Abstract

The use of a learning management system (LMS) is one of the media that can be used to disseminate lecturer materials to students. Materials that can be uploaded on the LMS can be in the form of lecture materials in the form of files, videos, or questions. The effectiveness of LMS can be evaluated by looking at activities in using LMS. The effectiveness of using LMS can be seen from the log. Log results from LMS can be evaluated in various ways and one way is to use data mining clustering models. The clustering model can be used to create student groupings and the clustering results can be labeled in the form of categories, such as very good, good, and bad categories. This labeling depends on the clustering results that will be processed in the modeling. The research method uses CRISP DM which consists of business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. The beginning of the research process is carried out by taking log data in the Moodle LMS. The clustering model in this research will use the K-Means algorithm and the evaluation of clustering results will be evaluated for performance using the Davies-Bouldin method. Implementation of data mining processing using Rapid Miner application. The datasheet used is a datasheet taken from the LMS log of the Computer Programming course in the Mechanical Engineering study program - AKPRIND Institute of Science & Technology Yogyakarta odd semester of the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic years. The results of the study resulted in the best clustering based on the Davies Bouldin method of 2. The clustering results, cluster 0 consists of 28 data named the category of frequent access to LMS and cluster 1 consists of 54 with the category of not frequent access to LMS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi metode Al-Furqoniyyah dalam pengenalan tajwid di TPQ Nasyiatuttuqo Kecamatan Moga Kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode Al-Furqoniyyah di TPQ Nasyiatuttuqo dalam pengenalan tajwid dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu pembukaan, kegiatan inti, dan penutup. Tahap pembukaan berisi salam, doa pembuka, lalaran, dan absensi. Tahap kegiatan inti berisi penerapan sistem Bandungan dan Sorogan secara terpadu, yang di dalamnya termuat proses pengenalan tajwid. Tahap penutupan berisi doa penutup dan setoran hafalan tajwid atau garā’ib. Pengenalan tajwid dilakukan secara bertahap mulai dari hafalan pengertian hukum bacaan, pemahaman terhadap bentuk dan penerapan bacaan, praktik dan analisis hukum bacaan, serta evaluasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi lembaga TPQ dalam menerapkan metode Al-Furqoniyyah dalam pengenalan tajwid yang bertahap dan berkesinambungan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the TPACK-based learning approach on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research was conducted at SDN 17/I Rantau Puri in the 2023/2024 school year. The type of pre-experimental research (pre-experiment) with a pre-test post-test one group design research design, namely the research only used one experimental class, and no other class was used as a control class. Data collection techniques were obtained by giving tests to students before and after treatment. The test was carried out by providing instruments in the form of questions on the subject of science. Then, the data was processed to compare learning outcomes between before and after treatment. The results of the study obtained, based on the results of the t-test using SPSS 20 with the paired sample t-test, obtained a calculated t value greater than the t table, namely 9.109> 2.055. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion obtained through this study is that there is a significant influence of the TPACK-based learning approach on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pesta demokrasi merupakan hal penting dan harus ada, karena ia merupakan perwujudan demokrasi yang sebenarnya. Warga negara terlibat langsung dalam proses pembuatan keputusan, melaksanakan keputusan,mempengaruhi proses pengambilan keputusan, mempengaruhi kebijakan pemerintah, termasuk berkaitan dengan keterlibatan aktif maupun keterlibatan pasif setiap individu dalam hierarki sistem politik pemerintahan. Semua keterlibatan ini dikenal sebagai bentuk partisipasi politik. Penelitian ini ingin membangun kembali partisipasi politik sebagai teori dasar dalam pemikiran politik negara. Sehingga dengannya dapat ditarik benang merah antara peran partisipasi politik masyarakat dengan kesuksesan demokrasi itu sendiri.

Abstract

Hyperparameter selection to obtain optimal accuracy results is an important factor in improving model performance in data science. This study discusses a comparison of two hyperparameter optimization methods, namely Grid Search and Random Search, in the Decision Tree Classifier algorithm using the Breast Cancer Wisconsin (Diagnostic) Dataset from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. The dataset contains 569 samples with 30 numerical features describing the characteristics of breast cancer cells, such as mean radius, texture, perimeter, area, and smoothness, which are classified into two classes, namely malignant and benign. This study uses the CRISP-DM approach, which includes the stages of business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, and evaluation. In the modeling stage, three testing scenarios were conducted, namely the Decision Tree model without tuning, the model with Grid Search optimization, and the model with Random Search optimization. Performance evaluation was carried out using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results showed that hyperparameter optimization had a significant effect on model performance. The Decision Tree model without tuning produced an accuracy of 92.98%, while the model with Grid Search achieved the highest accuracy of 95.61%, and Random Search obtained an accuracy of 97.37%. Thus, it can be concluded that Grid Search provides the most optimal results in finding the best parameter combination, even though it requires longer computation time compared to Random Search.

Abstract

The small and medium-sized exhaust pipe industry in Purbalingga Regency is one of the region's leading sectors with high economic value, but it still faces obstacles in terms of metal coating and coloring quality. The conventional processes used are generally energy-intensive and produce chemical waste. This community service activity aims to improve the quality of metal plating and coloring on exhaust products through the application of green manufacturing technology based on energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. The methods used in this activity include the application of a green plating system with measured current control and technical training in the use of environmentally friendly plating materials. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in the quality of the coating, where the gloss level increased by 25%, heat resistance reached 600°C without color change, and corrosion resistance doubled. In addition to improving product quality, this activity also increased the awareness of SME actors of the importance of sustainable production processes in accordance with the principles of green manufacturing.

Abstract

The potential for solar energy in the Gunungkidul region, particularly in the Sidoharjo subdistrict, Gunungkidul, is abundant. The use of solar energy as an alternative energy source still needs to be continuously promoted. Public understanding of the use of solar energy to generate clean and sustainable electricity is still limited. The educational program is designed to provide knowledge about the use of solar energy as electricity. The objectives of the activities include increasing public literacy about Solar Power Plants (PLTS) that can be used as alternative energy. This activity focuses on delivering material on the basic principles of PLTS, its advantages as green energy that does not produce carbon emissions, and its economic benefits in saving long-term electricity costs. The methods used are participatory in nature, including socialization, workshops, and component demonstrations, which are tailored to the local context of Sidoharjo. The expected benefits and impacts of this program include the community's understanding of PLTS technology and the realization of public awareness of the importance of renewable energy. This program also aims to empower the community with practical knowledge so that they can take the initiative in utilizing solar energy.

Abstract

Kemudahan akses  informasi menjadi sesuatu yang saat penting pada era teknologi informasi. Masyarakat saat ini dalam mencari suatu informasi mengandalkan media internet. Dengan kemudahan dalam mengakses informasi melalui media internet, sudah seharusnya sekolah juga menggunakan media internet sebagai sarana penyebaran informasi ataupun sebagai media informasi. Upaya tersebut sudah dilakukan SMK Negeri 2 Magelang dengan laman https://smkn2mgl.sch.id/.  Upaya   untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan website serta kepedulian guru akan pentingnya pengelolaan informasi berbasis website, SMK Negeri 2 Magelang bekerja sama dengan Institut Sains Teknologi AKPRIND memberikan pendampingan pengelolaan website baik kepada admin website maupun para guru terutama guru yang  mendapatkan tugas tambahan sebagai pejabat struktural, seperti kepala Perpustakaan, pengelola laboratorium. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner sebelum pelaksanaan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk memetakan pemahaman peserta khususnya dalam pengelolaan website dan dilakukan pendampingan dan pelatihan pengembangan website yang dapat digunakan untuk publikasi serta fitur-fitur yang ada dalam website sekolah. Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at SDN 56/I Aro Village with the aim of improving teacher competency in using the E-Kinerja application to support effective performance administration. This topic was chosen based on the low technology utilization in partner schools and the limited skills of teachers in managing digital administration. The activity was implemented through a preliminary survey, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages, involving the principal and teachers as active participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in teacher understanding and skills in operating the E-Kinerja application, starting from logging in, filling out performance planning, and synchronizing data. Continuous mentoring also increased teacher independence and confidence in dealing with technical obstacles. Thus, this activity successfully supported the digitalization of performance administration in elementary schools and can serve as a model for other schools to improve the effectiveness of technology-based performance management.

Abstract

The learning process carried out at home during the COVID-19 pandemic demands the creativity of educators so that the material provided can be understood by students. The problems that arise during online lectures are changing the habits of students who always get detailed explanations from lecturers, while in online lectures the interaction between students and lecturers is limited and there are student guidelines for independent study. The research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the learning process at home using video-based tutorials. The methodology is carried out using the ADIIE model. The process of making tutorials is done by making a video story board that will be made and implementing the story board using Camtasia Studio. The results of the study resulted in Structured Programming course material in the form of video tutorials from meetings 1 to 10. The evaluation results showed that 39.1% of students answered very well to the question of whether videos can be used for self-study at home and 60.8% answered quite well.
