Abstract

Primary school teachers need to have technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge in online teaching. TPACK is an integrative and transformative knowledge that teachers need to use technology effectively and efficiently in the classroom. This article investigates primary school teachers' perceptions of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competencies in implementing online learning due to the pandemic COVID-19. The sample in this study were 117 primary school teachers in North Sulawesi province. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was collected using a questionnaire on a Likert scale developed in Google Form. The results showed that most primary school teachers in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, already had TPACK competencies in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even so, TPACK competencies are in need to be improved in the abilities of TK and PK. The correlation results between the TPACK constructs also showed that the PK and TPK components had a significant effect on TPACK primary school teachers' perception of online learning. It was also found that there was no significant difference between gender and TPACK competency of primary school teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of local wisdom-based story calendar media in improving students’ patriotism character. The type of research is pseudo- experimental, by using a nonequivalent control group design. The population of the study is the fourth-grade students of an elementary school in Ngaliyan District, Semarang, in the even semester, the academic year 2019/2020. The subjects were determined by implementing cluster random sampling. The influence of the media on students’ patriotism was measured using n-gain and independent t-tests. The results showed that the n-gain of students’ patriotism in the experimental class I and experimental class II were higher than the control class, such as 0.37, 0.39, and 0.07 with a moderate category for experimental class and low category for control class. Independent t-test results also showed that the value (p) were 0.025 and 0.044 ≤ 0.05, so there are significant differences in student’s patriotism character between experimental dan control class. So, it can conclude that the local wisdom-based story calendar media is effective for improving students’ patriotism character in the fourth grade of elementary school.

The research instrument was tested to 120 students. The validity test of the instrument used was the content validity with expert judgement technique, whereas the difference power index tested by product moment correlation formula. Instruments’ reliability was using Cronbach’s Alpha formula. The analysis of prerequisite test that had been used are the normality, linearity, and multi-collinearity test. Data analysis that used was multiple regression. The result shows that: 1) family’s religious culture partially gives significant effect on first grade students’ religiosity; 2) the discipline in attending TPA at school partially doesn’t give significant effect on first grade students’ religiosity; and 3) family’s religious culture and the discipline in attending TPA at school simultaneously give significant effect on first grade students’ religiosity with the effect is 5.2%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the group investigation model on students' interest in reading (attention, positive perception, and feeling happy). Research subjects 78 semester 4 students of PGSD UST. This study uses quasi-experimental methods (quasi experiment) with the design of two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The results showed the average reading interest of the experimental class on the pre-test 23,084 and on the post-test 26,205 so that there was influence. In the average control class the results of the 23,025 pre-test and post-test were still assumed to be 23,538, there was no increase as much as the experimental class. Based on the data it can be concluded that the group investigation model influences students' reading interest, especially positive perceptions and feelings of pleasure. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Group Investigation  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model group investigation terhadap minat baca (perhatian, persepsi positif, dan perasaan senang) mahasiswa.
