Abstract

This study aims to identify effective strategies for organizing inclusive education for children with special needs in elementary schools. The research employs an exploratory qualitative method, with primary data sources including observation, interviews, and documentation at Sekolah Kreatif Muhammadiyah 2 Bontang, East Kalimantan. The study founds that collaborative and comprehensive strategies, continuous professional development, differentiated instruction approaches, and rigorous control and supervision are key to successful inclusive education implementation. Data analysis reveals that collaboration among teachers, parents, and support staff is crucial to creating an inclusive learning environment that supports the development of children with special needs. This study recommends improving teacher training, as well as active community involvement and support from relevant parties to overcome challenges in inclusive education and achieve more optimal results. Thus, it is expected to improve the quality of inclusive education in Indonesia and provide better opportunities for children with special needs to achieve their potential optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

Background: Faltering growth is a precursor to nutritional problems, yet government efforts often fail to address region-specific causes. The agricultural area of Pringsurat Community Health Center has the highest incidence of faltering growth in Temanggung Regency. Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the risk factors for faltering growth in children under five in the area of Pringsurat Community Health Center. Methods: This study employed a case-control design involving 104 children (52 with growth failure and 52 without). Subjects were randomly selected from integrated service posts (posyandu) in villages with the highest cases of growth failure within the research area. Growth failure was defined by a stagnant weight-for-age z-score (WAZ) across three weight measurements. Data on growth failure were collected through weight measurements, while data on factors associated with growth failure were obtained from interviews and the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) book records. Statistical analysis was performed using chi-squared and logistic regression tests. Results: The majority of the subjects were female, aged 24-59 months, had normal birth weight, had a history of infections, utilized posyandu services, received good parenting, and consumed insufficient energy but adequate protein. The main risk factor for failure to thrive was posyandu service underutilization (OR=2.564; 95% CI [1.163-5.654]; p-value=0.019). Factors such as parenting practices, a history of infection, birth weight, gender, and protein consumption were not statistically significant. Conclusions: Posyandu service underutilization is the predominant risk factor for growth failure among children under five in the area of Pringsurat Community Health Center.

Abstract

Background: Many parents encourage their children to take additional lessons to enhance their academic performance, while other important aspects, such as students' physical fitness, are often overlooked. Objectives: This research investigates the relationship between physical fitness and learning achievement among high school students in Semarang. Methods: This observational study employed a cross-sectional design and involved 396 high school students in Semarang, with 86 subjects selected randomly. The dependent variable was learning achievement, measured by the raw scores of the final semester exams. The independent variable was physical fitness, while the other confounding variables included nutritional status, food consumption, socioeconomic conditions, health status, and participation in private tutoring. Dietary intake was assessed using a 24-hour food recall method. Body Mass Index for age (BMI/A) was calculated using weight and height to evaluate nutritional status. The multistage fitness test was utilized to assess physical fitness. Additional data were collected through interviews. Data analysis was conducted using chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression. Results: The results indicated that most subjects had inadequate nutrient intake, with low percentages for energy (55.8%), carbohydrates (76.7%), protein (45.3%), and iron (64%). In contrast, fat intake was predominantly categorized as excessive (39.5%). While most subjects exhibited good nutritional status (79.1%), their physical fitness levels were primarily poor (58.1%). Multivariate analysis revealed that good physical fitness and participation in additional lessons were positively correlated with learning achievement (p-value=0.025, p-value=0.017). Conclusions: Enhancing physical fitness is essential for improving student learning outcomes. Participating in supplementary activities, such as attending additional lessons, is also necessary to improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstract: Red chili is one of the crops commonly cultivated by farmers in several regions of Indonesia. This is due not only to its high economic value but also to its various health benefits. This study aims to determine the effect of applying different concentrations of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer and goat manure liquid organic fertilizer (POC Kohe Kambing) on the growth of red chili plants. The experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD), while the treatment design was factorial, consisting of two factors: NPK 16:16:16 (N) with three treatment doses: N0: 0 ml/plot, N1: 60 g/plot, and N2: 120 g/plot. ,Goat manure liquid organic fertilizer (POC Kohe Kambing) with four levels: P0: 0 liter/plot, P1: 1 liter/plot, P2: 2 liters/plot, and P3: 3 liters/plot, each with three replications. The observed variables included plant height, the height of the first branch, stem base diameter, and the number of leaves. The results showed that the application of different doses had a significant effect on plant height, the height of the first branch, stem base diameter, and the number of leaves across all observation periods. NPK 16:16:16 influenced observations at 56 days after planting. The best results for goat manure liquid organic fertilizer were achieved at P3 (3 liters/plot). The interaction between NPK 16:16:16 doses and goat manure liquid organic fertilizer significantly affected all observed parameters. Keywords: Red Chili, NPK 16:16:16 Fertilizer, Goat Manure POC, Plant GrowthAbstrak: Cabai merah merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman yang umumnya ditanam oleh petani di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia. Ini disebabkan tidak hanya oleh tingginya nilai jual cabai merah, tetapi juga karena buah ini memiliki beberapa keuntungan untuk Kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian konsentrasi Pupuk NPK 16:16:16 dan POC Kohe Kambing terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Cabai merah. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), sedangkan rancangan perlakuannya adalah Faktorial, yang terdiri atas dua faktor yang diteliti, yaitu :1. NPK 16:16:16 (N) terdiri dari 3 dosis perlakuan N0: 0ml/plot, N1: 60g/plot, U2: 120g/plot. Dosis yang ke 2. POC KOHE Kambing terdiri dari 4 Taraf P0: 0 liter/plot, P1: 1 lliter/plot, P2: 2 liter/plot, P3: 3 liter/plot dengan 3 ulangan. Peubah amatan yang diamati: Tinggi Tanaman, Tinggi Cabang Pertama, Diameter Pangkal Batang, Jumlah Daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi perbedaan dosis menunjukan pengaruh yang nyata pada pengamatan tinggi tanaman, Tinggi Cabang Pertama, Diameter Pangkal Cabang, dan Jumlah Daun pada Semua umur amatan, NPK 16:16:16 berpengaruh pada pengamatan pada umur 56 Hari Setelah Tanam, kandungan dosis tanaman dengan Pupuk POC KOHE Kambing pupuk terbaik Pada P3 3 lter /plot, Interaksi dosis NPK 16:16:16 dan POC KOHE Kambing berpengaruh pada semua parameter pengamatan. Kata kunci: Cabai Merah, Pupuk NPK 16:16:16, POC Kohe Kambing, Pertumbuhan Tanaman

Abstract

Providing access to learning in inclusive schools for children with special needs in Indonesia is still concerning. The implementation of the curriculum in inclusive schools has not been able to accommodate all Children with Special Needs. This study aimed to find a conceptual model of curriculum management as an alternative and practical approach to implementing inclusive schools. This study was conducted in one of the elementary schools in Yogyakarta using qualitative methods with case study. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation of sources, techniques, and time was used to test the validity of the data to test the validity of the data. Data analysis includes collection, reduction, presentation, and verification/conclusions. The study results indicate that inclusive curriculum management has been implemented and structured through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating/assessing, considering all aspects involved in the process. The results of this study can be used as a guideline for implementing curriculum management in inclusive schools. However, further research is needed on the effectiveness of implementing curriculum management in inclusive schools and a more in-depth study of the obstacles and challenges in implementing curriculum management in inclusive schools.

Abstract

Kecemasan dalam menghadapi kematian akan semakin membuat lansia tidak siap untuk menghadapi kematian. Tujuan melakukan analisa efektivitas pemberian terapi releasing 3m terhadap penururnan kecemasan lansia dalam menghadapi kematian. Penelitian menggunakan desain pra eksperimental dengan desain penelitian “one group pretest-posttest design”. Intervensi yang dilakukan yaitu pemberian terapi Releasing 3M yang diberikan dalam kurun waktu 30 menit selama tiga hari. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anggota Posyandu Lansia di Dusun Kerto Kidul Desa Pleret, Bantul Yogyakarta dengan jumlah 70 lansia. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling sebanyak 32 lansia. Instrumen untuk menilai kecemasa pada lansia menggunakan instrumen penelitian Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Uji Analisa menggunakan uji paired t test. Mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin perempuan (81,3%) dengan usia ≥65-70 tahun (50%). Seluruh responden tinggal bersama keluarga (100%). Mayoritas responden tidak bersekolah (53,1%) dengan kategori pekerjaan lain-lain (65,6%) selain (pegawai negeri dan petani). Hasil analisa kecemasan responden sebelum diberikan intervensi Terapi Releasing 3M mayoritas masuk dalam kecemasan kategori ringan (90,6%) dan ditemukan ada 1 responden dengan kecemasan berat (3,1%). Hasil evaluasi kecemasan setelah diberikan Terapi Releasing 3M mayoritas normal atau tidak ada kecemasan (90,6%) dan sudah tidak ditemukan lagi kecemasan kategori berat (0%). Hasil uji korelasi menujukkan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,925 dengan nilai 0,000. Nilai uji menunjukkan terbukti adanya keefektivitasan pemberian terapi releasing 3M terhadap penurunan kecemasan lansia dalam menghadapi kematian yang terlihat pada nilai antara variable pretest dengan variable posttest.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasrat anaklitik aktif dan pasif dalam tatanan simbolik, imajiner, dan fantasi pada tokoh utama dalam novel Eminus Dolere karya Arman Dhani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan metode baca dan catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan redukasi data, dilanjutkan dengan penyajian data, lalu diakhiri dengan verifikasi data. Landasan teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teori psikoanalisis Jacques Lacan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, ditemukan sebanyak 46 kutipan yang termasuk hasrat anaklitik aktif dan pasif dalam tatanan simbolik, imajiner, dan fantasi pada tokoh utama dalam novel Eminus Dolere karya Arman Dhani. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, hasrat anaklitik aktif hasrat yang mendominasi dari tokoh utama dalam novel Eminus Dolere karya Arman Dhani yaitu hasrat anaklitik aktif dalam tatanan simbolik dan hasrat anaklitik aktif dalam tatanan fantasi. Sedangkan pada hasrat anaklitik pasif, jenis hasrat yang mendominasi ialah hasrat anaklitik pasif dalam tatanan simbolik.

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the influence of entrepreneurial competency and the principal's leadership on the learning school and its implication on the teachers' innovative performance. The study belongs to quantitative research using a cross-sectional design with ninety teachers as the samples. The analysis concluded several findings. First, entrepreneurial competency reached the beta score of 0.107, showing that it has no significant influence on learning school. Second, the managerial competency has a positive impact on the learning school, which was as much as 0.644. Third, entrepreneurial competency reached the beta score of 0.022, indicating that it has no significant influence on the teachers' innovative performance. Fourth, similarly, managerial competency reached a score of 0.005, showing that it does not influence the teachers' innovative performance. Fifth, learning school negatively influences the teachers' innovative performance, with a score of -0.355, showing its significant effect. Sixth, entrepreneurial competency through learning school positively influences the teachers' innovative performance, with a score of 0.059. And seventh, managerial competency through learning school positively affects the teachers' innovative performance, with a score of 0.233. The research implies a relative influence of the principal's entrepreneurial and managerial competencies on developing the learning environment and the teachers' innovative performance at school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of foreign language learning at SMK Darul Amanah, a school based in a pesantren (Islamic boarding school), which integrates the learning of Arabic and English into students' daily lives. Foreign language learning at this school is designed to develop students' language skills in both religious and professional contexts. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the planning of foreign language learning at SMK Darul Amanah involves clear objectives, focusing on mastering Arabic for religious purposes and English for professional needs. The implementation of learning is carried out intensively through various extracurricular programs such as Muhadloroh, Mufrodat Pagi, and Muhadasah Yaumiyah, which enable students to practice speaking in both languages. Evaluation is conducted through written tests, oral assessments, and portfolios. This contextual and practice-based learning approach has proven effective in improving students' foreign language skills, with the integration of language use into daily life further enhancing natural language acquisition. This research contributes to the development of foreign language learning based on pesantren models in Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Putusan PN Serang putusan nomor 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg terkait pertanggungjawaban pidana berkaitan dengan tindak pidana berlalu lintas yang mengakibatkan orang lain meninggal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum normatif dengan fokus analisis pada ratio decidendi hakim dalam Putusan PN serang putusan nomor 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg dengan pendekatan kasus, konsep, dan perundangundangan. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa pertanggungjawaban pidana terhadap pelaku kelalaian dalam berlalu lintas yang mengakibatkan orang lain meninggal dunia sebagaimana dalam ratio decidendi hakim dalam putusan PN putusan nomor 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg dalam mengadili kasus terdakwa sejatinya telah sesuai dan relevan dengan unsur sebagaimana Pasal 310) dan (4) UU LLAJ, maka terdakwa telah memenuhi unsur (i) setiap orang, (ii) mengemudikan kendaraan bermotor, serta (iii) karena kelalaiannya menyebabkan kecelakaan lalu lintas yang mengakibatkan orang lain meninggal dunia. Ratio decidendi dalam putusan nomor 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg telah sesuai dalam mengkualifikasi peristiwa hukum berdasarkan ketentuan Pasal 310 UU LLAJ. Akan tetapi, peneliti kurang sependapat dengan sanksi yang dijatuhkan terlalu tinggi, oleh majelis hakim karena kurang sesuai dengan landasan filosofis dari adanya restorative justice dalam menjatuhkan pidana.Kata Kunci : Tindak Pidana, kelalaian, lalu lintas.ABSTRACT : This research aims to analyze the Serang District Court decision number 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg regarding criminal liability relating to traffic crimes that result in the death of other people. This research is normative legal research with a focus on analysis of the judge's ratio decidendi in the PN Serangdecision number 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg with a case, concept and statutory approach. The results of the research confirm that criminal liability for perpetrators of negligence in traffic which results in the death of another person as stated in the judge's ratio decidendi in the PN decision number 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg in trying the defendant's case is actually in accordance and relevant to the elements as per Article 310) and (4) of the LLAJ Law, the defendant has fulfilled the elements of (i) being a person, (ii) driving a motorized vehicle, and (iii) because of his negligence causing a traffic accident which resulted in the death of another person. The ratio decidendi in decision number 574/Pid.Sus/2023/Pn.Srg is appropriate in qualifying legal events based on the provisions of Article 310 of the LLAJ Law. However, researchers do not agree that the sanctions imposed are too high by the panel of judges because they are not in accordance with the philosophical basis of restorative justice in imposing crimes.Keywords: Crime, negligence, traffic.
