Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembacaan Asmaul Husna terhadap perilaku religius siswa melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik library research, yang melibatkan analisis terhadap berbagai literatur, jurnal, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Data dikumpulkan dari sumber-sumber terpercaya yang membahas implementasi pembacaan Asmaul Husna dalam konteks pendidikan dan pembentukan karakter religius siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembacaan Asmaul Husna secara rutin dapat meningkatkan aspek-aspek perilaku religius siswa, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, toleransi, dan kedisiplinan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh internalisasi nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Asmaul Husna, yang mendorong siswa untuk meneladani sifat-sifat Allah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, pembacaan Asmaul Husna dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi efektif dalam pembentukan karakter religius siswa di lingkungan pendidikan

The transformation of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum into a strategic approach to prepare a strong and relevant generation in the digital era. This study analyzes changes in the design and implementation of a competency-based PAI curriculum to meet the demands of 21st-century competencies, such as critical thinking skills, creativity, digital literacy, and strong religious values. This research investigates how competency components can be aligned with holistic PAI principles to shape students with spiritual, moral, and social awareness. This is done using a descriptive qualitative approach. Research results show that a competency-based curriculum can provide a flexible framework to integrate technology, innovative learning approaches, and a structured Islamic values approach to prepare a generation that is not only knowledgeable in science but also moral and character-driven. With this change, the role of teachers as creative facilitators and continuous evaluators is very important to ensure that the competencies taught align with the needs and challenges of the times. According to this research, PAI teachers must be continuously trained to master the use of technology in teaching and the comprehensive development of their students' competencies.

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the role of Islamic learning in fostering the morals of students of the Islamic Education Study Program (PAI) in the midst of the increasingly strong culture of individualism in the modern era. The culture of individualism often weakens the value of togetherness, empathy, and social responsibility, thus affecting the character of students in the university environment. Therefore, learning Islamic Religion needs to be interpreted not only as a means of delivering religious material, but also as a strategic instrument in the process of building morals as a whole. This research uses a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that Islamic learning in PAI Study Program has been arranged integratively, by accommodating moral values in the components of learning objectives, teaching materials, methods, and evaluation. Lecturers act as exemplary models, both through attitudes and interactions in the learning process. However, the results also show that the influence of the culture of individualism is still a significant challenge. Some students tend to show selfishness, lack of empathy, and low social participation. Therefore, a more contextual and participatory learning strategy is needed, as well as an approach that touches the emotional and spiritual dimensions of students. This research contributes to developing an Islamic religious learning model that is adaptive to students' social dynamics, as well as being a foundation for strengthening moral values ??in Islamic higher education environments. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran pembelajaran Agama Islam dalam membina akhlak mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di tengah arus budaya individualisme yang semakin menguat di era modern. Budaya individualisme kerap melemahkan nilai kebersamaan, empati, dan tanggung jawab sosial, sehingga memengaruhi karakter mahasiswa di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran Agama Islam perlu dimaknai tidak sekadar sebagai sarana penyampaian materi keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam proses pembinaan akhlak secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Agama Islam di Prodi PAI telah disusun secara integratif, dengan mengakomodasi nilai-nilai moral dalam komponen tujuan pembelajaran, materi ajar, metode, dan evaluasi. Dosen berperan sebagai model keteladanan, baik melalui sikap maupun interaksi dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh budaya individualisme masih menjadi tantangan signifikan. Beberapa mahasiswa cenderung menunjukkan sikap egois, kurang empati, dan rendahnya partisipasi sosial. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan partisipatif, serta pendekatan yang menyentuh dimensi emosional dan spiritual mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran Agama Islam yang adaptif terhadap dinamika sosial mahasiswa, serta menjadi landasan dalam memperkuat nilai-nilai moral di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi Islam.

The growing reliance on AI-driven technologies has raised critical concerns about the decline in students’ abilities in critical thinking, logical reasoning, and motor skills. In response, this study investigates the potential of abacus learning a traditional method that stimulates both hemispheres of the brain by engaging both hands simultaneously to mitigate these challenges. The primary objective is to develop and evaluate an abacus training management model that strengthens the instructional competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers, enabling them to implement abacus-based learning effectively within the context of modern educational demands. The research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Bandar Lampung using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and documentation to support the design, development, and validation of the training model. Expert assessments demonstrated high feasibility: material experts rated the model at 88.75%, and media experts at 92.5%. Additionally, teachers who participated in the training assessed its effectiveness at 85%, indicating strong usability. Quantitative analysis using a t-test revealed a t-observed value of 44.737, significantly exceeding the t-critical value of 2.069 at a 0.05 significance level. This confirms that the model is statistically effective in improving teachers’ abacus teaching skills. These findings reaffirm the continued relevance of traditional tools like the abacus in an era dominated by artificial intelligence. The study concludes that integrating such manual learning strategies can complement digital advancements. Future research is recommended to explore this model’s application across varied educational settings and learner demographics.

Curriculum is a central element in the education system that determines the direction, content, and process of learning. However, in practice, there remains a significant gap between the ideal curriculum and its actual implementation in the field. Curricula are often not adaptive to the changing times, the diverse needs of learners, and the dynamic demands of a globalized world. This study aims to examine various conceptual models, designs, approaches, and curriculum development models through a literature review method. The research involved analyzing scholarly sources such as journal articles, academic books, and official educational policy documents published in the last ten years. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method with a thematic approach. The findings indicate that various curriculum development models—such as those by Tyler, Taba, and Bruner—and constructivist approaches are increasingly relevant to contemporary educational contexts. Furthermore, the integration of a strong conceptual model, learner-centered design, and participatory-reflective approaches emerges as essential in creating an adaptive and contextually responsive curriculum. This study concludes that effective curriculum development must be based on an integrative framework that bridges theory and practice, while also allowing room for future development through implementation trials at the institutional level. The results of this study are expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to curriculum policy formulation and educator capacity development in the era of transformative education. ABSTRAKKurikulum merupakan elemen sentral dalam sistem pendidikan yang menentukan arah, isi, dan proses pembelajaran. Namun dalam praktiknya, masih terdapat kesenjangan antara kurikulum yang diidealkan dengan implementasinya di lapangan. Kurikulum sering kali tidak adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman, kebutuhan peserta didik, serta tuntutan global yang dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam berbagai model konseptual, desain, pendekatan, dan model pengembangan kurikulum melalui metode studi literatur. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menelaah sumber-sumber ilmiah seperti jurnal, buku, dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang diterbitkan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beragam model dan pendekatan pengembangan kurikulum, seperti model Tyler, Taba, Bruner, dan pendekatan konstruktivistik yang semakin relevan untuk konteks pendidikan masa kini. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa integrasi antara model konseptual, desain berbasis kebutuhan peserta didik, serta pendekatan partisipatif dan reflektif menjadi kunci dalam merancang kurikulum yang adaptif dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan kurikulum yang efektif harus didasarkan pada kerangka integratif yang mampu menjembatani antara teori dan praktik, serta membuka peluang bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut melalui uji implementasi di tingkat institusional. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dalam perumusan kebijakan kurikulum serta pengembangan kapasitas pendidik di era pendidikan transformatif.

This research investigates the meaning, principles, and philosophical foundations of the 21st-century basic education curriculum. This research discusses the issues and prospects that arise as a result of technological changes in the world of education. Additionally, a curriculum that can accommodate digital skills is needed. This research synthesizes theoretical and empirical results from educational journals from 2020–2025 using qualitative content analysis and literature review methods. The research shows that critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy will be the focus of the 21st-century curriculum. Philosophically, the development of this curriculum is based on the streams of progressivism, constructivism, and humanism that align with the needs of modern learners. This study provides recommendations for educators and policymakers to redesign the basic education curriculum to meet the demands of the times.

Madrasah need to develop a development strategy into a quality Islamic educational institution so that madrasah are able to adjust to the demands of national education standards. This study aims to identify and analyze madrasah development strategies in improving the quality of education. This type of research is phenomology with a qualitative level of exploration. Purposive sampling of data was taken by the head of the madrasah and his deputy, teachers, and students. Data taken through observation and interviews whose results were analyzed inductively. The results of the study found madrasah development strategies, namely carrying out autonomy, optimizing community / parent participation, utilizing human resources owned, open and cooperative, responsibility and high performance, guidance from central and regional religious ministries, transparency, socialization of development concepts, and careful planning. The conclusion of the research is that the madrasah development strategy can improve the quality of education in MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung better.

Education is fundamentally a process of shaping character and developing students' abilities. However, the expected educational outcomes have not been fully achieved, as evidenced by the low academic performance of many students. This study aims to examine aspects of curriculum implementation and the learning process. A qualitative research method was employed using a case study approach. The findings reveal that curriculum implementation, particularly in the learning process, involves student interaction with teachers and engagement with real-world problems both inside and outside the classroom. The stages of curriculum implementation consist of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Several factors hinder effective curriculum implementation, including a lack of teacher innovation, limited teacher skills and knowledge of new methodologies, inadequate facilities, misaligned policies, and low motivation to adopt innovations. Curriculum implementation is influenced by three main factors: curriculum characteristics, implementation strategies, and the characteristics of curriculum users.

The development of Islamic-based learning models and pictures media recently has become the focus of research in Indonesia, especially the integration between the values of science and religion. This study aimed to develop pictures of media based on Islamic values in Biology learning for high school students. The research and development procedures proposed by Borg & Gall and ADDIE model proposed by Kurt which had been modified into the ISI-ARE (Investigate, Strategy, Improve, Assessment, Realization, and Estimation) model was used as the research method. The data was collected through investigations and questionnaire validation by four experts (material, media, language, and religion). The investigation questionnaire and a media feasibility response questionnaire were distributed to two experienced biology teachers and 20 tenth-grade students (10 males and 10 females). The results showed that the media, religion, and language experts stated that the developed Islamic-based pictures media was highly feasible to be used with the obtained percentage of 90.30 %, 83.70 %, and 81.50 %. However, the material experts rated the media as feasible (75.00 %) and the teachers and students respectively rated the media as highly feasible with a percentage of 75.40 % and 87.20 %. This study illustrates that the Islamic values-based pictures media can be used as an alternative in biology learning.

This study aimed to formulate a model for the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic management systems in Islamic higher education institutions to achieve the goals they have set in a competitive and dynamic environment. The researchers conducted this study at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Intan Lampung for nine months, from January to September 2020. This study employed the qualitative paradigm of phenomenology. The strategy to realize excellence is known as the university strategies. The strategies consist of ten aspects: 1) increasing the quality of inputs, 2) increasing superior learning processes and outcomes based on the competency and expertise areas, 3) increasing research and research-based service by emphasizing the significance of the results, 4) improving the quality of human resources, 5) improving students’ achievement academically and non-academically, 6) increasing financial independence, environmentally sound assets, land, and infrastructure, 7) increasing accreditation rankings, 8) mainstreaming information technology as the backbone of credible, accountable, transparent, responsible and just governance, 9) improving cooperation, and 10) improving collaboration with other institutions and universities. This research can be a reference for universities' policy-makers in revising the universities' management.
