Abstract

Electronic commerce does provide many benefits, but it is also prone to violations of consumer rights. Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning ITE, Law No. 7 of 2014 concerning Trade and Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection have indeed been prepared by the Government to deal with this matter in theory but not in practice where complications arise such as the viral case of ordering tiles worth 28.7 million consumers losing money and not getting their orders. The purpose of writing this law is to find out the position and responsibilities of the Dropshipper if there is a violation of Consumer Rights, and what regulations need to be applied by the Government to Dropshippers as e-commerce service providers in electronic trade transactions. The use of a normative perspective legislative approach aims to explain the legal position in online trade transactions. This study investigates legal principles, legal systematics, the degree of legal synchronization, and legal history. The data used are from secondary, primary, and tertiary legal sources. The result of this writing research is that legal certainty can be answered with preventive steps, namely recording the identity of e-commerce platform actors who are required to have a business license based on Article 15 of PP PMSE. As well as the need for the role of the Ministry of Communication and Information to strive to supervise business actors in e-commerce.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to understand the use of the song "Rumah" written and performed by Salma Salsabil, and the song "Kembali Pulang," a collaborative work between Suara Kayu and Feby Putri, in Teaching Indonesian as a Foreign Language (BIPA). The main focus of this study is how these two songs can enhance Indonesian language skills, such as speaking, reading, listening, and writing, while also introducing Indonesian cultural values like togetherness, family bonds, and the longing for one's hometown. A qualitative approach with content analysis is employed to explore the application of these songs in BIPA learning. The song "Rumah" is suitable for beginner learners, while "Kembali Pulang" is more appropriate for intermediate to advanced learners. Both songs convey important messages about the values of family and the experience of being away from home in Indonesian social life. Through these songs, learners not only improve their language skills but also gain an understanding of emotional expressions in Indonesian, such as longing and exhaustion. Therefore, the use of songs as a media for BIPA learning proves to be an effective way to introduce both the Indonesian language and culture in an enjoyable and practical manner.

Abstract

Management of New Student Admissions (PPDB) is a crucial element in ensuring that schools can provide optimal educational services. In this context, information technology plays a significant role in introducing schools through various platforms, including websites and social media, to disseminate information about the PPDB process and the flagship programs offered. This study aims to analyze the management of PPDB at SMK Muhammadiyah Petanahan, Kebumen Regency, using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews with stakeholders involved in PPDB (the Principal, PPDB Chairperson, and students), observations of PPDB activities in the field, and documentation studies of promotional archives and new student admission data. The data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's data analysis technique. The results of the study indicate that SMK Muhammadiyah Petanahan has a good reputation and several flagship programs. However, there are weaknesses in promotion that have not been maximized, especially in the use of social media. The school also faces threats from competition with other schools and societal stigma against vocational schools. Nonetheless, there are significant opportunities, including government support for vocational education and the potential for collaboration with companies for student internships. This study concludes that effective PPDB management at SMK Muhammadiyah Petanahan requires strengthening promotion through information technology, utilizing collaboration opportunities with industries, and improving facilities to address increasingly intense competition.
