Abstract

This study aims to explore stakeholders' perceptions of the implementation of strategic management in educational institutions and the factors influencing its success. A qualitative approach using a case study method was employed to collect data through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), participatory observations, and document analysis across various educational institutions madrasahs. The findings reveal that stakeholders' perceptions vary depending on the level of involvement, quality of communication, resource support, and leadership style applied by institutional leaders. Stakeholders who are actively involved and provided with a clear understanding tend to have positive perceptions and better support the implementation of strategies. Conversely, a lack of participation and ineffective communication leads to negative perceptions, resistance, and obstacles in strategy implementation. This study highlights the importance of involving stakeholders from the planning to the evaluation stages, strengthening communication, and providing adequate resource support to enhance the success of strategy implementation. The implications of this research are expected to assist educational institutions in developing more inclusive and effective management policies and practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is a means to realize the importance of humanitarian education in building Islamic humanism and understanding the urgency of its values. Islamic law basically contains the values of universal humanism. This is apparent in syaria that was born as a mercy to the universe. Islamic Humanism departs from empirical social reality and human condition. Religion is interpreted in a contextual manner, resulting in a process of dialogue between text and reality, between normativity and historicity. That way space can be open to the fulfillment of humanity. In general, humanism means the dignity and worth of every human being, and all efforts to enhance his natural abilities ( physical non-physical) in full. And humanism can be simply understood as an effort to affirm the humanity of man.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has transformed literacy beyond traditional reading and writing skills, making digital literacy a crucial competency in education. In Indonesia, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) play a significant role in shaping students’ academic and ethical development. However, the integration of digital literacy within pesantren remains understudied, despite its potential to enhance students' ability to access, analyze, and utilize digital information responsibly. Understanding how digital literacy is managed in these institutions is essential for ensuring students are equipped for modern educational and professional environments. This study aims to examine the role of digital literacy management in improving student literacy at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School and Riyadlul Ulum wa Da'wah Islamic Boarding School. It evaluates how structured digital literacy programs contribute to students’ cognitive and practical literacy skills. Using a Mixed Methods approach with Sequential Exploratory design, qualitative data was collected through observation and interviews, while quantitative analysis was conducted using Likert scale questionnaires, Pearson correlation, and Cronbach’s Alpha. Regression analysis indicates that digital literacy management significantly influences student literacy, with R Square values of 0.543 and 0.760, respectively. The findings highlight the need for sustainable digital literacy initiatives, emphasizing ethical technology use. Future research should explore broader impacts to refine educational policies in pesantren.
