Abstract

This training activity was conducted to enhance the capacity of the staff at the Education and Training Unit (Diklat) of RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid, Kota Bekasi, in operating and implementing the Education and Training Information System (SIDIKLAT). The training was designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the features and functions of SIDIKLAT that support the management of education and training at the hospital. The methods used included presentations, live demonstrations, and system simulations by the participants. During the training, participants were actively engaged in each session to ensure optimal technical and operational mastery. Evaluations showed that the training successfully improved the participants' competence in using SIDIKLAT and increased awareness of the importance of technology integration in education and training management. It is expected that after this training, the Diklat staff will effectively implement SIDIKLAT in their daily activities, thereby supporting the improvement of the quality and efficiency of education and training services at RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the archiving and document management process at the Kaliangkrik Religious Affairs Office (KUA) and identify the challenges in archiving practices. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews with the head of the KUA and staff who handle archives. Research data was also collected by directly observing the archiving process at KUA Kaliangkrik. Apart from that, research data was also collected through documentation studies. The research results show that the KUA Kaliangkrik archiving process is carried out carefully, ensuring conformity between data and recording. However, the main challenges faced are limited human resources, inconsistent external data updates, changes in filing systems, and technological infrastructure constraints. Although information technology and electronic systems benefit document access, saving physical space, and document protection, technological infrastructure that has yet to be optimized is an obstacle. In maintaining the security and confidentiality of documents, KUA Kaliangkrik has implemented measures such as using passwords to access electronic documents and storing physical documents in safe cabinets or safes. However, collaboration between archive officers, IT, and KUA management needs to be improved to maintain the security of stored documents. Training archivists, coordinating with external parties, updating electronic filing systems, and increasing document security are steps that can be taken to improve the effectiveness of archiving. By overcoming these challenges, archiving and document management at KUA Kaliangkrik can be more efficient, provide good service, and maintain the security of stored documents.

Abstract

This research will conduct a qualitative descriptive analysis based on the SERVQUAL framework at the Pilot Religious Affairs Office in Kaliangkrik District. Kaliangkrik District was chosen as the research location because it reflects the dynamics of urban development, which represents challenges in providing optimal services. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Research data was collected using observation and interviews. The research sources were the head of the KUA, employees, and the community. The results of this research show positive aspects of KUA services, such as the responsiveness of officers to community needs, clarity of service procedures, and efforts to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the office. However, several areas were also identified that required further attention, such as improvements in the provision of information and maintenance of the physical condition of facilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the types of punishment, the application of punishment, and the discipline of students after being given punishment. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to this institution in the formation of Santri discipline. This research was aimed at student students, Tahfiz Putra Darul Quran Islamic Boarding School, Mojokerto City. This research is qualitative research, taking the background of the Tahfiz Putra Darul Quran Islamic Boarding School, Mojokerto City. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods and inductive thinking patterns. The aim is to analyze data obtained from field objects, then connect it with relevant theories. The results of the research show: 1) the various punishments applied at the Tahfiz Putra Darul Quran Islamic Boarding School, Mojokerto City, namely repressive punishment because the punishment is imposed after the child commits a violation, are normative because the punishment applied has the aim of improving the morals of the Santri, is logical where the punishment given is a logical consequence of bad actions, and is mental punishment because the punishment given is not directly related to the physical, and is educational because it is in accordance with the theory of improvement given so as not to repeat the violation and correct what has been done. 2) application of punishment at Madrasah Diniyah. The application of this type of punishment shows the formation of the Santri's attitude in carrying out the rules and regulations that have been implemented. 3) Discipline of Santri becomes better with the implementation of punishment as a sanction for violations committed by Santri.

Abstract

The phenomenon of cyberloafing, where individuals engage in non-work-related online activities during productive hours, has become increasingly prevalent, particularly among students. This study investigates the impact of cyberloafing on students' learning processes, aiming to fill a research gap in understanding its effects on academic performance and classroom dynamics. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed to gather data through a questionnaire completed by 69 students selected via simple random sampling. To complement the quantitative data, qualitative insights were obtained from interviews with five randomly selected students. The survey explored the frequency and nature of cyberloafing activities, variables promoting such behavior, and its impacts. Analysis of the questionnaire data revealed that students engage in cyberloafing more frequently during classroom activities than during informational or leisure activities. Many students perceive cyberloafing as a means to alleviate classroom boredom. Interview findings indicated mixed outcomes: while some students reported reduced tension and boredom, others did not perceive any benefits and even noted a decline in productivity and focus. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by highlighting the dual nature of cyberloafing's impact. While it can serve as a coping mechanism to mitigate boredom and stress, it also has the potential to detract from academic performance. Understanding these dynamics can help educators and policymakers develop strategies to manage cyberloafing, promoting a more balanced and productive learning environment.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Miopia adalah suatu kelainan refraksi, yaitu berkas sinar sejajar yang masuk ke dalam mata, pada keadaan tanpa akomodasi, dibiaskan di suatu titik fokus di depan retina. Terapi akupunktur pada kasus miopia melibatkan titik akupunktur telinga pada titik lokal ataupun titik distal. Stimulasi pada titik akupunktur telinga yang berkaitan dengan kondisi fisiologis dan patologis dapat meningkatkan kadar endorfin dan meregulasi system saraf simpatik. Formulasi yang digunakan untuk kasus miopia adalah titik Shenmen, oksiput, hati, limpa, lambung, jantung, ginjal, paru, mata, Mu 1 dan Mu 2. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis pengaruh terapi akupunktur telinga dengan terapi kombinasi akupunktur telinga dan titik lokal terhadap perubahan tajam penglihatan pada kasus miopia di Griya Sehat Prima Hati Surakarta. Metode Penelitian Penelitian kuantitatif dengan bentuk hipotesis komparatif dan menggunakan desain penelitian quasi-eksperiment untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara terapi akupunktur telinga (titik Gan, Mu 1, dan Mu 2) dengan terapi kombinasi akupunktur telinga (titik Gan, Mu 1, dan Mu 2) dan titik akupunktur GB14. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan total sampling yaitu 36 orang pasien yang mengalami miopia atau rabun jauh yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan melakukan terapi akupunktur di Griya Sehat Prima Hati Surakarta. Instrumen penelitian yaitu kuesioner, lembar observasi, informed consent serta alat ukur tajam penglihatan yang menggunakan Snellen chart. Hasil Penelitian Nilai signifikansi metode akupunktur dan kombinasi akupunktur telinga dan titik lokal perubahan mata kanan > 0.05 yaitu pretest 0.255; post test 0.465 dan mata kiri pretest 0.598; post test 0.972. Kesimpulan Tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna antara terapi akupunktur telinga dengan kombinasi terapi kombinasi akupunktur telinga dan titik lokal terhadap perubahan tajam penglihatan pada kasus myopia.

Abstract

MSDs (Musculoskeletal Diseases) are disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including joints, nerves, muscles, and the spine, often caused by unnatural work activities. These pains can be managed through various methods such as medication, relaxation therapy, physical therapy, and acupuncture, which is recognized by The National Institutes of Health as an effective complementary therapy. In Bibis Luhur RW XXII, many residents complain of pain, particularly in the lower back, shoulders, spine, and knees, caused by illness, physical activity, work, or age factors. Community service activities were conducted using counseling methods on the types of musculoskeletal pain, their causes, and how to manage them. Additionally, demonstrations of muscle and joint stretching, as well as acupuncture services and the application of pain relief oil, were provided. The results showed that of the 22 participants, the majority were aged 60-64 years and complained of pain in the arms and legs. The therapy conducted successfully reduced the average pain scale from 5.0 in the first session to 2.1 in the fourth session. In conclusion, this community service was effective in increasing residents' knowledge about musculoskeletal pain and reducing pain intensity among the residents of Bibis Luhur RW XXII, Surakarta.

Abstract

The low numeracy skills in Indonesia are one factor affecting the quality of mathematics education, so reflective thinking is needed to improve this ability. This study aims to describe prospective mathematics teachers' reflective thinking process in solving numeracy problems at the critical reflection stage based on prior knowledge. This study used a qualitative, descriptive research methodology. The research participants were 34 prospective mathematics teachers at the State University of Malang, East Java. The instruments used are numeracy tests and interview guidelines. Data analysis includes data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed notable differences in reflective thinking based on prior knowledge levels at the critical reflection stage. Subjects with high prior knowledge tried various solutions, were confident in their answers, and accurately drew conclusions and explained their reasons. Subjects with medium prior knowledge tried different methods but needed more confidence in their results. They could conclude but struggled to explain their reasons. Subjects with low prior knowledge used the same method, needed more confidence, and needed help explaining their reasons despite concluding. These findings imply creating a better training program for prospective mathematics teachers, emphasizing numeracy and reflective thinking growth.

Metode: Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Bogor Utara, Kota Bogor pada bulan Oktober 2022 hingga April 2023. Menggunakan desain penelitian quasy experimental dengan rancangan two group pre-test-post-test design. Jumlah subjek penelitian 36 orang dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling, yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (terapi akupunktur titik lokal dengan kombinasi herbal seduhan jahe merah) dan kelompok kontrol (terapi akupunktur titik lokal). Hasil: terapi akupunktur titik lokal dengan kombinasi herbal seduhan jahe merah berpengaruh terhadap perubahan nyeri bahu (p=0,000). Kesimpulan: Metode terapi akupunktur dengan kombinasi herbal seduhan jahe merah menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan terhadap perubahan nyeri bahu di Kecamatan Bogor Utara, Kota Bogor.

Abstract

Akupunktur menjadi terapi komplementer yang dapat dilakukan pada kasus hipertensi dan metode bloodletting pada apex telinga juga dapat diaplikasikan pada penderita hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas terapi akupunktur dan metode bloodletting pada apex telinga terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada kasus hipertensi Penelitian dilakukan di Banaran, Wonoboyo, Wonogiri pada bulan Oktober 2022 hingga April 2023. Menggunakan desain penelitian quasy experimental dengan rancangan two group pretest-posttest design. Jumlah subjek penelitian 32 orang dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling, yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (bloodletting apex telinga) dan kelompok kontrol (terapi akupunktur titik LV3-Taichong dan KI3-Taixi). Bloodletting Apex telinga dibanding akupunktur memiliki perbedaan signifikan dalam menurunkan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi (p=0,042). Hasil selisih mean terapi akupunktur sebesar 26,25 dan metode bloodletting apex telinga sebesar 15 sehingga metode bloodletting pada apex telinga tidak lebih efektif daripada terapi akupunktur dalam memberikan perubahan tekanan darah pada kasus hipertensi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Kedua metode terapi sama-sama dapat menurunkan tekanan darah. Metode bloodletting pada apex telinga tidak lebih efektif daripada terapi akupunktur dalam dalam memberikan perubahan tekanan darah pada kasus hipertensi di Banaran Wonoboyo Wonogiri.
