patch microstrip antennas were found to be capable of capturing and directing voltage to DC through testing and measurement of rectenna serial systems. The system antenna has return loss values of -26.29 dB, -21.75 dB, and -28.57  dB,  VSWR 1.11,  1.16, and 1.07,  impedance 51.1,  55.56, and    50.22, and bandwidth of 60 MHz .  The resonant frequencies for 60 MHz and 50 MHz are 2.42 GHz, 2.36 GHz, and 2.48 GHz. so that at a distance of 25 cm a single rectenna system produces a voltage of 51 points 3 mV. During this time, the serial receiver system can change a direct voltage of  151.08 mV at a distance of 25 cm from the Access Point transmitter source.
