Abstract

The era of society 5.0 is a time when humans must be able to maximize technology in their every activity. Meanwhile, lecturers and students at STAIN Mandailing Natal are faced with a lack of understanding of the devices and platforms that can be used in learning Arabic. Therefore, this activity is intended to strengthen the understanding of lecturers and students on various platforms that can be used in learning Arabic in the era of society 5.0. The activity is carried out in the form of seminars, the implementation technique is carried out by presenting the material which is then continued with question and answer. Data is obtained through direct interaction with assisted participants. The interaction in question is the communication carried out by the resource person before and after the presentation of the material. In accordance with the results of the activity, it is known that assisted participants have an increased understanding of several platforms that can be used in learning Arabic. This conclusion is based on the presence of a positive response to the questions asked after the presentation of the material, besides that the enthusiasm of the participants to explore and study various platforms other than those that are socialized also grows after the implementation of the activity.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of motivation of students inadding memorization and maintaining memorization, even though theresults of the study show that memorization of the Koran has an influenceon understanding Arabic. The purpose of this study is to determine whetherthere is a relationship between tsiqah tahfidz Al-Qur’an with maharah allughahal-arabiyyah mustawa tsalits in Ma’had Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam.This study uses quantitative methods, the population in the study directlyinto a sample of 26 people, data collection techniques in this study usingquestionnaires, after the data are obtained the researchers analyze the datawith the percentage and correlation formula. The research findings are thatthere is a significant relationship between tsiqah tahfidz Al-Qur’an withmaharah al-lughah al-‘arabiyah. The conclusions in this study are: 1). Tsiqahtahfidz Al-Qur’an is included in the high classification, with an average of83.81, located at intervals of 83-88, frequency 8 and a percentage of 30.8%,2). Maharah al-lughah al-‘arabiyah belongs to the high classification, withan average of 80.54, located at intervals of 79-85, frequency of 10 and apercentage of 38.5%, 3). There is a significant relationship between tsiqahtahfidz Al-Qur’an with maharah al-lughah al-’arabiyah, the test obtainedrcount of 0.680 and rtable for N 26 of 0.388. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kurangnya motivasi siswa dalammenambahkan menghafal dan memelihara penghafalan, meskipun hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa menghafal Alquran memiliki pengaruh padapemahaman bahasa Arab. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukanapakah ada hubungan antara tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur>an dengan Maharah Al-Lughah Al-‘Arabiyyah mustawa tsalits di Ma>had Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam.Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, populasi dalam studi langsungke sampel dari 26 orang, teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian inimenggunakan kuesioner, setelah data diperoleh peneliti menganalisis datadengan rumus persentase dan korelasi. Temuan penelitian adalah bahwa adahubungan yang signifikan antara tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dengan MaharahAl-Lughah Al-’Arabiyah. Kesimpulan dalam kajian ini adalah: 1). tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur’an termasuk dalam klasifikasi tinggi, dengan rerata 83,81, terletakpada interval 83-88, frekuensi 8 dan persentasi sebesar 30,8%, 2). Maharah Al-Lughah Al-’Arabiyah tergolong klasifikasi tinggi, dengan rerata 80,54, terletakpada interval 79-85, frekuensi 10 dan persentase 38,5% , 3). Ada hubunganyang signifikan antara tsiqah Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dengan Maharah Al-LughahAl-’ Arabiyah, tes yang diperoleh rcount 0,680 dan rtable untuk N 26 dari0,388.

Abstract

The Arabic language learning using the book "Arabiya Baina Yadaik" at Dar El Iman Islamic Boarding School in Padang faces significant challenges in meeting the graduation standard of a minimum score of 85. Among the 21 first-year junior high school students, 52% did not achieve this standard. To address this issue, remedial activities were conducted to ensure all students could meet the learning targets. This research aims to improve Arabic language learning outcomes through a remedial teaching method that combines group and individual tasks. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to detail the implementation and results of the remedial activities. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and analysis of student scores before and after the remedial activities. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes following the remedial activities. The graduation rate increased from 48% to 85%, and the number of students who did not pass decreased from 11 to 3. This demonstrates that the remedial teaching method is effective in helping students achieve the graduation standard. In conclusion, combining group and individual tasks in remedial teaching can significantly enhance students' Arabic learning outcomes and overcome learning obstacles. This research contributes to developing more effective Arabic teaching strategies in Islamic boarding schools and other educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana pengelolaan kurikulum keislaman di pondok pesantren Salafiah, tujuan ini didasarkan pada realita bahwa kurikulum keislaman pada masing-masing lembaga pendidikan swasta memiliki perbedaan antara satu dengan yang lainnya, hal ini dikarenakan setiap pengelola lembaga pendidikan khususnya pondok pesantren memiliki wewenang untuk mengelola kurikulumnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif, sumber data penelitian pimpinan pondok pesantren, wakil bidang kurikulum, guru yang ada di pondok pesantren dipilih secara purposive, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, data dianalisis dengan pendekatan interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengelolaan kurikulum di pondok pesantren Salafiah Baitul Rafki As-Sa’diyah Talu ialah: 1) perencanaan kurikulum keislaman didominasi oleh hasil pemikiran dan keinginan pimpinan pondok pesantren, 2) pelaksanaan kurikulum keislaman di pondok pesantren ini dilaksanakan semua SDM sesuai dengan arahan wakil kurikulum, 3) Evaluasi kurikulum pada pondok pesantren ini tidak dilakukan sesuai dengan tuntutan perubahan zaman.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai bangsa yang multietnis, multikultural, dan multireligius membutuhkan model pendidikan yang mampu menumbuhkan sikap toleran, demokratis, dan berkarakter. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep model pendidikan multikultural, pendidikan karakter, serta peranan guru dalam membangun karakter peserta didik melalui pendidikan multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) terhadap berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan, baik buku maupun artikel ilmiah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan multikultural merupakan model pendidikan yang menekankan penghargaan terhadap keragaman budaya, etnis, agama, dan latar belakang sosial peserta didik. Pendidikan karakter berbasis multikultural dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif melalui prinsip integratif, kompak, dan konsisten, yaitu dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai multikultural ke dalam seluruh kegiatan sekolah, melibatkan seluruh komponen pendidikan, serta menerapkannya secara berkelanjutan tanpa diskriminasi. Guru memiliki peranan strategis sebagai teladan, fasilitator, dan agen perubahan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi, keadilan, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan kepada peserta didik. Dengan demikian, pengembangan model pendidikan karakter berbasis multikultural tidak hanya relevan tetapi juga menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Implementasi yang tepat diharapkan mampu membentuk peserta didik yang berkarakter, berakhlak mulia, serta mampu hidup harmonis dalam masyarakat yang plural.

Abstract

The reliance on conventional, teacher-centred methods in Arabic reading instruction often leads to passive learning and low student motivation, thereby limiting proficiency development. While prior research acknowledges collaborative learning's benefits, its specific application through structured models like Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) in Arabic Islamic junior high schools remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the efficacy of the CIRC model in improving the Arabic reading skills of eighth-grade students. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was employed at Pemangku Islamic Junior High School, Bandung. The experimental group (n=35) was taught using CIRC, while the control group (n=32) received traditional rule-based instruction. Data from pre- and post-tests were analyzed for normality, homogeneity, and mean differences using paired T-tests and N-Gain scores. Results revealed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group's reading scores (Mean N-Gain: 0.35; categorized as moderate effectiveness), with the experimental group outperforming the control group. The findings conclude that the CIRC model effectively enhances Arabic reading skills by promoting active, interactive, and socially constructed learning, offering a significant pedagogical innovation for similar educational contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji filsafat ilmu yang meliputi ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi serta urgensinya dalam kajian Islam. Filsafat ilmu memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun kerangka konseptual yang mendasari pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya dalam konteks keilmuan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber primer dan sekunder berupa buku, artikel jurnal, dan karya ilmiah yang relevan dengan filsafat ilmu dan studi Islam. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dan filosofis-kritis untuk menelaah konsep, asumsi, serta implikasi ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis dalam kajian keislaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ontologi Islam berakar pada prinsip tauhid yang menegaskan Allah sebagai sumber utama realitas dan eksistensi, sehingga membentuk pandangan holistik terhadap manusia, alam, dan kehidupan. Epistemologi Islam bersifat integratif dengan menggabungkan wahyu, akal, dan pengalaman empiris sebagai sumber pengetahuan yang sahih. Sementara itu, aksiologi Islam menekankan bahwa ilmu pengetahuan harus diarahkan pada kemaslahatan umat manusia dan dilandasi oleh nilai-nilai etika serta tanggung jawab moral. Integrasi ketiga aspek filsafat ilmu tersebut memperkaya kajian Islam secara teoretis dan praktis, serta memperkuat dialog antara Islam dan sains modern. Dengan demikian, kajian filsafat ilmu memiliki urgensi tinggi dalam pengembangan keilmuan Islam yang kritis, komprehensif, dan bernilai.

Abstract

This study aims to deconstruct and conduct an in-depth analysis of the pedagogical structure of the classical text Al-Ajrumiyyah through the lens of David Ausubel’s Meaningful Learning theory. In the context of Arabic language education in Indonesia, the primary challenges are low knowledge retention and the failure to functionally apply grammatical rules in real communication issues often stemming from the dominance of rote learning methods. Utilizing a library research approach with content analysis techniques, this study explores how the systematics of the 25 chapters in Al-Ajrumiyyah reflect cognitive principles such as advance organizers, progressive differentiation, integrative reconciliation, and subsumption. The results indicate that this text is not merely a grammatical summary, but a cognitive instrument deductively structured to facilitate the stable assimilation of new information into the student's existing knowledge structure.These findings suggest that integrating meaningful learning values into the teaching of Kitab Kuning can transform the effectiveness of Arabic education, address student heterogeneity, and align Pesantren traditions with modern curricular demands. The implications of this research emphasize the need for a methodological reorientation among Arabic educators to prioritize conceptual interconnectedness over the mere accumulation of verbal information

Abstract

Objective: This article aims to analyze the concept of multicultural equality and justice in education, particularly from the perspective of Islamic education, as well as explain its implications for the formation of character education in a multicultural society. Theoretical framework: This research is based on the theory of multicultural education (Banks and Nieto), the theory of social and distributive justice, and the value of Islamic education that emphasizes al-'adl (justice) and al-musāwah (equality). Literature review: The literature review examines studies on multicultural education, social justice, and Islamic education, and shows that there is still limited research that integrates multicultural equality and justice within the framework of Islamic education. Methods: The research uses a qualitative approach through a literature study of books, journal articles, and education policy documents, with content analysis and conceptual synthesis. Results: The results of the study show that equality in Islamic education is interpreted as recognition of equal human dignity, while justice is understood as the provision of rights and opportunities for learning proportionally. The integration of these two principles in multicultural education contributes significantly to the formation of the character of students who are tolerant, fair, and responsible. Implications: Theoretically, this study enriches the study of Islamic-based multicultural education; practically, it becomes the basis for the development of an equity- and justice-oriented curriculum, learning, and school culture. Novelty: The novelty of the research lies in the systematic integration of the concept of multicultural equality and justice with character education from the perspective of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the use of word-chain games as a strategy in teaching Arabic spaking skill (maharah al-kalam) . This study used a qualitative approach where data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The qualitative analysis methodologies of Miles and Huberman were used for this study. Qualitative analysis consists of three steps after data collection: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. Based on the results, maharah al-kalam learning using word chain games has an impact on the quality of the process, as evidenced by increased results. Students become more active, and their motivation increases. Improving the quality of the learning process is evidenced by the active participation of students in responding to teacher statements as well as their enthusiasm in perfecting sentences spoken by other groups. Learning outcomes are getting better, but fluency and memorization of vocabulary cannot be improved using the word chain game. According to observers and practitioners of Arabic language education, word chains have an impact on teaching speaking skills; therefore, it is important to explain their use in Ilamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah).
