Abstract

This study aspired to represent the concessions of executing English Area for teenagers on their English language skills. In this case, four skills are incorporated into the enactment process. The implementation of this study was conducted at SMA 3 Majene which is a boarding school student. This study used a quantitative descriptive method where there were 28 samples from 58 populations who participated in the data collection process. The instrument used is a test consisting of a pre-test and post-test, and an observation guide. From the results of observation, the prominent skill was speaking skill which was seen from several activities, namely providing material, morning talk, talk show, talent night, and treasure hunt consisting of five activities, namely Spelling bee, Word Guessing, Constructing Sentences, Once Upon A Time, Arrange the picture. This was in line with the test results which showed that this program could improve students' speaking skills with an average score of -0.767. The researchers concluded that this program can improve speaking, but it did not have much effect on other skills. Therefore, researchers recommended that further research can construct more active activities furthermore all skills can be covered. This research can provide benefits for pre-service teachers who can use this research as a reference for carrying out activities in the classroom. It was also useful for future researchers who wanted to develop English area programs in other places or by using different indicators.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan pendampingan belajar yang terdiri dari pemberian materi dan praktik langsung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa inggris di SMP 4 Kab. Majene, khususnya skill berbicara. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa ketika berbicara di depan umum. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap warming up, tahap pemaparan, dan penutup. Subyek dalam kegiatan ini adalah siswa-siswi gabungan kelas VII, VIII, dan IX di SMP 4 Kab. Majene. Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan siswa yang ingin berlatih bahasa inggris namun belum tersedianya wadah di sekolah, oleh karena itu tim pengabdian meluangkan waktu untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada mereka. Hasil dari program pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa meningkatnya kepercayaan diri siswa-siswi untuk berbicara di depan kelas menggunakan bahasa inggris yang sebelumnya mereka merasa kurang percaya diri dan kurang kosa kata. Selain itu, pengabdian ini juga bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa yang terlibat yakni mereka bisa mempraktikkan bagaimana menghadapi peserta didik sebagai calon guru. Abstract

This is a descriptive research which depicts essentially the object and explains more detail and systematic about student’ conceptual understanding on plane geometry towards the students who have visual, auditory, kinesthetic studying style. The subject was selected based on the questionnaire which was deployed in a class, which consists of 28 students, at SMP Muhammadiyah Watansoppeng. In the process, there were 3 steps; first, giving information about the goal of research and once in a while giving the questionnaire of studying style. Second, giving the test and doing observation step. Third, doing interview in order to know more information about how the students answer the problems on the test. The used instruments were the researcher, questionnaire of studying style, test of plane geometry-concept comprehention, and interview outlines. The result of this research showed that a student with visual-studying style was sufficiently able to meet two of five indicators demand which had been determined. But the student with auditory-studying style unable to meet the five indicators demand which had been determined

Abstract

Abstrak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur yang didesain untuk menggali secara mendalam tentang pemberian scaffolding metakognitif dalam pemecahan masalah geometri terhadap data subjek-subjek bergaya belajar auditorial. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti mencari hasil penelitian disertasi dan artikel nasional maupun internasional terindex scopus kemudian menganalisanya sehingga diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa dengan penerapan ekspositori atau pembelajaran langsung guru dapat mengajar secara rinci dengan melakukan metode yang berbeda dan berkelanjutan secara rutin seperti menampilkan video, gambar, dan mendengarkan musik. Guru juga mengarahkan siswa untuk berdiskusi dengan temannya agar mereka saling bekerjasama dalam memahami materi yang sedang dipelajari. Guru dapat memberikan scaffolding metakognitif untuk meningkatkan pencapaian belajar siswa serta mendukung proses monitoring dan kontrol siswa-siswanya. Guru dapat menggunakan media ajar teknologi Realitas Virtual (VR) dan Augmented Reality (AR) juga semakin diperkenalkan dalam konteks pembelajaran audio visual, memungkinkan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan mendekati realitas dalam pemecahan masalah geometri bangun ruang.

Abstract

Four basic skills (4Cs) are essential for the 21st century, one of which is creativity and innovation. However, in reality, the level of creativity in Indonesia remains relatively low. To address this issue, it is necessary to implement appropriate learning activities to enhance students' creativity. One of the effective approaches is the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). This study aimed to determine whether students' creativity with the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with STEAM was more creative compared to the creativity of students with the application of the Project-Based Learning model without STEAM integration. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method. The independent variables in this study are the STEAM-integrated PjBL model and the PjBL model without STEAM integration, while the dependent variable is students' creat. This research was a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental method. The independent variables in this study were the Project-Based Learning model integrated with STEAM and the Project-Based Learning model without STEAM integration, while the dependent variable was students' creativity. The data in this study were obtained by assigning projects in the form of a post-test (performance assessment and product assessment). The data analysis technique in this study was divided into two parts: descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, specifically simple linear regression tests and independent sample t-tests.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh program kompensasi finansial dan non-finansial terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT. Semen Tonasa Kabupaten Pangkep. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 93 karyawan sebagai responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel kompensasi finansial dan non-finansial terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompensasi finansial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT. Semen Tonasa Kabupaten Pangkep. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, dan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar0,355. 2) kompensasi non-finansial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT. Semen Tonasa Kabupaten Pangkep. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,663.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model Problem Based Learning dalam dan pembelajaran cerpen pada siswa kelas 6 UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1 dan mendeskripsikan keaktifan model Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran cerpen pada siswa kelas 6 UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel kelas 6 (A) dan kelas 6 (B) dengan jumlah siswa 64 orang sedangkan sumber data menggunakan data primer. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan pengolah data dengan SPSS. Alat uji yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji one – sampel test. Penyajian data dengan tabel dan narasi yang berhubungan dengan variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terkait pembelajaran cerpen dengan Model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas 6 UPT SPF SD. Inpres Baraya I. Tugas utama seorang guru hanya mendidik, melatih dan mengajar siswa. Akan tetapi yang lebih penting dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa yang menyenangkan melalui kegiatan diskusi di kelas, Hasil pretest dengan nilai rata – rata 65 sedangkan posttestnya dengan rata – rata 73. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar seharusnya dilakukan dengan berbagai pendekatan. Pendekatan dan metode belajar yang tepat membuat siswa lebih mudah menguasai pelajaran dengan cepat. This study aims to determine, (1) describe the Problem Based Learning model in and short story learning for grade 6 students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1, (2) to describe the activeness of the Problem Based Learning model in short story learning for grade 6 students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1. This study used samples of grade 6 (A) and grade 6 (B) with a total of 64 students while the data source used primary data. Data analysis of this study used data processing with SPSS. The test tools used were normality test, homogeneity test and one-sample test. Data presentation with tables and narratives related to the research variables. The results of this study indicate that related to short story learning with the Problem Based Learning Model can improve student achievement and learning outcomes in learning Indonesian language class 6 UPT SPF SD. Inpres Baraya I. The main task of a teacher is only to educate, train and teach students. However, what is more important is to be able to foster students' interest in learning which is enjoyable through discussion activities in class, The pretest results with an average score of 65 while the posttest with an average of 73. In learning Indonesian language in elementary schools should be carried out with various approaches. The right approach and learning method make it easier for students to master lessons quickly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan; (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran outing class terhadap penguasaan kosakata pada siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Bulurokeng Makassar dan (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran outing class terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi pada siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Bulurokeng. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan quasi eksperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Bulurokeng. Sampel Penelitian ini berjumlah 61 orang siswa yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 31 siswa dan kolompok kontrol berjumlah 30 siswa yang berasal siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Bulurokeng. Setelah melakukan penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa; (1) berdasarkan nilai-test t dari kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dalam posttest diperoleh hasil lebih rendah dari a (0,000<0,05) dan derajat kebebasan adalah 29. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima dan tentu saja, hipotesis nol (H 0) ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh metode pembelajaran Outing Class terhadap kemampuan kosakata pada siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Bulurokeng dan (2) berdasarkan hasil analisis data dari posttest dari kedua kelompok diperoleh hasil lebih rendah dari a (0,001<0,05) dan derajat kebebasan adalah 29. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran Outing Class terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi pada siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Bulurokeng Makassar dalam kelompok eksperimen. The aims of this study; (1) to determine the effect of the outing class learning method on vocabulary mastery in class VI UPT SPF students at Bulurokeng State Elementary School, Makassar and (2) to determine the effect of the outing class learning method on descriptive essay writing skills in class VI UPT SPF students at Bulurokeng State Elementary School. The research method used is quantitative research using quasi experimental design. The population in this study were class VI UPT SPF students at Bulurokeng State Elementary School. The sample for this research consisted of 61 students who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group of 31 students and the control group of 30 students who came from class VI UPT SPF students at Bulurokeng State Elementary School. After conducting research, researchers concluded that; (1) based on the t-test value of the experimental and control groups in the posttest, the results were lower than a (0.000<0.05) and the degrees of freedom were 29. This shows that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and of course the null hypothesis (H 0 ) rejected. This shows that the influence of the Outing Class learning method on vocabulary abilities in class VI students of UPT SPF SD Negeri Bulurokeng and (2) based on the results of data analysis from the posttest from both groups, the results obtained were lower than a (0.001<0.05) and degrees of freedom is 29. This shows that the alternative hypothesis (H 1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This shows that there is a significant influence of using the Outing Class learning method on descriptive essay writing skills in class VI UPT SPF students at SD Negeri Bulurokeng Makassar in the experimental group.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh media pembelajaran dan kemandirian belajar terhadap pembentukan karakter ekososial siswa kelas V di UPT SD Negeri 1 Bittuang, Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex-post facto, yang berarti peneliti mengamati fenomena yang telah terjadi secara alami tanpa intervensi langsung. Dalam konteks ini, variabel independen yang diamati adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran (X1) dan tingkat kemandirian belajar (X2), sedangkan variabel dependen adalah pembentukan karakter ekososial siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V UPT SD Negeri 1 Bittuang yang berjumlah 47 siswa, yang terbagi dalam dua kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh atau sensus, di mana seluruh populasi digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana untuk menguji pengaruh media pembelajaran dan kemandirian belajar terhadap pembentukan karakter ekososial siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap karakter ekososial siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai t sebesar 7,565 dan nilai signifikansi (Sig) sebesar 0,000. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran yang efektif dapat meningkatkan pembentukan karakter ekososial siswa kelas V UPT SD Negeri 1 Bittuang. Selain itu, hasil regresi linear sederhana juga menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter ekososial siswa. Nilai t yang diperoleh sebesar 21,275 dan nilai signifikansi (Sig) sebesar 0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kemandirian belajar siswa, semakin baik pembentukan karakter ekososial mereka. Kemandirian belajar memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan tanggung jawab, inisiatif, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang berkontribusi pada karakter ekososial mereka. This study aims to investigate the influence of learning media and learning independence on the formation of ecosocial character of grade V students at UPT SD Negeri 1 Bittuang, Tana Toraja Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto research type, which means that researchers observe phenomena that have occurred naturally without direct intervention. In this context, the independent variables observed are the use of learning media (X1) and the level of learning independence (X2), while the dependent variable is the formation of students' ecosocial character. The population in this study were all V grade students of UPT SD Negeri 1 Bittuang totaling 47 students, which were divided into two classes. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample or census, where the entire population is used as a research sample. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression to test the effect of learning media and learning independence on students' ecosocial character building. The results showed that learning media had a significant influence on students' ecosocial character. This is evidenced by the t value of 7.565 and the significance value (Sig) of 0.000. These results indicate that the use of effective learning media can improve the formation of ecosocial character of grade V students of UPT SD Negeri 1 Bittuang. In addition, the results of simple linear regression also show that learning independence has a significant influence on students' ecosocial character building. The t value obtained is 21.275 and the significance value (Sig) is 0.000. This shows that the higher the students' learning independence, the better their ecosocial character building. Learning independence allows students to develop responsibility, initiative, and critical thinking skills that contribute to their ecosocial character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang kinerja guru kelas dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada UPTD SD Negeri 6 Batalaiworu di Kabupaten Muna, dengan fokus pada dimensi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus kolektif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kinerja guru dalam perencanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik tentang prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka, menghasilkan rencana pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. (2) Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, guru mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inovatif, menggunakan berbagai media untuk meningkatkan minat siswa. (3) Pada dimensi penilaian, guru telah mengintegrasikan asesmen dalam proses pembelajaran untuk memberikan umpan balik yang holistik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pengembangan Kurikulum Merdeka di tingkat nasional, dengan menawarkan wawasan tentang tantangan dan praktik terbaik dalam implementasi kurikulum di tingkat sekolah dasar. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the performance of elementary school teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at UPTD SD Negeri 6 Batalaiworu in Muna Regency, focusing on the dimensions of lesson planning, lesson implementation, and assessment. Using a qualitative method with a collective case study approach, the research gathered data through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that: (1) Teachers demonstrate a strong understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum principles in lesson planning, developing competency-based plans aligned with student needs. (2) In lesson implementation, teachers create an innovative learning environment and use various media to enhance student engagement. (3) In assessment, teachers integrate evaluation into the learning process to provide holistic feedback. This study contributes significantly to the national development of the Merdeka Curriculum by offering insights into the challenges and best practices for curriculum implementation at the elementary school level.
