Abstract

Continuity Of Care is a service that is achieved when there is a continuous relationship between a woman and a midwife. Continuous care related to health professionals, midwifery services are carried out from preconception, early pregnancy, during all trimesters, birth and childbirth to the first 6 weeks postpartum until deciding to use family planning. This aims to help, monitor, and detect the possibility of complications that accompany the mother and baby from pregnancy to the use of birth control. The method of midwifery care at the Lambu Health Center is through home visits and visits at the Health Center by providing counseling according to the needs of mothers. Midwifery care given to Mrs." N" lasts from pregnancy, postpartum delivery, neonates, to family planning with the frequency of pregnancy visits 2 times, childbirth 1 time, postpartum 3 times, neonatal 3 times and family planning 1 time. To Mrs." N" the pregnancy process was carried out by an antopometric examination and the height of the mother was <145 cm. The findings of the study showed a significant association between maternal height and the incidence of CPD, where height under 145 cm was a risk factor. On the first visit during pregnancy, the mother complained that her body felt sore, so the author provided mass care for pregnant women to overcome the pain in the mother. In addition, at the second visit, the mother complained of pain in the pelvic area, so the author performed Masase effleurage to reduce pain. In the delivery process, in the second phase the mother was led to strain for 1 hour and the management had been carried out according to the 60 steps of the APN. In midwifery care during the postpartum period, the mother said that the milk production was smooth and there were no complications. At the time of the 6th week of the postpartum visit, family planning counseling had been given and the mother decided to use injectable birth control for 3 months and had been waited. Continuity of care that has been carried out on Mrs. N" during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn and family planning. It is hoped that the midwife profession in providing continuous midwifery care (continuity of care) will always implement midwifery management, maintain and improve competence in providing care in accordance with midwifery service standards. Abstract

The integration of technology and media in IPAS learning at the elementary school level has begun to be developed by teachers, thus requiring further analysis of its implementation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of IPAS learning development that integrates technology and media in elementary schools, viewed through the ASSURE model. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, using data from classroom observation sheets, response questionnaires from 20 fourth-grade students, interviews with one IPAS teacher, as well as document analysis of IPAS Phase B learning outcomes and the fourth-grade teaching module for Chapter 6. The data were then analyzed using Creswell's qualitative data analysis procedures, starting from raw data collection, organization, comprehensive reading, coding, development of themes and descriptions, to interpretation and validation through triangulation and participant confirmation. The findings show that the implementation of the ASSURE model in IPAS learning has been carried out effectively by the teacher. Based on the results, nearly 95% of the ASSURE syntax has been optimally implemented. These results imply that teachers are capable of designing resource utilization syntax more effectively, which in turn minimizes obstacles in the use of learning media and its supporting tools, and supports the achievement of learning objectives optimally.

Abstract

Third-grade students often face difficulties in understanding the abstract and cyclical nature of the water cycle, leading to misconceptions and fragmented knowledge. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of integrating Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Wordwall (WW) in improving students’ conceptual understanding of the water cycle. A quasi-experiment employed in this study. The participants involved 105 third-grade students from one elementary school, divided into three groups: PBL+Wordwall, PBL-only, and a conventional instruction group. Over six sessions, students received instruction aligned with their group’s assigned strategy. The results, based on pretest and posttest comparisons analysed through t-tests and MANCOVA, show that both PBL and PBL+Wordwall outperform conventional teaching; however, PBL+Wordwall did not significantly surpass PBL alone. These findings suggest that PBL is a powerful strategy for teaching scientific concepts and that visual tools like Wordwall may offer added benefits in vocabulary reinforcement and engagement. This research supports the adoption of active learning and digital aids to enhance science instruction in elementary education.
