Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of interactive media on students' learning outcomes through a meta-analysis approach. A total of 25 relevant studies published between 2019 and 2024 were analyzed using the Restricted Maximum Likelihood (ML) method in a random-effects model. The results show a moderate effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.495) with substantial heterogenety (I² = 89.27%). Publication bias was tested using a funnel plot, Egger’s test, and fail-safe N analysis, confirming the validity of the findings. The results indicate that interactive media significantly enhance student learning outcomes across various educational contexts. These findings suggest that teachers and policymakers should integrate interactive media into science education to foster student engagement and improve learning effectiveness. Future research should explore the long-term impact and optimal implementation strategies for interactive media in diverse learning environments.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of Electric Vehicle Technology Mastery and Project Team Collaboration on Automotive Product Innovation, with Student Creativity as a mediating variable among students of the Vocational Automotive Technology Education Program at Universitas Lancang Kuning (Unilak). The study is grounded in the increasing demand for advanced electrification skills and collaborative capabilities required in modern automotive industries. A quantitative explanatory approach was used, involving 100 students participating in electrification-based automotive projects. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed through validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple regression, and mediation analysis using SPSS. The findings indicate that Electric Vehicle Technology Mastery and Student Creativity have a positive and significant effect on Automotive Product Innovation. Project Team Collaboration shows a significant but negative effect, suggesting that suboptimal teamwork dynamics may hinder the innovation process. Simultaneously, all predictors strongly influence innovation, with an R² value of 0.866. Student Creativity emerges as the most dominant factor. These results highlight the essential role of integrating technical competence, creativity, and collaborative skills to enhance innovation capacity within vocational education settings. Keywords: Electric Vehicle Technology, Team Collaboration, Student Creativity, Automotive Innovation, Vocational Education. Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires learning approaches that integrate interactive media to enhance student engagement and conceptual understanding. However, Informatics learning in many senior high schools is still dominated by teacher-centered instruction, which limits students’ opportunities to explore concepts actively. Therefore, innovative digital learning media are needed to support more interactive and student-centered learning environments. This study aims to develop and evaluate interactive multimedia for learning basic computer operations and software functions in Grade 10 Informatics. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model, which applies a systematic instructional design through three stages: define, develop, and evaluate. The study involved 30 tenth-grade students and two Informatics teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi, Indonesia. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The results show that the multimedia achieved very high validity (4.62) and excellent practicality (90.6%). The effectiveness test produced an N-gain score of 0.60, indicating a moderate level of effectiveness. These findings suggest that the multimedia is valid, practical, and moderately effective for supporting digital learning aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

Abstract

Meaningful learning in digital electronics requires hands-on practicum activities to support students’ understanding of abstract logic concepts. However, limited access to appropriate practicum media often hinders effective learning experiences. This study aims to develop and validate a physical Basic Logic Gate practicum module designed to support hands-on learning in digital electronics courses. The study employed a Research and Development approach using the 4D model, completing the Define, Design, and Develop stages up to expert validation and student practicality testing. The developed module consists of a hardware-based logic gate kit that enables students to assemble and test basic logic gate circuits directly during practicum sessions. Content and media validation were conducted by a material expert and a media expert using a Likert-scale instrument, while practicality testing involved 28 undergraduate students. The validation results indicated high validity, with scores of 96.19% from the material expert and 97.14% from the media expert. Practicality testing yielded an average score of 98.57%, indicating that the module is highly practical in terms of usability, functionality, and suitability for practicum implementation. These findings demonstrate that the developed Basic Logic Gate practicum module meets quality standards for instructional media and is feasible for use in digital electronics practicum learning.

Abstract

This study investigates entrepreneurial competence among vocational fashion education alumni and examines the role of Islamic values in strengthening such competence across educational levels. Using a convergent mixed-methods design, data were collected from 90 alumni entrepreneurs in West Sumatra (30 from vocational secondary schools, 30 diploma, and 30 bachelor graduates) through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis. The findings reveal that overall entrepreneurial competence is high across groups, with significant differences based on educational level (F(2,87) = 9.53, p .001). Bachelor’s degree graduates demonstrate stronger strategic competencies, particularly in networking, management, and opportunity recognition, whereas vocational secondary graduates show comparable strengths in persistence and production skills. Qualitative results indicate that Islamic values—such as honesty (ṣidq), trustworthiness (amānah), perseverance (istiqāmah), and sincerity (ikhlāṣ)—serve as internal mechanisms that reinforce ethical behavior, motivation, and business sustainability. The study concludes that entrepreneurial competence is both developmentally structured and value-reinforced, highlighting the importance of vertically aligned, experience-based, and values-integrated curricula. However, the study is limited by its regional scope and cross-sectional design. Future research should expand to broader contexts and explore longitudinal and sector-specific applications of values-based entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology adoption has become a strategic factor in improving the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Nevertheless, many MSMEs fail to fully benefit from digital technologies due to limited digital literacy, reflecting an education-related gap between technology utilization and human capacity development. This study aims to analyze the effect of information technology adoption on MSME performance, with digital literacy serving as a mediating variable that represents learning and skill development processes. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey of 330 MSME owners and managers across various business sectors. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Instrument validity and reliability were established through convergent validity, discriminant validity, and composite reliability tests. The results indicate that information technology adoption has a positive and significant effect on digital literacy and MSME performance (β 0). Furthermore, digital literacy partially mediates the relationship between technology adoption and performance, while the model demonstrates moderate explanatory power as indicated by R² values. This study contributes to education scholarship by positioning digital literacy as a mediating learning construct in MSME performance research. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of designing targeted digital training, literacy programs, and curriculum development for MSME capacity building to support sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The presence of digital technology has fundamentally changed the business landscape, and one of the most striking transformations is the birth of e-commerce. Online business has become a global phenomenon that is spurring economic growth, increasing the accessibility of products and services, and changing the way companies interact with customers. In this context, three main factors emerge as key elements influencing the success of an e-commerce business: superior user experience, wise pricing strategy, and a sophisticated e-commerce platform. This research aims to find out how demographics, user experience and platforms influence the digital business world. The research method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a qualitative approach in a systematic review which is used to summarize research results that are descriptive qualitative in nature. The results of this research are that there is a significant influence between demographics and user experience because these three variables greatly influence customer purchases because they can be a comparison of various aspects of purchasing through platforms in the digital business world.
