Abstract

Diabetes is a non-communicable disease (NCD) that is often suffered by Indonesian people. One of the causes of diabetes mellitus (DM) is poor lifestyle and consumption patterns. Based on this, a health education effort is needed regarding the use of local food for diabetes sufferers in Tanoh Megakhe Village, Badar District, Southeast Aceh Regency. The aim of this health education is to increase the knowledge of the Tanoh Megakhe Village community regarding diabetes mellitus and prevention efforts through consuming local food. Health education method with lectures, using leaflet media. The results of this health education program are able to increase public knowledge about the importance of maintaining diet and local food consumption patterns to avoid complications of diabetes mellitus. The conclusion that can be drawn is that health education through lecture and leaflet methods has proven to be effective in conveying information, increasing memory capacity, and stimulating changes in attitudes and behavior towards a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in each question on pre-activity in the student book entitled "English Skills For the Future" edition for class XII Senior High School. Qualitative descriptive methods were used in this study with documentation technique in a document in the form of student book entitled "English Skills For the Future" for class XII. The HOTS theory (C4 = analyze, C5 = evaluate, and C6 = create) in Anderson & Krathwohl's revised Bloom's taxonomy was used as a reference for analyzing the data. This study focused on data sourced from the Swing Into Action section contained in all chapters in the student book with a total of 37 data questions. The results of this study showed that 30% of the questions were C4, 32% of the questions were C5, and 38% of the questions were C6. Based on the results of the analysis, it could be concluded that the questions distributed on pre-activity in the student book "English Skills For the Future" edition for class XII SMA all contain HOTS based on Anderson & Krathwohl's revised Bloom's taxonomy, with the dominance of category C6 (create) questions in HOTS.

Abstract

Cooperative learning has been known as an effective learning method in increasing student learning motivation. This research aims to present a literature review of cooperative learning strategies and their impact on student learning motivation. Cooperative learning methods involve interaction between students to achieve joint learning goals, thereby encouraging them to actively participate in the learning process. Literature studies show that cooperative learning strategies, such as team learning, pair learning, and group discussions, can increase student learning motivation through increasing a sense of responsibility, mutual trust, and cooperation between students. In addition, cooperative learning can also increase student involvement in the learning process, strengthen social relationships between students, and help students develop important social skills. The results of this literature review indicate that the implementation of cooperative learning strategies can make a positive contribution to student learning motivation. Therefore, it is recommended that educators consider using cooperative learning strategies in designing learning that can effectively increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the open unemployment rate and inflation on economic growth in Lampung Province in the 2012-2021 period. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Lampung Provincial Government Financial Statistics and the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical methods used include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and autocorrelation tests. The results of the analysis show that the open unemployment rate and inflation have a negative influence on economic growth in Lampung Province. The implication of this research is the need to increase investment, improve workforce qualifications, stable inflation policies, and economic diversification to increase economic growth in Lampung Province.

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. These bacteria are able to live for months in a cool and dark place, especially in a humid place. TB germs can cause infection in the lungs so it is called pulmonary TB. In addition to infecting the lungs, TB germs can enter the blood vessels and spread throughout the body. Research Objectives: To explore the available research evidence on Improving the Effectiveness of Family Health Management with TB through Family Support in Drug Adherence. Research Methodology: This study uses a descriptive exploratory design of research articles to explore the best available evidence in the last three years. The research instrument uses an online website media to search for research articles with the Open Journal System (OJS), namely publications in national (preferred) and international journals that are indexed and can be accessed openly, which is limited to the period of publication in the last one to three years until get 9 articles for literature review. Research Results: This study produced 9 articles that supported the title of the researcher and then reviewed and analyzed to prove related to efforts to improve the effectiveness of family health management with tuberculosis through family support through medication adherence. Conclusion: family support can increase the effectiveness of family health management with tuberculosis through medication adherence.Stroke is a disease that causes major disability, a stroke patient who experiences paralysis will experience impaired mobilization so that the bone area will stand out as a result of experiencing ischemia and hypoxia tissueresulting in pressure sores.

Abstract

The sanitation conditions of residential houses in the Indramayu Regency are mostly categorized as low, which can potentially trigger Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI). This research aims to determine the relationship between the physical sanitation of homes and ARI in toddlers within the working area of the Cantigi Community Health Center in the Indramayu Regency. The research method employed a cross-sectional approach, with a sample taken from a total population of 95 houses in the Cantigi Community Health Center area. Data collection methods included semi-structured interviews, observations, and measurements covering ventilation, natural lighting, humidity, and flooring. Statistical tests were conducted using ordinal scale data, and the Chi-Square statistical test was chosen due to its suitability for the data used. The confidence level was set at 95% with a significance level of 5%. To determine the strength of the relationship between independent and dependent variables, the contingency coefficient (CC) was used, scored from 0 (lowest) to 1 (highest), and data processing was performed using SPSS version 24. Based on the research results, the Chi-Square test yielded the following values: ventilation p = 0.000 and CC = 0.455, lighting p = 0.000 and CC = 0.358, humidity p = 0.000 and CC = 0.538, flooring p = 0.002 and CC = 0.323. Thus, the hypothesis stating 'The relationship between ventilation, lighting, humidity, and flooring is associated with ARI in toddlers in the working area of the Cantigi Community Health Center, Indramayu Regency' is accepted, indicating a fairly strong relationship.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to identify the content analysis according to Cunningsworth’s theory in the English textbook entitled “Pathway To English Phase E” used in first grade senior high school by Th.M. Sudarwati and Eudia Grace. This study was a descriptive qualitative research with a documentation technique as a data collection method. This study also used triangulation namely triangulation of data. This study used content analysis according to Cunningsworth’s theory to analyzed the data. According to the criteria for selecting a good textbook which are: 1) aims and approaches, 2) language and content, 3) skill, 4) topic, and 5) methodology. The research was conducted from Desember 2023 to January 2024. This study was conducted at the library. To analyze the data, the researchers used qualitative analysis data. The results of this study will be the criteria for a good textbook according to cunningsworth 5 out of 8 criteria are present. Among them are aims and approaches, language and content, skill, topic and methodology. The research show aims and approaches get 93,75%, language and content get 70,83%, skill get 95,83%, topic get 87,5 and methodology get 100%. The average points is 89,5%. Additionally, the study shows that data is transmitted in the form of texts, instructions and conversations.

Abstract

National food security is one of the crucial issues or problem that is the focus of government attention in order to ensure the availability, access, and quality of food for the entire community. Government policies that support local independence are believed to have an important role in achieving sustainable food security. This study aims to analyze government policies from a legal perspective in advancing local independence and their implications for national food security. The methodology used in this study is normative legal analysis with a descriptive approach. The data used comes from primary sources such as laws and regulations and related policies, as well as secondary sources in the form of literature and other supporting documents. The analysis is carried out to identify policies that have been implemented, evaluate their effectiveness, and the legal implications that arise. The results of the study show that there are a number of policies that have been implemented by the government to advance local independence, but there are still various challenges in their implementation. Several policies that are effective at the local level have not been fully integrated with national policies, which causes a lack of harmony in achieving food security. In addition, this study found that the legal aspects of the policy still need improvement to support the sustainability of local independence in the long term. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening a more integrated legal and policy framework that focuses on local empowerment. Recommendations are given to policy makers to improve existing regulations, improve coordination between institutions, and encourage local community participation in efforts to achieve sustainable national food security.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika pada materi fungsi.. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA 18 Surabaya di kelas XI-8 dengan jumlah 35 siswa , terdiri dari 17 siswa laki-laki dan 18 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Masalah yang diberikan berkaitan dengan materi fungsi sebanyak satu soal berupa uraian, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan siswa. Dari 35 siswa sebanyak tiga siswa dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian yang mengalami kesulitan pada tahap pemecahan masalah Polya yang meliputi: (1) memahami masalah, (2) menyusun rencana penyelesaian, (3) melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian, (4) memeriksa kembali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika yang berkaitan dengan materi Fungsi.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi merupakan salah satu penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah yang telah menjadi penyakit yang mematikan banyak penduduk, baik di negara maju maupun berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Hipertensi sering disebut the silent killer atau pembunuh senyap karena muncul tanpa keluhan. Hipertensi jika tidak ditangani dapat menyebabkan komplikasi seperti gagal jantung, serangan jantung, dan kerusakan mata. Salah satu pengobatan non farmakologi yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan terapi relaksasi otot progresif. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh terapi relaksasi otot progresif terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Metode: Quasi experiment design dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu accidental sampling. Uji normalitas dengan shapiro-wilk test dan teknik analisis menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil: Berdasarkan uji wilcoxon hasil penelitian menunjukan tekanan sistolik dan diastolik diperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,000, karena nilai p<0,05 berarti ada pengaruh teknik relaksasi otot progresif terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh terapi relaksasi otot progresif terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi.
