The track record of the development of science will be easily traced by the scientific community through various forms of scientific information. Social workers have thousands and even millions of aspects and scope of scholarship that can be used as materials to develop science. As a professional, social workers including counselors, psychologists and other professions are urgently needed to develop their insights and knowledge about human and territorial behavior that can be addressed through counseling services. Various things will certainly be realized by the research or research and publish through scientific articles. However, in reality, BK / Konselor teachers have not been too concerned and develop the ability and competence in the field of scientific articles. Various cases and services that should be used as material for scientific and professional discussions are not published in the form of scientific articles so that in general the parameters of the development of BK services in schools can not be known with certainty. These conditions require BK teachers to be able to have competence and skills in writing scientific articles and using digital citation program / software.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of behavioral counseling using assertive technique to minimize the juvenile delinquency of students. This research is an experimental research design. The study population was the eighth grade students in South Solok West Sumatra consist of 82 students using Random Sampling. Data collection methods that used in this study were a questionnaire method. Data were analyzed by t-test with SPSS 20.0 for Windows. The results showed that there are significant differences between the groups which have deviant behavior who take behavioral counseling session with a group of students who do not follow the behavioral counseling session. It could be seen from a group of students who take behavioral counseling session (133.17) compare with a group of students who do not follow behavioral counseling session (85.32), and from the analysis of t with df = 82 and 1% significance level (t = 0.053, p <0.01). So the application of behavioral counseling Training assertive techniques to minimize misbehavior is effective to reduce the juvenile delinquency of students.

Education is an important human activity, and a fundamental right of every human. There has been a continuous transformation of educational counseling methods and processes to improve them. However, research about the application of educational principles to long-distance counseling has not been available until now. This research aims to study the implementation of educational principles in the online counseling process with the Rasch model. The sample size of this study is 174 people, spread across Indonesia with varying demographics. The results of the study show that the application of educational principles in online counseling services significantly suppresses the problematic conditions of respondents. The study also examines how online counseling services serves as a quick help or first aid to problematic conditions experienced by clients. The implementation of the educational principles discussed in this study relates to the development of self-potential, self-control, personality development, independence development and development of self-intelligence and other skills.

As a generation that grows in the era of internet and digital advancement, millennial generation is the generation that is always connected to each other (always connected generation). The high level of use of social media in this generation has raised concerns about the consequences of problems related to the use of social media in this group. One of them they try and have a desire to continue to connect with what is being done by others through cyberspace so as to cause anxiety in themselves and lead to a fear, which is the fear of being left behind. This phenomenon is called FoMO (Fear of Missing Out). This study describes the level of FoMO inclination in Padang State University students. The sample used was 416 respondents spread throughout the faculties and the sampling was done using propotional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale model. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results of the study in general showed that the tendency of FoMO in students was in the low category at 47.59%.

The development of science and knowledge and the structure of society has had various impacts on the order of social life. No exception influences the smallest organization, namely the family. The model and parenting patterns of the previous generation (the baby boomers’ generation) are significantly different from the next generation. Of course, this also causes differences in the results and impacts obtained. However, the issues related to parenting tend to remain the same. One parenting that is often used is authoritarian parenting, in which parent’s tom much impose his will on the child as desired. This makes children become depressed so that the proximity of the child with parents rift or loose. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implications of parenting conditions and its various characteristics in building closeness between parents and children.

Many employees can not work as usual, even having to lose work due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Generally, employees have difficulty adapting to the demands that all are done at home or better known as Work From Home. In this situation, employees need to continue to work in the company or its organization while paying attention to health protocols that the Government has established. However, this has an impact on job satisfaction and employee mental health. This manuscript analyzes the impact of the pandemic on employee performance and the role of counselors in optimizing mental health. Many employees feel that their work must be more extra to meet the needs of life to be fulfilled and how the level of work satisfaction of the employees themselves in the face of this COVID-19 pandemic. Here also required an expert or counselor to know the job satisfaction of the employees themselves so that they can still provide services or the best results for the company and himself.

The purpose of this study is to find out the extent of the relationship between the role of parents and understanding of the gender’s concepts of children in kindergartens. This research was conducted on 30 selected kindergarten students by using proportional random sampling technique. The type of this research used is quantitative research with correlation method. The populations of this study were children in Kartika 1-63 kindergarten of Padang, and the samples were children of kindergarten group B using the technique of proportional random sampling in groups B1, B2, B3, and B4. The research data was collected by using Parent Role Inventory (PRI) and Childhood Gender Concept (CGC) Inventory. The analysis of data was done validity and reliability testing and using the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. Research data were analyzed by regression analysis. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant correlation between the role of the parent towards the understanding of gender concepts for the children in kindergarten group B, Kartika 1 - 63 kindergarten, Padang, with correlation coefficient ry. 1 = 0564 of alpha 0.05 and Ŷ = 52, 13 + 0.445X; Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that parent have a significant role for children understanding about the concept of gender.

Various researches in information technology, especially in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 have revealed that there has been a major change in the use of wireless devices in the past decade. The high internet usage is directly proportional to the use of social media which is increasing every year. Social media in principle provides various communities in accordance with the purpose and development goals of the platform. This of course will arouse the arena of new problems at the client's life level, thus becoming a challenge for counselors in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Counselors in this era are required to have a deeper understanding of the root causes that might arise from the online world. Counselors are also required to have special skills in handling individual welfare conditions related to the impact of activities on social media. This study discusses the general impact of social media on individual subjective well-being conditions. This study involved 174 respondents spread throughout the territory of Indonesia by its demography. The results showed that respondents needed mental health interventions through online channels and not in the form of social media.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the dynamics of forgiveness of domestic violence victims. Anything that is the reason for the victim chooses to provide forgiveness and maintain the relationship of his household. The method used in this article is the library research method. The results of this study indicate that victims of domestic violence choose to provide forgiveness because it is influenced by certain factors. This factor becomes a force of the victim to maintain his household relationship. As for some of these factors, such as the presence of children, feeling ashamed to report the treatment of their husbands, not having a job so that they depend on living fully with their husbands and considering the length of marriage that has been fostered together.

Marriage purposes are to form a prosperous and happy family forever. Happy the family is a reflection of the harmony of a family. But in the last few years many phenomena are emerging about the problems in the family that makes the family becomes unharmonious such as quarrels, jealousy, infidelity, income differences, and differences in life principles and to the action to end marriage or divorce. Households are very dangerous if they keep on continuing though in the family difference is a reasonable thing. Problems that occur should immediately find the best solution so as not to cause negative impacts for the family. Solving various problems in the family one of them can be completed through counseling so that the problems faced can be resolved. This study aims to get a picture of the psychological impact of divorce at the beginning of marriage. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. In this study, the variables that will be examined the psychological impact on divorce early in the marriage will be explored in depth.
